Came here looking for a cheap couch for my new apartment, and left with much more than I bargained for because everything was priced so well in the clearance section! Candace was a dream to work with and made everything so easy!
Nice selection but definitely not as cheap as they tried to make it seem with the fourth of July 50% off sale.
We bought a rug and had to drive 15 minutes in the opposite direction to go pick it up at their distribution center which we found to be a waste of time. They were helpful in giving printed directions but to have a distribution center so far away in Mokena from the store isn't convenient. The distribution center also has different hours than the store so if you have to pick up something from there, you'll feel pressured to finish shopping before the distribution center closes.
We spent several hours at the store and looped back around to the front of the store where not one worker wanted to help us. We stood around looking at them looking at us and ultimately had to ask a manager that was greeting people in the entrance to have a salesperson come help us. That left a bad taste in our mouths as there was about 10 workers right in the front and not one approached us.
When we finally did get a salesperson, he added a warranty into the price without even asking us if we wanted it and we were told there would be a 149 dollar fee for delivery which is ridiculous. If I'm spending well over 2500 on a sectional, delivery should not be another almost 150.
Overall we went and experienced the store and all the selection but we won't be back again. It's way too far and way more pricey than it leads you to believe.
My family and I have been purchasing furniture from Darvin for many years! I recently purchased a new home and I knew Darvin Furniture was the place I wanted to do business with!
Johnny the sales associate was great! He was more of a friend than a sales person!! (I am in sales myself so I truly appreciated his approach and killer personality!)
I will continue my business with Darvin Furniture for years to come. And will always choose Johnny as my sales guy! Not only was Johnny friendly, he is understanding and truly listens to what you are looking for. He walked around the entire store with me as I kept saying "nope.. nope.. keep walking" THEN he recommended I check out one more couch before I took off for the night. WELL.... I made the purchase. I can t express the disappointment I have with Darvin Furniture. I bought furniture beginning of August, but due to the pandemic I ve yet to receive my furniture. I had to recently cancel my order and move on to another furniture company because the delivery date changed 5 times. That s not Darvin s fault I know but what I m most upset about is it s been 2 weeks since I canceled my order and have yet to receive my refund. Every time I call I get excuses that this dept. didn t do what they were supposed to do etc., this has left a VERY bad taste in my mouth and I will NEVER do business with Darvin again and I don t want a FAKE response from Kdambaugh@Darvin cause I already know there is NOTHING you can or will do your just pretending to acknowledge/respond to these reviews I know the game DARVIN!!!
Awesome experience! We were looking for a new mattress, and with all the choices, it can get very confusing. Brent Rowader was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole process so much easier! Would highly recommend shopping at Darvin for your next mattress purchase!

This place has everything and everything is beautiful. I was looking for a bedroom set, I found two that I really liked. The staff was extra friendly and helpful, especially Brandon Lipkowski.

Sales staff was great. I told Angela what piece of furniture I was looking for. She took me right to it and answered my questions. I am waiting for delivery and assembly since was one item was on backorder. If delivery and assembly go smoothly I will come back and rate 5 stars.
My sales person Michelina (I think) was great at letting us roam and checking in every once and a while. She did not hover like so many places seem to do. When we had a question she was quick to give or find the answer.
The reason I gave only 4 stars is because I was very frustrated in the counter space when we are to stay 6 ft apart. The windows they were using were right next to each other when you went to check out. I was less than a foot from another customer. That is not practicing social distancing.
I was extremely impressed by this furniture store. My mom and I scheduled an appointment (since it s a pandemic, they re only open by appointment only) and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted at the front door and had our temperature taken to ensure we didn t have fevers. We met with James Passarelli, who was absolutely delightful. He was so patient, willing to walk around the entire store with us, sometimes the same area twice, and show us all of our options. We had ordered a couch online to be delivered the next day and found a chair and rug in store. He managed to get the chair and rug on the delivery truck to be delivered the next day no issue and without an extra delivery charge. Everyone in the store had PPE and I felt very safe. I will recommend this store to anyone in the Chicago area and loved working with James. Thank you again!
I came here looking for bedroom, dining room, and living room furniture. The store is the massive and the quality of furniture was very nice. Definitely a step up from the furniture stores I had viewed weeks before. I went on the weekend so it was packed! There was a lot of people and it seems as though every sales associate was busy helping someone. When I found a dining room set that I liked it did take me a least 10 to 15 minutes to find someone to assist me. However once I found him my experience was great!! Paul knew the story very well & he was very personable! He listened to my needs and took me to the exact locations in the store to show me the pieces of furniture I was intrested in. He did not show me anything I was not interested in! He was not pushy and was not rushing me. Although we did experience technical difficulties with his computer he remained calm, patient & flexible. He asked if I wanted to go to lunch & come back once his system back up & running. He made my shopping experience very nice! I actually walked out with all the items of furniture I was looking for!
I love Darvin Furniture In Orland. I only deal with Tom he s a older white man and goes above and beyond ever time I come in the store. His customer service is amazing . He knows all the deals and promotions and is very honest about the quality and price of the items. I love Tom so ask for him and let him know that Diamond referred you.
Darvin never disappoints me. I only shop for furniture at Darvin. (Don't even walk in other stores close to me in Chicago). It is worth the 60 mile drive.

