Coldwell Banker-Kennon Parker Duncan and Key Realtors Review

So far my experience with my realtor has been good.

Our experience with this company has been a big HEADACHE. If there was a quality option lower than "Poor-Fair", I would select that option. We are currently in the process of trying to move into our rental property and have found countless problems that should have been fixed before we signed the lease. The repairs range from a broken mailbox, dirty and stained carpets, a deadbolt that does not work for all three keys that we were given, the shed door lock did not work for any of the keys, a broken shower head stopper, and to top it all off A GAS LEAK, which is a huge danger and is keeping us from moving into the home. They obviously did not inspect the home and to have someone come to the house to fix the problems is a hassle because you have to go through three middle men.

The unprofessional girl (not woman) that worked with us was Amy. She was uninformative, unprofessional, unorganized, and basically useless to give requests to. Her answer for everything was a usual "I don't know."....then why are you working at a realtor agency? Amy told us the whole house was electric and in the computer system at the agency it specifically says the house is all electric. When we went to turn the heat on we discovered it is a gas system. When we called Amy to ask why we were not informed of this big detail in the home her response was "Oh, you didn't ask." A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL response. As a client we should be informed of all details in the home without having to "ask". Every time we called her she took an unreasonably amount of time to get back with us and gave no communication of when she would tell the next middle man want needed to be repaired and when someone would be able to come the house to help us. She clearly does not know what her job description entails and would either not give our requests to the maintenance man or did so after we kept calling multiple times.

The time it takes to get something done through this company is ridiculous and the people working there are no help at all and obviously just "Do not know" what they are doing. I would much rather go directly to the landlord than go through five different people that need to contact her. If we can not contact the home owner directly then the only resort are the employees of this company who seem very clueless. We have tried to not be hostile and rude but at this point we are just fed up with the constant problems we have run into.

Worst experience of my life I would not recommend this company to anyone! We were lied to several times throughout the purchasing process. We were forced to use their attorney for closing (even though we paid all of closing) use their home inspector (which missed a major gas leak) and sold us a garbage warranty! Stay far far away!

Highly recommend Tyler and Linda they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our first time purchasing a home!!

When you are looking to buy or sell your home or investment property Tyler Ward is the Realtor you want looking out for you and your family! He does what he says and will have your best interest heart! I highly recommend him!

We recently relocated to Columbus from the Dallas, TX area and our relocation company assigned Linda Campbell to work with us. Linda reached out to us immediately, re-arranged her schedule to match ours (more than once) and always had houses that matched our preferences ready to show us. Linda's personality, her knowledge of Columbus in general, and the Columbus real estate market specifically, made it a very pleasant experience. I'll definitely work with Linda again!

Recently relocated for work but was unable to visit the property prior to signing the lease. Christine Porter was very understanding of my situation and worked with me to find a viable resolution. Savannah, the receptionist/realtor-to-be was very friendly and helpful as well.

Jay Cooper! Jay Cooper! Jay Cooper! He's tops! Incredible experience with Jay and Coldwell Banker. Interestingly, the agent from the town we moved from was with Coldwell Banker too. We had a great experience there too! There's something to this great company. But companies aren't what they are without their people. Jay Cooper was outstanding in every way.

Garrett and Delaney Groce were wonderful to us! They were always willing to answer questions and gave feedback when we asked. My husband and I looked at hundreds of houses online, 50 or so in person, and finally decided on a wonderful home in Columbus that we have enjoyed for 3 months now. They never pressured us to buy and always reassured us that we would find the perfect home and that settling was not an option. We appreciate the Groce's hard work in helping us to find the right home.

It's not that I hated it, it's just they tell you what you already know and won't help you if you aren't approved on their standard. Some of them are really nice but some aren't.

Our realtor really had no time to sell our daughter's home. We had to continually contact her, she had one open house at the very end of the process, and was out of town when the final contract was signed. She didn't fight for us, and we ended up taking over $7000 to the closing table, to sell the house!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a rental management company. Staff is abrasive and lack even the basic knowledge to do their job. Issues constantly go unaddressed and simple requests for information require multiple calls to get resolved. Absolutely unfriendly when it comes to working with military families and their particular requirements. If you come down on orders short notice, expect to be paying rent anyways for periods of time when you are not occupying the residence. This soulless, money-grubbing, slum-lord, robber baron of a company will wring every last penny it can from you, regardless of how much effort you put into doing right by them. It is my fondest hope that this despicable organization goes out of business as soon as possible.

Ms. Trecia Gemes was outstanding in her work for us. WE recommend any body to use her for your real estate work. She is really outstanding.

First time buying a house and always heard the horror stories with realtors being pushy and trying to get you into the first thing available but then we met Lee Starling and was quickly relieved to find not all are that way. He was great and easy to work with helped us take our time to find a place to call our home because he knows this is a very important and long term decision.

Working with Lynn Ezell was fantastic! My husband and I spotted a home in Midland, GA and the three of us kept our eyes on this house for more than a year just waiting for the right time to make a move on it. She provided needed education on the home buying process, and what things we needed to follow-up on after closing. If you could not reach Lynn right then, she would contact you within 24 hrs. We worked so closely with Lynn, without going under contract with her until time to buy. WE TRUSTED LYNN., AND DID NOT WANT TO WORK WITH ANYONE BUT HER. I WOULD RECOMMEND LYNN TO ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A HOME WITHOUT HESITATION.

In my experience the guy I worked with was very unprofessional. I m working on opening my own business and he didn t seem to care. He never reached out to me about any locations I showed him, never called me back to help me out, and went to the rental property to see it without even telling me. I was told he would set up a time to view locations and it s been months and I still haven t heard back. Thankfully I found a property on my own without his help. Very disappointed with the service and do not recommend at all.

