Great customer service. The pictures of the carpet...
Great customer service. The pictures of the carpet has water stains. Air conditioner leaks. Bathroom outlet does not work. Shower leaks water.

Great staff, waitress for breakfast was nice and bartender was fun to socialize with. Only complaint is that they were trying to charge for two nights instead of the one we booked, but it happens when they are busy for OU/TX.
I picked this hotel because I thought it would be a little nicer than a regular IHG Express. I am paying more than at an IHG Express. But I am a bit disillusioned. I arrived and the team receiving me was all lackadaisical. They did not know where the luggage carts were and did not offer to help with luggage. I did get greeted as sn Elite member...but no "points or water" were offered, which typically they are. The room was - like the rest of the hotel is - without the sparkle you get at your regular Crowne Plaza. Try the Crowne Plaza in Manila and you will know what I am talking about.
I enjoyed the indoor pool. It was heated. And there was a moment when I had it all to my family and myself.
Central location with mid-range rates. I almost always stay at IHG brand hotels because they're consistently clean, comfortable, and convenient. This Crown Plaza is a little less upscale than others bearing the name, but the amenities are on par with its class. The view of downtown Dallas is exactly what I had hoped for.
Customer service lacking! Our room was not cleaned one of the 3 nites visit. Kept calling but fell on deaf ears. Ran out of soap had to wait several hours before soap arrived. Called to speak with management but was told they do not work on the weekend! I explained I was going to write a review and was told go ahead . Never received an apology. Recommend customer service training immediately!
Had to wait until exactly 3 pm to check in and it was 254 when I arrived. That would be the only negative thing I experienced.
Checkin was super easy! I had separate stays due my stay was for business and leisure. Renee checked me in and had no difficulty at all with the separate stays. Renee is super friendly and informative during the checkin as well. Raeniece, Seymone, and Renee were all present during my check out. They are truly wonderful woman, they were concerned about my stay and ask if I enjoyed my time here in Dallas. I thought that was sweet of them. Thank you ladies for making me feel so welcomed and wishing me safe travels home.
The bar and wait staff are pretty amazing as well! Mimi was super nicest the bar. I had dinner twice at the restaurant and Bobbie Anna (sorry if misspelled) and Juan helpful in ordering my evening meal. Delivered amazing service.
Thank you all for an AMAZING STAY! I will definitely be back!
I walked in and was greeted by two young ladies who were eager to get my money. She told me I was getting a discount of 10.00. $119.00 a night to $109.00 a night. They told me all the good about the hotel. They were rentavating the property which is all good. As I get to my room I find out they have no heat and engineers told me they would bring a portable heater. My baby is sick and it's cold and rainy. He never came. They say their phone don't work and cable did not work either. I had 2 channels. We rented two rooms. I'm very disappointed and ask that Crown Plaza Hotel give my sister and I a frwe night after rentavating is finished. Your reviews aren't really great as I read. Sad your staff wasn't honest with us.
Great customer service though cleaning crew kinds needs work . Great prices and worth every penny!!!!
Not a place that I would ever visit again or suggest to visit. It was horrible! Very outdated, broken lamp shades, and to top it off pubic hair in my bed along with other type of hairs, mole in the bathroom. Just Horrible! They move me to another Room just a little cleaner but I guess I moved up because the 1st Room had a microwave no refrigerator and the 2nd Room had a refrigerator no microwave and the refrigerator was sitting on the floor. However they did offer me two free drinks from the bar but guess what I don't drink! Horrible!!!!!
Aweful. Only slightly better than Extended Stay America. Dried blood on the sheets, Noisy, Overpriced restaurant, AC doesn t work well, and the phones are hit and miss.
Is the best. Location for site seeing , eating n shopping,
They are planning much needed reservations. I do not know the criteria for a three star hotel, but this is not it and does not compare to any other Crown Plaza that I have been to. My bed has past its expectation date, the carpet gave up, and there is a old damp odor. I will not be staying in this "hotel" again. Forgot about the lack of parking.
I highly recommend staying here for many reasons. The rooms were fairly nice, modern, and clean. The staff were extremely helpful as the lady at the front desk not only let me check in (I m 20, some hotels don t check in adults my age), but she even gave me a discount. I woke up the next day and had hands-down the best breakfast I ve had at any hotel, ever.
The night time desk clerk Derek has been the pinnacle of professionalism and should be seen as an asset to this hospitality team. While my experience with the hotel was.. not exactly perfect, this mans resourcefulness and courtesy where outstanding.
