Great service at this location every time I have been here. The hotel could use an update, but the rooms and common areas are kept clean.

Feels so dirty. I called the front desk about the bed and they just stated "ok... So you want us to change them?"
Place was in a horrible high traffic areas, room was atrocious and very unclean, there was an old used dried up stinky old towel still hanging from the bathroom shower curtain
Kacy at the front desk was amazing; she's the reason I gave two stars. The hotel was okay with a few areas that needed to be addressed: the floor had food on it from the previous guest, the bathroom had black stuff on the floor and behind the toilet, a missing knob, and the phone quit working. Not huge issues, but items that should be addressed.
I would not allow anyone in the room if you aren't in there with them. In error, I checked out and left a dress with the tags still on it in the closet. I called as soon as I got home and realized what I had done. We finally got an answer six days later that my dress wasn't there; I am beyond disappointed! The individual that cleaned the room would have seen the dress, or she didn't do a good enough job cleaning the room. Someone took the dress out of the room, and took it out of the hotel. This was my mistake, but I was hoping for honest staff members.
Rooms and staff were friendly but when it came to swimming, the water was an off green color and didn't even see the pool going through the filter process. Then the elevator carpet was damp from people not drying off from the pool and started smelling like mildew. Rooms were 5 star but that pool needs a closing sign.
After leaving another hotel due to horrible conditions, we were desperate to find a decent place to stay at one in the morning. Crowne Plaza was a blessing. They were friendly and quick to get us into or room after an exhausting evening. The room was clean and very comfortable. Front desk service was amazing and they helped us find other guests to share a cab with to an event we were attending. Although crowne plaza was a little further from our event, it was worth the extra few bucks we had to pay a taxi driver.
Everything was dirty, indoor pool was freezing, mold in each room & no toilet paper in room. Don t stay here.
I'm an IHG member, so I decided to stay here as it was closest to what I was doing in Dallas. Well, good and bad here, so I'll start with good. It's a very nice property, clean, modern, comfy beds and pillows. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, shuttle showed up on time when I left and the driver was great. There was almost nothing to complain about as far as the building and rooms go.
Now the bad, which is mainly in regards to the grill. When I got in I was starving and there wasn't much around I could walk to for food, so I ordered room service. The menu says there is a $3 delivery fee plus 21% gratuity, which is fine. I ordered an $8 burger with a Dr. Pepper, asked for the burger to be medium. What I got was rare, nearly raw and barely edible. I ate around the outside and had to stop for fear of getting food poisoning. The fries were good though. I was so distracted by the gentleman that brought my food up I didn't even think about the bill, it was $23, final of $28 after I gave a $5 tip. How does an $8 burger with a can of Dr. Pepper end up being $23? Even with the $3 charge and 21%, that math doesn't add up! The fact that I couldn't even eat the burger just adds insult to injury. Then the breakfast, so glad I paid for that in my room charge. $12.95 for a typical hotel buffet (fruits, fake eggs, frozen potatoes warmed up, you know...), however they did have a guy that would make an omelet. It's ok, but way over priced.
Was there this weekend for an event. Good was goid but service was lacking. Delivered food but did not even ask my date sitting next to me and never refilled tea or water. Had to request service from servers. If they fix this it would have been 5 stars.
Loved Zaza so much! Maritsa, Karina, Armando, Ghanema, Jospeh, Gerrad, Scott, Arely, Amanda and Sharon were all helpful front desk agents and concierges! As always Zaza rocks! Be sure to ask for a room on the poolside if you love balconies, if you want quit then ask for a bungalow !
Clean room and that's about it. I should have went with my first mind and stayed elsewhere because the reviews warned me. So this is my fault. After a five hour flight and very long day due to traveling here and getting myself situated in my room, turn on the TV and no damn service. Call front desk and they said the entire hotel is down for TV service and the "technician" is working on it. How long have they been telling their guest this BS to get us off their backs. Can't relax looking at four walls.
This is very conveniently located and the building is interestingly designed. The parking seemed secure for the area and the bar service was excellent. The room was very nice and both the cleaning service and desk clerks were very helpful and receptive. We would definitely stay here again.
So they apologized profusely and gifted me points but here's a rundown of my stay:
Brand new clerk at the desk couldn't add my IHG number. She wanted to write it on my key packet for me (which wouldn't have done any good) so I suggested she write it on the check in form instead. She never added it to the stay.
Same clerk also.said breakfast was "all free" in the morning when I asked if I needed a voucher. (Spoiler, it's not free).
