Fantastic hotel with a great restaurant. I would recommend to book direct with the hotel to avoid overbooking by third parties.
Everything we wanted: clean, quiet, warm, and the staff was extremely attentive.
Its quite far from Heathrow we booked it to stay after a long flight b4 driving home the next morning. They did mess up our booking but did rectify the mistake. Rooms basic. Evening meal was delicious quite reasonable priced. Breakfast was buffet style included in price average.
Friendly, efficient service but hotel has maintenance issues
Very clean, receptionist was very helpful, (not all facilities were used hence the 4/5 score) room ideal for the 1 night stop over,
We stayed overnight before a flight and it was great for that. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The room was...okay for a one night stay but I wouldn't want to stay for any longer. The room was way too hot and even after blasting the air-conditioner it seemed to shut on and off whenever it felt like it. Only then did I discover the source of the issue, the thermostat had been left on thirty degrees. My only question was, why? I turned it right down but that didn't help me get a better night sleep due to the beds being so uncomfortable. The room felt pretty cramped overall as well. Putting the room aside everything else was good, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great.
The staff lovely, room is smaller than my dressing room, bed has springs, very hard, but but but, it s only for one night so don t want to kick up a fuss, next time if I choose here, it ll be different.
Sufficient.... but leaves a lot to be desired. Pay for parking, economy rooms are extremely small, staff not the friendliest, but ok.
Stayed in the hotel for a night. Great service and very good food and drinks served in the Bar. Staff is very friendly. Will recommend the hotel
Attended a function here last weekend. Everything was clean, well maintained and tidy. Reception staff were polite, helpful and friendly.
All in all a pleasant atmosphere and experience.
Well done. Keep it up.
We did not expect much. And not get much. The room was small, the toilet flush broken, the rooms very noisy and the breakfast was pretty mau. At that time (in the middle of 2014) the hotel was still called 'Comfort Hotel Heathrow'. I hope that a lot has improved.
Busy, good, clean - parking arrangements are dire if busy - which us often.
That a fantastic airport hotel
Staff are warm welcome
Breakfast was good lot of variety
Room all are a bit small but clean and tidy
The was coach parking beside the hotel
Bar and restaurant and gym is available at the hotel
The a WiFi free for all guests
Luggage storage is available for hotel guest
Good for weekend stay
Stayed for a night. Food was very good. Staff was very friendly.
Poor quality of the Breakfast, don't bother, if you're not early then it's dry and cardboard like, certainty not worth the money, stop at Greggs on the way out. Rooms are very tired, found a pair of someone's socks under the bed too. Not the best, try Ibis Styles on Bath Rd, much better.
Hotel is first class also the food hot water on sink took a long time to come through
Front of house was good, food mediocre and shower temperature unstable and TV only partially functional.
Restaurant has a good selection of dishes. Chicken tikka was very delicious and so is the Drunken Pear. Drinks in the bar are reasonable. Good cocktails are served in the bar as well. Enjoyed our dinner in Mercure Hotel Heathrow.
I stayed here as part of a coach trip, and have to say that I was not impressed.
There was a pile of dirty bedding piled outside our room which we assumed would be cleared away, but wasn't. The toilet in our room didn't flush properly. We were put in a large room for our evening meal, which I expected, but the food was poor. Soup in a polystyrene cup, lukewarm shepherd's pie or pasta with mixed veg and a Yorkshire pudding, served on cold plates.
When we came down for breakfast the next morning, we had to queue for 30+ minutes for the tiny dining area as they admitted they didn't have enough staff on to open up the room where we had been the evening before. We were served coffee from a flask, and a 'hot' breakfast on cold plates. There was a continental option but you had to ask for it.
I didn't choose to stay here and, from what I experienced, I would hesitate to stay again.
Good for a short stay if you have a flight to catch from Heathrow.
Stayed at the Mercure at the end of December. Was given a sub standard room. No heating, dirty carpets and no hot water from the shower. Complained in person and in writing. To this date I have not received an acknowledgement or reply from Management (Remi or Pankhaj). Poor customer service seems to be ingrained in this place. Saw other customers complaining about the state of their rooms.
Do yourself a favour and do not use this place.
The breakfast was very good they had many different options. The rooms are nice and were also decorated well. Overall i enjoyed my stay the only thing that could have been improved was the gym room. Our cards were not letting us in so a member of staff helped us and the equipment was inadequate.
OK to use it. The room is small, but for a single person it is not bad. Breakfast is ok. Just waste the car from the airport to the accommodation. It's hard to find a boarding point. The sign is much smaller than the entrance point.
Staff not very welcoming on arrival but otherwise accomodation small basic but suitable for short stay
Friendly staff. Nice clean place. Reasonable prices considering location. Would recommend this place to friends and family
Very impressed with our stay here. Very clean and well presented. Good beds and accommodation for the night. Will use again
Not so good, no heating in bathroom and rop off prices in the bar.
