My family has used Dan Vaden Chevrolet for many years. Although I have heard horror stories about the service and sales of this Dealership, I have had only one bad experience but the Service Manager made that experience good. I have never had a bad experience with Sales. I have brought two new cars from Dan Vaden in the last 3-4 years and never had a bad experience , both times the sales staff was outstanding. In my most recent purchase, Tiffany was absolutely fantastic, and made my visit and the sales experience very relaxing and very less stress. I even gave her challenge that I did not think she could fulfill but she did, even if it did not have the moon roof :-), she got the main issue covered with ease Even liked the music they were playing in the show room.

Every single time I schedule service- I have a terrible experience. There is no point to having an appointment because there is always a 3-4 hour wait- no call to give a heads up about being behind or calling to reschedule for a different day. I ordered a tire also and it was the wrong tire- tech didn t even place my spare under my car, just placed it in trunk. Very disappointed with service and will not being coming back.

First off let me say that my salesperson MJ was pretty cool. She's a nice lady.. I drove from right outside of Charleston, SC to look at a left over 2017 Camaro 1LE that was advertised for a price of $31, 286 down from over $43000 on the MSRP. I get to the dealership, look at the car and I'm instantly turned off. The interior is filthy, there is dust all over the dashboard, some white substance on the door panels, dirt on the floor mats. We drive the car and it drives well. We get back to the dealership and their are fine scratches on both sides of the front bumper, scratches on the passenger's side of the rear bumper and when the hood is finally opened the engine bay is muddy. I get passed all that because I'm sure they'll clean the car up if I decide to buy it. I go back inside and MJ and I talk numbers....I immediately notice a bogus $698 "doc" fee for the car and I refuse it. The only price I'm considering is the $31,268 I was told the car would cost thru my internet inquiries. MJ walks out and in comes Eric, who I believe is the sales manager. He begins to tell me how I have to accept the price...how they won't go any lower and how I should just trade in my current car (a Ford FIesta) because I don't need three cars (I also told him that I have a Fusion) for the life of me I have never, ever had someone trying to sale me a car tell me I don't need a car. I reminded Eric that he was correct when he stated that I didn't need 3 cars so I'd just keep my current two and he could keep his Camaro. We shook hands and I left. Not even three minutes later MJ calls (twice) and I still refuse the sale. Minutes later Eric calls me apologizing and by this point I'm already on the highway heading back to South Carolina...then I get a call from the general manager and by this point I'm frustrated because clearly I don't want the car at this point. Today someone called and emailed me again. Seeing as how bad they want to get rid of this car (its been sitting on the lot for over a year) you'd think they would have had it cleaned up, I would have gotten better service and the salesmen would have not tried to insult me by telling me what I 'need ' and 'don't need.' I hope MJ finds a better job because the sales manager really made it clear to me that I really didn't need his Camaro, but he really did need to sale it. I will not be pressured into anything..especially a nearly 2 year old car that looks filthy. They've offered to throw in some accessories that I want and lower the price still..and my answer remains a "NO" Maybe next time Eric will keep his opinions to himself and act professionally with the next customer. Pushy sales tactics have never, ever worked on me.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this facility. My intention was to possibly trade in my Chevy truck for an Equinox or similar and keep the business in the family so to speak, but the salesman who was less than attentive to me, kept trying to persuade me into something that did not fit my criteria. Not only was he "pushing" an unwanted style and type on me, he left me unattended for lengthy periods at his desk while he checked on something or someone. I got the feeling he was juggling me and other walk-ins. The reception area is however clean and the personnel appeared professional. The set-up seems solid and the inventory is good but it's not particularly user friendly in that all the cars were locked and browsing leisurely was not something that appeared welcome. I was for the most part shadowed by a salesman who was unable to secure a key easily for any car I expressed an interest in. He was I hasten to add, not unpleasant, but sadly, far from polished and did not inspire me on any level to part with my $22k.

Our recent vehicle purchase was more pleasant than we expected. We felt like family as opposed to just another customer. From our initial contact with Alexis (I believe her name was) after our internet inquiry, all the way up to our closing was easy going. Our salesman, Rodney, was great to work with and we will refer any person we know that needs a vehicle to him in the future. He was super friendly to us, my sister and our kids. We went looking for something completely different but with Rodney's help we had a change of heart lol. He didn't pressure us into something we didn't want or just try to make another sale. Rodney made sure that what we drove off with worked for our family, space and monetarily-wise. We are more than satisfied with our purchase and our experience and would give our return business to this dealership again.

