Courtyard Marriott, Wooddale Illinois Review

Clean, good service, and close to food and shopping.

We were using it to stay overnight and fly out the next to for our vacation. It was really nice and a very simple play to stay that is right by the airport.

WARNING: This hotel has HD TVs in the room that they disable the inputs on. If you plan on hooking up anything to the TV, including a computer, DVD player, or bluray player, you will find out that you can do nothing of the sorts, as they have disabled all inputs on the TV. I changed my 4 day reservation to the Doubletree hotel down the street which graciously allows you the freedoms to connect what you'd like to.

Another day another dot to link...that's a personal message to myself. The staff and the hotel all together was professional courteous and had a clean courtyard and room.

I was at the hotel, in the lobby, at the same time that Eric & Rob Bogue-Longhini were at the desk. I observed the entire confrontation they had with the desk person. What a bunch of a-holes those two were...speaking to the desk person in a demeaning and confrontational way. These guys give gays a bad name...I am not prejudiced and am very accepting of gays(have gay friends and relatives), but these two thought they should be treated special BECAUSE they were gay!

I guess they never learned you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. God help the hotel they went to. If you are a hotel operator and see them coming, turn on the "NO VACANCY" sign fast! NOT because they are gay...but because they are JERKS.

We booked the room despite various negative reviews. I cant say anything about the fitness center or pool but we were pleasantly surprised at how well we were taken care of. Front desk attendant was very helpful and caring. She gave us some great advice to avoid the blue line trains. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel as a whole was insulated well on the first floor, as we couldnt hear any of the incoming landing airplanes. Hallway insulation wasn't as good, as we could hear some loud talkers. All in all, of stay here again without question.

The room was large and very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Went there for a party. It was nice and clean and I enjoyed my stay. I felt safe and I had a nice view of the courtyard from the room.

Clean, modern lobby with 'The Bistro' cafe in the lobby, along with the 24 hour Marketplace for snacks & sundries. Lots of parking, too. The area is nothing special, to be sure. Lots of light industry, O'Hare airport is right there, and the jets occasionally roar overhead, but it's cool. In room heating and cooling works perfectly, but the rooms seem a bit smaller than usual. Carpets, drapes, needing and linens were all new, and the place is definitely maintained and not run down. No regrets...

This hotel is conveniently located. It has absolutely wonderful staff.The rooms are clean and the environment is beautiful. I recommend them to anyone.

Rooms were fine. Didn't appreciate being put in the first floor since people can look in from the parking lot. Had to switch out the coffee maker twice before they gave us a working one.

Good breakfast and portions reasonable. Clean look and room in order. Iron provided as a nice plus though it probably needs to be replaced. Free WiFi also good. Service desk polite.

Great hotel, good structure, very friendly and helpful staff, preferably rooms that are facing the inner part of the hotel, are quieter!

Clean rooms, friendly service, and very accommodating staff. I've stayed her multiple times and never encountered any major issues.

Stayed here for a day 20-21 July 2019. It's a great hotel.

I loved this hotel. The pool area has hot tub and it opens early and stays open late. All the rooms have either a patio or a balcony. The stay was comfortable because I could just go out the patio door to smoke instead of having to leave out the hotel room and walk through the halls and out the doors of the hotel

I've stayed here twice now and I'm a little disappointed. The first time nothing too exciting happened. However, I could instantly tell that this was an older hotel. Even with new furniture, wallpaper, and paint; I could tell it was old.
This time, I got in and noticed a few ants on the desk. After I got rid of about ten of them, I didn't notice any others. I lied down on the bed and started to notice ants on the ceiling. I started to investigate more and saw them on the walls, along the floor boards, on the night stand, etc...
I went down and asked to be moved. After some reluctantness by the staff, they did get me into another room. However I had to wait for them to get it ready. This was at 9:30pm, so it appeared that a maintenance man was the one that got the room ready. This made me wonder if someone checked out late and housekeeping didn't clean the room because they were gone.
Whatever the case may have been, I got into the room and it looked okay. I got settled in and was going to get into bed, pulled back the sheets and noticed what looked to be fuzz. I picked it off and realized it was dead skin. I looked around a little more and noticed hair on the sheets. Looks like this bed was not changed. Luckily, there were two beds, so I inspected the other bed. It looked fine. So I went to bed.
Next morning I got into the shower and noticed that there were little hairs on the shower wall from someone shaving and tapping the razor out on the wall. Obviously I had a dirty room. On top of all of this, the room smelled funcky.
I probably won't use this hotel again when I come back in a month. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

This place is great! Booked this hotel becuase we were doing some shopping at the mall and just wanted somewhere to relax afterwards instead of driving back home. Clean room, nice and quiet and the pool was a plus. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and very welcoming. Will most definitely be staying again.

