Clean and quiet rooms. Friendly staff that accommadated my late night check-in with a few extra hours the following day to check-out without rushing:) Conveniently located near several restaurants, grocery stores, a mall, and a nearby movie theatre. I would definitely stay here again because not only was my room affordable, but my overall stay was hassle free and actually pretty relaxing!

Nice Marriott Courtyard close to O'hare and neighboring suburbs and businesses. Lobby and Bistro area have been refurbished to the new Courtyard style and it would appear that the rooms will be next. My room was still the older style and had yet to be remodeled. Some of the furnishings were new as was the flat screen. The TV service was the newer Marriott standard with OTT services (internet tv such as Netflix, YouTube, etc) incorporated with the satellite service. Nice option, especially when the thunderstorm took out the satellite service. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel. Spent a week on site on business. Could use a facelift, but the staff was nice, and beds were comfortable.
This hotel was clean and nice and the food in the restaurant was delicious. However, there is no shuttle to the airport. You have to pay a taxi to get there. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport. I'm not sure it should be called an airport hotel.
Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, Starbucks on site and it's crazy close to a train station.

Don't waste your points on this place. Dirty carpet and walls..if you don't request a courtyard room you get the view of semi truck parking and noisy highway. A glass of wine is $17.50 at their make shift bar and there is no free coffee at all! No continental breakfast.. nothing. I'm a Marriott owner and very disappointed I wasted my points to stay at this place.
Stayed twice at this hotel now and both times I received great service. Highly recommended to stay here.
It was just okay. No welcome gifts (which is not a huge deal, just what I'm used to with Marriott. ) No wifi password given. It was also under construction, which we were not told about. Overall it served its purpose as a place to sleep.

I drove up from Tampa 7.25 and checked in; this is my second stay here.
The staff here are ABSOLUTELY incredible; professional, kind and they all have sensational attitudes.
I have no plans to return to the area anytime soon as my reason to come up this time was to empty my storage. However, if I do come up, I ll go out of my way to book here, even if it s geographically less convenient for me.
Another worthy mention: I needed ice yesterday and the housekeeping employee offered to escort me upstairs just to get it.

Like that the rooms here have balconies. The breakfast bistro isn t included but you can pay to have it included. It s well worth it!!! The pancakes are awesome!
These reviews must be from the 90s. I checked out after an hour in the room. The lobby was nice and renovated but that's where it ended. Hallways had stained floors throughout, the bed was so worn out I could feel the foundation through the mattress, air conditioner barely cooled and was extremely noisy.
Clean rooms, pool was nice, parking was close to rooms, food was reasonably priced.
The location seems to be a little older than some, but the place was nicely appointed with all the things I needed. I was fortunate to have a small deck overlooking the well manicured courtyard. One great thing is that this location is very close to O'Hare. That was also the only negative I have to this location. Depending on the wind, I found that we sometimes were on the approach for incoming aircraft. It was not overwhelming, but still noticable. Despite this, I will stay here again on my next visit.
Room was clean and the beds are comfortable. The noise from the airport is bearable but may be loud to a light sleeper. The only problem I had was that the sink clogged, but the staff fixed it right away.
Excellent stay. Couldn't have been more perfect. The staff is kind and accommodating and the rooms are beautiful and clean!

Lots of construction in the area as of may 2017. Not the friendliest Marriott front desk staff. I'd recommend staying somewhere else in the area.
No shuttle so if you want to use it for airport access you have better choices.

It's one of the better and nicer courtyards I've been to. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are big and nicely furnished.
We were forced to stay here for a softball tournament. Rooms smelled of mildew, sheets had hair on them, and breakfast is not worth the extra charge! People were itchy (some had red spots) after being in the hot tub. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Just felt like an old hotel that needs some work.
Nice hotel but they have updated updated there air conditioning system and now you no longer can control your a.c. in your room. The coldest you can get your room is 68. I will not be staying here any more. Can you believe that?
We were very pleased with our room. We arrived late in the evening. Check in was very quick and they already had a crib/pack and play set up as requested. Our only complaint was that our door stuck a little, bit was nothing that would keep us from staying again. We felt that the location was very convenient and the price was very reasonable for the room. Breakfast was not included in the total price.
This is a great hotel but I gave it 3 stars because I had to get kicked out because I accidentally say hi way too loudly to a receptionist(She's a girl BTW) She had brown hair. Please get her fired, this is appsolute BS. So rude, I better should come back and not see her face again
Overall, our stay was fine. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel is nice and rooms were spacious and clean. The air conditioning in our room was seriously lacking and unable to properly cool the room.

When I arrived, they did not have a room although I bought it for up to a month.

Great staff, really enjoyed my room and the pool and hot tub, weather wasn't sunny and warm so I couldn't enjoy the courtyard and I would have enjoyed the evening sitting u see the stars (and airplanes) near airport.

Told breakfast included to find out after standing on line for 15 minutes at the breakfast line that it was not included. Could not print boarding pass. Very frustrating morning. Staff polite and site clean, but infrastructure sucks. Wasted 30 minutes to not have a printed boarding pass and to not have breakfast.
I checked in for the Second night in a row there ...the manager was working front desk gave me same room I had which was fine. I get to room and both keys don t work. Went back to counter and had to wait 10 minutes for her to return to desk. Then she gave me different keys. When I get back to my room and opened my door my room was not cleaned since I checked out at 830 that morning. Bed and everything still just as I left it earlier when I checked out. Mind you I checked in at 800 that same night. She was very rude saying that it s not policy to clean rooms for stay over...I told her I checked out for one day stay and came back for second night which is not considered stay over because I checked out of hotel. She said I was one of few who had a problem with room not being cleaned and said welcome to covid as if that s an excuse not to clean their rooms. She gave me a different room with an extremely rude attitude.
It was, two of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. It felt like I was laying on a sheet of plywood, the pillows were absolutely junk. I had all four under my head and still felt like one, the air conditioner would not stay at the set More
Staff is really nice. They have adjusted well for the times. Only thing is pool area needs updated and the pool is freezing to the point of almost intolerable.
They have a nice courtyard that was nice for our daughter to play in.
Stayed at courtyard marriot wood dale for work. Check in was super easy, rooms were clean and the cafe was good
It is a normal standard hotel in a very remote area in the outskirts of Chicago and it is close to the CEVA office.
Staff was friendly and the room was clean. The main city is around 30 minutes away. Lots of food options nearby.

I don't mean to post anything negative, but as a woman who grew up in Wood Dale and now visits...please do not send your family members or anyone you know to the Courtyard Marriott in Wood Dale on Wood Dale road. Last night their was a cockroach in our bathroom. The manager said it wasn't a roach (I have a picture), that its an outside bug and it doesn't warrant any refunds. The maintenance guy came in and sprayed chemicals all over so naturally I needed out of the room asap. They honored that and said I should've been happy with that. I got a knock at my door 10 minutes later and a woman asked me if I saw a roach in my room. I said yes!!! She said her and her friends room had them too and the manager stated maybe they brought it to the hotel themselves. I don't write negative reviews and I've stayed here many times. I've brought my daughter here to pool parties. It's a shame and if they would've been nice and helped us, I wouldn't say anything. No place is perfect. Watch out.
This location meets a travelers needs, but it leaves the seasoned traveler wanting, it feels a little utilitarian. Small things like the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree line that many other Courtyard properties carry. Bedding could be improved yet the mattress's are good. The service and personnel are adequate.
