We are completely satisfied. It was all accomplished in the same day. Amazing!! Our salesman, the manager, the financial person were all superb to work with and my wife and I could not be happier. We are retired and this is our first Cadillac. Hoorah!!

I was met by a very helpful young lady. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Our car was not completed on time but the representative was very tentative and made us feel comfortable.
The service group at Dan Vaden Chevrolet is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend them! There's a lot of bush League, nickel shooter dealers out there that will happily sell you a vehicle, but fail you when it comes to service like Mr Chevrolet in Okatie, South Carolina. Lots of talk up front during the sales process but no service after the sale. My wife and I are Vaden customers for life now.
Our salesperson Donald was outstanding and found us the perfect vehicle we were hoping to buy . He did everything he could to get us in something and he did very well as for getting us our new 2017 Chevrolet Silverodo and we absolutely love it !!
The customer service was awesome and the thoughtfulness of the staff was a nice touch for early in the morning! The service staff was very friendly, they kept me informed of progress of my vehicle. The staff, just passing by, spoke to the waiting room customers which doesn't happen often. I would definitely recommend Dan Vaden for friendly service and timeliness.
Not satisfied with my experience with them at all. I came in basically knowing what I wanted but open to the possibility of something in a similar price range. I did come in late but this is car sales we re talking about and a sale is a sale. Upon arriving he rushed me through the process of taking my information immediately asked for a co-signer which I had then informed me the finance department was closing and they will let me know something by 930 am. When I heard back from the salesman it was 1130 and he still had no answer for me. 3 pm comes and he tells me I m not approved and doesn t say anything else, doesn t even try to chose another vehicle after I told him I was open to other options. They seem like they don t want to sell cars and I m extremely disappointed that I even let them run my credit.
Very good service. Vehicle was in after being rear ended.vehicle looked like new they even detailed and cleaned the inside. Very freindly service and a pleasure doing business with.
I brought my vehicle there 3 different times for the same issue and they never fixed it, they only turned the check engine light off. Within a day the check engine light would come back on. Not only that but they did damage to my car. They said they had a picture showing that it was like that before but the picture they sent me was so blurry that you couldn t tell if it was or wasn t there (which I know for a fact that it wasn t because I hand washed it the day before dropping it off and it wasn t there). I asked them for the pictures that they take with an iPad of the vehicle when dropped off and still haven t received an answer back. I know they take photos with an iPad because I watched them do it with another vehicle that was being dropped off and I even asked about it and they said they do it with all vehicles that are dropped. I find it very convenient that they won t show me a photo taken with the iPad and I m pretty sure it s because it won t show any damage. For anyone taking your vehicle there do yourself a favor and take your own photos of your vehicle while it is there so that you have proof that there wasn t damage beforehand. I ve now taken my vehicle to a Chevy dealership in hinesville and they have fixed the issue with my car and I haven t had a problem since. I would not recommend going to this Chevy Dealership!
Can you give "Negative" Stars?? Purchased my car "New" back in 2009 from Dan Vaden. Just had an issue with an extended warranty on the transmission. I called Vaden and they scheduled an appointment for me. I arranged to have someone pick me up, drive my car and when I arrived for my appointment I was told by Matt in the Service Department that they would not be able to even "diagnosis" my car for a month & then they would not have a rental car for me. Why would they schedule an appointment, make me go thru the hassle of missing work, inconveniencing others and then tell me they can't look at my car for a month? Furious to say the least! By the way, GM said that was unacceptable! Matt also said he would do what he could and call me. Well it has been a week and no phone call. I dare him to call me now! He also said that they were the only dealership in the Southeast that could work on my car for this extended warranty transmission issue. I could not be without a car for over a month waiting on them to look at and repair my car. I called GM and was told that I could take my car to Rincon Chevrolet. Guess what! That was last Friday when this all went down, I picked up my car today and it is fixed!! Rincon Chevrolet is the place to go! Rincon Chevrolet has great customer service people. I had to drive from Savannah (about a 30 min. ride) but it is well worth it to not have to deal with Dan Vaden Chevrolet. Dan Vaden's Service department is full of BS and are very rude to their customers. Sad thing is the Upper Management really doesn't care either! If they did, they would do something about how their service department is handled. Just so you know that this is not a one time incident. In the past whenever I had a service issue and Vaden repaired the car, I would always have to take it back because they did not repair it correctly. Every single time! This most recent issue was the straw that broke the camel's back with giving them any more chances. And don't believe the BS about no one else around can repair the car because that is an outright lie. Call GM and they will gladly lead you in the right direction and even follow-up frequently until the matter is resolved and you are a satisfied customer. I will never ever ever buy another car from Vaden again or even take my car there for service!!
