It's a walking tour of Dayton History. You can spend hours at the displays or take a briefer overview; there are lots of photo ops. During Holiday season, the buildings and bridge and pathways are covered in lights amid upended until late with hot cider and hot chocolate, ginger cookies and popcorn. Some is prepared over an open fire for historical perspective. It was greatly enjoyed by the family.

Visiting from Oregon and love how they keep everything furnished and period. The staff was very friendly and informative and would walk and talk with you. Printing presses are still in use and you can buy gifts that they print on! Very cool!

Free historical park that has lots of things to go through and look at. A ton of neat buildings that take you back through Dayton's Historical background and history back into the 1900's.

I visited this park several times 2 years ago, by myself and with elderly friends. It is amazing how much history has been brought to one spot. I continue to recommend it. The print shop, vehicles, cash registers, and visual history of the flood were outstanding memories and very well presented! The park itself is pleasant. (The restaurants were great idea.) I had a person in a wheel chair with me twice, and almost all of the exhibits were do-able with them.)

Great place to learn some history of Dayton and the Miami Valley.

Beautiful grounds, excellent displays. The small train ride in the back was a lot of fun and you get a surprisingly good long ride on it --- meant for kids most likely but it was also fun for adults.

You can learn about the inventors and inventions from the Dayton area and even see the 3rd Wright Flyer (yes the actual one) which was the first manueverable flyer. I also like the story of the photo of the first flight and the camera is there. You will also learn about so much else that was created here... that you should go check it out.

We had a great time at the park itself. It was much bigger than I had imagined. Not only was it a nice outdoor / indoor experience but it was also very educational. We also ate at the brewery which I think was a little overpriced.

We went for the Christmas lights and dinner. We really enjoyed the museum and the food at the brewing company was excellent. I held the fifth star because the museum should really be done in daylight to fully appreciate it and the restaurant was slow because of the volume of people at the holiday.

Awesome park with lots of exhibits. The bald eagles have babies right now. There a ton to do and learn there. The family pass is very reasonably priced if you think you would go back a second time or more.

Beautiful lighting display. Brewery personnel very friendly and knowledgeable. Although the beer selection (brewed on premises) is rather limited at this time, everything I had was very tasty. And the Bier Cheese soup is out of this world!

Our family decided to venture out to downtown Dayton tonight to curb the craving that we were having for Old Scratch Pizza

On our way home, we decided to stop by Carillon Historical Park to check out the lights.

I m really glad that we decided to stop by. This was my first time walking around this local historical venue. I had no idea how much history had been made right in Dayton, OHIO!

The lights were fantastic, the hot chocolate was delicious and we were very happy with the pictures! But the best part of the night was hanging with my two favorite people in the entire world!

Great place to visit, especially during events. I hear that the John Patterson has great dimples. They also have a nest of bald eagles, if you are lucky the eagles might be at war with the hawks that day. Also, I saw a cute mouse there, and its pretty great for wedding photos.

Carillon Historical Park is a great place to go to learn about the rich history of Dayton, Ohio. There is so much to learn, so you could go more than one time and still not see everything there is to see. There are also a pair of bald eagles that have taken up residence at the park which is pretty cool. A family membership is very affordable and definitely worth the money. You won t be disappointed.
