I was looking to replace my recently totaled car and Jason was extremely helpful in the process. He went above and beyond to find me a close dupe to replace my car by bringing a car in from southern Illinois. Will definitely use them in the future and refer anyone in the market for a Toyota.

***UPDATE*** Went in for some recalls for my Toyota Coralla, which I bought from David Bruce in 2012. Service Writer Steve who helped me doesn't seem like he wants to be there. He didn't even explain the recalls to me. For a broken plastic A.C. knob it would cost $455.00, this is because you have to buy a entire new assembly. The most disappointing thing about this experience is the next day I had a new radio installed by Best Buy, their geek squad fixed my A.C. knob with no questions asked while they installed my radio. (no charge) I was so grateful and surprised. This also shows me that the David Bruce Service team didn't even look at the issue and just wanted to charge me for a whole new assembly. Please explain this to me David Bruce? Does your service team even focus on customer care? My mileage is just over 115,000 miles and they didn't even recommend a belt replacement, which is due, based on the Toyota Manuel. I guess the attitude is get the customer in and out without even inspecting the car and giving recommendations. I really wanted to spend my money with David Bruce since they specialize in Toyota car care. I choose to go to Menike the next week for my belt replacement.

If I could give a 10 star, wouldn t hesitate to do so! My husband needed a new truck for work and we saw a truck for a good deal on a website. We called the dealership and Dave answered and attended me the first time. I called and asked if he could send us a picture of the truck of close ups before we drive a hour and a half to see it and he went above and beyond with a video showing details of the truck.. we decided to go check it out and we were attended by Jason, awesome customer service, we didn t feel pressured at all. He was super friendly about everything and attentive. My husband and I have never had such a great experience with purchasing a vehicle... very thankful for Jason and Dave for making our experience great! My husband loves his new truck! We don t regret not one bit driving a hour and a half and 2 hours back! Thank you!

The sales professionals at David Bruce made my buying experience a pleasure. Jeff Moss and Dave Sosnowski were able to order the exact Tundra I was looking for. There are several Toyota dealers closer to my home..but I chose to purchase my new Tundra at this dealership because of the friendly and up front manner in which I was treated. I felt I got a really good deal as well! Their service dept. has also been awesome to deal with! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone looking for a "painless/hassle free" car buying experience to check out David Bruce!

I will recommend David Bruce's to everyone. I absolutely love my 4runner. My dilemma started when I undertook the mechanical task much out of my league. Been changing my oil for nine years and made the worst rookie mistake, transmission drain instead of engine oil. That gut wrenching feeling took over, and for a moment i thought I lost my vehicle. Luckily Pete in the mechanical service department fixed my 4runner. I owe him big time. Jackie also in service department is extremely professional, friendly and helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot when I confessed my error. This service department of Toyota's is probably the best in the midwest. I have been to a few others over the years and will say hands down the best mechanics and absolutely the best staff. Now I'm hoping to get 300k more miles on my 4runner, but when she goes, David Bruce's will be the only place I purchase another vehicle. Thanks again, we are customers for life

I contacted David Bruce on line, and they got back to me right away. I spoke to Janelle, she was very friendly and helpful. She informed me they had exactly what I was looking for. I Traded in my 2008 Subaru Tribeca, was very pleased with the process. I got a 2013 Toyota Prius. I have driven it for a couple days now and just love the gas mileage I get with it. Janelle even helped me set up Bluetooth to my phone and showed me around the workings of the car. I have bought a lot of vehicles in my lifetime, the experience at David Bruce was the best experience I had buying a car. Thank you, Janelle and the crew for making my experience a pleasant one. I will buy again from you when the time comes, and I will highly recommend you for any one looking to buy a vehicle.

Great place to buy a car!! Sales and management are more than willing to do what they can to get you on the road. The dealership was very clean, the staff was nice and their inventory was impressive. The salesperson who sold me my SUV (Rob Reus) was polite, knowledgeable and not pushy. Rob made the process comfortable and FUN.

Yet another "painless" experience at David Bruce!

This is the third time we have purchased new vehicles from Tony Malzone at this dealership and frankly, wouldn't go anywhere else. All three times Tony has treated with respect and patience. We never felt pressured to buy anything we were not already interested in. The prices are very good and the trade-in value fair. I've brought in my car previously for service and have also been pleasantly surprised at the customer care they provided to me.

I told Tony if he ever is planning on retiring, give us a call so we can go and buy one more car from him :-)

Keep it up David Bruce Toyota Cadillac ....you're doing something right!

We bought a Tacoma from David Bruce Toyota 3 years...

