I brought my Chevy Malibu in for service because it kept reducing power and my check engine light was on. I was asked to leave my car on Wednesday, August 29th and would have my car back the following Wednesday. Well, I call back the day I'm supposed to have it and was told that the pistons were consuming my oil and they had to be replaced so the car would not be ready until Friday, September 7th. I was a little frustrated considering I was too young to be given a loaner car and too young to rent a car so I would be left without a way to go for another 2 days or so but I know they are busy with other cars as well so I patiently waited it out for the other 2 days. Friday comes and I call around 11 that morning to check on the status of my vehicle and was told that it was being inspected but was assured that it would be ready to go that afternoon. I was beyond happy so I waited for a few hours and called back around 3:00 to see if everything was finished but to my surprise, they said they didn't know about the car and would check with the technician and give me a callback within 10-15 minutes. I waited until about 3:30 or so and called them back myself and was then told that they had not fixed the car and were still trying to pinpoint the problem. At that point, I realized something was up and started to believe that for the past 9-10 days my car had been there it was not looked at nor fixed nor had ANYTHING done to it. I explained to her how long the car had been there and asked why nothing had been done yet and her exact response was I don't know. I can only relay a message. I just hung up. I got a call back from Angela who is my service advisor (the only one up there who seems to have ANY customer service experience) and she politely told me that a technician had quit that was working on my car so now someone else had to take over and that my car would not be ready Friday or throughout the weekend. I thanked her for being so nice throughout the process and just hung up. I ended up going up there to speak to a manager to find out exactly what the hell is going on and why I was being told 3/4 different stories of what was going on and he told me that the parts haven't even come in yet?! I told him I was told Wednesday that the parts WERE in and asked why I was lied to and his response was I don't know. Well, what I want to know is how he is a manager and doesn't know what his employees are saying to customers and why can't he get some type of organization going?! I know what he does know though and that is that my car has sat there for 10 days with not a single thing being done to it and he has no care whatsoever. Jane, your service department is OUT OF CONTROL, rude and just flat out unorganized. There's so many other things that happened since I've left my car there that I decided to leave out of this review just because it's already long enough. I will NEVER do business with any Vaden dealership again. I may just be one person but I'm one person they just lost business from for good.