It would have been 5 stars if I did not get multiple calls looking to get a new vehicle. Service advisor was great even though she was one assigned when making appointment online. Follow up call next day informed how to change oil monitor, so she was very helpful. Maybe will give another chance when new building is done. All staff handled temporary areas well- just lots of puddles because of recent rain.

Both the purchase and subsequent service appointments for my vehicle have proven to be excellent. Appointments can be made online or over the phone, and the check in process is very easy. For each service visit you are paired with a personal service rep who communicates everything to you.

The dealership offers a shuttle service so that you don't have to wait around in the lounge - although the lounge is beyond adequate for waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. I was shuttled back to work with ease, and my service rep called when everything was done. Overall, I have been beyond satisfied with my experience.

The new building is fantastic, with a great area to wait for your vehicle while it is being serviced.

They said it was not possible to do a simple oil change and very unaccommodating, did not offer any solution or seem to care if I did not have an appointment. Working in a temporary office while waiting on the new facility has not dampened these guys enthusiasm one bit. Everyone, from the initial contact, to insurance, to finance. Had the truck a week to do a diagnostic, couldn't figure out the problem....want to still charge almost 800....service manager doesn't know why you need to know information, doesn't know where the truck is, couldn't help with anything except excuses on why it took so long....because we said we wanted it back. When we say we shouldn't pay that much told that we agreed to do it, yeah if it would fix the problem. Yet we are paying for a rental while the truck is here, paying the bill, having it towed off, to pay another shop to figure out what the problem is. The only thing this service department is good at is lying and not calling people back!!!

My husband and I trade in two trucks in and the Manager Josh at Dan Vaden in Beaufort SC mislead us on price for those trucks look at the paper work it was a lot lower than what we was told. They completely did my husband and I wrong. To me this is bad business. Sorry, for anyone that wants to do business with Dan Vaden Please I asking the public to stay away from these dealerships.

My caddie cts broke down with my daughter down in Savannah, Ga. I was unable to get to her at the time as we live in Augusta Ga. Called this dealership, talked to Mrs. Suzanne, told her the problem and explained the distance between mom and young daughter. Mrs. Suzanne got me in touch with a wrecker service in Savannah that would help my daughter get the car to them and bill me for tow in repair bill.....Buzz-a-round towing handled the tow.
Once at this facility, Mr. Matt took charge of my car, had me a diagnosis, price, and time line the very next morning.
Authorized part order and repair, and car was completed on 2nd day. Was allowed to pay over phone, keeping me from having to take the extra time of driving to Savannah just to pay repair bill.
Company kept me in the loop with updates, returned all calls promptly
Loved the service and the personal feel they gave me....even though I was over 150 miles away the entire transaction.

Let me start with telling you that before trusting them with my 10 challenger srt8 (after i was hit from the rear by negligent driver), i have "shopped" around visiting at least 5 dealerships and from the first time i have spoken to Mr. Preston, i knew this is the place i will get a great service. Sure enough Mr. Preston and his crew went above and beyond my expectations, ensuring that the car was repaired to my satisfaction and taking care of the problems neither i nor insurance adjuster knew the accident caused. I can't say enough how relieved and happy i am to know that such great, knowledgeable, hard working, honest and genuine professionals like Mr. Preston and his crew exist! That's definitely my number 1 shop choice for me and to recommend to others!

We purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Z71, nice truck. Part of the purchase included nitrogen filled tires and two free oil changes with tire rotation. Well here we are, our first oil change. Made an appointment for 1030 a.m. on a Monday. Service rep took the truck and stated it will be finished shortly. 1 1/2 hours later we are still sitting here. Asked the service rep the status and he stated another 30 minutes. When I asked about the nitrogen in the tires that I paid for, but was not put in the tires, he stated he'll see what he can do and claimed it takes about an hour and a half to change the oil..... Bottom line, avoid this place. Go somewhere else, the service is absolutely ridiculous. Also, while sitting here, we have had to deal with a "service liaison rep", whose sole job is to try and sell you another vehicle or useless extended warranty and maintenance package. It's a joke .You make an appointment, honor the appointment and don't tell customers it takes over 2 hours for a simple 10 minute oil change. Free is not worth the gas and time they stole from us.