Absolutely disgusting service. Room service didn't show up for 2 days and when they did, they didn't do a very good job. Towels and sheets had stains. Weird people roaming around in the parking lot. I wouldn't stay here again.
I've never been at a Crowne Plaza that looks, smells and sounds as old as this one. NEVER, EVER will I stay at this hotel again. The staff is AMAZING, but the hotel needs a lot of renovations. The air condition doesn't work well it's either way too cold or extremely hot. You can't set it at a good temperature to be just perfect. Also, the air condition is aimed to where it freezes only one bed. It's HORRIBLE. furthermore, the price is absurd for how ancient the hotel is, either the price needs to drop or the hotel needs to get a serious renovation more modern look. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Even La Quinta Inn looks better than this one.
Wonderful!!! After a long day a Baylor cancer center with my wife , Kelly greeted us with a smile , bought dinner for us and put us in a wonderful room !!! Love crown plaza!!! Highly recommended!!!
This place was ok it really is only worth 2 1/2 stars theres no fridge or microwave which is very inconvenient.. i thought it was nice they had room service but that was a joke 1 regular no name bottle of water for 3$ and the food was overpriced and not good at all..everything was fairly clean and decent except the tub which was EXTREMELY old and clogged up...also 200$ hold placed on your card automatically when u check in ridiculous
Attended a work function and had no problems. Although I do wish the chairs were more comfy. Other than that, it went as expected.
Construction. Had to use temporary entrance which was hard to find.
This was has been the worst hotel stay ever! The motel itself is mediocre. The Hotel reeks of mold and the plumbing is down right irritating! I don t think I have ever heard a toilet run so loud or long in my life. The Staff is comparable to that at Wal- Mart! If your looking for a great room with great service I suggest you keep looking! Because you won t receive either here at this location!
A bit dated in parts but still a very nice hotel. Very attentive service.
Horrible hotel don t waste your money. Outdated no fridge, no hot water, computer shut down so we couldn t check in, luggage carts all missing, staff got attitude when we asked to go to another room to take a shower because there was NO HOT WATER, hard bed. No joke I never leave reviews but this is the worst hotel ever for this price and no microwave.
This hotel was close to where I was attending a function. Check in was quick and easy. I was only staying one night so I didn't require anything other than a decent bed, a hot shower and a good nights sleep. Had the shower and decent bed requirement, so no complaints there. What I am extremely pissed about is that at 7:30am the cleaning ladies decided it would be a great time to clean the room next to me. Allowing the door to slam closed every time they opened it, vacuuming and hitting the wall with the vacuum and talking very loudly AT 7:30am! Took me a while to get back to sleep and then at 10:30am, they decided to do a fire alarm test so everyone in the entire hotel had to listen to that for about 10 minutes. At check out, the lady at the front desk did even ask how our stay was. She just took the key cards and said nothing. I didn't bother to complain to her as she didn't care. I will not stay here again
Meh, currently under renovation. My room had not been renovated. Made a reservation through hotwire, had issues at check-in, couldn't find it initially. Close to airports, served it's purpose.
Best hotel in the Market Center North/ Mockingbird area. Never disappointed.
Nice room. No vending machines, but there is a gift shop. "restaurant" is minimal for breakfast. Basically omelets, waffle,or fruit.
Not Impressed. We did, however, have a lovely view of the highway. Rooms and hallways smelled musty, but the rooms were clean. the hot breakfast was cold every day i was there. Dinner was good, but for the price I want free wine with my meal. The lobby and resturant were constantly frigid. I kept waiting for penguins to march through like the peabody ducks. Shuttle service was slow and unreliable due to obvious disorganization. As I said previously, I was not impressed.
Very expensive for such poor quality. They sell food and they charge you more, the abiations leave them members and very bad customer services. No one of the employees speaks Spanish ... In general I am very disappointed
Room was a little small and had no mini fridge but over all a completely satisfactory stay
Rude front desk clerk. Didn't even acknowledge me as I walked past
Stranded in Dallas due to a flight cancellation. Located right off the highway, room relatively quiet for overlooking 35E. Hotel, room was clean. Didn't visit the restaurant, bartender was accommodating.
Stayed 1 night, didn't have a mini fridge which kind of sucked as we had leftover food. The person at the desk was very friendly and nice. The rooms were good, but the overall feel of the hotel probably need a little renovation.
