The Dan Hotel, Mount Scopus Jerusalem, was a day spa that included breakfast, massage therapy and use of facilities, pool and Jacuzzi. The hotel was quite crowded with guests. Breakfast was varied and fresh. The service providers are kind and welcoming. The visit experience was good overall.

If I may choose a hotel for the next time, I will definitely choose DAN Hotel. All in one, you do not need a thing. Awesome view, cafe, restaurant, kind receptionists and personal, quiet place close to the centre of Jerusalem. I recommend.

A place where I would definitely return, very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. The guys at the reception were very friendly despite not speaking Spanish, they let themselves be understood very well. I have very good memories, especially from a security guy named Ariel who was the one who helped my family and me with the language, he was very helpful and kind, what a pleasure it was to find a person who speaks Spanish. Congratulations for counting your staff with a person who knows how to speak Spanish. In short, my stay and that of my family was very pleasant. When we return to Israel we will definitely stay there. Despite not speaking English.

In honor of my birthday, my husband and I went to Jerusalem, to the Dan Hotel.
The truth? I'm already waiting for the next time we'm there. Just no words, the attitude of the staff, the cleanliness, the service, the food, just everything was perfect! Thanks to the lovely hotel staff who took care and called the room to find out if everything was fine, for the water we wanted at 2 at night and within a few seconds took care of us, special thanks to Jeremy for the warm and loving attitude. No words, just recommend to everyone!
Truly wholeheartedly it was a fun experience and a very happy birthday. The room opposite the old town, how beautiful and relaxing it is, especially at night, is simply stunning.
Already waiting to come again, thank you very much

Excellent service.

Excellent service.
Who took care of us with great devotion. With a human attitude. A waiter named Kotov.
There were more waiters like him.

Having a Horrible experience at this hotel. first I got room 111 the tabacco smell on that room was Horruble, the minute I walked on that door my troat started to itch and close. this. triggers my ashma. I called reception and got the run around as this rooms are smoking free! well someone did not care about this policy and smoked away on that room. I was told the hotel was overbooked. not my problem. I called Yair my tourist guide and tol him about the situation. Finally I was offered another room, this one doesnt have the tabacco smell but I was downgrated to a room that makes this noise non stop. 24/7 I am now on room 433. not sure what is making that noise but its giving me a sharp ear pain that woke me up and. will not let me sleep. Took pain meds but no success my ears husrt really bad. I hate this hotel so far. it's a shame that instead of corecting the issue they would give us a. worst room than the one we had. Shame on you Dan Jerusalem Hotel Manager.

Old-fashioned "tired" hotel and kept low .. did not wait for an orderly check out and "threw" us out of the room that should have been until 11 o'clock! In short nice but not worth the price

I would like to be precise and clarify after the hotel's response to me for the review, that I will not return to stay at this hotel and even recommend to my friends not to come to this hotel.
Of course the parking, which many guests posted in the posts I read, is also very problematic!

Old hotel. The room was in good condition no more. I expected the experience of a quality hotel and did not really get it. The location of the hotel is not very good. The dining room has plenty of food and only a rope in the corner of the cakes has annoying pies. My opinion is also at a cheaper price. This is not the chain of hotels I know.

Jeremy Wess was extraordinarily kind hearted. His caring attitude and sense of humor made you fell right at home. We
looked forward to his daily joke. I loved it! All of their staff made our five stay a memorable one. I will definitely stay there on my next visit to Jerusalem.

Not as nice as the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv. Had we stopped here first on our tour, it wouldn't have been as much of an issue. Sadly, this was our second stop and this hotel was not the winner in comparison. The breakfast buffet didn't have as much variety of choices, although the choices they had were very good. The most disappointing thing about the hotel was the front desk staff. They double as front desk and concierge, which makes their lack of excellent customer service extra disappointing. They can have several guests waiting and continue talking amongst themselves without acknowledging the guests or ending their conversation. When they do greet you, the reason you have come to them becomes an imposition, even for something as simple as currency exchange. I stayed here for 5 days and dealt with the front desk a number of times at varying times of day and for varying reasons. A few were very helpful, but I was surprised that I repeatedly received a similar reaction to my requests, even though my requests for information were not unusual or complex. This was my first visit to Jerusalem. I will probably explore other options for hotels in the city on my next visit.

Many thanks to the GM (Yehuda Kraus) of this hotel. He made me feel very welcome and its appreciated ;) Great hospitality. A wonderful room. Loved the interior design and architecture of this hotel. Wonderful views, comfortable bed, great facilities (i was in a suite however - thanks to the manager).
Friendly efficient reception and bar staff. The food is great, buffet style and all the staff including the bar staff are friendly, welcoming, efficient chatty. It DOES make a difference.
The staff in the restaurant do a great job considering how busy it is.
ONE thing I can find fault with (which did cause one of my member of my group to moan moan moan, although to fair she did have a point, the food in the restaurant on the 9th march was not labelled. Its obvious what some things were, but not for everything. Personally I didn't care, but for others it was an issue.
This is perhaps a small detail but it shouldn't have happened even more so considering on the 10th and 11th this wasn't an issue. I can only imagine someone isn't doing their job as they should. Maybe the restaurant manager was off? Even so, somebody else could have noticed or cared to have noticed and corrected the situation

We visited the spa in the Dan hotel. Although the mesuz was very good, the facilities are absolutely disgraceful. Starting with the changing rooms which haven't been cleaned (not to mention renovated) in a while, and down to the showers which felt like the showers of a cheap hostel. The service was less than welcoming. The feeling is that the Dan hotel does everything it can to barely make it in the market. Shame.

This modern and spacious hotel was the ideal base for our group of 50 during our stay and tour of Jerusalem. The rooms were clean and functional while the food matched their 5-star rating.

We have been at the Hyatt Hotel for two days before Rosh Hashanah and we wanted to thank the whole staff for the cleanliness and care that will always be pleasant.
Beyond that in each room we received Dove shampoo, Dove body soap, Bedin washing gel, and general cleanser Sixth Mineral water and immediate response to any problem is not a matter of course Thank you very much all the staff greatly appreciate and we will reach you again only out of health and happiness Busquila family

Regarding the spa - the place is spacious, large and has many and many facilities. Along with this the maintenance is moderate, the telephone answering is very poor and the cafeteria is awkward. The cost of parking it leaves a bad taste. Overall good experience but definitely not a luxury hotel.

We were on a fun day with a family. Good morning but when we wanted an omelet on the order it turned out that all the additions were over and only green onions, yellow cheese and parsley remained, and nobody could complete what was missing in such a large hotel? 2 very beautiful pools including heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is a children's club - Danny Kalab - which should have been open from 10 but not, it was closed without any explanation. A lot of space to rest in fun. But because of all the little things that are very annoying does not reach 5 stars.

The entrance is sumptuous, with fountains and large spaces. The rooms are dated, carpeted on the floors, moldy and poorly functioning bathrooms. No energy savings, since you can leave the lights and heating on when you leave the room. buffet is very abundant, but not particularly well-kept.

We arrived for breakfast and massage at the spa
The mass meal although the food is fresh and service not bad
The spa was poor at poor maintenance. The spa showers are public and miserable showers
The massage was the most unprofessional we ever received. The emphasis was on smelling huge amounts of oil
Non-professional massagers who have no idea of massage
Do not meet minimum standards
Do not approach anywhere

We were hosted in a large conference (about 500), the level of hospitality, service and food were above and beyond expectations. The staff were courteous and serviced, the food delicious, fresh and varied and the refreshments at conferences was rich and pampering. warmly recommended
