In the middle of nowhere, a luxurious paradise to escape from everywhere. Stay on the main island, next to the house reef for optimal fun. The intro dives at the Ocean center are beyond worth it, as is snorkel hopping (we saw Whale Sharks and Manta Rays!). Food at Mandhoo is the best, Velu is a lovely, expensive, treat. Load up on the buffet breakfast. The staff is exceptional, and plentiful. You are going to spend a lot at the Conrad, well worth it in service of a lifetime of memories.

Very nice resort with excellent service. Everybody is very friendly. Snorkeling on the house reef is good but unfortunately it died a couple years ago. Still plenty of fish around and also saw reef sharks turtles etc. As Hilton Gold or Diamond you get free afternoon tea and at happy hour a small snack and free drinks.

Great staff and super welcoming. Concierge is stop notch. The views here are amazing. Be sure to pay attention to the weather although it's sometimes unpredictable due to tropical area. It's pricey here so make sure you budget out before you go. You are also required to take a sea plane or boat to get to here from the main airport. Most restaurants are closed on off hours (only open for lunch and dinner).

$11 for a bottle of water at dinner and lunch and anywhere else on property. Water is provided free in the room. Also, benefits for elite members seem to be dwindling. Between the time i made the reservations and actual stay, benefits were cut. Lots of great things about the hotel too.

There was a slight rainy season in November, so it rained a little, but when it was sunny, Rangali was almost like heaven!
No matter where you eat in the restaurant, the food is delicious and the view is great and always dreamy.
The live performance by the singer performed in the bar at night was about to be drawn in forgot the time
The staff members are always smiling and helpful, and some of the very kind Japanese staff members are safe, so I think it's safe even in the unlikely event!
It is a paradise I want to go by all means again.

In some areas, not 5-star quality
It can not be that we (2 people) with 4 empty plates at the table, because no waiter dumped. Since the service is better in a simple inn

This a fantastic resort and was a great first trip...

This a fantastic resort and was a great first trip to Maldives which has left us craving for more. The entire island is the Conrad resort and there's nothing else around. There are two islands, one is the quite side only for adults and the other one is the main island with kids. We stayed at the island for 5 days which was a good amount for us (we probably would get bored if we had stayed longer). The staff there is really nice for the most part (some do need extra training) and we met some wonderful staff members. We decided to stay only on the island and experience everything around the island rather than doing multiple excursions which we felt was a good decision. There are multiple things to do around the island and we were fully occupied over the 5 days. We stayed at the Water Villa (317) on the quite island facing the west where the waves were calmer. The Beach Villas were also very nice and each beach villa leads to the beach directly so this would have been just as good. The regular water villas does not have a glass floor but the premium water villas do have the glass floors. Everything on the island comes at a premium which was something people were commenting on and were not too thrilled about but this is an exclusive island and if you're paying such a high nightly rate then the rest of the expenses should be a surprise.
We started off our trip by exploring the island and going for the 2 hour spa massage at Mandoo which was needed after our long flights. We didn't get reservations for the over water spa but in all honesty we were so relaxed that it wouldn't have mattered. It was my wife's birthday and I arranged a Private Dinner which takes place at the tip of the island which is cordoned off for the dinner. It's a really nice, romantic experience as a couple and the service was great. Plan for this dinner in advance including the meal, wine, any special requests as everything is expensive and you want this event to be flawless. The personal concierge can help with all the preparations but ensure that you confirm everything just before the trip as there were a couple of mistakes for our bookings. It was not communicated to the Private Dinner staff that it was my wife's birthday and hence they had not arranged a cake/candles but our waiter was able to make last minute arrangements after we got there for dinner. Also, they got one of our dinner reservations wrong and the agent at the desk initially refused the mistake as it was in the system until I showed them an email confirmation. This was a bit annoying as if I didn't have the email it would have been an unnecessary argument as there is a fine in case you don't make it for your dinner reservations. I was surprised that our first concierge made so many mistakes. It may have been because he was heading for vacation after our second day and we were assigned a new concierge (Noako) who was great. She arranged a bottle of wine for our anniversary and got it delivered to the room and was very helpful through the rest of our stay.
We had breakfast in the room on the first morning (which is delivered for an additional fee). Our breakfast was included and we had an option to go to Atoll Market on the main island or Vilu. We wanted to try both restaurants but Atoll Market was so good that we didn't feel like changing restaurants. The staff and the food options were great. There were some really exotic fruits and the juice bar was phenomenal.
For dinner, we had planned for the Koko grill and Private Dinner, for the rest of the nights we ended up at Rangali Bar. The Rangali Bar was better than we had expected, the staff was so great and we met Chef Binu at the restaurant who made some outstanding dishes for us. He made our trip extra special as he used to come around and ask us about our favorite dishes and then made them for us the next day. A big thanks to CHEF BINU for making our stay extra special and the Rangali staff!! The restaurant has a great setting in the evening and we usually ended up staying there all evening.