This hotel could use a renovation, but what's there is well kept. Customer service is great and the sizes of the rooms is nice as well.
Good staff and very clean rooms. Ordered room service and it was fantastic.
Our company hosted two of our huge meetings at this location and we were completely dissatisfied. Here is why:
Friday morning Breakfast meeting our room was given to another party with the promise they would vacate in plenty of time to meet our schedule. As this did not happen, we were placed in a different room, further from the buffet area. While Ricky took wonderful care to make sure the transition went as smoothly as possible, we feel it should have never happened.
The entire facility was too hot, during the walk thru on Friday morning with Carol, we were assured the temperature in the ballroom would be adjusted taking into consideration the needs of a group this size. Starting with the bar on Friday night, we asked the front desk several times to make it cooler, if they followed through, it was not evident. Faustino assured us Friday evening that the thermostats would be turned down overnight so that it would be nice and cool Saturday morning in the ballroom. We soon realized Saturday morning this was not the case. Faustino mentioned the thermostats must not have been properly set, and at this point, the system was not able to catch up enough to make the meeting room and mezzanine comfortable. It was much too warm in our meeting space all day. One of our most frequent complaints from our group was the heat in not only the common areas, but also the guest rooms. They were both less than adequate. Even the guest room that was provided to Yuri and me for use had to have your engineering folks come to adjust the air levels.
The Bar was understaffed to handle the group we had. They actually seemed surprised at the size and yet were not able to increase staffing; therefore, many of our guests left the hotel to find more comfortable places to socialize. Your staff was also asked to turn on the lights in the back corner of the room to let our guests spread out more. This didn t happen another reason our guests left the hotel. During the initial meetings with you, we were told there would be drink specials, but there were not any specials offered to our guests even during happy hour.
While discussing lunch buffet arrangements with Faustino, Purvis coordinators were consulted on the set up, and we offered suggestions to him; he did not care for our ideas and were actually discounted entirely. In the end, he did things his way.
One of the 3 buffet tables was shut down while we still had guests in line. They were then ushered to the remaining stations, to stand in already long lines. Why was the food not replenished to reduce the lines and wait time, rather than closing it? The levels of food in the remaining lines got very low, almost empty before they were refilled. The food was also a huge concern during our meeting in October. We ran out of food too soon at that meeting.
One of the primary reasons that Crowne Plaza was selected was due to the shuttle services to Love Field advertised as well as promised. Carol was somewhat taken aback when she found out we were expecting a large shuttle to be made available, stating it was out of service for repairs. As we had a few folks flying through DFW, we had made arrangements on our part to meet their needs. Carol felt we should have let her know in advance that our other guests would be using the hotel shuttles. We did not understand her thought process in this, as it is a known service of the hotel. In fact, Carol made us feel bad about not communicating this to her, when in our mind, it should not have been an issue. I have never felt belittled during any events I have planned in the past, but I did in this instance. I feel this is inappropriate. Ultimately, the guests needs were met, which we really appreciate, but we were faced with concerns at the last minute that we feel should not have been an issue.
We sent our feedback to the GM and never got a response! Horrible experience! We are extremely embarrassed with our guest!. We will NEVER use this property again!
Clean. Easy to get to. Hotel shuttle service is great
Nice hotel w clean spacious rooms. Free WIFI. Courteous staff
The hotel was comfortable. The free shuttle service was great and on time too.
Construction dust, noise, non working elevators and broken shower door made ir an awful experience. Crowne Plaza hotels used to be so nice!
The hotel is a decent hotel for its location. Amemnetieswere average. Customer service is above average. I will stay there again.
Only a 3 Star because weight room, pool area, elevator very outdated. Other areas like lobby and dining area were nice. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.
We stayed one night. The staff was kind and courteous and the breakfast was great. They had a nice indoor pool and a sizeable workout area as well.
Very inexpensive parking when traveling out of Dallas Love Field
So let's talk about my stay here. This was the worst Crowne Plaza I have ever been too. No grand entrance when you came to check in. The luggage cart were old, mismatched, and made horrible noises. You could not get the staff to answer the phone when you needed them. The ATM machine was broken. There was a hole in my sheets, the channel listing did not match the channels on the TV ( they were aware of this issue and acted like it was no big deal), and my room was missing my ice bucket. An to top it off the location sucked. There were people in the parking lot smoking weed. There was a Comfort Inn right next door. I would of been better off there spending less money. Not worth the money! Not sure how they can still claim to be in the market center. I felt like I was in an unsavory part on the outskirts!. If you see this hotel don't book it!