Maybe buying a car from there is great, but if there's a recall on something, better just buy another car. I have had my new car in their shop for over 3 weeks, all they do is go AROUND the problem. I was told the flywheel was messed up. They replaced:the starter, fusebox, driveshaft, and even the transmission, but then won't touch the flywheel. Then they ignore our calls, and say:"we'll get back to you when we find out." If they answer!Well I'm still waiting. The guy who is working on my car, his name is Matt. And if Matt is working on your car, well hope you have plenty of patience, because you're screwed and you can talk to however many managers you want, but it's not gonna help cause they just ignore you. This is by far the WORST place to go for a car. I would just take it to Rincon chevy since I'm closer, but they say it will not be covered by another place, so either way you're out of luck. Do yourself a favor and don't even go there because it will be just a waste of time and breath arguing with them.

Terrible customer service in the service department. I wouldn't recommend their service department to anyone. Each time I've taken my Cadillac CTSup there for service I've had a incident where services requested we're ether not done like a tire rotation but was charged for it and even with an appointment I had to wait over 2 hours. Or half way done like a oil change. Where the skid panel wasn't reattached with screws causing it to fall off while driving. On top of that their so call service manager gives the impression of being all about customer service and never call back to address any of the issues I've had. Also you can't walk in the service department to make a appointment. You have to call a call center and they no nothing about cars if you have some questions. I will never have them to work on anything I own again I'd recommend just going to Critz GNC and Buick. Their customer service is way better.

The worst service. I've never and I mean never seen so much unprofessional people in my life. Can lie so much. ( This is the service department Ian talking about ) I had to go all the way to Hitonhead Island SC, to get my SUV service. When I tell you every time I go there, they give me the run around, I've just had enough of the crap. They need to put videos inside the service department and they'll see just how and the facial expression they have when dealing with customers. I refuse to go back there, even though I purchase my cadlliac SRX there. I refuse. And that rental or loner car, that's a lie and they know it. Either you have to fuse to get one or you just want have one. Even when you have an appointment, they still give you issues. I have my own thought why is that, but that another issues.

Fun and comfortable buying experience. When we arrived we entered a big, bright showroom with a cool vintage car up front and of course the newest cool sports cars too. Our salesman Scott took the time to get to know us personally and really get a feel for what we were looking for. He didnt try to rush us into the first thing we saw, and in the end found my son the perfect fit. This car fit in our price range and checked off all the boxes. In house we got a new insurance policy and easy low financing. The total process went smoothly and we left with an amazing ride feeling really good about our purchase. Having made two purchases with Dan Vaden Chevrolet, I am satisfied with the outcomes. This last experience on October 7, 2017 was a little harrowing because of the renovation of the dealership. Having to go to different car lots spread across Abercorn was confusing due to not being able to go directly out on the lot outside the office to make comparisons. But, all in all, Keane Williams was a very patient salesman and Levell a very entertaining closer.

I recently took my Chevy Cruze to Vaden when the check engine light came on. We had an 8:30 appointment but dropped it off around 7:45am. The service tech asked if I would be able to leave the car over night and I told him that since I had an 8:30am appointment I expected it would be done in a day. He told me they would run a diagnostic and he would call me with the results. I gave him my phone number and told him to be sure to call my number. Around 11:30am he called my wife and left a voicemail. He never said he worked for Dan Vaden or why he was calling just said "this is ____ please call me back". My wife forwarded the voicemail to me. I began calling. I left this person several voicemails but could never get a call back. Next I started calling the general Vaden number and asked to be transferred to the service department. Finally around 4pm another service employee spoke with me and told me the results of the diagnostic and said they would need to keep the car over night but would have it ready the next day. So the next day around 11:30am I still have not heard a word about my car so I start calling. Sure enough I leave 2 voicemails that never get returned. So again I have to start calling the service department and asking others to provide me with an update on my vehicle.

Anytime I needed an update I had to call and call to get answers. I felt like the associate was avoiding me and refusing to call me about my vehicle. This turned out to be a $1000 job.