We bought a Tacoma from David Bruce Toyota 3 years ago, and just bought a Prius-c one month ago, using the same dealer for both purchases. David Sosnowski made the whole process the most pain-free vehicle purchase I have ever made. The price was outstanding and haggle-free (which I personally appreciate). I felt no pressure to buy.

The post-sales follow-up was also what impressed me. Throughout the last three years, Dave has kept in casual contact, usually by sending a birthday greeting - not enough to be annoying, but enough to let you know the relationship is still there. When I called 3 years later, Dave answered the call with my first name before I said anything (no - not caller ID, he must manually put the number of all his clients in his phone). Little touches like that show that Dave cares about his clients even after the sales papers are signed. I was impressed enough that the next time we buy a Toyota, Dave will be the first person I call.

Me and my father came in looking at a lexus sedan. We had no intent on buying today. The dealer jay schelke was extremely helpfull with looking at different models. We ended up looking at a rav4, and we were totally impressed with his help and telling us the difference in a lexus and a toyota. We ended up with the rav4. Of all the experiences I have had with car dealers Kavere Louis was by far the best. He was kind and a joy to deal with. He was patient with all our questions and we never felt like we where being rushed into our purchase. I would recommend him to anyone. Dave was great and quick with getting all the paper work done and as well really took the time to answer our questions. The manager was also great

We came in for an oil change and ended up buying a beautiful car. We dealt with Kyle White, Rob Reus and Tony Malzone. All were very cooperative, friendly and helpful. Kyle was a newbie at the dealership but was very knowledgeable and what he was missing in the sale Rob was there to fill him in. As for Tony he volunteered to give us a ride home because we sold our car and no transportation home.
We would like to give a special kudos to Kyle and Rob for their superior efforts helping us buy the car. They went above and beyond without pressuring us. Most of the time when you go to a car dealer it seems like you are pressured. Not here. We felt like family.
Glad we chose David Bruce as there was not one employee there that didn't make you feel comfortable.

I recently purchased a new Toyota FJ Cruiser I spotted on Auto Trader. I worked with Dave Sosnowski, and the service dept. From start to completion of the sale it was the most positive experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. Dave and the entire staff we're professional in every way, very personable, and extremely accommodating of every request. They contacted me when needed to be sure everything would be done correctly the first time. Dave also took the time to be sure the systems in my FJ were configured before I left the lot. We had the best David Bruce experience. We've owned Saturns for years and didn't think we could find another company that we could trust. We did! We loved Jason, Bruce and now Toyotas. They made buying a car enjoyable.

Had the best experience I ve ever had at a dealership. Tony Malzone was our salesman and he was amazing and not at all pushy. The sales managers were extremely helpful. We purchased a 2020 4 Runner and we couldn t be happier with it. We will definitely come back if we decide to upgrade our ride in the future.

Recently bought a 2013 Toyota Highlander from them. All in all the process for very smooth. Worked with Mike in sales who was great and David in Financial department was great as well. EPCOT the joke that elderly people come out tired is true but I think the E could stand for everyone. This park is so large. It has great rides and attractions. The Starbucks on property should have a wait cue telling you how long it'll take to get your coffee. The countries are great. Soarin, Test Track, and the others are wonderful. Be sure to thank the Phoenicians for being able to read this!

My wife and I drove to this location from the Chicago area to test drive a 2011 Ford Escape that we'd found online listed for a few dollars under 10K. I will say that all the staff were very nice, and no one was pushy or rude.

It took about ten minutes for them to bring the car to the front, and my wife and I drove the car about two miles around a nearby neighborhood. The first we noticed upon getting into the car was that it was dirty. The carpet had debris in it, there was dust in the car, and there were white marks on the console and other hard surfaces, as though there had been paint transfer or something. However, the car did drive well, so we figured they would detail if we bought it.

When we got back to the dealership, we walked around the outside of the car. We noticed right away that there was heavy rust on the metal cylinders behind the hubcaps, and when my wife touched it, it flaked. There also appeared to be significant rust on the tailpipe and other areas around the tires. My wife pointed out to the salesman that she has a 2005 Escape (parked next to this SUV) and does not have rust behind the tires, and the salesman did not have an explanation for that.

Then my wife asked to pop the hood. The car was still radiating heat even though it was about 70F out and it had been sitting, off, for 15 minutes. The engine looked good, but when my wife put her hand on the bumper to peer into the engine area...the left side of the bumper fell off. I pointed this out to the salesman and asked if it was supposed to just come loose like that, and he said that it seemed that the clips were worn.

I know that they're a Toyota dealership and this is a Ford. However, I have purchased used cars from different-brand dealerships, and the cars have always appeared clean, with body condition proportionate to price. That was not a 10K car. It was wildly overpriced for what it was.

