We had such an enjoyable time! Strolling back in time was educational as well as fun. The 1913 flood exhibit was really realistic; you can really put yourself in their shoes. I enjoyed talking about competitors of the Wright brother's competitors from Montra in Shelby County, the Korn brothers.
Very interesting place, definitely worth the $8 to get in. My favorite exhibit was seeing all the Dayton inventors over the course of history. Thing like the cash register, spark-less electrical motor, and of course the airplane. There were countless other inventions from the local area they had exhibits on. They also have the original Wright Brothers plane on display.
Very beautiful, relatively accessible, and the 50s themed cafe is wonderful.