Came into the dealership hoping to find a reasonably price SUV. My girlfriend and I were met by a salesman named Tony. We sat down and talked for a while, we told him what we wanted. He gave us a estimated monthly rate and tried to get us to get a 2018 Cruze which is nothing like what we wanted. we got our credit checked and told him we would have to go home and discuss our options and see if we could work the monthly rate into our budget. Before we left Tony told us we were approved! We looked online and decided to go with a Used Dodge Journey and knew we could afford it. I went back today to test drive the car and discuss some more. I was only able to get off work and get back there at 530 and they close at 7. I get there and he makes me refill out a credit application because hes lost it and makes me wait forever and then says at 7 ,just as they're closing, that we weren't approved and he just told us that the other day because he thought we would be approved. So wasted our time, got our Hope's up, and bold faced lied to us. If you do go to this dealership, steer clear of Tony.
000.000 stars!!!! Service department was slow, out dated, and waited four hours to get our vehicle serviced. Technicians had to work in open bays in 90 degree weather.
I took my 2011 Chevrolet Aveo LT to it for regular maintenance. Here's why I gave it 5 stars. 1) The person who helped me set up an appointment was friendly and effective. 2) Austin Rahn, service advisor, was very helpful. 3) The shuttle service was timely.
Good place. Definitely switching to going here instead of the Chevrolet on US-17.
Tem Ajaka was my sales person. He is great! Tem made purchasing a car easy and stress free. The staff at Dan Vaden Chevrolet was warm and friendly. I look forward to purchasing my future cars from the dealership.
This place has been absolutely amazing to us! Our salesman Ty was so patient with us and really worked hard to get us in the car we wanted for the price we needed. Meredith in finance was so friendly and made paperwork fun! Sales manager we worked with really worked hard to get us the pricing we need. Everyone here has really gone above and beyond to make this an amazing and enjoyable experience
Stephen and everyone else was a huge help. We found out our family was growing and our current "recently purchased" vehicle was not enough space. With some work, we got a New Larger SUV that fit our needs and our budget.
Terrible business practices!! I spoke to a sales person (Tony, who was the only honest person I spoke to) and we could not get together on the price. No biggie. I received a call from the sales team to come back and they would get me to the price I was looking for.. I called back to make sure because we were $220 off the first time. I was told they would take a loss just to sell the vehicle. After making the hour plus drive i they told me they were not willing to move at all! I was in the parking lot and the sales manager called me, he didn't even have the decency to talk to me face to face. Instead of admitting it was him (and it was) who requested I come back, he blamed it on someone else! Whoever owns this company, I would seriously consider getting involved in the shady practices and stop them before the name on the door gets completely drug through the mud by employees you are trusting with your families name. Thanks. James.
We were traveling through Savannah and needed an oil change and our Silverado truck repaired. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and the work got done. We would recommend them to anyone.