So, if you're going to buy a used car here, check it over very thoroughly. Make sure the body is in good condition. Make sure the bumper is attached (which you'd think the dealership would do prior to listing the car, but I guess not) and it's not rusted out in hard-to-see places. If we had bought based on how well it drove, we would have made a huge mistake.

When we told them we would not be taking the car, they tried to get us to check out another similar Escape, but at that point we felt like if they felt the car we drove was worth 10K, we weren't about to look at other cars. This was not a hard sell, though, and as I said, all the employees were very courteous. However, since we visited a month ago, I have gotten about a dozen calls from them regarding the car, which I do not appreciate.

Jason Connor is an exceptional sales consultant (no dealership gimmicks) and a tough negotiator. My wife and I have nothing but respect for Jason after reflecting on our experience. We made it to the dealership by 2 pm and left by about 6 pm in time to have dinner at Brickstone to celebrate. The finance department and Todd Zummallen was very efficient and helpful. A guy named Dave got us some water as we waited for Jason early on to test drive the Highlander.

Picked up my 2013 F150 Friday June 15, I live in NC so I bought it sight unseen except for pictures. I relied on David Bruce reputation and reviews and I was not disappointed. The truck is like new and I couldnt be happier, thanks to Austin my salesman and the guys at David Bruce. I will be driving back to NC a happy man with a smile on my face. Sold me a decent used Mitsubishi Endeavor for a go...

Sold me a decent used Mitsubishi Endeavor for a good price but after getting home and driving more there is a suspension noise that I am getting. It was not present at time of test drive. I have emailed and texted him but no reply.

Update after a week, was hearing noises in suspension and took to two auto places where I was told car need sway bar links and bushing, they split the costs with me and provided great service. Good place and Dave is a great guy to work with.

They sold me a car with the incorrect key! I was able to drive using the fob but I'm currently locked out of my car (bad fuse or something electrical so the fob suddenly won't register, despite new fob batteries) and the manual key to open the door is for a different Prius so I am completely stranded in a foreign state over the holidays and can't get into my vehicle! This is a horrible mistake on their part that needs fixed ASAP.

To explain... I am located in rural West Virginia but really wanted a Prius V... which is certainly not a common vehicle to find around here. I literally searched the entire country and the deals were in the Chicago area. The absolute best deal I could find was at David Bruce so I contacted them. Purchasing a car long distance is not an easy task, especially when your bank has hiccups and you can't get time off work to come pickup the car. Many other dealerships didn't want to deal with the headache... and I'm glad they didn't.

Long story short, Dave Sosnowski (and Matt) made it work for me and was VEEERY patient. I had two random days off and rode the Amtrak overnight without giving him much heads up. They had an older gentleman pick me up from the train station downtown Chicago and bring me to the dealership where the process was surprisingly simple and laid-back. The car had a little issue during the 10 hour drive back home to West Virginia and they even paid for that repair.
... This was such an amazing experience. No matter where I am in the country, I will be purchasing all of my future vehicles from them. Not only did I get the best price for a nearly new Prius but their customer service was the type where you wonder what you can do for them in return for all of their help... and that's the reason I'm writing this review. I'm a medical student worked to the bone and never take the time for myself, much less to sit down and write reviews... but I felt it was necessary as a "thank you" to them and as a service to anyone looking for an honest car dealership.

We had a wonderful experience buying our used GMC Sierra from David Bruce. They were so patient with us, even though we had to do our shopping with our 18 month old! Janelle was our sales person and was very helpful without being pushy. Dave worked hard to get the best deal on financing he could. Very nice people to deal with.

Terrible customer service over the phone. Today 1/23/19 I called and the girl who answered didn t even know how to answer my question as to WHY I recieved a mailer from the dealership considering I haven t even lived in town for years, and why they sent me a card saying I won a car (obvi not true) well she sent me to someone s voicemail probably knowingly sent it to me, then I called again and a man answered and he was so rude, he told me to just throw the mailer away and almost proceeded to hang up on me, Didn t even sound exciting, I was calling to maybe gain more info and possible be a future customer but because both times I called to inquire about the mailer, it was terrible. if you are going to send mailers out, make sure the sales team is all on board so I don t have to play phone tag and get talked to like I m idiot. I would love it if you guys wouldn t send me this stuff. Thank you. As I do the same stuff at the dealership I work for as well, we get people in all the time just to run there credit so please stop. Take my address out of your CRM !

