the rooms are old in bad condition. There are roaches. You don't sleep soundly thinking that one of those will get on you.

It's just a water park to spend the day

The resort has a bunch of activities to do for kids and the staff was very friendly!! The water park closes at 5 unless it's summer hours. The resort has plenty of potential just a Lil run down.

Half the water park is closed down. Pool closed down 15 minutes into our day.
Mostly wild kids under 8. Everyone else looks like they would rather be else where.

The entire MOTEL should be shut down immediately.

Staff is not trained. Front desk is no help. Don't expect anyone to actually work here. I'm sure our children our in constant danger being here. Broken glass in parking lot. (DO NOT WALK BAREFOOT AT THIS RESORT!)
Called several "managers / supervisors" and no answer or return calls after leaving messages. Im sure they ignore all complaints.

Hotel is actually a outdated motel and you can hear people all day and night outside. So loud don't expect to sleep before 10pm or past 9am.

Sounds like luggage being rolled on a brick street most of your stay.

This was a special day for my daughters Birthday. We drove 2 hours out of our way to find out we should have never came!

Water park is filthy, water it cloudy and trash is every where. Note to the Coco Key staff: If you see trash on the ground workers shouldnt continously walk by ignoring it.

Was at the park from 2 til 4 suffering in disgust. Not once did a worker clean up, empty trash cans or pick up a fallen sign that was in the main walk area where I watch people almost trip for hours.

Told the lady you see pictured behind the 4th full trash can about the trash and her exact words in a rude tone were " thank you for bringing that to my attention". An hour later the trash is now all over the water park and in the pools. Great place to get hurt or catch something.
Besides being shut down by the city they should be sending me a full refund.

The water park was a great addition for the kids as well as the game room

A lot of extra fees!!!!!!! They add a resort fee which should be included in the price not a surprise when you get there. Plus they make you pay for parking, however never giving a parking pass. The room was clean our TV didn't work the best and shower water was slow to drain.

I didn't stay on the place but I visited the water park multiple times for my daughter. It s so much fun for the family, specially kids under 7.

I literally just got in the room. It is horrible. It stinks, carpets are old and dirty looking. One tiny little blanket that looks worse than a hospital blanket and they don t have anymore blankets but offered to bring up sheets. It s gross. I actually have my children sleeping with with there clothes and jackets in. If it wasn t for the fact that I prepaid I would leave now.

Great water park. Staff very friendly. Kids had a blast

Disappointed! Booked this place through work (ticketsatwork) & the pictures were great, the water park looked clean and fun so I picked it because of the Waterpark & for being close to everything on International Dr. Boy, was I wrong...it was nothing like the pictures. It was dirty and the Waterpark was not like the pictures at all. My 12 year old son didn't even want to get in and didn't. The front office was rude and when we called the manager to get our room & bathroom cleaned, she was so unprofessional that she spoke bad about her cleaning crew and ensured us that it would get cleaned but even when they came to clean it wasn't really clean at all. The only good thing was that it was of walking distance from International Dr. & that is the only reason I gave it a 1 star. I will certainly never stay here again!

Hotel is too expensive for the quality of the rooms and overall the entire place. It was the first time I stayed there and surely the last one. Rooms were filthy, bathroom was not cleaned including the toilet seat, there was a cockroach on the bed. The hotel charges for the fact it has a water park but definitely for the nightly price i paid i could have stayed in a better place.

Room was great. Not a 5 star but a high 3-low 4 star (for parents) 5 star for kids! With multiple water features and the tiki bar and restaurants and arcade and LOCATION it was wonderful! At NO TIME did ever saw any staff on their CELL PHONE! EVERYONE WAS WONDERFUL. Cons: waterpark closes at 7pm. Bummer but there is another pool that stays open till 10! But if you need pizza just outside cross the street and Cici pizza right there. Great price great location. Oh... walls are thin.... so... (just letting you know).. overall...with the $15 a day family charge for waterpark fee and a $50 security depoist.. the price was great. It took us 7 mind to drive to seaworthy and 17 mind to Disney world. Universal was right around the corner! Traffic is bad. The location was perfect and will stay here again! (For the kids) but if I can stay at a place where I can eat a great breakfast.. eggs, saugage, bacon, pancakes, waffels, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit, danishes, toast, muffins, grits, all of your drinks plus tees coffees juices: just for breakfast! ($12-15) it's worth it! Lower price for kids I think $7. Hands down I give it a 4 out of a 5. Clean, affordavle, amenities were all superb! Kiddo had the time of his life!

