We ordered sliding windows for the bedrooms in our home. They totally suck! They freeze up... we wouldn't be able to get out of the windows in an emergency if we had to. Duraco did not honor their crappy product. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I wish I could give them a 0. It's official. They were screwing clients for some time and now are closed. Matthew G the President is a snake and a liar. Countless people at now left without closure on jobs. Myself included. We have been having issues with them since April 2018. So much for the lifetime warranty. Customer service is non existent after they install your windows and good luck having them return your calls when there is a problem. They might have been reputable back in the day but now their installation, cleanliness after a job, and service is poor.

This is the worst window company ever!

Several years ago I called to get a window replaced, seal was gone. They refused to come to my home claiming there was no way I had their windows.
After many calls and a big fight they came , yes they were their windows.
After they fixed it , PS the lifetime Warrenty is BS, I had to pay, they adjusted the window.
Now the window only closed from pushing it from the outside.

Ok today , we have another window that s gone, I called, they said some one would be calling to set up a time to review what needed to be done.
No one called after 5 days
I called again , same story again.
Another 5 days by, no call from them.
I called the owner and left him a concerned but civil message.
3 days latter , no return call from him,,, so he drives the company culture, which brutal service.

This is last place I would suggest supporting.

Worst experience of my life... got my windows installed 6 months ago, they cracked two frames during the install and after 10 phone calls and an email chain 3 miles long they finally sent someone to measure the broken parts (they should know the measurements, they built the windows) it has been a month since and no communication from Duraco. Besides that, my new energy-efficient windows are cold to the touch and fog up more than my old wood sliders.

Would give zero stars if I could.

Avoid this company! We had such a terrible experience that I had to write a review. They don't return phone calls, they have poor products and just a total lack of customer service. We have hired many companies before who care for their customers and appreciate your business. This is not one of them.

No communication in the office. Very rude people. I paid for my windows and they didn t finish the job, it s been 3 weeks! Don t call them. They took a good company stormtite windows and drove it to the ground.

Purchased windows and doors from this company in the past and no problems... This time was an absolute nightmare, even though we spent over $10,000!! The complete lack of communication and customer service is completely unacceptable!! When we picked the windows up from factory they were not even packaged properly, saying they were out of bubble wrap??

I wouldn't recommend this company if they were last window company in the universe. Warranty is a joke, and trying to get ahold of the service department well, good luck!! 8 months of waiting to get a call back and still waiting...

Ordered inside door with storm door. First of all ...

Ordered inside door with storm door. First of all waited 4 months before going to place of business only to be told that my storm door was a couple weeks out. They made arrangements to install my door which they did. Then when they installed my storm door , which was a royal model #930 that comes with a dead bolt and a 16" kick plate, they proceeded to install a 78" with no dead bolt, and a 4" kick plate and not a royal #930, onto my 80" door frame, leaving a 2" air gap underneath the storm door, and the installer saying that this is normal. Also they did not silicone under or over top the frame. Silicone all over my floor, did not finish installing the interior moulding correctly. So we sent emails, they sent back their installer who took the incorrect storm door and speaking with the installation manager who stated he would get back to me and that my correct door is in the shop, still have not corrected the issue nor have gotten my storm door or called back. Any attempt to remedy the situation has been done because I KEEP CALLING, the only good thing is I refused to pay in full , therefore they need what I have ,their payment for a COMPLETED JOB. I do not believe they will fulfill the agreement therefore I will look for a reputable company to proceed with getting my correct storm door. One Thing can be certain, any future business with this company from myself or anybody that needs windows or doors will not be from duraco. I give duraco a -4 star but unfortunately they don't have that.

I have had the worst experience with Duraco. We used them for 4 new windows in the front of our house and from the start have had nothing but issues. The installation was a mess, they cracked the drywall, didn't line up framing, didn't clean up after themselves and did the worse caulking job I have ever seen. They came back to fix everything except the caulking last fall. We were getting our house painted so they came back in the spring to fix it before we painted. That caulking job was equally awful so it was decided that we would get the house painted and they would come back after to put a nice clean line on. Well they came back and cut into our beautiful new paint job all around the 4 front windows. I put all of our awful photos on Facebook and when we saw my post they texted me and said don't worry we will make it right. They offered to get their painter out to repair and I said under no circumstances will they ever touch my house again. I received approval for our painters to come back and fix their mess and they would pay me back, they knew how much because they had a copy of the quote. Now almost $700 later and guess what, they haven't paid me. They were ignoring most of my emails and when she takes my calls or emails back she is waiting on a signature for my cheque. I will get my money back somehow. For your own good, Do not use Duraco!!!

Salesman had excellent customer service, love that the windows are made in Winnipeg, the price is higher but they have a long warranty. If you'd like attentive service, no pressure sales and a company that only talks about themselves and not bad mouthing others choose Duraco. JEFF W was awesome!

Piss poor customer service. ..had a problem with my shutter window can you believe it was to small. ..so the guy comes back to check it out. ...it's been 3 weeks hasn't gotten back to me about if they will replace it.or if it's under warranty. ..mmmmm does it not say life time warranty. ...bs...stay away

For 3 years we have been trying to come to a resolution with a Duraco. They have ignored and avoided phone calls and emails. Their current attempt at a fix was done with both the owner and install manager on site and it s the worst job I have ever seen. Haven t heard from them in over a month. They block negative reviews on their social media. It s really telling when you have to block people from commenting on your posts rather than just fix the problem.

My front door assembly is still leaking cold air even after they supposedly fixed it last spring. Now they're not answering their phone. I've been on hold most of the morning after repeated calls. Dealing with Duraco was a big mistake.

If I can give them 0, I would. They act as though they're customer centric until they get the sale. They went back on their word and anything brought forward they say doesn't fall under the warrantee. Awful customer service.