Need to hire more people at the parts department, had to wait 30 minutes for someone to give me a part I ordered. Once the guy got there he was on point so nothing bad to say about the slow service
I drop my car on a Wednesday because my transmission was slipping on 2017 Chevy Impala LT. They put me in a loaner that had an expired tag July 2017 and it's November. I contact my service Advisor Sean. He couldn't tell me much, I got pulled over for that temp tag and was gave a warning. I contact Austin the manager, still got no where. I even contact the customer service Manager, I think her name is Shawna. I was lied to about services being done on my vehicle. I was told my car was on the rack being service by Sean and Austin but after a week and not hearing nothing else. I went up there after work, when I got up there to request my car I rode around until I spotted my car which was just sitting parked collecting dust. Sean got my car pulIed it around, didn't ask to sign any papers or ask for the loaner keys which I thought was very rude. I was polite and set the keys on the desk. I will never ever come back to this location. I have had service two times at this location and both times were horrible. Worst customer service we have ever received any where. I never had an experience like this with my Nissan service. True the sales part is excellent with trying to get you to buy a car but after that it goes to down hill from there. I even have a picture of the loaner with expired tag
Dan Vaden's collision department had my vehicle for nearly a month for repairs from a relatively minor accident. There was serious miscommunication between their collision department and my insurance company. They also did not effectively communicate with me in reference to them needing a tire to complete their repairs. They arranged for Savannah Tire to put tires on so they could complete their repairs. Savannah Tire notified them that the front bar of my car was bent and they told them that the issue was not a result of the accident. Their collision department released my vehicle to me in a condition that is unsafe to drive. Left me stranded without a vehicle all weekend and could do nothing but offer me a phone call by Monday at 9 am due to the collision department being closed. Customer service is terrible and they obviously have no regard for the safety of their customers. I wouldn't let Dan Vaden wash my car, let alone repair it.
I drove up, got out and was about 10-12 feet from the main entrance when I was greeted by Mrs. Lisa Leach. She had a great attitude and big smile on her face and asked me what I was looking for.. It didn t take but about 15-20 mins to find exactly what we were looking for. I definitely recommend Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Savannah, GA and also recommend Lisa! Thanks for the wonderful experience!
My first visit was ridiculously aggravating and i actually left but upon my return and with the help of Mike Hill everything went fantastic. Also my service writer Ashley was extremely pleasant and helpful with everything.
Able to negotiate and deliver a high quality product at a fair price, very streamlined experience, friendly, welcoming, great atmosphere, gave me exactly what I wanted, highly responsive, you can tell that they love the work that they do, motivated to sell without being overly aggressive, Steve, Johnathon, and Meredith make a great team, I love the make it happen attitude!
My wife scheduled a an 0830 appointment to get an oil change covered under the warranty we purchased. After waiting 2 hours, she asked how much longer and was told that they lost the car and it was not in the system. Eventually after 4 hours she was able to able to get the car. 4 hours is entirely too long for a routine oil change especially when you are the first one scheduled for the day. Additionally no one seemed to care that a customers time was being wasted and no was remotely helpful or showed any initiative towards solving the problem. I will never get service at Dan Vaden again, if they can't handle a simple oil change in a timely manner I can't imagine the disaster a more complicated appointment would be
Took awhile to decide to place a review of my recent experience with this dealership, but figured I should just to let others know. Needed to find a new vehicle since my truck bit the dirt. Was kinda in a rush. Liked the Malibu's so that was what I began to look for. Went to the dealership on a Friday night to see. Meet up with the salesman and told him what I was looking for. Took me out to the lot and showed me a 2014 Malibu that I had already told him was not what I wanted to spend. Mistake #1. He insisted that they could work with me on the price and things. Decided to see. (They did have others that were more in line with what I was willing to pay. Did not even show them to me even when I asked.) Decided to take for a test drive. As I approached the car, the salesman had all the windows down and the ac running full blast. Did not think to much about it since it was a hot day. Thought, just airing it out and cooling the inside. Took for a test drive and made the purchase. Was not able to take procession at that point. Salesman wanted to have it detailed. The next day I waited for several hours and never heard from them so I had to call. Was told that