This seems to be a repetitive issue for me with Dan Vaden Chevy. I will avoid buying a Chevy in the future so I can avoid having to work with this service department.

Horrible service department!! We recently purchased a new GMC Acadia through Dan Vaden in Beaufort. Had a great sales experience, but at the end we discovered the sunroof shade has a broken latch. We were told no problem- you can bring it to any GM dealer in Savannah and they can fix it. A couple days after purchasing the vehicle, the rear bucket seat seatbelt got stuck. So I made an appointment with Dan Vaden Chevy in Savannah to fix the seatbelt and the sunroof latch. Even with an appointment, my husband was there for over 2 hours. They supposedly fixed the seatbelt, but said they would need to order the part for the sunroof and would call us when it came in. That was over 3 weeks ago and we have still not received a call. On top of that- the WORST PART is- yesterday we discovered that the seat belt they supposedly fixed, no longer tightens when breaking. This is the seat that my 5 year old sits in. Luckily she was not injured when we discovered this, but to say we are upset is an understatement!! So now I'm going to have to drive an hour back to the dealer I bought it from, because I have ZERO trust in Dan Vaden Chevy's service department.

Our Chevy Volt has been the best car we've ever owned. A warranty covered problem came up suddenly that required a week of being without our car in order to get the part needed. Dan was our service rep and took very good care of us, making sure we had a loaner car to use until our Volt was ready. Thank You to all who helped us out with our Volt !

We were traveling from Virginia to Florida on Hwy 95 in our Chevy Trax when the AC stopped working. Savannah was the closest town with a Chevy dealer, so we went to the Dan Vaden Dealership. It was after 4PM when we arrived, but Krystle, the service manager, arranged for our car to be looked at right away. It turned out that a rock had put a hole in the AC Condenser. We spent the night in town and they fixed the AC first thing the next morning. One of their staff, Lamont, drove us to two hotels (the first one messed up our reservation) and made sure we had a room at the 2nd hotel before leaving. They also picked us up in the morning to take us back to the Dealership. I would highly recommend their service. They helped us on short notice and their staff was very professional and helpful. Thank you!

I went in for a simple brake pads and flush job, nothing else was wrong with my car, paid $527 for it to be done (price gouging like a MF), as soon as I left my check engine light started blinking, my system trak light came on and it was shaking as I drove it, I took it back now all of the sudden I need a Valve replacement and a new battery and Spark plugs none on which I needed before I took it there for the brake pads, it is all a scam to keep you coming back for more work done, they fix one thing and mess another up so they can keep charging you more money every time you come back.

The people at Dan Vaden took care of me for my turn in for an oil service along with an issue that I had with my suspension. Matthew ensured that they will do their best to take care of the issue in a timely manner at which they did. He explained to me what caused the problem and if I had anymore issues to contact him and bring the car back in. A day after my car got serviced. I had received a call from the customer service asking if the car had anymore problems and if so to not hesitate to bring the car back in. The customer service from Matthew and company was exceptional and I am glad to have purchased a car from this dealership.

Heath Graham is the best employee I have ever met at this dealership. He is the only one that goes above and beyond for me and my family. I've never bought a vehicle from any other dealership. This guy deserves top pay for all he does. Thanks again Heath Graham!

Absolutely nothing...terrible customer service. Took 13 phone calls before I got 1 return call and they still could not get it right. All I wanted was my keys for my truck to be at the front desk. When I finally got there they were the wrong keys

I took my vehicle to Dan Vaden Chevrolet for service, and it was there for 2 weeks. Not one time did I receive a courtesy call, or update on the progress being made. The service advisor that was in charge of keeping me updated on said progress, never once called me. I tried calling him myself on the direct phone number on his business card that he provided, but he never answered. I would leave messages to call me, which he never returned. I had to literally go there to check up on the progress of my vehicle myself. (3 different times!) He would always say that my vehicle would be ready on the next day, which would be a lie. He also once claimed that he called someone with the same last name as mine to give an update, and thought that it was me. Which was total BS. I was told not to take my vehicle there by a couple of different people, and I wish that I had listened. Of course, I can't help but think if I had been treated better, and the outcome would have been different if I was a Caucasian female, instead of African-American. Two weeks my vehicle is there, and no phone call, No nothing?