I will highly recommend Ken Worthington. he not only help my husband and I purchase our 1st home 2 years ago, but he also help my father in law purchase his 1st home. He kept us updated on everything. And help us find just what we was looking for.

As a tenant in an $1800 home, we have been riddled with problems since the day we moved in from an out of state move and the house was FILTHY and then had to be cleaned around 19,000 pounds of our household goods. We've gone without hot water (with a newborn) for 10 days when they were jerking around with an inground gas tank repair. They have screwed up every single repair request I have ever made. EVERY single one. Most recently they actually said it was okay that they were going to allow the homeowner's house to continue to flood for DAYS while a repair request was processed over the holiday weekend despite the fact that gallons and gallons of water were flooding (not leaking) the floor and ruining carpet and the pad underneath and possibly our personal belongings. Let alone caring if we had to go days without water if we figured out ourselves how to shut the water off because THEY REFUSED REPEATEDLY to send someone out to look at it.

Lazy......in all aspects of the job that is suppose to be done, that pretty much sums it up......heck didn't even want to give a star but had to.

I've had the best experience with Jim Blalock. He was always available. Jim shows true diligence and profession through the whole process. Plus he is a people friendly person to include his office.

Because of the hospitality and care to customers. Waffle House allows customers to feel at home while they eat good cooking.

Had a horrible experience with an agent named Haley Lyman. She was scheduled to meet me for an appt. and she simply never showed up and also never called. This agent wasted my time and was disrespectful of anyone other than herself. When I finally did speak with her she defended her actions and never once apologized. STEER CLEAR at all costs; there are better agencies in Colombus.

Ms. Annehanna Merritt is currently our real estate agent and she is doing a very good job. Shw made sure we are comfortable with price and location. Answered all of our questions and called us after every step of coming closer to closing on our first house. All of the staff In the office is super nice. They even remember you by name (sometimes) :)

Absolutely in love with our dream house because of Mrs. Alex Roper. She knew exactly our style and needs and found us homes that fit our budget and Family. We found our forever home because of her and Alex worked tirelessly to make it a reality. She routinely calls us just to see how we are doing. She is a friend to our Family. Thanks Alex.

CHOOSE ANOTHER BROKERAGE! As a first time home buyer and after dealing with realtors and a broker from this company, I hope I never have to use another real estate agent for ANYTHING another day of my life! Not even to turn a key! The broker didnt keep his word after speaking to my husband about one of his realtors and we all know that it flows from the top down. It was the worst experience of my life by far and it was so traumatizing that I dont even want to type it all out because I will end up reliving it in my mind. Take your business elsewhere.

The absolute worst service. Do yourself a favor and call them. Once you get a taste of their customer service, you will see what dealing with them is like. Tell them that they manage your property and you need to speak to someone. Guarentee they will "take down your information" and someone will call you back. You will never get through to a person and they usually don't call back for days or at all. We tried to for listing our house to sell. We went through 3 of their realtors. Every issue you could imagine from not putting our photos on the internet for weeks,terrible photos with vehicles and body parts in the photos, and not returning a call from another realtor who was trying to make an offer. (Costing us a sale). We used them as property managers when we decided to rent..........They don't care at all about your rental property because they don't make that much money each month. It is impossible to get somebody on the phone when there is an issue; the tenants would call them several times about a repair needing to be done and finally call us direct. They don't process the rent checks until 7-10 days after the renter drops it off, and they don't send out the tax paperwork until Feb or March. They are the rudest people you will ever deal with and I can't believe they are still in business. I recommend Keller Williams or HH property Management. I've lived here for 16 years and moved 6 times. Trust me, I've dealth with a lot of crap.

Trecia Gemes is a caring and flexible representative when it came to searching for and buying our house. She genuinely cared about us, and our needs and wishes. She was also flexible as we sometimes "altered course" during our search. Trecia also did an exceptional job in the negotiating process. We have already referred two people to Trecia and highly recommend her if you are looking to sell or purchase a home.

Bobbie and Don Dakin (note - I'm not related to the Dakin's - even though are names are very similar) were the perfect team to handle our real-estate needs. A friend of ours referred us to the Dakin's and we were not disappointed. While we were shopping for a home, we never felt pressured to buy or do anything. Bobbie and Don simply presented themselves as resources to inform our decision. They show us our desired home a few times before we committed to make an offer. Once we committed, Bobbie was constantly updating us with offers, counter-offers, and other potential buyers. After our offer was accepted, Bobbie guided us through all of the nuances in buying a home - inspections, services, loan options, neighbors - you name it, Bobbie and Don anticipated our questions and had ready answers - always on-target and biased towards making our purchase go smoothly.

If/when i sell my home, my first call will be to Bobbie and Don. If you're in the market to buy or sell, you should call them as well.

Rolanda Rogers - if you want someone who understands and will look for EXACTLY what you want, and has the patience and dedication of a saint, she is the Realtor you want and need! She was on top of what we wanted, she put up with at least a hundred emails and texts from us, she patiently explained everything we asked and willing to meet us at any place we wanted to see with no complaints. She is adorably fun to talk to, she is a ball of energy and she wants you to be happy! She doesn t disappear after a sale, either. She found us a wonderful mortgage broker when we hit a snafu that was able to get us in our dream house when ours couldn t (or wouldn t?). Good quality is not enough of a description for her, GREAT quality is more appropriate. We adore her and although we got our house, if we EVER consider purchasing again, she will be the one we call in a heartbeat and without a doubt. We did a VA loan. Wonderful, wonderful realtor! So happy we got her and you will too!
