Really fun, beautiful but very crowded even on a Tuesday.
Really fun, beautiful but very crowded even on a Tuesday.
Prices To high 89 dollars for a shopping bag. This place is only for rich folks with money to waste.
there was bare minimum comfort even with the fan blowing! My suggestion pack frozen water $2 for water is ridiculous. It s an environment you see once and you don t die to see it again. The store is over priced nothing is wrong with wanting to earn a living but at whose cost? I love the state of Texas but not enough to spend my last. Tourist attraction can be overwhelming this visit isn t one I ll go back on. My kid and I did enjoy just getting out of the house. Remember that saying don t knock it until you tried it well I tried it and I am not impressed but I ll give a C for effort.
Although we weren t able to go inside we still loved being able to see the silos and feel close to Chip & Jo!
Such an amazing property and inspiration. Chip and Joanna are such amazing Inventors and it was an absolute delight to experience the love going on in Waco. Better get some tea when you are there... so amazingggggggg!
Fun place to visit. Busy even mid week. Some goods are unique to the physical and online stores. If you make a purchase you get a discount on your receipt for goods purchased at the original magnolia store on the other side of town.
It was a good experience and everyone had smiles on their faces. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely family friendly open spaces for kids to play too.
Lots of unique items for the home if you watch fixer upper some if the items on the show are at the store.
I was so excited to go to Magnolia Market Silos. However upon arrival it was a huge let down. It was a smaller area than what it seemed. Everything was over priced. I mean they were selling reusable grocery bags for $55. The best part about Magnolia Silos was the sweet tea food truck.
Cookies are good :) But had to send my omelet back, was runny inside. The 2nd time omelet made was good:)
Finally made it to Magnolia!
Unfortunately alot of it is under construction. Guess thats the penalty for being so successful. In my opinion everything is overpriced but people love it so they can charge it.
I fell in love The food, the shopping, the set up, the Atmosphere was just divine. The cupcakes are seriously like no other.
I absolutely loved the visit it was very much worth the drive bring your money
Bakery was amazing (not deathly sweet). Lots of food truck options. Classic Chip & Joanna style. Try the sweet tea!
Been waiting yrs to get here.Been sick so came after all.the Drs appts this week. From Mn.I love the Show so I wanted to make it here b4 going back to cold..
Wonderful experience!! Finally seeing it all first hand. Great time to visit, no lines for anything!! Found some great finds. Loved it all!!
Wonderful. The staff was so helpful. My dog got spoiled with lots of petting and even a treat.
Delicious cupcakes and definitely a must for fixer upper fans! Me and my family enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back for more goodies!
Very nice.great products and very friendly staff.recommend you visit here.
Wonderful, family orientated for a good day out! The bakery is full of simply delicious fare. Even if you don't live locally it's worth the drive!
Can't do Waco without stopping by the silos at Magnolia Market in downtown Waco. Great things and experience the nostalgia of downtown Waco check it out and be well VacationSensei
What can I say! It s the Gaines!! Everything is well appointed! The Silos are great to visit early in the morning! The shop is awesome and staff is kind and professional! The Silos bakery are a must and knock yourself out on the selfie opportunities!!
We applaud the idea to invest in a community and revitalize the area but from a tourist/consumer's prospective, the merch is expensive and the experience less than stellar. Much of it you can find at a local Target for less. I gave my 14 yo $20 to spend and she left disappointed when there weren't any t-shirts that she could afford. We left at her request and missed the bakery but, we doubt we would drive 10+ hrs again for that experience. The $2 water bottle was cool (water/design) + the photo ops added some smiles, quality time to our storyboard.
Loved the bakery especially, both it and the Marketplace are very busy. GET THERE EARLY!!! Their t- shirts and 1 style of sweatshirt are unisex, so if you don't see "typical female colors" (though they did have a couple of pale pink ones) that's why. I for one, loved the unpretentious neutral colors and style. Refreshing!
If you love the show, or love this style of decorating, you have to go! Family friendly even if you don't like to shop, with food trucks, large green space with yard toys and picnic tables in the shade to sit and visit. Get a cold sweet tea while you are there!
Fun and relaxing place to enjoy for the day or just a few hours even. Fun family place.
Super busy (even on a weekday) and really expensive but hey, that's to be expected for a tourist attraction like this. High quality goods though, and an interesting place to visit in general.
