How could the staff of this hospital give Penicillin to someone who is allergic. #JusticeforMireille
I strongly advise against it ... The service is bad.The waiting time is really long ... I entered at noon and 1am I was not yet pass so I leave ... The hospital is dirty ... Most of the staff his stupid with patients ... Waiting waiting on the emergency side much too small ... No TV no clock .... The staff is not competent at all they are slow ... Very slow ... All his to say that I advise against ... In less than you get into a major problem ... But if no .. Its not worth it .... .. I have a bad experience and I will not go back to this hospital ...
The wait is long for nothing and they are not driving enough for an emergency
My father has been there for 1 week because of a urinary tract infection he is currently in delirium and a supposed very good neurologist said that delirium is permanent whereas when I looked on the CHUM website for information on delirium, it is clearly indicated that it only lasts 2 weeks or more in very rare cases. He had the brow to say that my father was ready to leave the hospital but he has a hard time walking !!! my mother objected to taking him home until he was able to walk and returned to reality. What a bunch of incompetent these doctors!
Priority 2 and waited over 4 hours a chance it priority 2 mean Super Urgent...
Long wait, even for a childbirth, 8 hours without a doctor with the baby's head stuck or you know!
Dr. Malouf was supposed to arrive at 12 noon and he arrived at 6 pm.
1 star is more than enough. This hospital is worst hospital in greater Montreal. I want to give 0 star.
I waited 14 hours before seeing a doctor and at each call I stay 30 minutes in the diagnostic rooms before the doctor shows up. On June 28th, I arrive at 23:30 in the emergency room I have the next day, which is June 29 at 13:30 and I receive the final diagnosis at 16:00. I had extremely bad shoulder after an aggression. First I am waited 4 hours before even seeing a nurse and every 3 hours a new nurse gives me a new evaluation and gives me different code 2 to 4 (the 3 nurses who treat me are not even able to have a similar evaluation), make me swallow 12 "painkiller" pills in 8 hours. I complained several times because I was extremely hurt and I absolutely wanted to see a doctor, the nurse was passing people whose condition was much less urgent, even the other patients when discussed said that they find his abnormal. The behavior of a particular nurse was pure racism, it was clearly ethnicity discrimination. When I speak politely to the nurse she answers me here it's like her if you're not happy complain to the government. It is a catastrophic experience, my last visit to public hospitals in Quebec !!!
Brought in for what I believed to be high blood pressure but discovered the problem was my heart. Amazing staff who quickly assessed the situation and arranged for my operation within 2 weeks of being admitted.
The urgency is a garbage can, the wait times of a minimum croc-pot, the ambulances take the patients outside! it's beautiful in winter or when it's raining. The hospital is dirty.
On the other hand, some MDs, nurses and other very professional. help them.
Pay parking to beat the sick and caregivers. And to complete them, the residential streets in the neighborhood preventing the parking. Thank you neighbors for the compassion.
The height of incompetence in the Quebec health system. Very difficult to reach anyone through their faulty telephone system to which no one answers anyway. Do you want to let a message? Forget it, no voicemail for most departments and when there are, messages are not returned. Making a complaint is also useless, nothing changes.
Very bad service, too late waiting, nurses do not give a follow up to the passions.
Really too disappointed, since 07Pm until 5:00 AM, my daughter has not seen the doctor yet.
for me it's going to be the last time I go to this hospital.
Good service received from the staff i recommend this place
Very bad experience. After 19 hours in the ER with my 4 years old daughter we left without results. We going to try a clinique.
Fast sorting. 5h to be supported p3 by cons all analyzes are done quickly and for the final results in emergencies 40 minutes. The medical staff is pro active and empathetic except for the inscription which is unpleasant.
some social worker and incompetent psychiatrist. do not do any tests, do not sign papers under the influence of drugs, do not listen to what vs say, vs lock up under the pretense of psychosis when vs can prove your claims. No wonder they are banning the cell phone from some section of the hospital for fear of being registered and showing their incompetence. In any case I hope it was a psychiatrist and not a psychologist because if it was a psychologist she would be wrong to prescribe medication.
Charles Le Moyne Hospital is a shame. It well deserves its reputation of being the worst in Quebec.
Absolutely terrible service at the emergency room. Not only was the curly red head nurse in a bad mood but she was extremely rude to me and another patient right in front of me and then had the nerve to look at me and ask "is it just me or are people stupid tonight?" I said "excuse me?" And she said "nevermind". Super rude and impatient woman. And I thought pierre boucher was bad...