they were trying to Ionize the inside of the car and it would take a couple of hours. After about 4 hours of waiting, I called again to see what was going on. Now it was ready for me to get. Went to get the car and the salesman informed me of the real reason for the extra time. They were trying to get a smell out of the car. A smell??? Why was I not informed of this smell before The purchase??? Well it seemed to be gone just the lingering smell of the air fresheners that they used. Over the next few weeks the smell came back, but was not alone. Along with the smell came little flying bugs. At one point it was so bad I could hardly drive the car. Most of the time had to have the windows rolled down. Took it back to the dealership and so far the smell has not returned. Also a week after the purchase of the car the gas cap cover fell off. Took it in. After waiting for a while the parts person said they would have to order the part and that was it. He never quoted me a price or anything. I thought that they would get it with no charge. Only had the car for a week. Things don't just fall off. Waited for 3 weeks and never heard anything about it. Decided to go to the dealership and find out about it. Sent me to the parts department and after about 20 minutes of searching they bring a primed cap and inform me that it will cost 200 dollars just for the cap. This did not include the price to have it color matched to the car. If they would have been up front from the beginning, would have never purchased the car. I believe in being up front and honest with others. Obviously Dan Vaden does not. Let the buyer beware. I am leaving the original post for reference. A very nice lady named Shawnna has gotten in touch with me and as of right now, the Malibu is in the shop getting the items fixed. Her efforts have restored my confidence in this dealership. Thank you Shawnna for your quick response and efforts. It is really appriciated.
Don't waste your time going in unless you are ready to pay the " internet price". I was told the car I wanted was there by their internet sales consultant and once I got into the showroom, they tried to show me a bunch of other cars I didn't even want to see. After an hour, I found out that they didn't even have the car I wanted because they didn't want to pay the $75 transfer fee unless I agree on a price first, without even seeing the car!!!!!!! Once we got to the negotiations, my salesman played the "mother-may-I" game until the manager came out and said "the internet price is the lowest we can go and the internet shows our bottom dollar price"!!!!! Little did he know that he just lost three car sales because I was looking for another used car for my daughter (My wife told the salesman and I did too) and I was looking at a new Silverado. So by my estimation, because he didn't want to come off of $1000, he lost the company 3 car sales. I will happily take my business and money somewhere else and I would recommend you do the same...
Jo Jo was very knowledgeable about every vehicle that I look at. He was very patient and understanding about our situation, and at the end he made it work and we came off the lot with a new car. Thank you sir.
My truck broke down and had to be towed to this location. It sat for 3 days while I tried eagerly to get ahold of the woman who acted as a middleman between the mechanics and I. I finally heard back from her on day 3 and she said that a tire rotation seems to have fixed the transmission issue and my truck was ready to be picked up. Skeptical, as anyone would be after being told a tire rotation fixed the transmission, I stopped a mechanic and asked her if anyone had looked at my truck. It never even left the service area! It took the mechanic 15 mins to tell me the transmission was broken. (She seems to be the only competent employee at Dan Vaden).
I paid $150 for a rental car for 3 days for nothing.
Now here's why Mike Reed is better... You get to talk to a service manager who is a qualified and experienced mechanic. They ask questions, and genuinely care to fix your issues. You're not having to explain mechanical terms to a "middleman" who may or may not properly relay pertinent information to the mechanics. This is by far the worst car dealership service department I've ever been to.
Poor customer service when you speak with a receptionist over the phone. They sound like they've been up all night partying and their words slur. They obviously could care less, I was transferred 3 times to a voicemail instead of being assisted. Will not continue to do business with this dealership even though I purchased a new vehicle from there, and definitely won't recommend them to anyone else. I do love speaking with Donna, she's always a sweetheart.
This place is horrible. I do not recommend, I repeat I do not recommend. I dropped my car off a month ago. Still isn't fixed first encounter my car was not able to be found. How you misplace a car I don't know. I call no answer. I leave messages and they reply back at the end of the week. Horrible place
Brought GMC purchased from another vaden dealership and they took complete care right away. Informed me around 1700 that they needed to keep the truck and gave me a rental to use since they needed to keep it. Great service, will update review once I get my truck back and see the results.