Lovely day at the silos! There is a lot to see and shop. Very easy to combine with a tour of old Waco. Definitely worth the trip.
Ray in the bakery was very charming. Enjoyed everything!
Raylene Hall
Only contains hipsters, old people trying to be trendy and "hip with the kids", and people named Karen
Nice family setting for everyone. Food trucks, shopping and atmosphere.
What a beautiful store to visit! A bit overpriced but defiantly fun to visit.
So glad I came here... everything I expected and more! Came here in January on a Monday. It was quite busy and hard to find parking. Ended up paying $10 for parking just so we didn t have to drive in circles looking for a spot. The grounds are beautiful and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The store was beautiful and prices were very reasonable. Clothes are so comfy and feel like great quality. Tons of cashiers working but the cash line at the back of the store was way less busy, so head back there to save yourself waiting in line. We arrived Monday just after lunch time and it was busy, believe this to be because they re closed Sundays so a lot of people stay and come Monday morning to get a visit in. Several food trucks surrounding the grassy area and again reasonable prices. We checked out some other shops in the area and then came back for one last walk through later in the afternoon and it was way less busy. I would recommend going later in the afternoon as there was way more parking at that time as well.
Worth the drive to Waco. Silos were so much fun and the bakery produced the best cupcakes and biscuits!
This was my second visit and it was nice. They continue to expand and I recommend you go for a visit too!
If you're a fan of Chip and JoAnna Gaines, this stop is a must when visiting Waco. We started our visit by going through the bakery to purchase some delicious cupcakes. I can definitely recommend the strawberry and Creme Brulee flavors! After enjoying our treats in the patio area outside the bakery, we spent time exploring the rest of the grounds. The gardens are beautiful and the architecture of the old silos is very interesting. A large retail store is also on site. Interesting to visit, but most of the items are available commercially elsewhere (Target, online, etc.) I would recommend going early since the crowd really grew after we entered the area. There is free street parking if you're willing to walk...we parked on the North side of the Silos near the railroad track. Be careful crossing the track - it is an active track with lots of trains making use of it.
Been before. It's okay my dauther and granddaughter want to go. The bakery was also good.
I'm a big fan of German (Germany) TV Broadcast Issue on the Sixx Channel by Fixer Upper of House Remodeling Broadcasting near Waco / Texas / USA at North End (North America) of the Caribbean!
Had a blast exploring the Silos! Got here early around 8 and easily found street parking. Had a lovely time!
Watched the show for yrs. Love Chip and Joanna but its just a bakery a few food trucks a very expensive store and 2 silos. you can't look around in the bakery its 1 line someone meets you at the door hands you an order form and that's it! You have to pick your cupcakes and go! Its also 10.00 to park and look at something that will take less then an hour. I was disappointed. But i don't know what i was expecting.
It was a bit disappointing for me. Not my kind of thing I suppose.
Love this place and atmosphere. Had a really good time enjoying the area, shops, food, and more! Highly recommend to stop by when passing Waco.
Super crowded, very highly priced. It's okay to do, but definitely go on a weekday. I will say that the bakery has decent goods. Cookies and cinnamon roll were amazing. Cupcakes were dry, but the icings were delicious. Fun to see if you are in the area.
Really cute! I am a Chip and Joanna fan. I couldn't wait to visit and am glad I did <3
Did not disappoint. So fun. Cupcakes are a mustttt!
It s 2 silos, overpriced store and food trucks, and long lines to go into the bakery or 2 hour wait for Magnolia Table. Almost died tripping on some stone tiles and went we left it had happen to someone else and an ambulance was called. We literally stopped for 10 minutes and left. Save your time and money.
Lots of construction. When it is finished, I think it will be a cool place. For us, a little pricey. Nice merchandise, but as expected, more of a place for out of towners to make purchases. Currently, unless you are buying, 30-45 minutes and you have seen it all. It was a nice visit added to the Cameron Park Zoo.
Lots of things to look at and fair prices on their items.
The food trucks are my favorite part of the experience :)
Good place for free water bottle fill ups. I was in Waco for two days from NY for a job interview. This was the only place I saw any people because it is in fact a ghost town, the tornado in the 50s must have blown everyone away into Austin and Dallas.
I stopped here to check it out because my mom loves Jib and Diana s show, it s cute and definitely worth a stop, because of the fact that it was 98 degrees I didn t feel too hungry but if I had I would have gotten something from the multiple food trucks onsite. You can get a whole watermelon blended up right Inside the melon! The lawn games are cute and if you produce exuberant amounts of melanin they could be fun, I do not and had to jump from shade patch to shade patch and still got sunburn in my eyes.
