Darvin is the place to go for the best selection of furniture. I always find what I m looking for and the sales people are so helpful. They leave you alone unless you need them instead of stalking you like some other stores do.

Our salesman Peter Mark was great-not pushy and made good recommendations on fabric type for our furniture! Soleil was fantastic in helping us pick fabric colors and coordinating prints that will work in our room and even helped us with paint colors! Can t wait to get our new furniture!

Rita was the best! Welcoming and very knowledgeable! I purchased a mattress and headboard. I had a price range and I wanted an adjustable base and Rita gave us options and didn t go over. She delivered service within what we asked for. No pressure no gimmicks was a 5 star shopping experience. And got delivery in 4 days. Thank you !!

Purchased two mattress, box springs, bed rails, an...

Purchased two mattress, box springs, bed rails, and two bedroom sets back in July 2016. Not even four years later both mattress were going bad. Contacted Darvin and sent them pics. Due to COVID had to wait for an inspector to come take pics etc. Called Darvin back with 7 business days. There were no follow up calls with me and they did not contact Premier Inspections (they claim Premier did not contact them) and they even said they do not have any notes. Mind you Darvin was paid on-time (financed) no missed payments. I had to file a complaint with the IL Attorney General's Office of Consumer Complaints. It seems they give you the run around and hope you actually go back there to buy more of their "furnishings". After the brief runaround, I did get a call back again any reason not to honor. They do not honor the warranty and will find any reason not to repair or replace. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Currently waiting on the States Attorney to handle.

The salesman left misleading information that I would be picking up item in store. We bought the item then had to drive 15 minutes to a warehouse. Then we had to wait 20 minutes to pick up the item. It took way more time than anticipated. They should have explained this process over the phone.

Our great experience started as we walked into the front entrance of the store. We told our salesman Peter exactly what we were looking for and he directed us into that location. We are highly interested only in items made in the USA and that is all he showed us. We are very impressed with the quality and the very fair price. We would absolutely recommend Darvin furniture to all of our friends and on social media. Many furniture stores have come and gone but Darvin holds their customer service to the highest level and the delivery men are very friendly and respectful of your home. We ordered a mattress and box spring three days before our delivery date of our living room furniture and they were able to add it onto the truck.

Ordered two couches in July 2020. i was told I would have them by end of October 2020, then changed to end of November. When I finally received the order one of the couches was damaged. Was told have to reorder and wait another 12 weeks. They also messed up order with a kitchen table. Won't be ordering from Darvin in the future. Cancelled order. Manager was not willing to work with us for the inconvenience. Will take my business elsewhere.

We went to look at sectionals with a chaise, and Clinton helped us greatly, he pointed us in the right way and let us wander around until we had it down to a few, then he helped us pick the one we loved. He was great because he wasn't pushy and never made us feel rushed (even though it was right before closing).

The selection and pricing are great however nothing we chose is in stock and we understand with the virus it has impacted the suppliers chain. The real issue was the sales associate,she did not have any idea how the merchandise works, took very long time to figure out when we would receive items, and had to call another associate in order to operate a infared fireplace. The whole process took about 3 hours for 2 pieces. I think she would benefit from being retrained.

My experience and review is only based on my experience shopping and not a review on the bed as I do not have my new bed, therefore cannot speak to actual comfort of bed yet.

I Bought a Stearns & Foster euro firm pillow top king mattress at Darvin s in Orland Park, Illinois.
My sales lady was Vivian and she was extremely nice and very patient. One quality that Vivian had vs the other retailers I went to was that she knew her products. Many other retailers that I have been to do not have experienced sales reps and hire young adults and throw them into their jobs (Mattress firm). Vivian was extremely knowledgeable, knew what I wanted and we narrowed beds down quickly to 2 brands. It took me a while to make up my mind because both brands were great. Vivian understood my needs and concerns and worked within my budget as much as she could and price matched if something was cheaper elsewhere. I am buying a Stearns & Foster bed now and it will be great but will be back next year for a second bed (the Aierloom brand) since it is more money but would be ideal for my other home. Thank you Miss Vivian for helping me find a bed that my husband especially will love!

I rarely write reviews but I want to warn people of the current service I am receiving. We went shopping in July and planned to buy the majority of furniture for our new home from Darvin. We bought multiple items and were given delivery timelines. 1 out of 4 delivery timelines were actually met. Everything is delayed DRASTICALLY 6-7 times because of Covid and factory closures. I understand that items could be delayed, however, no one has reached out to us to let us know if the delays. All they care about is the sale. We have been waiting on 3 pieces for 4 months. Again, these pieces were delayed around 6-7 times and If I don t reach out and ask what the timeline for delivery is, we would have no idea what is going on. Customer Service and our Sales rep have not tried to update us on anything. Extremely frustrating that they only want to sell you the pieces and don t care about the follow up or delivery. I will never go to Darvin again.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Darvin! Josh did a fantastic job as my salesman! I had been to so many places before venturing here because it s so far for me. I honestly wish I had went sooner! Every place I gone to before seemed so annoyed that I was there with my kids and I would have to hunt people down for help especially at Macy s. As soon as I walked into Darvin Josh warmly greeted me and my little one. Which automatically made it worth the 1.5 hour drive. Josh was so helpful and patient. He truly went above and beyond to make my experience amazing! I will no longer travel store to store searching for furniture I ll now just make the trip to see Josh at Darvin for all my future furniture purchases!

