The staff and their service was way below what they should be for a five-star hotel. When we arrived the hotel, the manager told us they overbooked our stay and had to rearrange us to another place. The attitude of that manager was rude and she was being like overbooking isn't their fault and we should take all the consequences. And the price of the hotel they reaccomadated us was only half of the price we already paid for conrad. Our experience was so disappointing and I suggested not to stay at this hotel unless you really want to waste your money.

Attended a conference at the Conrad. Good location, near the water, good place to explore. The hotel itself looks new, nice lobby, spacious. Meeting rooms are a little cramped if it's a large conference I.e. more than 300 people. Otherwise amenities and services appear to be good.

It was a great experience and staying here. We had a nice suite with A living room area. It was very cozy, modern, and the staff was very nice. They were so helpful and even on Christmas Eve were so cheery and nice!! There is a lot to do nearby and we would stay there again. We also loved the Nespresso coffee in the room! LOL

Beautiful hotel and I loved our room. We were there for a week so it was nice to have a separate living area to the bedroom. The shower room was huge and had the first rainfall showerhead I've ever used that was powerful enough to wash my hair. Lobby is lovely and spacious and I felt fine hanging out there for a few hours after I checked out before heading off to the airport. The only annoyance is the lift that dings at each floor you go past.

Sophisticated serene artistic modern classy and elegant. Mix it all up and you get the gigantic art deco art of the 2nd floor lounge of the Conrad hotel. The finest and most famous come spend there time on this prime real estate with it's fine dining and it's esquisite rooms as you get to have the best views from the north end of the island. Welcome to the best of the best and it will cost you a good penny. Enjoy and chill because you've got money

This is a review of the Loopy Doopy bar, which is connected to the hotel. This is a nice rooftop bar with great views across the Hudson. Drinks are on the pricier side and the space is somewhat small, but it's a nice atmosphere, especially on a night where it's not too crowded. We had an enjoyable time here.

Excellent hotel and wonderful stay. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud and the restaurant had a delicious burger and grilled chicken.

I appreciated staying there and didn't want to leave. As a Hilton team member, I was impressed and this property represents the company well. If quality is what you want, then the Conrad New York is your best choice.

I accidentally booked the wrong dates and asked them to change the dates. They refused and insisted on charging me the first night. Per reservation agreement, they are entitled to charge the first night without tax, but they turned out to charge me plus tax. This hotel is such unfriendly to guests. My family and I will never stay with any Conrad or Hilton establishment ever again.

Rooms are good size and comfortable. The attempt to be chic and minimalist, however, meant there was a learning curve for how use the shower or hand dryer in public restroom and I could not get room service to work via TV controls. Only received error messages and just gave up. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Beautiful place, service is also very good. Have nice little gym. Unfortunately we haven't chance to experience the roof top bar because it is closed in winter.
Room is spacious and has a parlor. All the controls are touch panels. Bathroom can be bigger to fit both people in, shower room is actually more spacious than bathroom. And I would prefer tule on windows instead of blinds.

I am very pleased with the excellent customer service shown by this hotel' staff. I am so touched that they did their best to accommodate my last minute request. And a special commendation should be given to Doris Fong, whom had provided a top notch excellent service beyond my expectation. She deserved a medal for that. With Doris as a staff of Conrad New York, this hotel will remain as my preference hotel in the future. Very well done and excellent customer service!

We had a really pleasant stay here last weekend. The room is spacious, the shower is great, and the bathrobe is so soft and comfortable! As a diamond member, we get invited to the restaurant on lobby level to enjoy wine and cheese in the afternoon. The breakfast is top-notched in NYC. The overall service is awesome.

The Conrad New York was the perfect hotel for my birthday weekend celebration in New York! The hotel itself is in a great location, the lobby is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and polite. The room was wonderful, bed super comfortable, the shower was great, the turn down service was very nice and the cleaning staff made the stay so enjoyable! The Conrad went out of their way to make our weekend special, the reached out to me via social media and wished us a great trip and they had a special birthday treat waiting in our room when we returned on Friday night. I would highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure. It was super accessible to public transportation and there is a lot of great shopping and places to eat within a few blocks!

Gorgeous hotel, nice rooftop lounge serving drinks only, lobby bar food is great. However, for 5 Star hotel expected better service from entrance to overall interaction. The service was good but not the cohesive trained service consistency other hotel brands strive for through Culture and service training.

The rooms are brilliant.

The rooms are brilliant.
The view to the river magnificent.
The location is superb.
Staff were, almost without fail, nice

But if you are gluten intolerant... Very limited options.
The rooftop terrace is very disappointing - no food, just drink.

I can't say enough about the service here at this hotel. When we checked in, Elliot accommodated our requests to our satisfaction. When we needed bottles of water, humidifiers, a fridge, a crib... we felt the staff went the extra mile and were timely with all of our requests.