I ended up walking down the street to eat a place called The Stage (I think) and had a lovely conversation with the female bartender who s name I didn t get while treating myself to an NA Heineken and lunch. All in all I would say Waco is a nice place and the locals were friendly, I m not exactly sure how the hell I ended up there and I don t think anyone who lives there knows either.
There is usually a lot more to do but right now several parts are closed for expansion, however I think when they re done with the work it will be even more awesome!
Worth the trip to Waco to check this place out. It was a wonderful experience. You have to get something from the bakery. As far as the general store things were really expensive so if you absolutely have to buy something I recommend going to the original store location since they now use this for overflow or old stock and give a significant discount. There are fun things to walk around and do such as a nice grass patch to lay on, swings to sit on, and just people watch. A must go to if in Waco.
Family had a great day here. Crowded but not too bad to move around.
Chip and Joanna have very successfully put back Waco Tx on the map with the Magnolia Market at the Silos! For all of you HGTV fan of Fixer Upper, like us, you don't want to miss this place if you are in the area. It's a must do! The Silos is a nice family outing where you can shop, enjoy the garden, play with the kids in the play area and have a bite to eat. A variety of food trucks to satisfy everyone taste to enjoy some light lunch and grab a sweet tea served in glass jar as a souvenir! The staff is so welcoming, friendly, helpful and just genuinely happy to be working. While the Magnolia store is very expensive, the food is reasonably priced. AMAZING.
My wife and I drove in from Birmingham Alabama just to go to see the magnolia market on our way to San Antonio. We arrived around 5:40 Saturday afternoon, to be informed that they were closing in 20 minutes, kind of abruptly and rudely.. we didn t feel welcome so we left and of course they were closed on Sunday, I was a fan, but no longer.
I loved Magnolia Market and the Silos. It was all so inspiring.
Currently lots of construction. However when it's done we will need to come back. I was hoping to find more products produced here in the U. S. We found a few things which we purchased along with a bag made in Bangladesh.
High prices. Not the type of merchandise I expected. Friendly staff.
Magnolia splendor and class with Dr. PEPPER a block away? The coolest place. PEPPER museum was closed, unfortunately. Magnolia Market was above and beyond what I expected. Fan of the show and the whole property and atmosphere compliment Chip and Jo's laid back welcoming vibes! Cupcakes are to die for!
Magnolia Marketplace is everything I expected it to be. The merchandise is tastefully displayed and there is a good variety of items to take home as gifts or to indulge yourself!
Really enjoyed this place.... Joanna is such a Hugh inspiration and to go there was my dream. Everything was beyond what I expected, she keeps things affordable and the staff was extremely helpful, plentiful and friendly. Ate off a couple of food trucks (new for me) super delicious. The lines are long but move quickly, a popular place always has long lines...so expected. Love all the small touches thank you cards and boutique style bags. Will go again and again, Thanks for a great day.
Was glad we visited, seemed to be a bit too commercialized. Expensive products made in China
We enjoyed visiting checking out the beautiful gifts on display for purchase.
I would give less stars if I could! Ridiculous wait with rude people in line for over priced merchandise!
Fun place to visit. Had to get cupcakes at the bakery while there. They were delish. Beautiful decor and atmosphere.
Awesome!! Love those Lavender Lrmon cupcakes. They are the bomb!
Loved my visit to the silos. Not too crowded. I was able to ship my treasures back to Florida with free shipping. One suggestion...enlarge the bakery. Couldn't get in lines to long. Really disappointed at that. Otherwise 5 stars Chip and Joanna!!
Great place to visit. Workers are all friendly and helpful. Everything is clean - including the restrooms. It is all very classy and decorated so nice.
It was very crowded and smaller space with less products than we expected. The candles were over priced. I don't normally care if something is slightly over priced, but they were very over priced (so I didn't buy those). Still spent over $200 on a few items though.
Big deal,$ 26 for a hat made in China, coffee mugs made in China for $ 15. Tourist trap!
My family and I stopped here while on vacation. I am a HUGE fan of the Gaines. We spent a couple of hours here. I shopped and the kids and my husband went to the courtyard and played various games they had available. We had a really great time! We hope the Lord continues to bless them and their business.
Always a great time. Really neat place to check out.