My whole experience was great !! Completely satisfied customer !! Justin was awesome !! 5 star to his service will be back to service my vehicle with Justin !!
I just bought my 4th car from Dan Vaden Chevrolet. Joe Joe Williams is a fantastic salesman. He has helped me through all of my purchases and makes me and my family feel at home no matter what I come in for. He actually makes the sales experience pleasant and comfortable!
I thought I would give your service department another chance, but now I wish I didn't. The first time we got it serviced there was fine, we didn't get a call it was ready but when we did call it was ready.. so whatever. The second time we came in for service, we dropped off the vehicle with the spare key (which we have never used), my wife then calls up there 2 hours later and asks for an update and the lady then tells us she could never get it to start so it was just sitting in the shop.. she never said she tried to call and I even verified with her that she had the right numbers.. my wife then proceeded to drive to my job and get the key we usually use to see if that would crank the vehicle, it did so she proceeded to tell me she would call me when it was done, well that didn't happen either.. we ended up having to come there to pick up the vehicle almost at close because we never received the phone call, and when we get there they couldn't find our keys, our paperwork nothing... UNACCEPTABLE. We decided to let that go, and took it one last time.. we dropped the vehicle off at 10:30AM for a simple maintenance service the 3rd one on a brand new 2018 Chevy Colorado.. that would only take an hour to an hour and a half in my wife's service department.. I then got the shuttle to my wife's job to pick up her car while my truck was getting worked on. 1:30 came around still no call that it was ready, I picked my wife up and we went to lunch.. I called the service department 3 times, got a voicemail twice and then the third time the lady said she would get someone to call me back because my advisor was not at his desk.. reasonable ... okay. I dropped my wife back off at work and waited till 3:30 and called them again WHILE SITTING IN THEIR PARKING LOT LOOKING AT MY VEHICLE PARKED.. they decided to tell me that they are still working on my vehicle and it would be another 30 minutes to an hour.. for a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE that has now been there for 5 hours.. they told me they would call me when it was done so I went home.. 5:30 came around and I decided to go up there since I still didn't receive a call, they could not find me in the system, no keys, nothing ONCE AGAIN. This is and will be my last service visit with Dan Vaden Chevy in Savannah. I will be moving my services to Pooler where I hope I can get better service there. My wife has working in a dealership coming up on 4 years now, and her service department has mistakes, every dealership does but nothing like this.. if they can't find the paperwork they can at least find the keys.. its completely uncalled for to never get a phone call when the vehicles ready, never have a way to get an update on your vehicle when asked because someone is always "too busy" I highly suggest you all find a better way of communication because if every other customer is/has gotten treated they way I have .. I see this service department not lasting much longer. Highly DON'T recommend... the worst service I have ever gotten.
So the sales man told me to head inside and see how much they can lower the price of a truck I was interested after I said I was just looking around and comparing truck makes, the next thing I know, they sold me a truck I didn t even know what the final price i was paying was, thankfully I I was slow enough to pay for anything but I mean cmon? And then the manager comes on and talks to me as if I was stupid telling me things we all already know. I MEVER AGREED ON AN END PRICE!
0 stars for this dealership, they do not tell the truth, do not stand by their "bird dog" slogan, and if you upset someone trying to get paperwork done right, they act like it is done correctly then just screw it up causing you more work! They did not mind taking my money though! Guess that will be the last Corvette I buy from them!
I give these people five plus stars! They are not just looking to make a sale. They helped me find the deal that was best for me. They even pointed my girlfriend in the right direction to get a good deal at another dealership. Great communication even after the sale. Very patient! Highly recommended!
I routinely receive EXCELLENT service from Dan Vaden Savannah. From the sales department to finance to service to parts, this dealership is outstanding! Neal Wilson is a fabulous leader and Meredith Terrell is an incredible team member! Thank you for always meeting my automotive needs and exceeding my expectations!