Only 2 of 4 elevators we're "working" and by working I mean they would eventually get you to your floor. Down elevators would go up without command, then on the way down would not move for 10 seconds then sudden go max speed. A little scary...
So then I got to the room....
I was told the floor had been recently completed... It was not complete. Still had carpet runners and the fresh chemical scent of new carpet.
Things missing from my room:
Remote control
Clock
Shelves in the bathroom
Hot water -- that was fun as the tub/shower faucet mixer valve was broken and would shut the tap off instead of providing hot water. Then it would go full cold where fill hot was supposed to be. Eventually I got enough warm water to drip from the shower.
so yeah, I would avoid this hotel for a while until they completely complete the renovations
Was under construction, found dirty glasses in fridge, hair was on one of beds
Nice place but very poor service. Front desk was terrible as well as the lady bartender. Should look at these people before you start losing guests.
Nice amenities for the price. A little bit of a drive to down town Dallas, but the staff will meet your needs.
Love the parking is free and right off the highway. The bathroom is not that great and ac set up is crappy. One half of your room is cold and other half is hot.
The first room I got was dirty. The second room I got was dirty too, cold no heat available. There was dirty towels under the sink. The room smelled. I thought crown plaza was high end. I will never stay again.
Fabulous staff, going through a renovation and the rooms are beautiful.
It was good for the price. The staff was very attentive, but the building doesn't seem to have aged well.
The location is decent enough, as it's closer to Lovefield airport than to DFW. There are restaurants driving distance away, the American Airlines Center is across town via highway, and plenty of parking exists. The workers are diligent and very helpful, but the custodial service is far below acceptable. Trash being left in trash cans, sinks not being cleaned completely, toilets being left alone after a stay and not cleaned, just to name some of the highlights. Your mileage may vary, though.
Aging hotel that is in bad need of not only some renovation but much improved maintenance and cleaning.
Elevators and walls in various places throughout the hotel had nasty looking stains Of an unidentifiable nature...beds have a definite trough in the middle of them (mattresses should have been replaced long ago).
There is a Resturant in the hotel...but anything other than the bar/snack menu is overpriced even for hotel standards...and as for the meal quality...again...mixed bag at best...I ordered a burger and fries...got What seemed like a whopper on a fancy bun and burger kingesque fries.
On the other hand...the cooked to order breakfast was pretty good.
Sheets and blankets which were supposed to be white were a dingy dirty off white color and we're not exactly soft. (Replace and use fabric softener?)
Staff was a mixed bag...some were very friendly...others...not so much.
A member of the staff asked how our stay was a in the elevator as we were leaving however, as soon as he realized that the response was not going to be favorable, he had no further desire to speak with us. (How can you improve if you don't care what your guests have to say?)
Overall I have stayed in much nicer hotels for less money...I would not stay there again.
Definitely not the best hotel in Dallas, but comfortable for one night.
Great location. Central to many attractions. Great rooms. Professional staff. Very courteous.
The staff was very courteous and went above and beyond what was asked.
S9me good some bad and hotel syaff very rude at front desk believe to be her name Jacqueline..
Was booked to stay four weeks, left after 2.5 below are all the reasons why. Each compounded by the worst service I've ever received in a hotel.
1. Roaches. Found a roach on the dirty bathroom mirror on day 6, on day 10 found 2 more in the dirty tub.
2. Maid service: as far as I can tell, there is no maid service. Bathroom wasn't cleaned in over two weeks, aside from a bottle of Imodium that was cleaned right out of my room (stolen) beds were made, but even after requesting new sheets the same ones were used. (1 bed had a stain on the sheet that looked like blood, always fun). Cups and other consumables never replaced, even when asked.
3. Network: again, there isn't one. Average WiFi speed (when it deigns to work at all) is 6-10 kbps Less than I would receive with a dial up modem. There is obviously no cellular backbone either, which in a 21 story building means everyone not on the top 2 floors is essentially in a dead zone. Had to sit in my car in the parking lot just to get a good enough connection on at&t cell to call my wife. Had to use my phone as a mobile hotspot just to check my email on my laptop. When asked I received every excuse under the sun from "there are people here working on it" (which there were for a few days, then their vehicles all left, even though I still got told this excuse the day before I left) to "it's working as intended" (same conversation the guy actually tried to tell me I didn't know how internet speed works, despite my being a network technician for over 15 years) to "we don't allow anything but computers to connect" (which doesn't really explain why my laptop is unable to connect) I brought 3 wifi capable devices, all 3 would be routinely kicked from the Network every 15-20 minutes, requiring me to sign back in via the gatekeeper page, instead of picking and holding the MAC address when connected. These conversations we're much like every other I had about any issue in that I couldn't get the same answer twice, even from the same person. It made me feel frustrated and completely unwelcome.
