This church feeds the homeless every time they need to eat

Being part of Journey Church was a wonderful experience and now joined with Calvary our blessings have multiplied. I came only to visit but now I am a member. God bless us all. Come visit, come and be blessed and not judged.

Wonderful Church great teachings and Holy Spirit filled Music! I do wish the Pastor would please give alter calls.You never know who is there that really needs to make that commitment,or just lay whatever
Burdens down.No judgement .I just think that would definitely be the icing on the cake.

Pastor Mike is a great Bible teacher. The music at the contemporary services (second and third of the day) is quite excellent. The band can really play, and the singers have great voices. We always feel uplifted after a service. The message usually sticks with you too.

Awesome contemporary music everyone is very welcoming and inviting there youth is a good number

They had a free dinner one Monday night and even offered us coats for the kids which was nice.
09/23/219 Since this review, My husband and I have been going to the early morning service and breakfast we also attend the shepherds kitchen on Monday evenings. A few things bother me though. First off , I had seen online that there was a newcomers luncheon and I had My Husband call After their church Service we attended, to see what time it started. When he first called, the first couple times, he was disconnected. He explains afterwards, he said the woman hung up on me like as if she were too busy. This time, He had the woman on speaker phone, and I can tell you exactly what she said! When he asked her name she acted like she did not hear him !he asked, who am I speaking to? he said, I m calling to find out what time the newcomers lunch starts today. She said, Newcomers lunch? I don t know what you re talking about, I haven t heard anything about a newcomers lunch. ! I m sorry can you repeat yourself? He said OK well then maybe it was a new members lunch meeting downstairs. She said there is a weekly starters point class going on upstairs but it is only a meeting, there is no lunch. She said we do feed the homeless, shut ins, and and Poor downstairs on Monday night you re more than welcome to come then since you re looking for free food. I m sorry you must have the wrong number. Then my husband asked if this was d is this summit church? And she said yes but there is no lunch going on she said there s only a starters point class that goes on weekly and you cannot come unless you are registered for the class! She said, usually you would have attended the church and that s only for those who had registered a long time ago. He said, thank you and hung up and then I called right back from a different number. I says, hi can you please tell me what time the newcomers lunch starts? And she says oh yes it started at 12:30 it s in the basement I said , The reason why I ask is because I saw it online but the time wasn t posted. I replied, thank you and hung up the phone and we had five minutes to get there and when we got there we knocked on the door and were invited in , we didn t have to register, and the young gentleman that works in kids corner where we take our kids before Sunday school was real polite to us and gave us a folder in a plate, and we didn t have to register or anything it was very nice but we didn t tell anybody about the rude woman on the phone whos pushing potential churchgoers away!

If you are looking for a church that is friendly and teaches God's word in a way anyone can understand then can to one of the 3 services and be blessed. If you have babies or kids of any age bring them they will have fun learning about God too, and ALL workers/volunteers are background check so you can know we care about your child(ren's) safety.

Have not attended services here but it has a good reputation.