Dan Vaden Chevrolet help to me when no one else would. I had chronic air-conditioning problems in my truck GM basically told me there was nothing that they could do. Dan Vaden took care of it I'll never shop anywhere else again
Scam artists! I NEVER write reviews, but this absolutely warranted one. I'm seriously not sure how there's soo many good reviews for this place! Took my car here for what was a suspected bulletin and was told it would not be covered and would be near $800 to fix it. Got a second opinion and all that my car needed was a new battery. THAT'S IT! They wanted to charge me $800 to replace my battery. Even still, I could've bought all the parts and done it myself for a fraction of what they wanted. I didn't get it replaced by them but was still out $130 for their bs diagnostic. Other departments aren't much better. I tried to contact the parts department for days and no one was answering. Whoever answered the main line said they kept giving them my name and number to call me back, but it wasnt until 5 days later I finally got a hold of someone. When I went to return the parts they told me I needed but didn't, I was in line over an hour. There was only 1 person in front of me! A transaction that took all of 5 minutes to do. I'm super easy going but my experience was the worst. Save the time and money and do business with someone else.
We were on vacation from Louisiana pulling a 5th wheel camper - with family along. We needed the truck repaired quickly. Vaden repaired the truck quickly and properly. Our service consultant (Ashley?? - not sure here) was exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. I called on two different occasions with questions and concerns about the repairs being done - to me, the repair did not seem to me to address the problem. Our Service Consultant checked into the matter and quickly called back to explain to me how the proposed repair would indeed address the problem. I called back a second time, left a message and was quickly called back. The truck was ready as promised and we have had no issues since. All in all a totally enjoyable experience. Thank You!!
Mr. Adrian Henderson is an awesome & wonderful salesman. I've bought multiple vehicles from Mr. Henderson. He sold me/my daughter a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu on 11/14/20 and it was the quickest sale process in my years of buying a vehicle. If you want to buy a vehicle with quick process (not hours of buying a vehicle) Mr. Adrian Henderson at Dan Vaden Chevrolet Savannah is your guy!!! Please go to Mr. Henderson for your next vehicle, if Vaden doesn't have what you want he will get what you want.
I took back my five star review. I'm not satisfied with my Malibu at all I got it in 2017 now it's 2020 and every time it rains my trunk is full of water! Smh no matter how nice it looks the quality is just flat out awful! Im beyond upset right now then you take it to them your warranty is up I might as well buy a used car from another dealership I'm making payments on a car that's not worth it!
I usually don t write reviews. This service center gave me a quote for some work that was so over priced I told them they are price gouging and decided to do the work myself. After being quoted, I got two phone calls later and they kept dropping the price by hundreds of dollars trying to get my business which just confirmed they were price gouging in the first place. I saved about $3,000 doing the work myself and did it in less time than than they quoted for their professionals. They are over charging for parts and over quoting on labor hours.
I was able to get an appointment quickly. Everyone at the Dan Vaden Chevrolet Savannah were extremely helpful and courteous. The service and waiting area was clean and attractive.
I just want to give a HUGE thank you to the dealership and my salesperson Joe Joe for getting me into the camaro I wanted! when I pulled up I was nervous if it could be done but once joe joe told me he was making sure I drive off the lot in my new car I was relieved, looking for the car I wasn't pressures nor haggled and it was a overall awesome experience! I will be doing more business with you guys in the Future!
The rating below was from 2016. My most recent visit in 2017 was similar. Service Consultant (Ashley) is absolutely awesome.... technicians... not so much. 5 stars to Ashley.. 2 stars to technicians. As of this morning, I've taken my 2013 Escalade to another dealership for service. I don't believe the technicians at this location are fully trained in Cadillac products.
My first experiences with this Cadillac dealership were extremely rocky, however it improved over the past 2.5 years. Today I am witnessing a reversion to the old techniques and attitudes. Waiting 15 mins before check in for standard service, no loaner although requested, slow shuttle, no available management, so far I am not pleased. Yes, this visit was scheduled. Disappointed.