After a shakey start all ok rooms need a lick of paint and carpets are dirty but everything you need here. Breakfast is good and the pools look fab (trying them later)

This is an amazing family oriented resort. It is not the kind of place you stay at on a business trip. On the other hand, if you have a bunch of kids on vacation, you really couldnt do better. Room price runs about $100, which is great for International Drive. This hotel.is best known for their pool and water park, which is incredible for a hotel. The kids love it, and even want to spend a day or two on vacation just hanging around the hotel, which saves a lot of money on vacation. There are lots of great things to do around the I Drive area, and lots of interesting restaurants.

Large waterslides closed they dont tell you this when you book!

They agreed to call me for 2 weeks because they charged me double the payment of the lodging to my card Every day I call and I can't find a way to answer the Phone and when they answer they tell me they are going to call me from the accounting office and it is lie never call me ... this happened on January 1

I booked for my sons birthday lord tbis place was horrible rooms stinks and rotten and water park was looking like it was discolored it was terrible. Air was broken in one of rooms they changed us to the more rolms were changed the worst it got

Spent the day at the Coco Key water park. The kids had fun. There are a few slides and a kiddie area. Place was very busy overall it was fun time. The motel looked like an older property.

The resort is mediocre. It's like an old holiday inn with a water park. Nothing real special about it. The weather did not cooperate and the water park seemed closed more often than it was open.

Rooms were ok, but be warned. Was told one price when they ran my card, then was charged an aditadditi $222 that they did not mention.

Double and triple check what they tell you.

The location of the hotel is good, but there are plenty of better options. The room smelled musty and the bathroom reeked of urine. We asked for a different room, but it smelled worse. They don't have fitted sheets for the beds, just flat sheets laid on the mattress (which is also very disgusting). The grounds are well kept and there are 2 designated smoking areas but no one adhered to it. If you have questions, no one around the resort seems willing to stop and help. The water park was very underwhelming. The pictures made it seem like there's plenty for a toddler to do but half of the water features weren't working. The water was over chlorinated. It was cloudy and made our skin feel absolutely disgusting. We will never stay at this "resort" again.

Dirty and smells terrible! Please beware the photos on line do not represent the actual place. The hotel smells horrible the carpet in the hallway is old and disgusting. Very overpriced I will never stay here again! Our sheets were disgusting they were never changed from the previous guest! The water park was not fully functional 3 of the big huge slides were closed for 2 weeks this is spring break. Poor management decision! Overall I should have left the very second I walked into the room!

The hotel didn t have a crib to give for my daughter she fell off the bed one night and the rest of the stay she slept with us in our bed. You will be hearing from me soon!

Tourist trap crap hole. Do not try to check in before 4:00 pm. Especially if you get off disney cruise at 8:00 am. Property is dated and worn down. Not enough people to clean rooms quickly enough. Water park is ok, but sometimes you just want into your room. Also previous reviews mentioned bed bugs. So going to be on the lookout for them if i ever get yo my room. Definitely will never ever be back. Photos online are old and probably from 10 years ago. They do not represent what this crap hole looks like now days. Thanks. 2-17-17.

Amazing little family friendly resort with a water park. No way not to have fun

Decent rooms, although the fold out sofa bed was harder than the floor, ouch! Breakfast and other foods and drinks are a little pricey, but very nice people and we had a pretty good time. Extra thanks to first aid for helping when my baby fell and scraped up his back. Very nice staff all around.

It was a Great time my husband was on crutches at the time and the staff was understanding and he was able to go in water area even through he couldnt be in water he still was able to be with his family and have fun in the water area.

The original room they put us in was not like the online photos. The couch & carpet was filthy with a lot of visible stains. We were moved to a new room, with hardwood floors, poolside. From there everything else was good.

For the price not worth it unless your a child. Other than that it sucks.

The rooms had a really bad,the pool water was like slime and the hot tub was not that good