Suggest you try Great Western pub over the road
i booked a Legoland holiday and stayed at the Mecure heathrow hotel 1/2 an hour away from Legoland,
i was really pleased with the hotel, the room was very nice a double bed and a single for my daughter even though it said we were getting twin beds so that was a bonus, the bathroom was nice a bath and shower, the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was lovely i feel there could of been more choice of evening meal on the kids buffet as all that was on offer was sausages, chicken nuggets, chips, peas and beans, my daughter enjoyed the food but it was very samey every night for her, the menu for me was more varied and very nice the prices were reasonable.
Breakfast was lovely more choice and good quality produce and the restaurant staff were very helpful and polite, and made the stay enjoyable, parking was tight for the hotel but the staff were helpful and made sure everyone who needed to park could which was excellent.
The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable, there was a noisy refrigeration unit outside the bedroom window and i worried that it was going to keep us awake from the noise but it didn't so that was good.
overall the stay was excellent
Correct accommodation, comfortable bedding, very good / varied meals and sufficient quantity. Damage to the shower that did not really work, just a trickle of water .. Staff very friendly and welcoming, at the service of the customer. Space "lounge" comfortable for a drink before and / or after eating .. Good stay overall.
I hated every minute of my two night stay. The gentleman greeting me on reception was extremely inpersonal, and wanted me away. Didn't offer me an upgrade, nor whether I wanted breakfast or to book dinner. I was there for business and found the rooms tiny, and really stuff. The shower didn't work, and the glass I had had a huge chip in it. I was lucky not to cut myself. All in all, a really run down and shabby hotel. I will not be staying here, as there are plenty of better hotels nearby
WOW, this hotel was such a pleasant surprise. Doesn't look much from the outside but nice inside, bright, fresh, modern and clean. The bar and restaurant is nice an open but welcoming with a nice variety of things to eat, tastes good too.
Being close to the airport it is serviced but a coach service to Heathrow and close enough for cheap taxi journeys too, we booked this hotel as its further away from the other hotels which made it comparatively cheaper but exceeded expectation, would certainly use again.
So noisy its like being in a circus. A large group arrived and are banging doors, playing loud music, partying and its SO LOUD. I have complained twice, but no help. No heat in the room so very cold. Lock on door doesnt work. Powdered mash potato in the restaurant with my "Cumberland Sausage and Mash" not what you want or expect for that price. Think twice if you want a good nights sleep .. the lower price may not be worth it. I certainly regret my choice. The staff are very nice and very helpful, but haven't been effective quieting these noisy people. Nothing worse than a bad nights sleep before a 24 hr day of travel...sigh
Wasn't aware that my reservation included BEDBUGS!! I stayed at the Mercure for my first experience in London. The only positive was the staff service. I woke up with bedbug bites. The managers promised to follow up with in 48 hours and I have not heard back. I would appreciate a FULL REFUND for my stay! Have not heard back from anyone in regards to my stay that cost me an itching experience as well as a costly laundry visit. Absolutely health hazard! On to the next travel site review...
Great Hotel. Nice dining area. Good food menu having a lot of options. Service in the bar and restaurant is excellent.
Clean rooms and friendly staff but paying to park in don't think Scoooooo.
Standard hotel close to Heathrow. Basic food. Quiet.
Ok for an overnight layover for Heathrow flight, no bells and whistles
It's nice hotel, close to the airport and local amenities.
This hotel is good to stay not only for single person but also with family as it has amazing backyard with greenery and it's staff is also friendly
Wonderful hotel for those who do not speak English great breakfast and service.
Comfortable night before a flight. A bit corporate and not the place for a luxury romantic weekend but clean and staff very helpful.
Very good reataurant food. The staff at the bar and restaurant was professional. Good drinks served at the bar and the price is very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious and had a varied selection. The staff is very smiling and very helpful. I was looking forward to staying at the hotel.
Excellent Service.
The receptionists are well organized and the rooms are perfectly furnished.
No flaws whatsoever.
Fantastic hotel. Really friendly staff, very child friensly. Big thanks to Saj who took the time to chat to our little lad. The rooms were very clean, modern and fairly spacious. Coffee and tea, fridge and safe in the rooms. Lovely dark and quiet rooms even next to the main road. We had some food in the bar so our boy could play on the fun area, and it was freshly cooked and excellent quality. Will use this hotel when visiting Legoland again.
Cool location top and classy hotel for all business and vacation tourist
Dirty, the carpet has probably already gone through a lot. You do not want to talk about the bathroom at all.
Excellent hotel for family room and 14 days parking.
The manager s named RESSLON was very rude and sarcastic. As I complained about the food to the service room then I called the front desk if they could help me to get my money back which I was waiting for. He was at the front desk and he was a manager. He was so rude , raising his voice and sarcastic. Unbelievable that how could he become a manager! He has no customer service skills at all.