Was operated on Thursday that went fine. The staff was great then I get put in a room and at first everything is fine then when I'm finally able to sleep 12:30 they wake me up to take vitals, cool, then at 1:30 am they come in to get my roommate for an operation, but not delicate about it at all. Then they come back at 4:00 again same thing as loud as possible. The next night again at 12:30 then at 3:30 they need to give my semi private room that my insurance is paying for to someone else and stuck me in a ward. The overnight staff here have absolutely no sympathy. On top of all that the women's gyno section is with children who are crying and screaming day and night. How the hell are you supposed to sleep or get any kind of rest, I'm better off at home where it's quiet and my family can watch over me.
Never seen such incompetence on the part of the staff of a hospital. No but seriously is this a joke? Do not go there your condition is not going to get worse it will get worse. They are mostly racist around the edges (a bit much)
Very bad, absolutely bad. I don t like this hospital. Especially la Clinique extrene de pediatrie whenever I call for taking an appointment. They aren t not taking my calls after half an hour when they pick up my calls, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and after they says that have no places.and this happens with me several time. This is horrible. I experienced the personals who are taking care of calls, they don t do their job well, they are always talking with each other and walking around. I saw them, when I was present there.
This is the second time I have been to the emergency room, the first time being for a stray cat bite. My hand was enormously swollen, all we did in 12 hours was smear my hand to see if the swelling was getting worse. The doctor was astonished to see that we waited so long to give me a vaccine against tetanus, result I had to go to do a treatment in antibacteriology which could have been avoided if taken care of when arriving. Second triage experience, my 1 year old son has episodes where he becomes blue-mauve lips, difficulty breathing, fever, unable to sleep, irritable, in short, we evaluate it for fever .... When I was called back triage, the nurse tells me to go home since the fever is falling and she doesn't understand what I'm talking about her lips bluish because it has never been marked on the record !!!! I even called a pediatrician before moving and they told me to go to the emergency room quickly, something I also mentioned at triage. Anyway, I went to the ER last night for nothing because pediatrics takes care of it. Thank you emergencies ....
I would like to thank all the staff in the oncology department for the great care I received during my treatments.
thank you!
Had to wait 45 minutes for a tyleneol when i broke my ankle. The nurses are nice but the orthopedic doctors are useless and give you attitude as if they were better than you
I think this Hospital should be simply closed. He's not in patient care, how can anyone wait a whole day in the emergency room?
With a disorganized functioning system.
I am really sorry. I think going to this hospital is killing yourself in the emergency room.
A truly awful service. Total lack of courtesy. Must be trained in the basics of customer service. You can't always come into conflict with patients / clients. Recycling on the quality of ssrvice is essential
One of the worst hospitals I've ever experienced ! Would not recommend! If you want to be treated friendly and in a desent time, go somewhere else. Had an accident about 3 years ago and needed some scans. "Leave your papers with us, we'll call you", they said. Same thing when I called for a follow up. STILL nothing.
Finally, after I couldn't move my arms properly, and they got nump and painful, I went to an other hospital, and look at that, within a month, all done. My spine is demaged, could have had it fixed before it got that bad.
Friendly staff but there is a glaring need for human resources to meet the needs of the region's customers who continue to experience long hours of waiting for years without any improvement!
My family has had good experiences here. Well, good in terms of service. Bad in terms of one of us was sick.
Staff efficient, smiling, pleasant.
Clean, welcoming and modern hospital.
I recommend :)
We had been on an emergency since 6pm. And we had yet to meet the doctor at 6am in the morning. So long to wait. There were very few people in the emergency room and we would have to wait at least 12 hours. It doesn't make sense.
My 3 year old boy is split his head. Arrived at the emergency 67th (on the waiting list .... We are told there is no doctor !!!!!! A hospital without a doctor! Cut their food .... The triage secretary could find an alternative (after all it's them the pros ... no?) After some research (without help from the hospital) we turned to Sainte-Justine (Montreal) where there had only 1 person in the waiting room ... but no doctor .... damn republic of bananas we have !!! what is that ????
Give me back my taxes ... I'll arrange myself!
The place is well organized although some staff may not behave well with people there are also others who are really very nice
very beautiful experience for me
especially on the third floor !!!!!
thank you
Perfect organization for top care.
Thank you for your good care!
came here 2 time and each time i had to wait 18 hours.
first time i came with my dad he broke his neck and he was screaming in the hall ways he was becoming paralyzed and loosing sensation from his hand. i ask tye nurse that he needs help after 2 hours she came and said " he is not gonna die just wait " and left.
do not go to this hospital i made a same mistake 2 times.
most of the day they dont even have a doctor in emergency.