More experiences throughout 2016 has led to more disappointment. Seriously concerned with level of or should I say LACK of ability /expertise.
Service advisor (Ashley) does the best she can considering the support team.
My service advisor, Ashley, was very attentive to my needs and she kept me informed throughout the entire process. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Because of Ashley's outstanding customer service, I will definitely share my experience and choose Vaden Cadillac of Savannah for my future needs. Thanks Ashley and Happy Holidays
Long wait never running on time..no communication ahead to plan accordingly waited over n hour for a oil change...if I would have known I could been more prepared but had to rush the entire rest of the day n I ask prior to schedule the wait time. Just saying you should call n inform clients that your running 1hour behind schedule
Service manager will not return calls, vehicle was in shop for over a week. I order to find the status I had to go there. They claim they fixed the problem but there was still and issue and I need to pay for another diagnostic. Bottom line problem was related to the issue a month prior where hey did not connect a hose properly. This resulted in me spending another $500 plus. POOR SERVICE.
Bill was absolutely amazing! Not only is he a hard worker, but he is a very passionate and kind person as well. He made sure I understood the entire process and got me a car I am so in love with! I would recommend so many people to go and work with him!
I will never shop at Dan Vaden Chevrolet again! They put me through the worst experience. Messed up an order, and lied to me. Took me all the way to the airport and expected me to pay for their mistake.I had to go back for an issue that should have been fixed the 1st time and then they charged me. My overall impression of the Chevrolet brand as a whole is tarnished. I will never buy a Chevrolet or any affiliated brand again. The lady i spoke to last in the customer feedback dept. i think her name was Robin said they would send a gas card in the mail as if that would satisfy the problem to in the end not even send it out. She lied. I have sold my Chevrolet that I had recently paid off just because of this experience. That's how bad of an experience I had at Dan Vaden Chevrolet. I have yet to hear from ownership in regards to this. Consumer Relations needs to know what happens on the frontline. As a consumer these companies don't value the customer experience as a whole. If we stop supporting them then maybe they'll listen. Corporations need to know that the experience a customer receives can change their whole perception and determines Brand Loyalty.
I Just bought a 2012 Silverado from this dealer! By far the best decision I have made for buying my first truck out of a new car dealer! Thank you to the sales team for all your hard work and effort I love my truck!
I found a truck I wanted to look at located at the vaden beaufort location. I called and asked if the truck was indeed on the lot and was told that it was. I loaded up my wife and 7 yr old daughter and headed in that direction. On the way, I called the vaden savannah location to ask if I would have to pay both South Carolina and Georgia taxes if I purchased that truck out of state. I was told that they would just get the truck delivered to the savannah location and I wouldn't have to worry about out of state taxes (although I later found out that I would not have had to pay out of state taxes even if I bought the truck in beaufort). Upon arrival, I was told there was a problem getting the truck because there was another customer who had expressed interest in it and the beaufort location did not want to let it go. The salesman then told me that if we could make a deal and I were to purchase the truck, then the beaufort location would have to release the truck. He went on to say that when the truck arrived, I could test drive it, look it over and then determine if I wanted to keep it, if not, no harm no foul, I wouldn't have to take delivery of it. After some long negotiations we were able to strike a deal. I signed all necessary paperwork and was now the owner of a new truck. As I walked out of the finance dept, I asked the GM if the truck was on it's way or if it was already here. He told me that the truck would not be there until Monday because the beaufort location closed at 5 (it was 4:40 at the time). I was not happy about this and told him someone better bring me this truck I purchased. He got on the phone. In the meantime, I research and find out that the beaufort location did not close until 6. When I confronted the sales manager with this, he assured me that every location except for theirs did indeed close at 5 no matter what hours they posted. I didn't believe this hogwash and my temper was beginning to boil over. At 6 oclock I had had enough and walked up to the GM to see what was going on. He then informed me that the beaufort location had sold the truck after I had already signed for it. This location put themselves before the customer. Apparently these two locations are very competitive and neither location likes to give up their inventory. When I called that morning to the savannah location, they could have answered my question about the taxes and then advised that they could try to get the truck delivered to their location while warning me that this is difficult at times due to other customers expressing interest it. Armed with that information, I could have made my own decision on which location to visit. Their greed in taking a sale away from the beaufort location backfired and instead they earned an angry customer who will not do business with them again. They also lost any future business from my close friends and family.