So, in summary, if you like dirty bathrooms, old, hole-filled sheets, cockroaches and hate the internet, this hotel is for you. As for me, I went to a better hotel, and will be telling my coworkers when they come to Dallas for training to stay somewhere, anywhere else.
The shower temperature is backwards but otherwise it's great
Although the hotel does have a bit of a retro vibe it is nice, and clean...for the most part. There are some stains on cushions in the dinning area, as well as booths that have holes in the seats, but they have a pretty good buffet and the staff was helpful.
Also, the breakfast buffet is not free and it's cheaper if you book tge buffet when you book the room.
I went for a work event, the staff was great and everyone loved the rooms
This place is a dump! Do not waste your money here! So I made reservations for 7 nights, and they gave me a room with two very small beds in it. I had such a hard time trying to sleep in this ridiculously tiny bed and in the morning I asked them to switch me to a room with a bigger bed. They refused. They told me I needed to pay more money. I've come across this situation in the past with other hotels, and they've always gone out of their way to accommodate my needs. But the staff here is so unfriendly and so unwilling to help you. So besides this very frustrating situation, the hotel is just so damn terrible. The entire Hotel smells of mildew and Musk. My room smells as if someone has been chain-smoking in here since the 90s. The furniture is old and outdated. Also on the first night of staying there, the headboard over the tiny bed I chose to sleep in fell off the wall and hit me. The toggle bolts it was hanging off of were not attached to any sheetrock. I told the front desk about this and they didn't seem to care. So let's run down everything else that is wrong with his place. The carpeting in the room feels grimy. All the Linens and towels are stained, torn and and uncomfortable. The bathroom floor was sticky. The tub in the bathroom was cracked and looks to have been attempted to be repaired very poorly. Overall this place deserves zero Stars, but Google doesn't give you that option. I will never stay here again, and do yourself a favor, if you absolutely need to stay in the area, I would recommend the La Quinta down the road.
Starting to get a little dated, and kind of tricky to get to, only northbound traffic. Staff was great!
Staff are very kind. The rooms are old but they are undergoing a complete remodel.
4 for the food. Hotel tho? 1 service of front desk 0. Rude as Hell. Oldman asset the front scoffed at me and said ( lol "whatever is not my problem") as he walked off.
Getting in and out off parking lot was a little difficult with only one entrance and exit. Nice reception area. I was there briefly for a fifteenth birthday party. Very nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Smells disgusting, A/C doesn't work properly, and when it says "double" it literally means double bed, not queen.
Meeting space is nice and hotel staff are great at hosting large gatherings.
Excellent place for rest, business and stay. The staff is friendly, effective and will give you an unforgetful experience that will make you want to come back for your business and pleasure needs. Two thumbs up!
The Place is Great & the Crew who work it are fabulous!
We plan on staying for 2 nights. We haven't had a chance to have drinks at the Bar, or dine at the Resturant, but their selections sound Great, we can't wait to try it out!
Terrance at the restaurant is very polite and professional! He always takes care of us, when we are in Dallas!
Great Dallas views and convenient to Love airport. The indoor pool was the best thing going. Overall, hotel wasn't worth the price we paid. Beds were extremely small and funneled us to the middle. Everything was run down and could use an update. Frayed carpet, older furniture, iffy elevators; even the exterior sign advertised the "Crow" as the other lights were burnt out. Staff was friendly enough, quickly brought extra linens when requested. This was our first and likely only time staying at a Plaza hotel because of this stay.
Currently under renovation... the front desk people had their own personal conversation going and didnt want to be interrupted by "customers" apparently!
No Jacuzzi or side entrance. . otherwise i would've given it 5 stars
Ballroom was incredibly hot. I guess a/c must cost extra?
Facilities maintenance Personnel have no supervision or quality checks. Instead of fixing toilet leak they just shut off the valve. Bathtub had absolutely no cold water, extremely hot. Smell in the hall was Moldy.
Customer service was the highlight of this stay.
Room is dirty with dead bugs on the towel. Furniture is very very old, dirty and disgusting. Spilled coffee and tea spots all over the curtains. Tea/coffee maker is dirty and old. Bathroom doesn't have ventilation so it made super difficult to breath. There is only one ac/heater vent in the entire room facing a wall so the entire room didn't get proper air conditioning. There is no microwave and refrigerator was small and dirty. The lighting is very poor.