I went here for a lump on my throat. Terrified the living hell out of me ... I was told i am not a priority and was given an appointment the next day. No big deal. Was told my appointment was at 2 and i got taken in at 6.. For an appointment!! Was told i had an infected tooth and i should get it fixed asap since its dangerous . got antibiotics. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, and shoo'd me out as soon as he could. Went to a different hospital in Montreal and within 4 hours i was being sent to a nearby dentist for a wisdom tooth removal because it was at a dangerous phase.
If you have the resources to- go to CHUM in Montreal instead. This place is horrid. Id give a zero if i could.
If you have a stroke or cardiac arrhythmia, you're in good hands, but if you feel that you're going to explode with cramping cramps
with fever your next doctor will perhaps be the one who will come back from his vacation .... maybe !!! 12 hours of waiting and well fed in tylenol
Non-assistance to people in distress and discrimination against people with disabilities. Sincerely, 0 stars!
... and don't provide a mask of the right size ... if you don't have a good immune system and you are forced to move to a place like this ...
Terrible emergency department, nurses have no empathy
0 star is more than enough for you people! The staff works on a robotic scheme, no updates, no respect for visitors, and most importantly RACIST! This hospital should change every single staff in here!
Professional, polite and helpful staff from the receptionist to blood test, heart and MRI.
Merci beaucoup
Honestly you'd be better to self diagnose and self medicate. Adult with 4 day high fever brought in by ambulance and presently at 14 hours. Inept, inefficient, indifferent and ignorant
The service is horrible, waited for 6hours and no one cares about you, I was suffering from great pain in stomach and they still put people that they think is more "Urgent " in front of you no matter how much earlier you came before them, felt like never gonna be my turn because they kept squeezing people in front of you, I waited 6 hours and my place got even more behind than where I was, are you freaking kidding me? They don't care if you are in pain because they can't feel it and can't see it!
I have always been dealing with friendly staff who knew what to do, and who did not treat me like I was wasting their time. I went there for cataract surgeries. And everything went well.
I came here midnight i waited very long like 20 hours till they diagnose appendicitis. After that i stayed two nights nurses were friendly, good food, good doctor for free. That why i put 5 stars.
If I could give this place a negative I would. I checked in at 6pm on the dot. I came with my 11 month old who had been vomiting and diarrhea for the past two days and i just couldn t take seeing her like that anymore and this is the closest hospital to me. 1. The French staff is extremely rude. They don t even try to speak English. And I speak French but not fluently so to get the right information to them I need to speak in English. 2. I spent 6 hours waiting to see a doctor that I never saw for my infant .I asked multiple times why my daughter hadn t been seen and that she was flush red... she said your daughter is not priority I saw people come in three hours after me go home before me.. until finally the lady who was with her teen daughter sitting next to me who got there almost three hours after me got called before my infant baby.. to see a doctor I just had enough and I packed up and left. And I will not be coming back to this hospital. Worst hospital I ve ever been to . And I ve been to quite a few. And this by far takes the win for worst hospital in history and this isn t the first time I ve waited hours to not be seen. How dare they make me spend the night in a waiting room with my sick infant and no follow up information. On top of alll of this. The security guard was going around waking people out their sleep in the waiting for for laying down.. just right down awful experience. And never again.
What good things to say! Thank you to the staff thank you to everyone for a second great delivery experience!
Very professional staff in any treatment in an outpatient clinic
mockery of people, no professionalism and poorly educated staff
Parking difficult.
Upon arrival you must find a parking which is difficult because there is little.
The service is according to traffic at the Emergency, but normally there is a lot of waiting.
For other departments, the service is good. The staff is dedicated to the patients' cause, but lacks staff and space.
Having been able to give less than one star I would have done. My wife has a periodical urinary tract infection, we go to emergency because this time, her problem is not resolved after 13 days and 2 different antibiotics. We are made to see a specialist in urology, the so-called "doctor" P. Arjane and he do not bother to examine my wife, the consultation lasted 5 minutes and in her little swollen head, my wife is impatient of the bladder. He prescribes 2 medications, one for impatience of the bladder and an anti-pain. When my wife enumerates her symptoms, he takes an arrogant air and asks him; what do you want me to do? SORRY? My wife tells him that it's been two weeks and that it gets worse every day and that we have been in the emergency department for 12 hours, answers him; do you know how long have I been here? A nurse came after her presidential exit to give us the prescriptions and the hospital card, my wife gave him a brief overview of the situation and even she finds that it has no pace and that this doctor has a reputation for bad character. Luckily, the rest of the people we meet are professional. Finally the verdict with a competent doctor; descent of bladder and irritation and inflammation of the urethra, further tests with camera will be necessary but let's say, not thanks to this famous Arjane .... no compassion or humanity, in short a shit graduate!
