It's a nice park. Lots of trees so take allergy meds beforehand. There is a lot of Dayton history in the museum.

Great historical site, nicely decorated for the holidays, well worth the visit.
Pretty cool park with museum exhibits. They have old preserved buildings, trains, buses--all the sort of stuff you expect from an outdoor museum like this, but they actually had a Wright brothers flying machine which I wasn't expecting and thought was pretty cool. I thought the $10 admission was a little steep until I knew they had that.
Stopped for late lunch and loved the place. It's a middle to late 1800s brewery and pub and they make the beer and bread like they did in the 1800s. The food was very good, service was fast and friendly.
One of the best "museums" I have visited. Loved the price, organization of information that connects multiple time periods into a cohesive story, and the professionalism of the staff. My family loved learning about the many ways Daytonians had impact on America. Definitely a must see when you are in Dayton.
At Carillion Brewery service was great and the food was outstanding. Wonderful place to relax after a day of errands or to meet friends and spend quiet time together.
It's better to hang ever...love the new Culp's Cafe...good food and decor. The dining car seating is so dramatic!
The new entrance really draws people in right away!
Sus and I visited today. Great history lessons. Got to remember a lot of Dayton history that I had forgotten. Then we went to Carillion Brewery for beers and food.
Good food and GREAT beer. I had the Schnitzel on a bun with German potato salad. Tried a Roasted Beet beer too. I will go back.
Another "Gem" in the Gem city!! What a rich history we have. Worth a visit
So much to see if you like history this is your place. Easy to spend all day here.
Wonderful... Take the time to visit with the love in your life.
Great place to spend some time and learn things you never knew about Dayton and NCR.
Just like an old fashioned Christmas!!! Very peaceful and relaxing too!!!
This place is super cool! Good food, great beer, amazing atmosphere!!
A must-see for visitors to Dayton. This is a historical park that you walk through. There is a miniature train, and a historical carousel, school house ,tavern, trolley, train, canal lock, Wright Brothets plane and bike shop and so much more. It is a very pleasant park to walk through and enjoy the outdoors
It is a nice museum where you can get to know all the history of Dayton.
Fun day date if you are not from Dayton and need a little something different to do!
The park is really relaxing. The great Miami River is right next to it. There has been a bald eagle hanging around the area which has been cool to see along the river. I have not been to the brewery yet, but it looks promising!
First time visiting Carillon Park for their Christmas walk. It was so much fun! Loved the live music, lights, gingerbread, and puppet show!
Such a great place... I enjoyed it as a kid and it has had so many improvements. My 4 yr old really enjoyed it too.
A great park with a cross section of American history. Whether old stagecoaches, locos, planes to cash registers, it's all very interesting
Great history a great place to take the family and spend the day.
Wonderful collection of Dayton's history in one place.
First time going for the Carillon Christmas. Absolutely beautiful and rich in Dayton history. The volunteers are informative and so friendly. We'll be back!
I've heard of this place for quite a while...Absolutely loved it. Plan on coming early and staying all day. So much to absorb.
Nice place to visit, especially during Christmas, lights makes the ambiance beautiful
Awesome experience. I had no idea this place existed and I'm ready to go back!! Great experience for the whole family.
Great place for kids and adults anytime of the year. Amazing gift shop. If you go.in the spring and summer, make sure you wear bug repellent.
The parking kind of stinks but the view is gorgeous.
Great place to visit. Good price. Get your money's worth.
If you haven't been here you should go. Their Great leadership team has created a special place than now has become a family tradition for our Christmas holiday
Love this place. We have had a membership for years and now we buy grandparent pass for Christmas gifts every year:)
Visited for light up Carillon, and it was definitely worth our time. Very well maintained and clean park.
What a beautiful place and so many wonderful museums and the staff is so very helpful and very informative.
Very neat experience, extremely helpful and kind staff.
Great place to take family or friends that are visiting. Lots of great history and very enjoyable.
So much to see. A great way to spend 3 or 4 hours. Also offered is a bus ride to your Hawthorne Hill, the Wright Brothers mansion.
Lot of historical items good place to learn about Wright brothers
I loved the ambiance of this place! Food was great and the ales were delicious! Fast service. Was a little disappointed that they were out of Cream Soda and peanut butter cheesecake! But definitely will be coming back soon!
A lot of history to be learned about here. I learned a lot of things I didn't know happened in the Dayton area until I visited here. Went here for the rail festival and was pleasantly surprised by how much was at the historical park. Price of admission wasn't bad at $10/adult and free for children under 3. Definitely coming back.
They have great food & it's always fresh & hot. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with Swiss cheese & it was great. I really like this place.
Great place can't wait to see it again. Bought a yearly pass.

We went through the whole entire muesam and nobody told me I had to pay for it. When we went to get tokens for the ride my son was so disappointed because you told us we had to pay all this mone
Nice place to hang out, go to one of there two restaurants or visit the historical museums.. great place to bring visitors
Came to this park for a wedding reception, it was absolutely beautiful. Very interesting for people of all ages! Being able to walk through the old train cars was a great highlight, they were so elegant and fun. 10/10 would recommend coming for a fun outing, and would highly recommend it for a wedding reception or event!
Super cool brewery - old method, wood fire, super interesting experience!
Beautiful park! Saw the eagles flying and went to the carillon brewery for some 1850s food and beer.
Dayton's Carillon park sure has great reasons to brag about the brilliantly talented inventors of the area. National Cash Register, Wright Brothers Bikes and Flight, Auto improvements and Rail/Train improvements. I cant help but be impressed with the creativity born in Dayton, Ohio.
Whether you like the Wright brothers, or like to hear about inventions that have come out of Dayton, Ohio, this is a must for you and your family. Many fascinating things to see and to read and learn.
Prices are not too bad, and if you live near by, you can get a year's membership for the family for less than what 3 visits would cost.
The volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable about each display.
They also have special events throughout the year and have children's events too.
If you like history and to see things from the past, you will definitely like coming here.
Great place for learning Dayton history. The grounds are beautiful and the exhibits immaculate. Perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in Dayton
Cool local history. The kids loved it, very unique museum. Ate and drank at the brewery and would highly recommend it
Really nice place. I been working there for a little bit helping to build on! The food at the Brewery is great! Alot of nice things to see! Makes a great day to just spend the day with the family!
Carillon park is a a must see, full of local history in a variety of categories so there is something for everyone. They have the original 1905 Wright Flyer III, Orville Wright himself helped to put the flyer back together and it is using a large amount of original parts, he also helped design the viewing area. In addition to history on the Wright Brothers, there is also the first and last truck off the line from GM's Moraine Assembly. There is also a viewing of figures (animatronics) from Dayton history discussing so you can see how they were connected to each other. You will also learn many unique inventions from Dayton ones you never even probably thought about not having existed such as tabs on pop cans, in addition to a lot of automotive innovations such as the electric self starter. The cash register was also a Dayton invention along with many more things. I highly recommend visiting. Also Google Dayton inventions you'll be shocked how many there are. At Carillon Park there is also Culp's Cafe a retro style diner as well as Carillon Park Brewing Company, even if you don't like beer or don't want dinner (the food is excellent though) take a peek in and check out the brewery, it's a historical brewery and they use 1800's methods.
I find this park very interesting. One of the places I would like to know.
Love this place ! Wish it did not have to be so highly priced I REMEMBERED THE TIME.IT WAS FREE !!
