Good standard of room but a little tired, food very good restaurant service & staff generally very helpful and attentive.

Disappointing. Not a patch on the Birmingham Crowne Plaza

Came to eat out with the Ladies for an evening halal Indian meal. The service was impeccable, the staff were genuinely nice and attentive to our every need and the food tasted amazing. My friends actually were impressed with both the food and how 'genuine' the staff were.
Great atmosphere, views of the garden and lake topped it off nicely.

My company used this hotel for a company meeting. It has gone seriously down hill and down market. There was only one person to look after 4 meetings and simple necessities like water and tea spoons were not provided. For some reason the tea and coffee was served in disposable cups (why not mugs that can be washed wand reused). The food for lunch was of low quality and lukewarm. Overall I d say the location is good but the could be so much better.

Lovely place to stay for a few nights good food , very clean good service and the staff were brilliant... the gym also is a lovely place to go to keep fit I have been a member for many years and really good facilities give this 5 stars as it's really worth it

Stayed here for 2 nights from 27th May 2018.

When I arrived it was pretty chaotic, the staff didn t seem to know what they were doing and there seemed to be a lot of people at the front desk complaining. When I got to the receptionist I had to wait to check-in because none of the card machines seemed to be working. I was then kept waiting a further 15 minutes at the desk with no explanation. The receptionist finally led me to my room, which was a bit strange, only to open the room door to find it was already occupied when we were greeted by a man in his underpants! The receptionist then ran back to reception leaving me standing on my own in the hallway. The occupant of the room we had entered came out as they wanted to speak to make a few complaints themselves, they had initially been led to a un-cleaned room, and the new room was also unsatisfactorily cleaned, they also said their mattresses were too big and were hanging off the bed!

I was finally let into a room when the receptionist returned and it was now he explained that they had had a system error and couldn t assign key cards to rooms, something he should have explained when I first arrived, not 25 mins after. If I was to come and go from my room I would require asking reception to let me in! I left for dinner not knowing if I would get back into my room or if I would find someone else in it. When I returned reception issued me with a card, which then didn t work, I had to return again to reception for another one. Also the TV kept freezing and no one answered when I called room service, normally this wouldn t bother me, but after the poor start I d already had at Crowne Plaza it just added to my unsatisfactory stay.

After a long hot journey I just wanted to get to my room to freshen up, instead I was greeted by an utter shambles. After my stay I wrote an email to the Manager to complain, but this has been ignored, pretty much summing up their customer service.

I attended the restaurant this evening, the 'Indian' food was absolutely disgusting. They deserve -1 rating. The food was expensive and sounded so much better on paper.
I will never EVER dine there again. Worst evening out I have ever had, I could have eaten better at home. To add insult to injury I also have a funny tummy. What a waste of money. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Well located although there didn't seem to be a lot of parking. So arrive early!. Conference facilities were good and staff very helpful.

Steelasophical Steel Band love performing at this venue for wedding drinks reception. A hidden piece of treasure located in Marlow, with a lake with fountain .. great for meetings, receptions, meal and a very nice place to stay ... in close proximity to the historic Marlow on Thames

Very poor service for afternoon tea. The staff had no idea. The man that served us was wearing a dirty suit. The barman had no idea how to make a St Clements drink so I had to tell him. When I handed over the 'Red Letter' paperwork for which I had booked in May there was no trace. This was a present for my Mums birthday which was totally spoilt. The booking was eventually found by the man on the front desk who apologised and pointed this out to the lady in the bar who just said sorry (which frankly wasn't good enough as I had also spent 20 minutes on the phone to my husband trying to sort things out). It was the hotels fault!!! I even had to ask for a glass of Prosecco for my mum for the inconvenience......shouldnt have to ask. Very poor show

Attended a wedding reception. It was quite lovely with a great view of the lake. The food was exceptional and the whole event was done very professionally

Attended an event at this venue and it was terrible. Food came out 45 minutes late and was inedible. We were unable to re-enter the venue if we wanted to get some fresh air which was very inconvenient. Not worth the extortionate prices.

No one answers the Phone.
At 9.40pm I felt hungry so attempted to call room service so it rang and it rang and it rang. No reply. So I tried the front ..desk...it rang but no reply. Then the operator no reply. Then concierge...no reply. It was now 10pm....so I rang emergency and would you believe it no one replied. Thank goodness I wasn't having a heart attack. At 10.10pm went down to reception....plenty of staff around....I asked the duty manager why no one answered the phones....you've guessed it no reply. I'm a Platinum member so stay regularly in these hotels. It's the worse one I've even been to. Gone to bed with no meal. What a dump. Some training in customer care is needed here. Avoid it.

Nice place - staff were really helpful and no quibbles about points that you usually get a crown plaza !

Really disappointed with the hotel. Definitely hot worthy of a 4* rating. Reception staff fail to wear name badges and are very rude to customers. The spa facilities could be cleaner with black mould starting to be visible in places. The room itself is very tired with most of the veneered furniture chipped or scratched. Dirty crockery and cutlery left in the hallways for over 6 hours.

Went with a overnight stay and spa package. The hotel facilities and staff were amazing, however disappointed with the spa package itself....spa was part of the deal...may not have stayed overnight for a 20 minute treatment....

Reception staff one of the team was very rude on check in could do with a refresher in customer service.

Ok, needs a few improvements. Maybe after the refurbishments, it will be better.

