This college has been amazing for me in getting back into Art been here twice to finish getting my qualifications for Cardiff Met & then had an unconditional offer studying Advertising based on my course work and results from college. Charmaine Turner deserves a massive thank you for helping me so much with everything, totally amazing person and a great teacher

Was on a first aid course at Coleg Gwent , very very poor standards of training with bullying towards students , would advice people to look elsewhere as not a professional standard of training

Since starting the year in September they've managed to mess up my attendance already. On my ACE it says at the start of the year I was coming in at 9 and going home after 2 hours and not staying in for the whole day. So now my attendance is 82 already. THANKS COLEG GWENT YOU SUCK.

Majority of male teachers at this campus are sexist and majority of students at this college are racist! teaching is at high standards but the atmosphere in this college is hurrendous definitely a lot of things need to be improved!

Best laid plans of mice and men describes this place perfectly. I undertook a 3 year long course in electrical installations passing most modules with distinction but due to my ancient bad GCSE results I was made to take English and Maths as well and for the first 4 weeks I didn't know who's class a was meant to be in during which time I was docked attendance; I also got docked attendance for work experience when I emailed the teachers who's lessons I would be missing explaining why I would not be present. I was also told I would be getting extra time for both of my GCSEs which didn't happen, resulting in a B for English (thanks youtuber Mr Bruff!) and a D for Maths. A bit of a shame as Chris was one of the best maths teachers I've ever had and with the extra time I was due I could have had a much better result.

To top all this off about 2 weeks after I had finished my course I got a phone call asking why I dropped out of the course in the 3rd year as they had no record of my attendance, despite furnishing me with a college pass after enrollment and me logging on throughout the year to do my work.

They need to get rid of GCSE resits for mature students as it was ultimately a waste of time.
