Very good hotel in prime area. About 10 minutes walk to the heart of Ginza. Price is high for just room no free amenities such as gym, pool, etc. But room amenities are good Shisedo products and two free bottles of water. Staff speaks good English. Nearby is Lawson and Family Mart.

By the way, the bed is amazing. I slept like a baby even though I usually get insomnia when traveling.

About breakfast (underground buffet and 2nd floor restaurant Western food)
I used Daiichi Hotel Tokyo for the first time from April 4 to 6th.
Choose underground buffet for the first breakfast of 2 nights.
There were no tablecloths, desks and chairs were poor, and it was a venue reminiscent of (old) public accommodation for students.
Being guided to the seat of the person in the back who was in the Garan where only one pair had eaten (there is no service offer after that).

The second night is Western food of the restaurant on the second floor.

Although it was Oita ago, I stayed for a night on the way from my northeastern part to Shizuoka with my mother one month after my hip surgery.

New building hotel.
It's close to the station and there are plenty of restaurants around it, so it's convenient, and it's just a short distance from the entertainment district to the business district, so it's relatively quiet at night. (There were lots of mice in the back alleys of restaurants near the hotel)

Hotel services include instant tea and coffee, combs, toothbrushes, shaving and other amenities related to the front desk on the 2nd floor.
It was a problem without the wifi in the room being too slow. It was a general feeling, but it was easy to spend.

Amazing place with great service! Rooms are absolutely amazing and it is definitely one of the best hotels I have seen in Tokyo. The only downside , we saw a small cockroach running around the sync in the morning as we were getting ready to leave.

When I checked in, the front of the hotel opened a room with a view of Tokyo Tower, so I asked if it would be changed there and was able to see a very beautiful night view at night. I am grateful to the staff for their care. Also the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was very delicious.

The food and drink in the basement is plain but grainy. it's recommended.

We used Christmas dinner of the world buffet Etoile. It was normal and delicious, but there were few ingredients.

We have a tour begin at this hotel. Its absolutely gorgeous on the inside. We didn't stay at the hotel itself so I don't know how the rooms are. We plan to come back to Japan and this hotel is definitely a place we would like to stay at next timen

Great hotel with an old fashion sense of style and service.......which is a good thing! Rooms are a decent size, well equipped and clean. Good selection of restaurants which each cater for a slightly different style of breakfast, so you really are spoilt for choice. In a great location, minutes walk from Ginza shopping district and the Imperial Palace. Also closeby to the many small restaurants under the railway arches. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a new bridge to the point and no complaints. Especially the toilet is beautiful.

Spacious hotel with easy access to everything. While it is in the old style but it was very well maintained. Love the spacious room and bathroom. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There's an underground access to Shimbashi station that was great for hot Tokyo summer day. Lots of food around the area. I'll stay there again!

We had sukiyaki (a course of 10,000 yen) delicious.

On the day of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the train on the way back was not moving, so I evacuated to the lobby. Most of the shops were closed and it was pitch black in the city. Hotel facilities are good. But I do not deserve a shopping mall near the hotel. I think there are a lot of office workers in commuting to work. Daiichi Hotel Tokyo and Annex Annex, there are three restaurants in the hotel's self-catering breakfast. There are a variety of items inside the room. Cleansing gel, shampoo and so on. I do not think it's a good idea to stay in Shinbashi station, but I do not think there are other facilities in this area.

No doubt that the hotel is in good location and the rooms are very comfortable. The sad part is that even the natural disasters will not stop the hotel to charge the room rate for customer. My flight was rescheduled by airline due to the typhoon in hongkong, hence I arrived one day later than my booked reservation dates. I had called the hotel to inform about the same. But there was no hospitality for the situation I went through and hotel charged as per my original booking. My Japanese friend came to the hotel to request them to charge only for my stay but they denied. My friend said this behaviour is really not common in Japan. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for best hospitality. I am unhappy

Rooms are ok and very clean. Staff is very friendly.
The location is great, especially the direct metro access is very convenient.

3 minutes from Shimbashi Station City hotel with calm atmosphere

For a 4 star hotel and at the cost, it's a fantastic place to stay! Surpassed my expectations. Everyone was very helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. We booked on hotwire and unfortunately ended up with a smoking room but it was still fine for a week. We weren't huge fans of their breakfast buffet but it's a very quick walk to the Park Hotel which has a great buffet if you're looking for a nice mix of East and West.