So far unimpressed with the refreshment side of things. Sat in the restaurant waiting to be served. Noone came. Tables were dirty and uncleared, went to the bar to ask for a drink and was ignored twice, so We have just got a cab to go to Bourne end to get a drink...we think we will get one quicker. Rang 3 times for room service and no reply.

Lovely pool area and outdoor hot tubs. Room was good and breakfast ok too.

Found the bar, just off the restaurant, which is great place to meet for an informal meeting unless you end up with one of the very small low round tables

A bit out of the way but a great hotel and friendly staff, food is great and plenty of parking.

Wasted my time and money. Atmosphere noisy and not relaxing. We not be back..

Fantastic place, lovely spa facilities and all very clean, rooms are amazing and beds are so comfortable, helpful friendly staff and the dinner and breakfast was to die for, great spa weekend break - highly recommend!

Customer service at this hotel is next to nothing! Good luck if you would like to raise a concern or ask a question as you are completely ignored by the staff! The restaurant staff are totally disorganised and nobody seems to know what they are doing or who is in charge. Plastic found in the food. Lunch order mixed up. Long wait for food. 45 minute wait for the bill.
Don t waste your time or money at this shambles of a hotel

Location is perfect for exploring the area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and very nice. The shower is amazing too.

Nice rooms, lovely food and very friendly staff. The ambiance is a little cold, espcially in the bar, and the pool was quite over crowded.

We had a great overnight stay . We had a deal which included a bottle of prosecco and a 3 course dinner. We were very happy with the service in the hotel. Our room was clean. The dinner and breakfast were really good. The spa is very small. I don't think it would+ be relaxing at all if it had been any busier. Overall though, we had a good time.

I was at the crowne plaza Marlow 2 weeks ago and had a massage like I have a few times but this time was out of this world I didn t want it to stop ! It was the best I have ever had by a wonderful professional lady called Deorne!!!
The surroundings are dated not really luxury standard! But Deorne made up for all of this !
If you go there it s a must thanks again Deorne

Rooms are dated and some renovation could be helpful. Service in restaurant is slow and you get the feeling they have forgotten your drink, which is not a fun when you are desperate for a glass of wine

A 4 star facility but facilities are not worth 4 star. I stayed in two rooms over 2 nights and in both bathrooms, shower water will leak out and make it messy outside. The guy at breakfast entrance looks more like a policeman than a hotel employee. Free wifi but the coverage is not uniform. Scenery is beautiful around and a lake on the back is fascinating. Parking is ample and free

Staff on booking in, efficient, room spotless, had a dinner, bed and breakfast, afternoon tea package, food was amazing. But best of all are the friendly staff, from the breakfast staff to the restaurant staff all great.

Went here today for a spa day. Hotel is quite nice, don't let the exterior fool you!
When arriving the staff were very attentive and welcoming and guided me to the spa pool area.
As soon as you enter you see the big pool straight in front of you and also a jacuzzi - looks decent. Used the Sauna and steam which was nice. Changing rooms were very hygienic! So that's a plus too.
Had a neck, shoulder and back massage. The masseuse was great friendly and professional.
On to the lunch had a 2 course - club sandwich and chocolate brownie dessert both were of really good quality! Loved it in fact. The bar staff was really helpful, attentive and welcoming!
Once i finished that I went onto the exterior heated jacuzzi and that really topped my day. Amazing views while you sit in it and just so relaxing.
I would recommend this hotel for the spa/lunch and would go again.

Fine for a one night conference. Not the nicest of locations. Staff were helpful and the food was good.

Lovely hotel. Good location and easy to find. Located overlooking a lake. There is ample free parking on site and this is covered by cctv. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful. Check in and check out was smooth.
Although they were re fitting the bar, it s hardly noticeable.
Lovely breakfast with loads of choice. Fresh and good food!

Lovley room staff not very communicative about social distancing had to ask about everything table service in bar was a joke had to get agitated about the wait before anyone came to take order then wait ages again for the drinks to come to table dinner soup was worst potato and leek l have tasted what sort of chef makes soup like that like coloured dishwasher chicken main was delicious dessert no taste as for breakfast how they get away with it l don't know awful 4 star hotel terrible would not reccomend it at all waste of my money

Great position but in need of refurbishment - it was hot and unfortunately air conditioning wasnt fully functional! Check your room when you arrive room 25 was mot working on at end of Aug 16. Staff really nice, I felt sorry for them, they really didn't have a new hotel to work with.

Great stay here, hotel room was lovely and being able to use the spa and sauna was a god send. Would definitely go back here make sure you get the breakfast when you stay.

Company held Xmas Party here. Had a great time. Food was very good, with service that insured your table was all eating together. Stayed the night room was very spacious with bath and separate shower cubicle. Exceptionally good breakfast with lovely views of the lake.

I came to the Hotel with my husband for our anniversary, for 1 night and SPAday. The hotel had no power or water and they didn't want to reimburse us.

Stayed one night with family in April 2017 Pros: Friendly staff Clean and spacious Good facilities for families (pool, climbing frame) Good bathroom with separate bath and shower Cons: Location means there isn't much by way of food nearby so you'll have to drive out or eat at the hotel

Fantastic spa day. Tom on reception was friendly and really helpful. Excellent customer service and the massage was first class, one of the best I have had in years. Very nice lady, just a little shy.
Facilities were good and lovely to sit outside on a sunny day. Food was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Had the cream tea, it was very enjoyable and the views over the river we're great.

Customer service is awful, I tried calling 20 times during the week at non busy hours and they never pick up and when they pick up for 3 seconds then hang up, they have also transferred me to the wrong department multiple times and was on hold for over 30 mins being transferred