My experience with staying at the Coco Key Resort was very disappointing! First, when I checked in, I was hit with a whopping $144 in hidden fees for my stay, even though no such thing was stated under my booking. This fee would have been even higher if I had a vehicle for them to charge me for using their lot. As it was, I was being charged to use their pool, even though I told them I had zero interest in swimming. I was strictly there for Universal Studios. I was told another portion of the fee was because of the "free" shuttle to Universal, which was within walking distance anyways. Their shuttle service was very selective with pick up and drop off times. Nothing ran during the daytime, so you're stuck if you wanted to leave the park mid-day. The door to my motel room only latched when slammed shut. If not slammed, it could still be opened from passers-by. The tv wouldn't work upon my arrival, so I had to wait 2 hours for maintenance to come and fix it. I was originally told by the front desk that someone would be over to my room in "six minutes". Two hours is quite a difference from six minutes! When the maintenance man was leaving, he told me to "lock your door", giving you an idea of how sketchy the location was. The blinds were warped, making it easy for prying eyes to look inside my room. Spots in the shower appeared dirty and moldy. My room connected to TWO other rooms- one shared a door from the main room; the other connected from the bathroom! The walls and doors were so thin that I could hear the other guests far too easily. In fact, every morning I was there, I could hear the alarm go off from a neighbor's cell phone. It was so loud, the first morning, I thought it was my own alarm going off! If I understood spanish, I could comprehend the entire conversation from the people staying on the other side of my bathroom. You hear everything through the walls and doors!
On the second day, after being at the park all day, I returned to my room to find the key wouldn't work. I had to pay another trip to the front desk and wait for the maintenance man to escort me to my room to get it working. The sink made loud, interrupting draining noises throughout the day and night, waking me up on more than one occasion. On the second night I was there, I was woken up by loud blaring music during the night. I could literally feel the vibration while in bed. I was going to speak to the front desk (again), but there were three men congregated outside my door with their car headlights shining right into my room. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my room with them outside my door. I spoke to the front desk the following day. The neighborhood was sketchy with a lot of shady-looking and acting characters around. I didn't feel safe here and regret ever making reservations for Coco Key! There are numerous better options available for people to stay at. I absolutely do NOT recommend staying here!

Really nice place for family but a little stinking rooms

Very family oriented. Easy to do the pools and water slides . People are extremely nice and helpful. Relaxed enviroment. Good times.

Room was decent. Waterpark was Fun! 4star because we bought a $100 arcade card when we checked in just to get there and find out what seemed like half the games were out of order. Very disappointing!

Water Resort Park was fun, staff was great, room not so good

This waa by far the worse hoday i have ever stayed in the sink and toliet was stopped up for the 3 days of our stay, there was police at the hotel the first night to break up an argument this hotel was like living in the hood. Not mention the staff are unprofessional Mary don't know how to treat customers instead of putting the $50 hold on my account it was taking as a debt they did not refund my money as told it would take 3-5 days after talking to several managers i was told it would take 30 days i than had to call my bank and make a claim with my bank my first time visting florida and i had all these problems never again if i could give 0 stars i would have DONT STAY HERE ITS THE WORST

Room: Musty smell walking in, white stains on the bed cover (don't care to know what from), black mold in the shower, broken towel hooks, splatter stain on the back of the bathroom door, stains on chairs.

"Water Park": Don't let it mislead you. There's limited seating... It gave me the heebie jeebies. It was really dirty. There are limited water slides, and in your mind you feel like it's going to be relaxing as a parent hanging poolside having a cocktail- but the bar is all the way towards the entrance. When you're at the top of the waterslide you're looking at a highway... It was not as advertised. Pool water was so nasty.

Pro's: After being there less than an hour we checked out and got all our money back. Good customer service. That's the only pro unfortunately.

I was worried because of some mixed reviews, but i had a great time, and the staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were kept clearn daily. It is an older hotel but worth the price. My Grandkids had a blast at their inside water park.

Good place to stay. It says $64 for double queen bed but for 4 night stay it costed me $469. Universal shuttle comes there and free if you buy tickets. Also there is a universal studio counter to buy tickets and separate taxi counter. There is a indoor small water park inside this place which is open few days during week. Atleast I can say it is open thursday and friday and costs 14 dollars per day. Well maintained with swiming pool free, refrigerator, AC, iron coffee machine, TV with many kids channels, free wifi, laundry and gym onsite, and very near to lot of restaurants fast food etc. Comfee and very helpful courteous staff.

My family and I are in a room right now and it is terrible!! The room stinks there is a very large cockroach in here. The front desk doesn t have any big spray and judging from the reviews my husband DIDN T read before he booked they KNOW they have a bug problem. The hallway smells like urine and so does the carpet in the room. I will be calling the health department considering they serve food.

Great hotel for families with young kids. Water park, friendly staff and competitive prices make it the go-to spot in Orlando.

My children played until they were tired! The food was good and the water attractions were awesome. I ordered a drink and watched my boys have a blast.

This resort was so much fun! We enjoyed it immensely! Staff were great and tons to do!! We didn't even have to leave!