I stay almost exclusively at Marriott properties, and have done this for about 18 years! I've never had an issue with any Marriott property.

Room was ok, the bistro gets busy in the morning and they seem rushed. Customer service falls as a result of that so go when it isn't busy. (Early). Dinner food was good breakfast food was microwaved

Great place, for business Or family - excellent place, recommended for the cost-benefit !! Very clean rooms, offer free transportation to any place within a 5 mile radius, has a restaurant, business center with free internet computers, free internet access throughout the hotel for mobiles, meeting rooms, pool Heated, Fitness Center and ample parking. You can not ask for more!

The room was big and it was clean. The staff was excellent. Only reason why this was given 4 stars is that they held over $400 on our cc for the room and incidentals and we have never experienced that before. Pool was nice. Breakfast was nice but we did not like the set up as it was long and tedious so we decided to get a refund for our paid breakfast the next day and we went to Denny s. The bathroom had his weird sign on the sprinkler and I found it comical, and that s why I took a pic.

Comfortable overnight stay. Hardly any guests - that explains why the coffee shop was deserted. Shuttle available to and from airport. Large and comfortable rooms. Away from the city.

Excellent hotel for visiting this area. We use frequently when visiting family in Battery Park.

Standard hotel with a cool lounge area, but the nice lady behind the bar is working way too hard in the morning breakfast rush. Please hire some help.

Good value place to stay at...we always stay at this hotel when we are visiting family in the area. Beds are clean and rooms smell good and they always have friendly staff. I would give it 5 stars but we have run into small issues before. Broken iron...broken A/C another occasion but either way they have always fix the issue or have moved us to a different room.

Nice hot tub, wish it bubbled. Clean rooms, comfy bed, smartTV to stream.

Very noisy AC unit that wasn't very cold. No other open rooms and no maintenance available to fix.

I stopped by for a work event. It was a sponsored cocktail hour. The appetizers were quite good. The open bar was okay. Can't complain when it's free! Wish they had a better wine selection.

The lady that served us breakfast was so helpful and kind!

Came here for a meeting. Had plenty of water to drink. Ladies bathrooms did run out of paper towel and the bin was overflowing. Overall nice facility.

Given the affordable price, this hotel is much better than we had expected. The room is clean, and well maintained. service is good, free wifi, free pc in the lobby, you can also use the printer for free. We will be glad to stay there again next time to Chicago.

Not sound proof at all, no mini fridge. Night staff was very very nice.

It is quiet, most of the staff very attentive. I do not know why they only left water the first day. But otherwise very good.

It s old motel with small rooms but common areas renovated. Not a bad thing for what I paid.

this is a nice hotel. staff is very nice room is clean and quite modern. has a bar and room service on site. breakfast not included with room but with the discount rate it was expected.

Rooms are nice. Convenient location to highways and restaurants. No free coffee in the lobby, but can be purchased from the in house cafe. Easy check on process and helpful staff.

Jorene was incredible. She went above and beyond in her service to make sure we had the best visit possible. I loved that our room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard and the room itself was well-kept. The happy hour was a nice bonus! I highly recommend staying here.

Nice part of town. Not too far from O'Hare Airport, but no shuttle.

Stayed here are couple times, I've never had 1 bad thing to say about this place. Staff is friendly, Clean environment.

There is no free breakfast which I have become accustomed to. I was also told by staff that there was a free shuttle to the O'hare which was not true.

The hotel lobby was quite nice, with a small bistro. The entire hotel is only one floor which was a bit odd for a marriott. The rooms inside were okay, but our TV didn't work. Also the bathroom did not have a fan, which was an inconvenience at times. Additionally no complimentary breakfast was offered and the gym was very small.

Our room was a little small compared to other hotels we stay at but it was a nice hotel the breakfast was good and so was dinner the staff was iffy some people were nice and some people just acted as if they didnt want to be there.

Large urine stain on my mattress . Got a free breakfast as compensation, but that's a pretty serious issue that deserved more response.

Absolutely first class! The suite was spectacular and the staff treated me like I was a queen!!

The room was clean & neat. TV programing left a lot to be desired for me. Airport near by, however, not bothered with plane noise. Food a bit pricey l thought. Very decent air conditioning. Bed pass or fail; pass...

Room was not cleaned very well before we got there. Crumbs on the floor and half a bag of candy and a pair of tweezers laying around.

Great rooms! Location is good because it is right next to the highway

The hotel was ok, our bed sheet was dirty with dried blood. Also our neighbors were cursing and singing out loud all night at 2:30 am I finally called front desk two different times nothing was done about the loud singing with an amplifier at 12, 1 2, 3, in the morning so I didn't get good sleep and we had to drive five hours to get home the next morning. Will not consider staying at this hotel again.