It's too late to post the rieviews but it's injustice if I don't rate such a wonderful place as rating and reviews are the most helpful tool for the travellers.
Well summerising our honeymoon trip for Maldives which was organised in mid September..it was started with sea plane. This rangali island is approx 130 km away from the Male city. It takes 25mins in sea plane. Rangali island is made of 3 islands which are connected with the bridge. One island is for water Villas one island includes beach villa restaurants and bars. While the third one is for resort staff. We stayed 4 nights in Conrad 2 nights at over water Villa and 2 nights at beach Villa. It's water is Crystal clear. It was truly paradise on the earth. We booked half board meal which includes breakfast and dinner at Atoll market. Atoll market is buffet place where you get indian, Italian, japanese and Asian food. Being a vegetarian I was worried for food but truly if you are at paradise leave all the worries behind. When staff came to know that we are vegetarian they made extra dishes. I didn't get the chance to miss the home made food.
I would like to suggest that don't go for full board otherwise u won't be able to taste the food from all the restaurants approx 11 restaurants as everything is very expensive. We also experienced lunch at ithaa undersea reastaurent it was wonderful experience. Unfortunately during our stay Muraka was under construction.
I would like to say that don't go for a package. Coordinate directly with the hotel. Package is useless.
We had a return sea plane in the evening from the island at 5 O' clock but they asked to check out at 12 O' clock though during our request they allow to stay till 3 pm. So we feeled that they should adjust timings before we request them if flight is in the evening. Overall it was a wonderful experience...!!! Wished we could stay more.

Honeymoon spot 10 years ago. It was an amazing experience. We stayed in an over water bungalow with a separate massage room. The entire stay you never felt like it was crowded. We had a couple of excellent spa treatments as well as snorkeling every day. While lounging in any of the different private areas along the beach, staff will come around and provide fruit, water and cool towels to make sure you're well taken care of.

Too bad we didn't have such great phones or cameras back then. We definitely want to go back some time.

The resort is amazingly beautiful. Definitely not for someone on a budget . Only downside was few of the male staff had a condisending tone with my wife but soon as they spoke to me the tone changed , the management did take care of us after we explained the issues on how two of the male staff seemed to speak to women with attitude , but for the price you pay to stay here it should have never get to that point.

Lovely resort with nice beaches and great reefs for snorkeling.. Take one of the beach villas near the reefs and you can go snorkeling right outside your room. There were loads of fish, reef sharks and I even spotted a big green turtle.

Big resort, lot of people, very clean, 2 beautiful islands connected with bridge, you can use small electric cars or ferry to get one island from another. The only disadvantage is EVERYTHING IS VERY EXPENSIVE, you have to pay double cost for meals, dives in comparison with other Maldivian Resorts

I was here for vacation many years ago and I still dream about it today. The island was just super nice, the ambience in all places just to relax and the wrapped shoes were completely free - because we were barefoot on the way from arrival to departure.
Only the dinners in the different restaurant were from the value for money very very high, but that is a blame on a very high level.
I hope, I manage to come here again to vacation.

An exceptional hotel, we had the chance to go through this little piece of paradise. The rates are very high but I recommend this piece of paradise, taste it quickly addicted.
The attendance of this hotel is very select.
The choice of restaurants and the quality is amazing. The dives are amazing and the snorkeling also to have the best spot go to the east of the island.
We are just looking forward to returning one day.
Of course remember to book the restaurant under the sea which is a magic moment alone.
An absolutely wonderful holiday.
I recommend the diving club !! Thank you for these unforgettable moments