I took my kids on Mother's day weekend and it was not that busy! We had fun! Slides and pools were nice and clean. Rooms were good. We will be back

Got moved to 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms had bugs

Unfortunately we didn t get the opportunity to stay. I contacted the hotel multiple times to try and book a birthday party for my daughter. This is where she wanted to stay and have a birthday party. I left messages for the event coordinator, I spoke to reservations, I even left messages for the manager when my other attempts to reach someone failed. Additionally, I sent a party request through the website. Never, did anyone return my messages, emails, or calls. After reading the reviews, I m glad it didn t work out. However still appalled at the lack of customer service. We are locals and would have frequented the hotel and water park if it had been a nice experience. With customer service like this, there won t be any customers left.

We stayed 2 nights here. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly!! The waterpark was fantastic and the lifeguards were very attentive. We even witnessed a couple of drills and the lifeguards responded very quickly. We are only giving 3 stars because the food was terrible and we needed curtains over the windows in the room to block the lights from the waterpark (they stay on all night and the light comes thru the blinds). Also, the A/C unit was very loud.

Very nice new hotel! Great amenities for the price; beautiful pool area and outdoor bar. Rooms are spacious and clean.

This hotel was a big old bummer. We were supposed to have a week stay and we stayed for 2 days instead we went to disney resort. 1st problem was online my mom got a discount online when we got to the hotel they charged an extra 200$.

There is no option for 0 stars. I brought my Daughter here on vacation and nowhere did it say that the water resort was closed..... How is the water resort portion of a water park closed. Otherwise this place is great if you wanted to sit in overpriced Room with no resort......... arcade that's advertised be forewarned, it's 1 of those machines where you put a dollar in with the arm to grab a 50 cent stuffed animal. I'll never stay here again and I will share this to every outlet that I can find. Edit: The leaky faucets in the bath tub kept me up all night. PM for video. None of us were happy. Even our 2 neighbouring room people that we met were disgusted.

Excellent hotel for children and adults. Guaranteed fun.

No need to go to aquatica if you have small kids this place is just enough. Save your money for Disneyland

Roach motel. I killed at least 5 roaches in my drawers in the bathroom all over the room. When I went to the front desk to tell them about it they did not seem surprised. Also computers were down for my name to be put in a list to wait for the shuttle to go to the parks. And for the water area only one side is open at a time. The slides with the tubes or the sprinkler section. They shut the water off one so the other one will run I guess. It was a horrible stay. I didn t stay an additional night, we switched hotels. Would never recommend any one to this filthy hotel.

Nice place for the kids to play, the arcade was very hot like they didn't run the air in there, the rooms were ok nothing over the top.

Booked this place as a last min getaway. It didnt start off too good when I went to check in after already paying online, only to find out there was another $25 to pay that I was not aware of. And when I questioned the lady she was super rude about it like it was no big deal that there were additional fees to fork out. Water park was extremely fun and there were many different sections of it which was awesome- however they closed at 5 p m. Check in isnt until later in the afternoon so we only got 2 hours on it, really? On a Saturday? After you made me pay extra for it and told me it was open until 10? Very deceiving. The rooms were nice however all the beds had were a sheet....no blanket or comforter? Theres so much competition in Orlando. Was not impressed and will be finding somewhere else to stay next time.

Stay away if you are expecting a hotel there is no house keeping one must ask for towels soap toilet. paper really guys ask for tp jokes on you I let lose in the pool and left a ducen the orange and blue slide good luck

Worst experience every stayed there 4 nights with my 3 children . Water park was closed. Staff was rude as heck . House keeping arrived when they wanted too around 4-5pm . They did t clean the room good . First night I arrived late young lady was getting off work she rushed my check in charged my card different kinds of numbers. Just was a mess . I called guess service to ask for a blanket the never showed up at all . The most ghetto place. I would never go back .

Very nice hotel appearance, Make sure you request water park hours because it was always closed when we tried to use it. We purposely left universal studios early to make use of the water park and found it closed at 2:30 in the afternoon for a photo shoot..... Found excessive amount of very small bugs in the washroom in our room. WIFI is free ONLY for the first 24 hours! When any of our concerns were brought up at the desk, no offer for resolve was made. We left a day early so disappointed for our kids! Coco Key would absolutely not refund our last night so paid to stay at a different hotel anyway! Looks very good on the surface but I would definitely never stay at this resort again! Transportation to Universal Studios was only until noon. Go stay at Cabana Bay free transportation to Universal studios, customer service was top notch and way more bang for your buck!

I brought a group of kids here on a field trip. Big indoor/outdoor area of slides and fountains, and an even larger slide and pools on the outside portion. The kids had a lot of fun.