Worst service dept I have ever seen. The only reason I gave a one star is there is no 0 star. Took my certified Cadillac in for service and 2 small warranty issues. That was on Sept 10, 2018. They half butt fixed 1 issue and never addressed the rearview mirror issue. Said they would have to check with GM to see if it was covered. Said they would call me. Never happened. Oct 1 I talked to Brad Fields about the mirror. Sent him a photo. Called me back and said it was under warranty and the part was ordered and I would receive a call for an appointment. Never happened. 4 days ago Meagen called and said she would find out what happened and give me a call back. Never happened. I will drive to Jax Florida to Claude Nolan Cadillac for service before I ever set foot in ANY Vaden Group dealership again. Claude Nolan treats you like you are important to them. BTW that white with red interior corvette on the showroom floor will not be bought by me.
Well needless to say I never got into the place I literally just called 8 times to just speak to someone in the service department about an issue that has been ongoing, and hoping that I try another Chevrolet dealer in the area to get help, but FAIL TREMENDOUSLY by either no one answering, or someone answering and me getting hung up on, and having to call back, I'm too disgusted. Guess I'll try the last dealership in the area to see if they can help me, if not, I will take my car home to a KNOWN TRUSTED CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP!!!! #NOTHAPPY
I brought my Chevy Malibu in for service because it kept reducing power and my check engine light was on. I was asked to leave my car on Wednesday, August 29th and would have my car back the following Wednesday. Well, I call back the day I'm supposed to have it and was told that the pistons were consuming my oil and they had to be replaced so the car would not be ready until Friday, September 7th. I was a little frustrated considering I was too young to be given a loaner car and too young to rent a car so I would be left without a way to go for another 2 days or so but I know they are busy with other cars as well so I patiently waited it out for the other 2 days. Friday comes and I call around 11 that morning to check on the status of my vehicle and was told that it was being inspected but was assured that it would be ready to go that afternoon. I was beyond happy so I waited for a few hours and called back around 3:00 to see if everything was finished but to my surprise, they said they didn't know about the car and would check with the technician and give me a callback within 10-15 minutes. I waited until about 3:30 or so and called them back myself and was then told that they had not fixed the car and were still trying to pinpoint the problem. At that point, I realized something was up and started to believe that for the past 9-10 days my car had been there it was not looked at nor fixed nor had ANYTHING done to it. I explained to her how long the car had been there and asked why nothing had been done yet and her exact response was I don't know. I can only relay a message. I just hung up. I got a call back from Angela who is my service advisor (the only one up there who seems to have ANY customer service experience) and she politely told me that a technician had quit that was working on my car so now someone else had to take over and that my car would not be ready Friday or throughout the weekend. I thanked her for being so nice throughout the process and just hung up. I ended up going up there to speak to a manager to find out exactly what the hell is going on and why I was being told 3/4 different stories of what was going on and he told me that the parts haven't even come in yet?! I told him I was told Wednesday that the parts WERE in and asked why I was lied to and his response was I don't know. Well, what I want to know is how he is a manager and doesn't know what his employees are saying to customers and why can't he get some type of organization going?! I know what he does know though and that is that my car has sat there for 10 days with not a single thing being done to it and he has no care whatsoever. Jane, your service department is OUT OF CONTROL, rude and just flat out unorganized. There's so many other things that happened since I've left my car there that I decided to leave out of this review just because it's already long enough. I will NEVER do business with any Vaden dealership again. I may just be one person but I'm one person they just lost business from for good.