From the friendly greeting when you first walk in to finding what I wanted, the final paper signing, and being acknowledged when we left was just the Best!!

I ve been a long time customer with Darvin, but my recent experience left a bad impression towards the company.
To start they jumped on us like hawks at the door, then followed me around to show me what they wanted me to purchase . After I made it clear that I was not interested in being sold on something that did not fit my family s needs, that sales person finally left us alone to shop in peace for a while.
After wandering for a bit I found what I was looking for, and along came another sales person while I was sitting on the couch I wanted to order (It was a king hickory). He initiated conversation, and appeared friendly until I told him we were being assisted by another guy. (The one who couldn t wait to pounce at the door) During that conversation I discussed the furniture I wanted to purchase (patio set, umbrella, gliding chair, 2k dresser in clearance, & the 9k couch I was sitting on) I was telling him about the couch, how I saw it 3 years ago, saw it was in the tent sale for 3,500 on the last day last year, but I didn t have the money because I had just bought my first home, so I wasn t able to purchase it at that time. (Not realizing I was there to purchase it now for full price) He made a few unexpected/ unnecessary comments that were very negative so I began to walk away. ( Awe, you ve been following it, how sad, what a sob story ) Assuming that I couldn t afford this piece, he spoke to the friend I was with & Literally said I had Mercedes Benz taste with a Hyundai budget while I was walking away. -How would he know what my budget was? My previous suv was a Mercedes Benz, I currently drive an Audi, & my teenager drives a Honda. I was just offended by not only his negative conversation, but his poor character and lousy judgment.
I left the store disappointed. The following day I was still thinking of the furniture I wanted to purchase so I decided to call the store and just order it so I didn t have to be attacked by their pushy sales people. I asked to speak with a manager because I felt like a supervisor should know about my experience/ how customers were being treated. They connected me to Jackie, she apologized for the incident and asked what she could do to keep my business. I told her there was a dresser on clearance upstairs (for 1,800 before tax) & if it was still there I would order it over the phone as a start. She said she would look into it and call me right back. She never called me back. Two days later I sent a friend up there to see if it was still there, which it was. They purchased it and sent it over, I received a notification to do a survey from Darvin and decided to share my recent experience since it made no difference to their staff of course. I have since ordered my couch from a competitive furniture company and am still looking for the perfect patio set. I will no longer shop with Darvin Furniture, nor recommend it to my clients. Their prices are higher then competitors and their customer service is trash.

Wonderful place to buy any type of furniture especially brands like Bassett which is made in the USA. Our other sectional is over 16 years old by this company So now we are purchasing from Darvin. It is our first experience and our sales person Pete was awesome. Very thorough. Stored closed and no one was upset that we kept them after. They were all so nice. Thank you you earned a new lifetime customer.

He helped me to customize my couch for my needs, and informed me of options I didn t even know were available. I will definitely be returning to Darvin for future purchases. I had a problem with my Order ( my fault) but she worked it out a had it corrected.

The experience was good, paid in full for the order, were told the order would take 4 weeks for delivery. On the way out the store a couple who made the same purchase are still waiting for delivery set for mid-September and it's almost mid-November. Time will tell how happy we'll be with the purchase.

Our sales person Dino was great however we went in there for a living room set and to get the difference of sales tax discount which was advertised along with $100 off if you spend over $1000. We spent almost $6000 and we were told no since it was a super value . Not happy with that but love the furniture.

Went in today looking for dining chairs. Met at door by salesperson who told me where to look and be mindful that a number of items can be out of stock. We went back to the dining area, found what we were
looking for, a salesman was there to help. As a result we were In and out in less than 30 min. Our chairs were in stock and will be delivered Wednesday. Very happy with experience. We ve been shopping with Darvin for years.

7000 dollar king hickory sectional. 2 kids deliver it today. They Rush rush rush. I notice they are installing the wood legs very sloppy and not aligned. I mean way way off, Not on straight at all. So aggressively with the drill i could tell they strip out every screw they drill into the wood bottom of my sectional. I had the provide bigger screws because i pointed out all were stripped. Now my plan is to remove them my and reinstall. These kids need to be trained. Unbelievable

Absolutely an amazing furniture store. My first purchase was a bedroom set several years ago and I was very pleased with the quality and the pricing. The second time was 3 weeks ago and Ms. Dorian was an awesome and amazing salesperson. During that time I saw an dining set that I just couldn't get of my mind and guess what I went back and purchase that dining set. I asked for Ms. Dorian and she remembered me, that what I call great customer service.