The salesman, John Roberts, seemed very knowledgeable and we walked out the door with a new mattress. Our negative was the cashier. She, by accident, charged our whole credit card for our purchase even though we were financing. We would like to make s huge suggestion on your cashier staff that they shouldn t chomp on gum the whole time she was with us. It was disgusting.
It really deserves a zero I made a big furniture order with them my bedroom set was defective on the day that was delivered we notice a few scratches and dents. Called Darvin to let them know, they told us I had to fill out a service request form and send them pictures of the damaged furniture. Two days later I received a call from Darvin saying someone will come in to our house and take a look at the furniture. A guy came a few days later and all he did was repair the issue by painting over the scratches and dents. It didn t resolve the issue, a few days later we could see scratches again and many other new ones I guess the furniture was of low quality since it scuffed and scratched easily with normal use. I called Darvin again this time a lady call Kelly from a different department called me and told me they would exchange my bedroom sets since we denied getting another service request. She gave us another delivery date. We waited I believe about two weeks for the next delivery. When the delivery came the bedroom set they delivered was damaged. We denied the delivery and called Darvin again this time calling Kelly directly. She told us that we could come into Darvin and pick another set. Keep in mind all the hassle we had already gone through. My husband and I went in and tried to re select something else but we couldn t find anything else of our like. The day we went to re- select the customer service they didn t even know that we didn t have our original bedroom set, the paper work that was on file was incorrect it showed It was still at my house. We spoke with a three diffirent people one being a Manager. She told us that she couldn t do anything that day because she couldn t get a hold of Kelly who took care of all the paper work but not to worry we would get our refund even if we didn t reselect a bedroom set. I tried calling Kelly it took almost a week to get a hold of her only to tell me that her manager had only approve a store credit and not a refund. It s been two weeks and I am still fighting to get a refund for something I don t have it s been out of my possession since June 13. It s been such a hassle to deal with all the people I speak with they always give me a run around and they never fix the issue all I want is my refund of little over 3000 dollars. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
Just bought several pieces of furniture. Haven't had furniture delivered, so review is based on shopping ecperience. Warmly greeted when I walked in by a salesman who gave a tour of the store. Was not pushy or did not try to sell me something I didn't need/want. Checked in periodically as we explored. Explained some of the differences in pricing between items upstairs/downstairs. Flexible on delivery as I needed furniture held for a few weeks. Would have been five stars, but sales people upstairs were like pirahnas. Approached by three different sales people within span of minutes, even after they saw us walk off elevator with previous salesman. Upstairs experience reminded me of visiting a car dealership!
Very impressive of furniture from great brands. Prices to fit all budgets. Our salesman Kevin Jones was super knowledgeable and helpful. There was a sales rep from one of the brands on premise to answer questions as well for their products. Ended up with a great sectional from Jonathan Louis and got to pick lots of options to really make it custom to our needs. Can't wait to work with Darvin again for future furniture needs.