To top it off, the housekeeping Manager Patrick really went the extra mile and sent us extra treats and milk for our toddler. He was super warm and inviting, he made our visit feel extra special.

I would recommend anybody come stay the Conrad Downtown.

I stayed at the Conrad for the first time a few weeks ago. I loved it! The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room had a nice view with 2 comfortable queen beds separated by a living room. In between is the bathroom. The actual bathroom has the toilet and sink in it with a very small counter top. The shower is a large walk in. Across from the bathroom is a small bar with a sink and fridge, but the fridge is stocked which means you cannot use it to store any food you may have. It would be nice if a section was left empty to be able to do so. There's a TV in the living room as well as the bedroom. The room also has complimentary water bottles which I think is always a nice addition. The lobby is very nice with big coaches and chairs. Just off the lobby there a restaurant. The bartenders are really nice. Drinks and food are great. The cucumber gimlet is delish!
The best though is the rooftop bar. Its not a very large space so get there early. They are known for their Loopy Doopy Ice Pops. I had a strawberry one with prosecco, it was yummy!! Do not miss spending time up on the roof, its very nice!
The hotel is located across the street from The Irish Park Memorial and only a few blocks from The Freedom Tower. Close by there is also a mall with top end stores and located just outside of that are a couple of pretty good restaurants with nice views on New Jersey just across the way. The Seaglass Carousal isn't too far. If you are looking for a hotel in the Chelsea area definitely stay here.
Keep On Traveling!

5 star does capture the excellent decor, great service, and timely room service and EXCELLENT on every level (including freshness) for their meals. An experience indeed like no other. Great cultural decor. There is no place like the NYC, when it's done right it surpasses any other place.

Very nice stay

Very nice stay
My wife and I live about 2 hours drive from NYC and like to visit the city every year or two to eat good food and do touristy things. This hotel was perfect for that. We got a great value on the room: $225 for a Saturday night in January. The room itself was quite large for a NYC room. It was very clean and modern, the shower was great, and they provided really comfy bath robes. Basically it was everything you could ask for from a 5 star hotel that you plan on spending a night or two at.

We were a little hesitant to stay so far south in Manhattan but it actually worked out pretty nicely. We were at a prime location to see the new WTC, lots of good quick food options immediately next door, and the subway to uptown locations was only about a 10 minute walk. Speaking of the subway... you have to see the new $4 billion Oculus station next to the Conrad. I don't even know if it's good or bad, you just have to see it for yourself.

I have never been treated so poorly as I was at this hotel. I tried using their in-house dry cleaning service for a suit jacket and two dress shirts. I left it in the hotel-provided bag inside the door of my room when I left for the day and it somehow disappeared, never to be seen again. The staff I spoke to before checking out of the hotel indicated that it would all be taken care of, but it has now been months and I've received nothing but a run-around (after repeated phone calls by me with no return calls). They even went so far as to indicate that I was lying. The jacket was especially important to me as I wore it on my wedding day. I travel to NY frequently on business and pleasure and will never stay here again.

This is one fantastic hotel. Beautiful spacious lobby which is a rarity in New York welcomes you as you walk up the steps. Truffles at night for certain Hilton honors levels with a hand written note. Kids loved it. Super friendly staff. Morning breakfast buffet was fantastic. Everything from service to accommodations was great!

Great hotel in the battery park area. Rooms are huge - who wouldn't want a living room and a bedroom. Beds are nice and everything still seems really new. Defintely my go to hotel for NYC. Prices seem reasonable for the area and what you get.

Spectacular hotel as I was there for a conference, located in a great area. Interior of the hotel is beautiful and very modern and the service is great. Definitely a place to visit if you like the lower Manhattan area and being near the Hudson.

Conrad New York is a very well maintained hotel with fantastic amenities and a quick and ready staff. Our room was wonderful, we were especially impress by the sliding doors and the rainfall showerhead. The complimentary toiletries were wonderful as well. The technology in the room was impressive: the lighting system was capable of setting a variety of ambiances and the multiple Chambers with flat screen tvs were an unexpected surprise. I encourage anyone staying on the west side of Manhattan to enjoy this fabulous hotel.

Five star accommodations. Big suites with great views of the water. Cool rooftop patio (Loopy Doopy), where you can get some iconic cocktails. Lovely artwork and accents throughout the hotel. Good restaurant. Their only drawback is that they have no pool. Quiet Battery Park location, near trendy eateries and close to World Trade Center Memorial. On our visit, they left my wife a bottle of champagne for her birthday. Top notch service!

Went to Loopy Doopy, the rooftop bar. Prosecco with flavored popsicles is their special drink. Quite good. $22-$25 per drink, so on the expensive side. Fun, and great views. Good for one drink and the atmosphere before moving on.