Wasn't the cleanest Hotel. Was annoyed with the fact that I had to pay for the water park when I didn't use the waterpark once I feel like they should have to maybe give out bracelets to the people that are going to be in the water Park area so that way they know who's paid and who hasn't rather than charging somebody a fee to use the waterpark when they have no interest in using it.

The warter park was ok but the Rooms and staff was horrible as the days past mold stared too grow all over and front desk didn't want too fix the problem at all

I was very worried about staying here after reading reviews but our 3 day stay ended being ok. I contacted the hotel ahead of time to ensure I would be in a room with working air conditioning. My room was fairly clean and cool when we arrived which was nice. The room was fine for us. The shower had some cracks in the granite that were filled but should probably just be replaced but it worked fine. We ran into some issues with the front desk staff not accepting my amazon prime now order due to the room being in my husbands name and the order being in mine (I had both names on the order). I spoke with customer service and was ensured that they would accept the order when amazon returned the next day, the order was still turned away but I was able to catch them in the parking lot.

The waterpark was ok. I did not bring a lifejacket for my infant as we were flying in and typically waterparks provide them. When we inquired about a life jacket we were pointed towards a rack that had about 6 large life jackets. When we asked about an infant jacket we were told, that is all the have. Of course, we were fine because I dont let him out of my sight, but found the lack of life jackets a little strange.

There was a strong order of marijuana coming from the room nextdoor. We did let the front desk know, but it continued.

Overall our stay was fine. Customer service needs some improvement. Encounters with staff were not friendly or helpful. Overall they just seemed annoyed to be working.

This was one of the most disappointing vacations I have ever taken my family on. From the time that we arrived at the resort we felt like they we re just trying to get any kind of money out of us they could. They charge $150 for the night and that is supposed to include the outdoor water park as well. When we arrived there we weren t told until after we checked in that the outside water rides weren t working it wouldn t be working the entire weekend. But we were guarantee that we would get our fees back which we only want up getting half back for which was only $17. And then we were told that we would get a free stay dueTo the inconvenience but come to find out you only get four passes for the waterpark If it is working that day. We also had an issue with our neighbors because we had adjoining doors they were throwing their keys at the door and had a screaming baby at 11 o clock. We called down to the front desk 3 to 4 times, security came down there didn t say anything to themAnd we basically had to turn up the TV loud enough to where we couldn t hear them. We found Band-Aids in the pools and a couple kids that were staying there seemed to be living in the hot tub. They had squirt guns and goggles like it was their own sort of personal pool. A hot tub is for adults not for children. They are renovating there.... their renovations must be being done with child labor because my 10 year old could have painted the room better than they did. We called the try to get some type of refund for this ridiculous vacation but all they wanted to give us were free passes to their broken water park!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If you want to take your kids somewhere fun, go closer to Disney at a hotel there!!!!

The park was okay but the rides weren't all open due to them being understaffed. When the high schoolers came in then all rides were open for 2 two hours than they closed it again for break. So kids went on the same two rides over and over. The staff needs to have better customer service. The staff needs to take their job serious. I young kid fell down the slide and was not put in a tube. The life gaurd said he would be fine but at any other major water park you see the staff help with putting a child in a tube or holding it in place. Nice rooms but next time i will purchase maybe water park tickets and book room somewhere else separate.

You do better staying in a Howard Johnson in Kissimmee. Half the price and same standards.

The water park is heaven for toddlers! Half the park is inside the other is out in the sun. It's the best of both worlds. I would reccomend bringing your own life jacket for toddlers, they only had adult size ones during our visit. The lifeguards are nice and attentive. If you child is under 36" they receive free admission. I have never stayed at this hotel I'm just writing the review for the water park.

This place was ghetto and disgusting. We were desperate due to lack of rooms because of the hurricane. The place is gross, there was no hot water. We felt unsafe due to the other patrons that sat outside of their room. Reminded me of an hourly motel. RUN

We just got back from 3 day stay we had a blast first off Tyson was courteous professional, and very accomadating we stayed in 7215 right next to waterpark with a veiw, the bartenders awsome, the cook at the grill made an awsome burger, housekeeping hard workers. My only issue was the ac cut off only after few minutes so we took turns getting up to turn on but we had so much fun and stayed so buisey we didnt bother complaint abt it. Im recomending to my freinds here in tampa .But Tyson deserves a management position .

Two stars only for the location, staff and the water resort. Other than that they don't deserve any stars especially for old and stinky hotel rooms, small bedrooms and bathrooms, no elevators, too few towels per room and you can notice that they are old and have been used extensively. NO phone service available and what made it worse is that WiFi is very weak throughout the facility. The sheets provided are too light and not enough for small kids.