16 hours waiting to see a doctor. The reassessing nurse who tries to convince the patient to leave and go to endure his pain and wait for it to pass, while the symptoms correspond to those of a serious reaction to a new medication, for which the patient is recommended to consult urgently. Can not have the usual medication during the 16 hours of waiting, again with a completely unhelpful attitude of the nursing staff. To avoid.
Today, I went there around 12:05 in the afternoon and I left the hospital at 2:00 in the morning without being able to consult a doctor after 14 hours of presence.IMAGINEZ VOUSz! the staff members were extremely rude and uncivil. They run a prison and not a hospital because they behave exactly like bad prison guards in the movies. They do not let you talk and behave in a very uncivilized way.
today i was there at about 12:05 in the afternoon and i left the hospital at 2:00 am without being able to see the doctor for a while for 14 hours.IMAGINE! the staf were extremely rude and uncivil.they are running a prison not a hospital because they really like prison guards in movies. They do not let you talk and they are very uncivilized.
I have a tcc and i had so-called extreme fatigue i slept almost all the time and it's my find my problem now its going a lot better
More than 13 hours to be seen by a doctor in the ER, if you can t handle public health properly, make it private, I wouldn t bother having other choices
1 star is too much for that place. They dont deserve the 1 star. This could be the worst hospital that i visited in my life. Impolite And unprofessional.
Waited for 6 hours with possible broken ankle. Gave up after that as was told it could be another 4 hours easily. I'm from the UK on holiday and this is my last day here. I will wait until I get home..... I would rather endure the pain. The staff are rude. The car park machines are rubbish and the vending machine didn't work. I'm sore and hungry and now have to take my broken ankle on a plane. AVOID.
nurses in emergency triage are doing their job well, they are fast, efficient, and fine. what is flat is that it looks like there is only one doctor: waiting time between 12h and 16h. In 16h, we receive 10patients. I left with my daughter of 14 months to 40.2 of fever, after 3 days of fever and recent infections. she had three such episodes of fever during the wait where she moaned and shivered, was given tylenol and waited for 16h. it's a real torture.
Staff very dedicated to patients and always smiling
I have not been there particularly, but many people have died there by negligence. It is better to go directly to a coronary than to see a doctor in this hospital, or worse to be interned there.
Limited access during the night: doors in front of the locked parking lot between 12:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. and also alongside Taschereau Boulevard. This information is only given to you when you arrive at the door. You have to go to the emergency room, but you are not told anywhere that it is THE ONLY OPEN DOOR to enter. So go around the hospital overnight with a baby in your arms during a snowstorm = really very unpleasant.
It is a hospital, not a bank.
Also, like 99% of all Quebec hospitals, the wait varies between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. (no joke).
The worst hospital I have seen in my life !! You come home sick .. you go out even sicker
Super service on December 25th !! Thank you to the person who was at registration and triage !! Despite having spent Christmas in the hospital, I had excellent service! Thank you
The urgency is hard !!! But on the floors the service and excellent !!!
Looks stupid to the gentleman who answers the call for orthopedics!
Service and your voice is mediocre.
Worst hospital for emergencies ! Nurses rate your level of emergency on a scale from one to five once you arrive, one being the most urgent. They are the worst judges. They gave me a 4 when both my eyes were infected and I could barely see and my situation was getting worse the longer I waited. Basically I waited 16 hours to have the doctor look at my eyes and write me a prescription for antibiotics. Worst place ever, especially the nurses who claim to be professionals but are not and have terrible judgement when it comes to emergency level rating. Would Definitely NOT recommend this hospital to anyone, they don t even deserve 1 star.
I went to the emergency room around 12pm on a Sunday because I had 101 fever for 3 days, my throat was closing so it was swollen and my ears made me suffer. I spent 13 hours (no, it's not a joke) waiting to see a doctor. And when I finally saw him, he diagnosed me ... Tonsillitis! Only problem ... I haven't had my amigdales for a long time !! And when I told him that he replied with "Ah yes? Are you sure? * Re-illuminate my throat in nothing to feel or move * If you say so, it's true that you don't open your mouth very wide". .. Ok, so the fact that I have a small mouth prevents you from taking one of your popsicle sticks to help you see better? And finally, he takes a test of my throat in case he made a mistake and tells me to wait for his secretary who will come back with the prescription IN CASE it would be more serious. So I still had to wait to get a paper that I really didn't need! Really, I am very disappointed with the health system, it is really ridiculous there ... I do not think to go back there.
