Staffing Plus Review

Was promised a position with a Mental Health Facility, interviewed at the site and was hired. A week passed and I never heard from
Staffing Plus again and when I did, it was because I contacted them. The recruiter gave me a cock and bull story about why he hadn't been returning my calls, and then tried to sell me a lie about another start date being months away. I was very angry because I turned down a travel contract for them and the recruiter was aware of that. Not forth coming!!!!!!

They don't like to pay their employees. I had to write several emails to basically every person in HR about my check. I spoke to my recruiter over the phone and he promised he'd email a document in a few (((minutes))) for me to sign stating the hours I worked so I can get paid the following week. That email never came of course and he continued to ignore every email I sent and every call after that for WEEKS.... I always got the run around until I wrote my resignation letter with a threat of going to court for my funds... then I received HALF of my paycheck the following week. I was more than patient with them. They definitely lost a good employee. Good Riddance

Had a great experience here! I had to get fingerprinting done for my job and scheduled an appointment about a month out.

When I walked in, the young man sitting at the front desk was very kind and efficient with getting my paperwork taken care of. Friendly person!

The woman I worked with to get my fingerprinting done with was awesome! Can t say enough nice things. She was so kind and patient! Through and very pleasant! Made the visit enjoyable and not stressful at all!

I highly recommend coming to this agency! Make sure you familiarize yourself with their fingerprinting hours - they re very specific.

I have really enjoyed working with Colleen Smith this past year. She is always friendly, straightforward and reliable. Can t ask for more!!

Never got more than 1 shift a week...did have another job. Texted shifts at last minute. Recruiters were lousy....

I came in for finger printing. The women who's sit at the front desk is extremely rude. She made me and other customers feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, she kept yelling my info in front of others. I had to ask her to talk to me as she would want to be treated. Fyi... I wasn't the only one on this day. Also the front desk clerk kept saying "it's Monday boy it's Monday". I hope she have more/better customer service skills on the rest of the week! I hope management sees this... She need more training

I took this job because at the time I needed the money. My recruiter was Carl Bunch. The position I was hired for I never even worked in. I was told about a week after I was hired that I needed a few months of experience. I was even told my pay was going to be higher than it was. Too make a long story short. Carl will lie to you and give you false promises. If I didn't need the job at the time I would have called him out about it and quit. If you need the money, work for staffing plus. If you don't and have other offers take those other offers and don't waste your time with staffing plus.

Hands down one of the absolute worst staffing agencies!! I would encourage anyone interested in working with Staffing Plus to check out the reviews.
If you are looking for terrible/rude customer service from the receptionist/admins, not being paid for MONTHS and continually being lied to about when your check is coming, COMPLETE lack of professionalism, well you ve found the perfect place :).
I m not sure how this place hasn t been shut down from all the illegal practices taking place but I would encourage you to keep looking!

Wish I could give no stars but I have to give at least one. They don t seem about anyone but there selves. Meaning their direct support employees nor the clients it seems as if they are just for the money. If you go to work for one shift be prepared to be there for at least another shift or two. Shifts are from 8-10 hours so be prepared to work a 24 hour shift. If you have a family this is not the job for you. Worst job I EVER had!!!!!

The receptionist is ignorant, childish, petty, unprofessional and offensive. Although the remaining staff are polite and professional, the receptionist is bad enough to ruin the experience. Management needs to realize that she is the face of their company and she is single handedly ruining their reputation. I'm sure most of these 1 stars are a direct result of her. I will never return.

I worked here for years. Just get your money and go get a permanent position somewhere.

I have never had to write such a bad review before but I really just had to share my experience because this has been so eye opening for me. I hope other people don't have to experience this.

CON: My experience with this company has been EXTREMELY unpleasant. Hiring process is a joke, they act like they just want bodies at location and don t care to get the details.

The assistant recruiters don t seem to know what information they need to get for new hires and the process takes months for them to complete. They contradict themselves with what documentation is needed. First it was 48 college credits, then after hired a few months later it was bachelors degree, then a week later high school diploma...They wait months to even check your references but never tell you what type of references they want other then professional. Then they just keep asking for different references which makes no sense. You have to keep going back and forth with them multiple times which is a huge time suck. Why not just tell me up front everything that you need so I can quickly and EFFICIENTLY provide it.

Their online training programs are defective and getting support to resolve issues for it is a pain. Literately took the same training 5 times before it registered complete.

The assistant recruiters also don t seem to actually want to be helpful and even threatened to withhold paycheck because they waited 3-4 months to ask for some additional documentation that wasn t required initially or even mentioned it was required when hired and expected to receive it the next day.

I m assuming the first assistant recruiter I dealt with is no longer at the company (I hope, they just stopped communicating so who knows). They requested to me to e-mail personal CONFIDENTIAL information to her insecurity over e-mail. Which for anyone who doesn t know is a HUGE red flag security risk in the age of computers. UNACCEPTABLE.

They also asked me to send my OFFICIAL (not a copy or official copy) of my degree to them by mail and they would "just mail it back after" mind you they lost information that was sent in e-mails. This seemed like an absurd request even if they had not lost my other information. I was also in the office a week after I was hired and I wasn't told to bring it at that time or even indicated that it was needed so this leaves me even more perplexed.

The second assistant recruiter that I had to deal with was rude and highly unprofessional. Kept telling me that they had already asked for things which they didn t and that it was my fault. I literately had e-mail copies of every conversation proving they were full of it.

I even called and asked to be directed to a manager since it didn t make sense why the hiring process was being drug out for more then 6 months. They proceeded to give me the assistant recruiter who I was having issues with. WTH?

I think this company needs an overhaul from management and some serious professional trainings and improvements around positive corporate culture for their recruiters as well as some defined protocols for assistant recruiters to follow so that they are being through and upfront. Don t just make up something because you don t know the answer. Toxic behavior is contagious so it will only get worse until someone stands up against it.

Finally, The fact that this company can place people in HR positions at other locations is terrifying.

They Pay You Low While The Risk Is High & Complain When You Ask For A Raise. I Wish I Can Give This 0 Stars. If You Ignore This Post & Still Decide To Work There , Please Make Sure Your Recruiter Isn't Named Carl Bunch.

Recruiters at this Staffing Agency consistently lie and are disrespectful and RUDE. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL at all times. In particular Bryan Kroll and Colleen Smith are something else. They will never have your back even in emergency situations.Bryan has already put a starting rate of pay in writing and
decreased it .50 an hour a week after I started the assignment. He got away with it. What is even more frustrating ; upper management will support their shady behavior and lies.
Lastly, "Aida" their receptionist is a classless,rude, individual that needs to be reminded that without the contractors calling in she wouldn't have a job.She forever lies for the recruiters as well.She needs to get over her attitude and be a little more pleasant.
In closing, any negative
reviews that you read about this Company are absolutely and honestly TRUE.
I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO WAIST YOUR TIME HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING DISRESPECTED & UNAPPRECIATED.....

Horrible agency. if i go into details, i'll write a novel. long story short DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I honestly miss working at Elwyn but i couldn't hang on any longer with such unprofessional company.