When I got there they never got my reservation from priceline. I had to call priceline myself. That took about an hour and it is hot. No "I'm sorry" or here is some bottled water for you. Others there that were having problems at least got that. Then they set my wife and I with a two twin beds and the room smells bad. What a place. Never staying there again.
good bar but no fridge or microwave in the rooms like the cheaper priced hotel next door to it.
Waste of time don't bother! No refrigerator in the room, air conditioner wasn't working properly. The pool from the pictures looked to be amazing with a nice hot tub. This was far from what it actually was. Pool had a off green look to it. Decided to give it a chance anyway. Once under water there was a tall tell sign of poor maintenance as the water was very murky and had a STRONG smell of bleach. Wouldn't take a second dip in it after that. Now the $42 breakfast was included in the original bill, but to actually charge that amount of money and call it a continental was a joke. Just because you place some smoked salmon out, doesn't allow you the right to ever charge that amount. The few pluses to our stay there was we had asked for a higher floor to stay on and the front desk got us on the 21st floor. Once in the room although the window was fairly small it did provide a pretty view of downtown Dallas.
Check in was a bit difficult because the first floor is out of order & you must take an elevator to the second floor to go to the check-in desk. The rooms were nice because they had been newly remodeled. as I understand that this place is More
What was once a crown jewel of downtown is now a relic of the good old days, worn, unkept, broken...yet the staff is surprisingly snooty, bordering on rude...a least the priceline rate was cheap enough for an emergency stay due to weather
Friendly guest service but the elevators were having problems. I have stayed before and there seems to be an on going elevator problem. This time it got stuck and they had to call the fire department. I walked up 10 flights of stairs to get to my room. Even the front lady begged people to send a complaint to IHG about the elevators. So after that there was only 1 elevator working the rest of the weekend. Also AC did not work but it has always been a hit or miss but I would think after the remodel they would have fixed that. Could not get any ice on the 10th floor. The ice machine was disassembled in the room which just looked terrible. I have given up on this place even with the decent rate.
We stayed in this hotel thinking it would be an upscale neat hotel for our kids. We were wrong. The rooms were small, the beds were tiny and uncomfortable, there was no fridge or microwave and the TV barely worked. The hotel was very outdated and not a very relaxing place to come to for the night. We typically book places like Holiday Inn Express and learned now that we will continue to stay at places like that. Nicer newer rooms, more amenities, and free breakfast in the morning. I was shocked this place seemed so behind the times. Not to mention the location seemed like a rundown part of town. We will definitely not be staying here again. Did not have any interaction with the staff because unless you are wanting to spend more money on overpriced food you won't need them.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. All staff was very friendly especially during my breakfast, the ladies were very friendly and made me feel comfortable and at home, very hospitable, 5 stars for them.
Nice rooms. Small beds. And the bar is not very good service.
Rooms are awesome clean ?very good location shuttle to take you places
It was ok it was just crowed because of displaced hurricane victims but all and all.... I would stay again it's only my 4th time there.
Horribly dirty and outdated. Staff was downright rude when I tried to switch rooms and even came in without permission while I was packing to assess the 'supposed' issues.
The service was great, the staff helped us with everything we needed. The room seemed very clean, as did the rest of the hotel. The pool and workout machines were great. The hotel was in a great spot, where we could access all the things we needed in the city.
I unfortunately trusted Priceline to give me a 3.5 star hotel because they listed top brands. Of course I got the worst of the bunch. It is actually a 3 star hotel.
However, I would give it 2 stars based on every single 3 star hotel I ve stayed in and I have been traveling the world for a year. This hotel is outdated beyond anything I ve seen. It s filthy, the cleaning crew actually put a do not disturb sign on my door so that they didn t have to clean it.
Horrible area, horrible hotel with no amenities except for a small pool and a couple treadmills
I paid $29 for a mediocre steak from Bristol s restaurant which is in the hotel. It doesn t come with sides. So an addition $7 for 6 small asparagus. Plus tax and 18% gratuity. I paid an additional $20 to tip room service. They won t even open include a glass of water without a charge. $60 for a restaurant that is on par with Applebee s
Janky swanky!!! We paid $102. For that, it would have been nice to have been in a room that had a mini fridge, exhaust in the bathroom, and an ac that got colder than 70. Lesson learned, not staying here again.
2 star hotel. Undergoing constriction at 7 am daily. Also room service lacked severely . waited til 4 pm for it. Staff friendly but who cares about friendly when you need SERVICE. CARPET DISGUSTING CEILING PEILING FULL SIZE BEDS NOT QUEEN NO FREE BREAKFAST MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN BUT NOT WALKABLE. OVERALL 2 STAR
Need more update in the room no refrigerator in the room