I only have a single question regarding my delivery on my NEW furniture! Good luck folks! NO ONE WILL ANSWER YOUR CALLS!
Mixed review of experience at Darvin Furniture. I am pleased with the products I purchased and the floor salesmen I had the pleasure to interact with were outstanding. However, there s always a bad apple in every bunch I guess and this was at the payment desk with I believe the name to be Nadine. She must not be aware of the influence nonverbal communication has. Prior to handing over my credit card for payment, I asked what should be a simple request. I simply asked to know what the final amount of my purchase was before I just put my card in the machine . This request was apparently too taxing and inconvenient for the CHECK OUT clerk as her reaction was one of hands and arms flailing in the air, a huff of irritated air, followed by the classic eye roll. Join the film industry if you can t handle your job and give a customer their total purchase price. Disappointing to have a great experience at Darvin only to be soured by the actions of this woman. It certainly leaves a bad taste and lasting impression, and an experience that will be shared with others.
I m a return customer here. This time around a great Salesman named Mohammed, helped me with purchasing a brand new mattress. The people here know exactly how to help you find what you want, at the price you want....without being too pushy or pressuring! All around great customer service and welcoming feeling.
We ordered our sectional back in July and still have not received it(5 months later). The order keeps getting pushed back. We paid in full for the couch and have been getting the run around. Every time we call we get passed to another person and put on hold. If you are looking for furniture, pass on Darvin. Not worth the hassle and headache.

I have been a loyal Darvin customer for many years. Recently, my loyalty paid off after an accident ruined the table top of my dining room table (originally purchased at Darvin). Rebecca was a wonderful Sales Associate, and was able to locate just the matching table top replacement at an excellent price (saving me the purchase of a whole new table). Always wonderful service and quality furniture at Darvin (and thank you Rebecca)!

If you're looking for quality furniture and reliable customer service, this is not the place. Darvin's will sell you damaged furniture and ignore your calls and emails once they have your money.
We have called and emailed with a rep (Judy O.) since September and was promised a resolution but have continued to be ignored. We currently have 2 furniture pieces (>$1500) that are missing parts and are damaged and no one is taking responsibility for it. Don't waste your time or hard earned money here.
Our salesman Phillip Aurelio was very knowledgeable, and friendly, he made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Great salesman we are satisfied with him and our purchase each time and will continue to give him our business.

We had a great experience at Darvin Furniture this weekend. Thursday we got rid of our couch, because the new couch was arriving Friday. It arrived, but was way too large, so back on the truck it went. That evening we were looking, but due to COVID shutdown, and manufacturing plants closed, the earliest we could get a new sofa would be 10/31. That wouldn t work. The next morning we went to Darvin and walked around with Janet, no pressure who showed us every different option and price point. We found an open box leather electric sofa recliner for $700.00 and it will be delivered this Thursday. We were very happy with Darvin and Janet, who was a great Sales person.
Been shopping at Darvin for years. I love the No finance charge guarantee. This purchase is my first time buying a King mattress. Wally was my salesmen and was very helpful. Wally explained how important it is to buy your mattress cover protection plan from Darvin. If for any reason I have a problem? Call Darvin and I m covered. Next was my Cashier Annette! What a bright and kind courteous saleswomen. Annette helped me go thought the steps applying for my new credit card with Darvin. Annette was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Darvin Family, I can t wait to sleep on my knew mattress soon.
Great experience at the store..But the only thing is the Quality of the Living Room Set that I Bought BERNHARDT I bought them as a 100% Leather They already chipped on the spot..I am Giving this Review because nobody even used the furniture cause I bought them more for the Family Room and I can imagine what would happened if we used them..Very Disappointed with A Quality.
Darvin is our go to for furniture. Stopped in first this this morning to look for a new sectional for our basement. Greeted by Mark when we entered, and he took us straight up to the Clearance Center (we asked to go there, first). Once we got there, he stood back and let us look around. Only took about 15 minutes to find exactly what we were looking for. Mark was helpful, informative, and also gave us our space to shop. No pressure whatsoever - and the quality of the furniture sells itself. Will definitely be back again.