Dave took extra time out of his day to explain to me, a first time New Car buyer, all the ins and outs! Dave helped me feel gain knowledge and make my experience much more enjoyable!! He gave me his cell phone number during the decision making process and we have remained in touch to this day over 2-weeks after the purchase!! Great Sales Man, Great Dealership, Great Experience! I had a great experience when I purchased my Sienna from David Bruce in February. Keith Wright was my salesman and was very helpful and friendly. I still email him with questions that arise, like when my Service Indicator light came on. I took my van back to David Bruce today for routine service, even though there are other Toyota dealers closer to me, and I am glad I did. Their team is top-notch. They explained everything. They understood my time was valuable; since I drove an hour. And they gave me a free wash! I will always go back to David Bruce!

The dealership, and Dave in particular, provided clear and constant communication and even took the car to a local shop to have the windows tinted per my request. Worst experience at a Toyota dealer! Went in and negotiated a good price for truck. They didn t have the truck I wanted and was promised they could have it delivered to me by Tuesday and no later than Thursday. Monday comes around and no one follows up with me. I called the sales guy and he tells me they found 1truck several hundred miles away and working on getting the car delivered. Tuesday comes around still no one calls me and again I call them. I was told the same thing. Thursday comes around no has called me yet. The sales guy is off so I speak yo the sales manager who tells me the same thing and ask if I still want the car? They already took my down payment and we already signed the sales paper! If they had no intention of delivering on their promise they should never have taken my money or given me the offer. They ve lost a customer and I plan on posting on more social media about this terrible experience I ve had with David Bruce Toyota.

I've only dealt with the parts dept. As far as customer service its stellar. The reason I knocked a star off is sometimes I'll call and get a part # other times they wont give it to me. Employees have to abide by company rules I get it, but I can call any other Toyota dealership and they'll give me the info. The part # can also easily be obtained on toyotas website. If you want to stay competitive dont worry about me comparing your price to online, worry about good customer service, and that begins with transparency.

I called Janelle on Tuesday and within 48 hours, she had found just what we were looking for! We immediately came in to the dealership, did a test drive with Janelle and bought the 2014 Town and Country immediately. Janelle was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant.....a joy to work with. Also, everyone we met at David Bruce was very courteous and upbeat. My Wife and myself were looking for a used car. We wanted to buy from a dealer over private party for the piece of mind concerning hidden mechanical problems. We stopped by David Bruce Auto and found a clean Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Tony Malzone helped us by taking us for a test drive, supplying us with a carfax, and informing us on the work that was done to it when they received it. The car had the correct maintenance done to it for a vehicle with that mileage. Plus other small things that made it perfect for us.

Tony Malzone was very personable, honest, and provided us with a ZERO PRESSURE experience. Tony took me through and introduced me to the sales and service team and I must say what a great bunch of people. I was greeted with smiles, handshakes, and a feeling that the customer does really matters. Nowadays that is something that really makes you feel special.
I took possession of the Mitsubishi with no problems and a feeling that I got a great car.

I can't say enough about Tony Malzone... That's how a auto salesman should be. He was honest, very knowledgeable, and all around great guy.There were no typical auto salesman antics to drive the price up or pressure to buy.
I have bought a lot of cars in my life and this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had...Period!

I love my pruis, but the one I was sold was not wo...

I love my pruis, but the one I was sold was not worth the price. After buying, I didnt notice that there was barely any oil in the car and almost made the engine lock. There was damage to the inside frame of the doors, and the back seats seatbelts sometimes refused to lock. Plus my dealer said the Wipers were new, they were not new. I love Toyota's but this dealership were cheap.

I've never been treated more like family then at David Bruce. All the people there are so kind, caring & compassionate. They really care about you and go above and beyond to take care of you. I travelled from Pennsylvania to buy a Certified Preowned Toyota Camry Hybrid SE from David Bruce Toyota in October, 2015.

I would like to say that from start to finish my experience in working with Dave Sosnowski has been excellent right from arranging to pick me from the train station in Chicago till I completed the purchase by patiently answering my questions.

Dave also gave great followup support by arranging to get me new set of keys as the car had a blank keys.

Dave is a Honest Sales person and I would strongly recommend him to any one who wants to purchase a new / used car

This is my sixth vehicle that I have purchased from this dealership (way back when it was located in Kankakee and now in Bourbonnais). The service is excellent and the experience is unique compared to the other dealers that I have experience with. Equally, the service department and its personnel are excellent and very helpful. I have been to the Downers Grove Cadillac for services before going to you guys, and I like how everyone at David Bruce treats their customers which is one of the reasons I continue to return to David Bruce. Plus with my crazy schedule you were able to accommodate my needs when possible. Especially this last time being short notice.
