SDL Real Estate Review

I am very happy with the SDL team. They promptly tended to our service requests and were very fair with returning our security deposit.

I started looking for a new management company and was shocked to see all the stars for SDL. I know these are phony reviews. I was with this company for 1 miserable year. There prices are too high, they refuse to hold the security deposit because they want the owner to get sued if there is a dispute over the deposit, they gouge their clients on repair costs and they have all sorts of fees that other companies don't have. I thought the customer service was terrible. When I left, I got to meet the tenant and the tenant also complained about the company. I am currently searching for a new management company and this time I will be much more careful about who I choose.

I have had no problems at all trying to get in contact with them. Whenever I need something done, they are very quick to respond and fix the problem. ALWAYS professional and polite.

I appreciate how they're always on top of things. Very thankful that they are representing me. Wonderful group of people!

This company appears to be a scam. They ask for money to reserve a house you would like to rent but will not provide any documents or contracts. They the house magically gets rented and your reserve money disappears. Avoid at all cost

Our experience with SDL was REALLY good and this review spans TWO years of service! Since the beginning the had a business-like approach to the whole process that I loved straight and to the point and without fluff. We rented a property that they managed and the entire process was super smooth, quick, and professional. The owner of the property gave us our second year contract without raising the cost for which we are EXTREMELY GRATEFUL: something rare to come by these days! Dave was super nice and helped us a lot towards the end of our lease and we are also grateful for that! When I understand each property and lease is different, I completely recommend SDL if you are looking for a reliable, serious, and generous company to deal with in the Temecula and Murrieta area. I own 3 properties in Temecula but am absentee since I live so far away. I have trusted SDL with all aspects of my properties for a while now. They advertise, screen prospective tenants and keep units occupied, handle repairs and maintenance, and provide me with detailed accounting reports. Their staff is always available when needed and very courteous too. My experience with everything there has been excellent.

I have worked with this company on both a professional and personal level and I would hands down recommend them to anyone. They are professional, courteous and very responsive at getting their tenants taken care of. Dawn was my go to girl and now that she is gone Nicolle has done an amazing job at taking over and can help assist you with anything you need. So if you're looking for a property management to work with as a landlord, tenant or even contractor this is the company to go to!!!

Great Temecula property management. They have always had my best interest in mind when making decisions. I've been very happy with them.

Their application process is so easy. This is the first time I've rented where I didn't feel like the company was looking down on me because I'm just renting. I love that their staff is so friendly too!

SDL Real Estate and Property Management is a great company, I was with them for 2 1/2 years before I was able to purchase my own home. When I was looking for a place to rent, I went to a number of properties and none of them looked as good as the ones under SDL. They made sure that their properties were up-to-date, clean and ready for move in where the incoming tenant didn't have to do a thing except move in. If there was ever an issue, all I did was put in a maintenance request and I was typically called that day or the next day and it was fixed (I only had a few items the entire time I was there). The people there were great, the house I rented was wonderful, I enjoyed my time there and was very grateful to have done it through SDL Real Estate & Property Management Company. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

SDL has a great follow through with me as a longtime client. They have not let me or my properly down over the course f the 4 and a half years they have even working for me. Thank you for all that you do, it does not go unappreciated.

Great Management Company. I worked with SDL for a long time and they helped me turn my rental property around. It sat vacant for months under my former management company, and they managed to rent it out during the first week under them. I should have made the switch sooner. As an out of town owner - their hands on day to day attention was greatly appreciated. They were honest and hard working.

This agency should NOT be managing anything. From the minute we left our property in the hands of these people, it has been nothing but a hassle. They cost us money, time, and LOTS of stress. I fired them today, and it is the best I have felt since I dropped off my keys at their office 5 months ago.

I may buy another house just to have them manage it! They have been a pleasure to work with. I can trust in their competence.

We were tenants for over a year and SDL was very responsive to the few problems we had with the property. They refunded out entire deposit after we moved out. I did thoroughly clean the home before leaving as this is part of the initial agreement in the lease. Overall we had a very positive experience with SDL.

The new property that we came to own through some unfortunate family circumstances was out of our are and taking care of it was unrealistic for us. We chose this property manager after some research in the area. They seemed to be the most capable. They have done a great job and we are very satisfied with how they are taking care of the home.