Our sales person Josh was wonderful and attentive without overwhelming us to purchase. He tried his best to match furniture for me. The variety of furniture is what I felt lacked for us in bedroom and sofas. We were looking for a particular style and couldn t seem to find the gem. Otherwise, the quality of furniture is great and fairly reasonable. Again, my experience was great with our sales person.
Everything was amazing until it came to the shipping and availability date which was 2 months after of when we ordered. I m giving 5 stars for the good price, quality, and customer service but i still hope that i get my furniture earlier than two months! Two months is a really long time

Very good selection of furniture both new and clearance items as well. Excellent 5 star service from my sales consultant Janet Kusmisz and the warehouse team who wrapped my purchase in plastic and loaded it the back of my vehicle. Excellent deals in clearance while the new stuff sufferers a bit being a little overpriced. Many sales people will continually ask if you need help so go in with a plan and grab someone when your ready. Very busy place on weekends and sales events.

The furniture and prices at Darvin were great. I love my bedroom set and couch. Jeff was very helpful, too. The customer service after purchase was not so great. I wanted all of my furniture delivered on the same day so I wouldn t need to take off work twice. Then, two days before it was supposed to be delivered, they called and said my couch was back ordered. I called back the next day, and the woman I spoke with said my couch WOULD be delivered. Well it wasn t. So I called again and the woman from dispatch said the couch was sitting there waiting to be delivered. I had to schedule another day to have them come back when it should ve been done in one day. I was also expecting a refund for a return. I called probably 4 different times and each time the person I talked to said it would go through the next day. It s been 3 weeks and still no refund.
We have purchased many items at the Orland Park store over the years & it is our go to place furniture, mattresses & everything in between like lamps & rugs.
Vivian in the mattress department is the best sales team member that I have ever had here. She is extremely knowledgeable about Darvin's products and any sales promotion that happens to be available at that time. This latest purchase was no exception; she helped us tremendously. The service I was provided in the store was great. It took almost 3 month to get most of my items. When I called to check the status I kept getting the runaround as far as what items I am waiting for. I also canceled an item and it has been over 3 month and I have yet to get a refund for the item. Or my delivery fee refunded per a manager. I am really unsatisfied, where is my money!
Absolutely wonderful customer service. Even though the item was not available readily, we were able to order it and were treated so well that it did not even matter that will have to wait several weeks. I strongly recommend Darvin for their furniture and their customer service. We have been customers for many many years.
The experience in store itself was fantastic. Everyone that we encountered was friendly and incredibly helpful, even if they weren't the one getting the sale. Our contact, Jay W was wonderful. He checked in and explained processes bur left us to ourselves to search and test them and choose our couch. We had gone to Ashley furniture as well and they were clingy rude and pushy. We plan to buy a house in the next 12 months and assuming delivery goes smoothly we'll be back again for sure!

This was my very first time here and it was a massive place with much to choose from. Excellent range of prices and good to great variety of quality. Carlos Gomez was my sales associate and he was very helpful and informative. Not pushy at all and I felt I was in good hands with him. I purchased a recliner sectional couch as well as a couch/pull out bed. I can't wait to go back and make more purchases!

Great sales person but ruined the experience when we went to pay. They gave me a pager and I was standing watching others without pagers walk up and get service. At one point I asked the clerk and was told they would let me know by pager. Waited and waited. Finally I spoke up and was told they are short handed and that's why. I didn't like the attitudes of the employees. Won't go back
I then received a call from sales man Clinton who couldn't be nicer. This guy introduced me to the manager Bob mcgivney who worked everything out for me. I have since been back twice and purchased a recliner today.. Both Clinton and Bob helped me out. You talk about turning a terrible experience into a pleasant one, these two men did just that. They are the best, ask for Clinton if your ready to buy.
This furniture store is loaded with quality from front to back. I felt very comfortable to look around and was not hassled. I bought a luxury mattress and I have to tell you that it was the best sleep I've had in a long while. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Would give no stars if possible , this is been going on over a year now, we bought a coffee table and 2 end tables all 3 were delivered with chips Marks they replaced the coffee table with a worse table, then agreed to replace the top of the coffee table with now the metal end pieces keep falling off. Was told by kelly price to send picture which we did, we even ask if they can get us the paint so we can touch them up. So far calls and emails to kelly price have gone unreturned!!!!
