Pretty cool park with museum exhibits. They have old preserved buildings, trains, buses--all the sort of stuff you expect from an outdoor museum like this, but they actually had a Wright brothers flying machine which I wasn't expecting and thought was pretty cool. I thought the $10 admission was a little steep until I knew they had that.

Stopped for late lunch and loved the place. It's a middle to late 1800s brewery and pub and they make the beer and bread like they did in the 1800s. The food was very good, service was fast and friendly.

One of the best "museums" I have visited. Loved the price, organization of information that connects multiple time periods into a cohesive story, and the professionalism of the staff. My family loved learning about the many ways Daytonians had impact on America. Definitely a must see when you are in Dayton.

A must-see for visitors to Dayton. This is a historical park that you walk through. There is a miniature train, and a historical carousel, school house ,tavern, trolley, train, canal lock, Wright Brothets plane and bike shop and so much more. It is a very pleasant park to walk through and enjoy the outdoors

The park is really relaxing. The great Miami River is right next to it. There has been a bald eagle hanging around the area which has been cool to see along the river. I have not been to the brewery yet, but it looks promising!

I loved the ambiance of this place! Food was great and the ales were delicious! Fast service. Was a little disappointed that they were out of Cream Soda and peanut butter cheesecake! But definitely will be coming back soon!

A lot of history to be learned about here. I learned a lot of things I didn't know happened in the Dayton area until I visited here. Went here for the rail festival and was pleasantly surprised by how much was at the historical park. Price of admission wasn't bad at $10/adult and free for children under 3. Definitely coming back.

Being able to walk through the old train cars was a great highlight, they were so elegant and fun. 10/10 would recommend coming for a fun outing, and would highly recommend it for a wedding reception or event!

Dayton's Carillon park sure has great reasons to brag about the brilliantly talented inventors of the area. National Cash Register, Wright Brothers Bikes and Flight, Auto improvements and Rail/Train improvements. I cant help but be impressed with the creativity born in Dayton, Ohio.

Whether you like the Wright brothers, or like to hear about inventions that have come out of Dayton, Ohio, this is a must for you and your family. Many fascinating things to see and to read and learn.
Prices are not too bad, and if you live near by, you can get a year's membership for the family for less than what 3 visits would cost.
The volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable about each display.
They also have special events throughout the year and have children's events too.
If you like history and to see things from the past, you will definitely like coming here.

Carillon park is a a must see, full of local history in a variety of categories so there is something for everyone. They have the original 1905 Wright Flyer III, Orville Wright himself helped to put the flyer back together and it is using a large amount of original parts, he also helped design the viewing area. In addition to history on the Wright Brothers, there is also the first and last truck off the line from GM's Moraine Assembly. There is also a viewing of figures (animatronics) from Dayton history discussing so you can see how they were connected to each other. You will also learn many unique inventions from Dayton ones you never even probably thought about not having existed such as tabs on pop cans, in addition to a lot of automotive innovations such as the electric self starter. The cash register was also a Dayton invention along with many more things. I highly recommend visiting. Also Google Dayton inventions you'll be shocked how many there are. At Carillon Park there is also Culp's Cafe a retro style diner as well as Carillon Park Brewing Company, even if you don't like beer or don't want dinner (the food is excellent though) take a peek in and check out the brewery, it's a historical brewery and they use 1800's methods.