I was angry and upset I asked for his name. He said on the phone IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MY NAME THEN COME DOWN STAIRS NOW. I recorded the conversation and emailed his supervisor on 21/7/19. I m still waiting for a reply if not I ll put it on social networks. Never again to this hotel.
Arrived at the hotel and greeted for check-in to be told that our prepaid stay hadn't been prepaid which wasn't true. Had to clarify this via the booking agency who had to call the hotel.
The room was freezing cold when we entered. We put heating on but the room failed to warm up. Only to find that the heating didn't work. Which explains why we had an electric radiator sat there. If anyone's ever used an electric oil radiator you'll know that they make strange noises when warming up or cooling down. Not ideal to be left on overnight if you're a light sleeper.
The beds are uncomfortable. Both myself and wife woke up with bad backs, both nights. The view from our room was restricted by the janitors outdoor bin area. No natural light entering the room. The lights are full with no ceiling light.
The shower kept going cold and warm. No shelf in the shower. Why?
On our 2nd night we got woken up by a loud family at 5.45am slamming doors and talking very loud. This went on for 30 minutes. No member of staff picked up on this.
The ONLY two things I rate at this hotel is the food at the restaurant and the friendly staff. But that's the only reason I haven't rated this hotel with 1 star.
UPDATE/REPLY:
I can assure you I won't be staying again, and like I said, I found your reply to be quite arrogant if I'm honest. Very dismissive to the problems raised.
Just about comfortable enough, good location, served its purpose to get our heads down before flight the morning after. Wouldn't want to stay more than 24 hours.
Rooms are quite small and although they seem to have had a superficial refurb, there are some more fundamental things in need of renewing (Aircon and showers). The location is also quite noisy however the staff at reception were great and the restaurant food was very nice.
A nice hotel. Our room was just a bit too small. The location was not optimal. The food and service were good.
Very nice hotel. Friendly stay
food tasty and value for money. Room clean and comfortable.
Google mapping makes weird assumptions that I have utilised every establishment I pass. The closest I've ever been to this place was last week... overhead in a helicopter.
The hotel was stylish and had a good enough sized restaurant and bar area. The staff were friendly, efficient, hard working and pleasant throughout our stay.
We were in a family room on the 2nd floor which was a great size and had a fridge, hairdryer, iron and board in it. Tea and coffee were supplied and replenished each day.
There was a king size double bed and a standard double sofa bed in it. There was a small dining table with a couple of chairs and a small coffee table and there was still plenty of floor space.
The bathroom was well enough equipped and had plenty of towels available. The towels were changed each day too.
Only downside was there was no drawer space in the room and not many hangers in the wardrobe so we were living out of the suitcase for clothes but that was a very small drawback for a big, clean and very comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children.
The only slight downside is outside and background noise but if you're anywhere near London (and in this case, Heathrow...) that's a natural phenomenon.
COVID19 compliance wise, the staff wore masks, maintained distancing and were visibly sanitizing as they went about the day.
Very pleased with our stay and would stay here again. It's not the Ritz but it's pretty damn good for the price.
Nice place interesting view near to street and bus station
The room was functional but cold and smelled terrible. We left the window open and went down to have a cup of coffee while, hopefully, the room aired a little.
The staff were very polite but the coffee was atrocious and was left un-drunk.
BEWARE THE PARKING SCAM. If you do not notice the cost mentioned on the website, you arrive (in our case late on a cold evening) to find nowhere to stop outside. Luckily, you think, there is a clearly-marked MERCURE HOTEL CAR PARK opposite.
We put the car there while we unloaded the cases, checked in and ordered the coffee and after fifty minutes my brother dove the car away.
No mention was made of that to us despite our interaction with four staff members.
A later call to the Hotel elicited the information that the car park is run by Parking Eye and the that the Hotel would not intervene on our behalf.
Consequently I shall never use a Mecure Hotel again on principle.
Just above the bathtub there are electric wires from the towels heater on the loose. For those who want only to take a shower, there is no isolation preventing the water leaking to the bathroom floor. The flush toilet doesn't work at a first attempt. You have to try more than once until the flush happens. Do you want to use the hot water tap on the washbasin? Be careful. If you open the hot water tap with a short flush, most likely you will see the water running low not hitting the washbasin directly, but floading all the area around the tap.
Excellent value for money for a night before stop to LHR
Helpful, efficient staff. Clean comfortable room. Good provision of food and bar.
Nice room, little low on parking, staff were friendly.
Fantastic stay, super friendly staff and smart clean rooms. Perfect.
Lovely hotel and great shuttle service to the airport although the bus drivers can be a bit miserable
For an overnight stay feasible, if you do not have in front of the ground floor window the garbage and smoking area. Breakfast offer only for first guests sufficient, narrow space with few places then okay, if you are there before the official breakfast time. The side room for 2 groups carelessly and as station concourse!