This hospital does not deserve any star, but in order to be able to publish there is no choice but to put at least one. All I can say is that to go there is suicide or even if you are a masochist to be tortured psychologically. I do not recommend this hospital even to my worst enemy.
I am driving my husband, 87, to the Emergency at CLM, at 4 p.m. on February 3, 2020; he has been treated without success since the beginning of January for pneumonia; his condition deteriorated; At 8 p.m., as we call a person on time at the Emergency, we decide to come home to go to an emergency clinic the next day; while he goes to get his hospital card. I'm going to get the car; he then tells me that he is asked to stay, we will call him shortly and keep him under observation for the night. I'm coming back home.
The morning of Feb. 4. he calls me at 8am; we just called him to see a doctor. We left him on a chair in a room of people coughing, etc. He didn't call me to go get him, thinking that they were going to call him any minute and for don't wake me up.
What is the use of an Emergency which is not one? What is the point of a health system that mistreats us in this way? They do not refuse people to the emergency (fear of being prosecuted) but the result is the same ...
There is a shortage of emergency clinics, especially in the evenings and weekends.
6 hours of waiting and my number does not change horrible waiting
Waited for 5hrs in the ER then transfered into a room waiting for the doctor. 2 hours waiting. Really bad service. No information given.
Terrible customer service. A few months ago I had a big problem with my eyes. They couldn't help me they sent to a clinic. Bad customer service. Then I called my doctor to help me, Dr irith lebovitch and she refused to send me to an eye doctor. The Charles le Moyne hospital doesn't care about patients. Very bad customer service. Don't go there!
We went to the emergency room yesterday on January 3, 2020.
My daughter was taken care of quickly despite the overflow.
We would like to thank the nurses at the triage for their efficiency and patience.
A special mention for the security officers who were present and for the patience of an angel with all the patients.
Thank you to Dr. M.L. Lamarre, emergency physician, for the care provided to my daughter.
Louise D. Varennes
I take a few minutes to mention that I received outstanding service. Despite the work overload; the nurse who took care of me in the night of July 31st to August 1st to always keep her smile and support despite my impatience because you know the pain she does not wait! A big thank you to all and I hope with all my heart that you will take care of her. I was in room 216B.
The nurse at the reception in the white tent at the pre-triage could this past of these comments inappropriate and inappropriate.
I arrive with a fracture in my metacalpus, I have been waiting for more than 7 hours, the emergency room is empty (maximum 15 - 20 people) and the hospital cannot manage that, a Tim Hortons is much more organized that this hospital, employees (the white army) behave as if they are going to do you a favor.
It's sad, shabby, .... and above all far from the noble mission of a white army.
Dirty place, my stretcher still had blood from another patient. Hard nurses with the elderly. Staff in general very little empathic. 2 parking spaces near the hospital, for the disabled. Otherwise you have to park on the other side of the street and there is a long and steep slope to climb. Not welcoming to people with disabilities. Who designed this parking ??? And inside the hospital ... it's a real labyrinth to go into good service ... I had a post-traumatic stress disorder and the majority of the psychiatrists in this hospital do not know the signs and symptoms, including residents. They call you crazy, do not know the drugs to help you, refuse to see you again. In short, they do not care about you. I have never met a group of psychiatrists so incompetent and for whom the lives of people are so small. Flee this hospital. Run away.
The worst hospital !!! In 2013 I had a stroke with all the symptoms, it's a medical emergency. Unfortunately for me the ambulances take us to this horrible hospital. Well the old neurologist missed the diagnosis !!! They send me home without investigation. I make atrial extrasystoles: possibility of blood clots that go up to the brain. In 2014 new incident. The neurologist swears at me that I would take "too much" medicine, she calls my family doctor to yell too ... but she also misses the diagnosis of stroke yet all the signs and symptoms were there! Competent neurologists ??? No investigation !! A bunch of incompetent doctors. Since I live with the problems following these AVCS!
This hospital is so dirty you might actually get sicker by waiting around. The service was on par with the cleanliness, my little girl nearly died, the overflow of smelly patients caused them to botch her consultation. This hospital should issue a directive asking patient to bather prior to visiting. The place smelled like the Middle Ages in Europe. Stay far far far away. If you can't, bring a mop, some burning sage and a witch doctor. I assure you, you'll get better service from this get up than from Charles Lemoyne.