I booked two rooms in this establishment for two nights.
When I arrived I was separated into two different floors, since it was a blended family trip that meant my CHILDREN were being separated; we managed, since most of our activities were planned outside of our hotel.
The second day after spending all day out we came back to find hundreds of little bugs crawling in my room. My 5 year old daughter brought it to my attention. I immediately went downstairs to request a new room which was given to me right away. I was told management would follow up with me the next morning. The new room I moved to had PUBIC HAIR covering the whole place. I mean it wasn t even clean, clear as day pubic hair all over the floor, bathtub, walls. It s just this new level of disgust. I was NEVER followed up with management. Two days after checking out I m still waiting for my receipt. Yet to be given to me. This stay changed my perspective of hotels drastically, the trip my family planned out all year could have been more relaxing. Now I m home and cleaning all of our belongings top to bottom praying this isn t a case of bed bugs
Since this site won t allow me to post pictures I will find a review that will allow my pictures of my experience to also be seen.
My family got bed bugs at this hotel...
Beware!!!
Meh, lobby smells like mold. Bald front clerk was rude. Room heater did not work.
So this review is for this stay only. I would hope that all of my issues will be fixed as they complete their remodel. However you need to find out if they are remodeling before you book as it is a nightmare there right now.
I was there for a conference for 3 nights. My room was on the 20th floor and the first 2 nights the highs were in the mid to upper 70's. There were only 2 of the 4 elevators were operational. Of course the staff and the construction guys needed to move themselves and tools around so wait times were long. I am in good shape so I would walk down the stairs to alleviate congestion. On my second Morning walking down the stairs there was a drywall cart full of stuff sitting in the 10th floor stairwell blocking the fire escape and extinguisher. I took a picture of it and reported it to the front desk. It was still there when I left the next morning.
My room had been recently renovated and it looked like it was done by amateurs. Plumbing fixtures not fitted properly, Faucet dripping, Outlet covers crooked, Trim work hacked together especially the tile trim in bathroom and heater/ air conditioner cover not hanging properly. The air conditioner was not operating and there was a wadded up tissue in my shower on check-in.
The only thing that is keeping me from giving these guys only one star is the people. They were all nice and seemed generally as frustrated with the situation as the guests.
Night crew was amazing but the daytime crew were rude.
The staff was friendly, rooms was very neat and clean. Great hotel shuttle! Would definitely stay here again!
Under construction and didn't list on the hotwire information when booking. Room wasn't completed, manager didn't address.
Room was okay. Nothing special, nothing really bad. The shower faucet was sort of broken but workable enough to last two days.
Arrived two hours early ask if we could check in and was told no had to wait until 3:00. WE SET IN the lobby I went up at 3:00 and was told the only thing available was a handicap room, I would have too wait another 30min for a king size room, so back on the couch in the lobby
Can't say anything positive so all I can say is train then train again and if you have more time train again remember to smile greet and thank the customer it will make us see past the falling hotel in desperate need or remodeling.
Let me start out by saying the front desk was extremely helpful and nice but the hotel in general I would never come back. My stay started before I even checked in when I was using the restroom when the cleaning personnel (female) came in and yelled housekeeping and told me I needed to leave the restroom so she could clean but I was in the middle of something, she never left the bathroom just began cleaning the stall next to me. While I was in the bathroom stall I noticed that there was a medical needle behind the toilet not sure if it was used or not though but still pretty nasty and unsanitary.
The night of my stay, the hotel was completely full with two of the elevators out of commission. the elevator wait time seems to be anywhere between 15/20 minutes so if your carrying a lot of luggage you're definitely going to get your workout for the day.
It doesn't seem that the hotel parking lot can accommodate the amount of occupancy the hotel can, meaning you might be left leaving your car parked in another business parking lot.
The rooms themselves are actually pretty nice they seem updated and fairly clean with a nice layout, the bathrooms seem stylish and clean.
Below my expectations. Never be back.
It's located close the an highway, loud noise all day and night coming from running cars and trucks: cannot rest!
Room was not so clean, and the same for the common areas: for that amount of money, I expect much more.
Last but non least: the worst wifi ever, impossible to work or even surf internet.
Bad experience, never be back.
Close to the West End and great place to get some lunch.
