The water park was a fun experience for the entire family.

It's amazing I was there three months ago and I'm ready to come back

No towels in the room, smelled of mildew, windows dirty, window cill fill of mold, bathroom disguistingly dirty, ceiling smoke stained. Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Kids enjoyed the waterslide but I suspect the water was taken care of like the accomodations.

"Resort" haha, let me tell you about this place. I've never left a negative review about any place in my 37 years on this planet but I feel it's my duty to warn people about this "resort". At the price point I kinda had an idea what I maybe getting into but the pictures looked nice, and some of the reviews were half way decent. This was a short stay for my daughter, wife and I. Upon arriving at the "resort" I started to get a bad feeling but decided to give it a go anyway. The appeal of this place is supposed to be the water park and it's great location to shopping, food, etc. I will give it the location aspect, some good shopping and food are within walking distance, and the water park for the price is half way decent. What gives it 1 stars in my book is the rooms are absolutely disgusting. Our 1st room had a couch that looked like a white haired dog ran amuck in the joint. No way I was letting my daughter or wife sit on that. The room smelled so musty it was ridiculous. The fridge was warm and not working. (We have a 1 year old so we need a cold fridge for milk). So I call the front desk and ask for another room. The gentleman at the front was very nice, the women next to him not so much. It had the feeling they had heard this too many times before. Checking into room #2 it was the same song and dance, musty smelling with a disgusting couch. It was the 1st place I have every stayed in my 37 years that I was scared to sleep in the bed. The floors appeared to never have been cleaned by evidence of black bottom feet after walking around. When I saw the cleaning crew the next morning all they had were sheets and come small cleaning supplies. No mops or floor cleaning equipment. Look kids may not care about dirty rooms or floors, they probably just want the water park, and for the water park it's a decent place. But I feel as a parent it's my duty to care about the other aspects and if you care too you will steer far far far away from this place.

They had extra charge of the water park even we did not used for it also no privacy in the rooms you can the inside of the rooms from outside need to put some curtains.

Beware and check your bank transcation if you decided to stay at this nightmare hotel will charge you twice the $50 dollars deposit Very disappointed I read the reviews not once but twice I should guide me by my instinct, first at all pool it's very crowded kids and adults don't respect the lines staff don't do anything about it, parents should teach their kids about rules, all place have rules teach them not to break rules please! Second hotel rooms are dirty I will not say any specific things beacause when i said the room it's dirty I mean the whole room you will see lot of yellow things everywhere maybe pee I don't know I'm not a yellow things expert, what I have learn form Florida it's That you get what you pay for!!!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ROACH MOTEL WITH A WATER PARK!!!!! I completely regret staying here and wasting my money. Upon checking in I was given a dirty room. Ok.. let s give this the benefit of the doubt go to front desk and tell them the issue. We are so sorry, housekeeping May have turned it in on mistake . Ok no problem.. I was then reassigned a different room. Go to the room it small, it smells, the furniture is all chipped up. The room didn t have a microwave, so I tried to call the front desk. I pick up the phone hit the front desk button and I keep getting busy signals, I then start to question if the phone works. My family and I get in the car and drive to the front. FOUR I repeat FOUR people are behind the front desk talking. Tell them the issue they were very kind and requested one be sent to my room. Go back to the room, NO KNOCK or anything the runner bust into the room I was so taken back. That s crazy I ve never experienced that before. Fast forward Saturday my family and I go to Disney. Housekeeping cleans I say that very lightly. I got Cicis pizza the box with the old pizza was left in the room, trash in the bathroom, and empty soda cans still on the nightstand. No new soup, no fresh rags or towels. Me writing will still not be enough. Stay elsewhere !

DON'T COME HERE THE SERVICE IS THE WORST AND THE ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING

We've vacationed in Orlando many times, and this time we thought we would try a water park hotel so that our kids have something to do outside of Disney world. Our kids are aged 5, 2, and 1. The water park itself is pretty cool with quite a few slides and activities for toddlers and younger (even though some things such as some of the water guns in the pool were not working properly) and our kids enjoyed the time they spent in the water park to the max. The game room was excellent and we visited that at least three times.The hotel rooms are decent and sufficient for any family to feel comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The downside to our experience is that we were given a room on the second floor and they have no elevator (which was a pain for carrying strollers, etc.). Also, it was a real detractor that they let people not staying at the hotel into the water park. This made the water park rather unruly and crowded. Finally, parking was a nightmare. The hotel consistently got so crowded that we always had to park very far away from our room. I also didn't like the fact that people were allowed to drink alcohol so close to the water park area. We went in July like so many other families that vacation when school is out of session, and the Florida humidity was pretty unbearable. We spent a week there, but if I were to ever go back, I would probably limit it to 3 days max.

Good place, acecal to restaurants but in the cleanliness is pessimistic

Brianna checked us in and she was SO pleasant, great personality. The toddler pool section was great! Our kids had a blast. The lifeguard saved 2 ppl today, he was amazing! The arcade was a lot of fun! We'll definitely be back!

Room smells like dusty. Sheets smell also, i couldnt sleep comfortably becasue the smell made my allergies act up. Water park was fun

Water slides blocked off rooms and hallway smell like musty very old out dated. Police presence!

Only stayed one night, it'd be a good place to take kids but the pool area is over full and the arcade has many issues

I had a great experience Coco Key resort!! From the time we checked in to check out it was a great time. Rooms were nice and clean and conveniently located towards the amenities. Staff were very friendly and they made sure the customers are satisfied. The waterpark and arcade was extremely fun for our kids and us adults too. It really brightened up our stay! Our children even got to go back to use the waterpark even after we checked out on our last day. Special thanks to Andy Holt who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this resort for everyone but especially to families with young kids!

It was a fun place. Louis is the Manger of the water park solid guy . The hotel staff is rude as far the gm that was on shift . Completely cut me off and deflected everything back to Louis which again handled everything like the man he is. They should make that young man their gm.

After making reservations we arrived in our room to find no a.c cigerrete butts in the room we complained. Management acted like no other options were available then finally moved us. The next room was even worse. We packed up and went to the marriot. After the extra fees for the water park and then paying for passes plus hotel this is no deal tbis hotel is disgusting outdated and the employees hate their jobs. I would rather visit the beach then come back to this piss infested hotel

First time staying at a Coco Key water resort. We figured it would have just ok accommodations, nothing fancy and are staying here for the kids to experience the water park. First impressions..staff at front desk was fine at check in. Building seems very dated and pretty run down. Hallways & elevator walls very dirty. Ran into a helpful staff who helped directed us to our building and was really nice. Room isn't the worst but certainly not great. Again, dated and run down but seems ok. Room is very stuffy and we can't run the air at night, the fan is incredibly loud. Sheets are unbearably stiff and itchy, worse we have ever felt in any hotel!! Had to go get our blankets from the car to sleep in. Water park: attentive life guards, a few items don't work but overall it seems pretty clean and the kids are having a blast. So in that way, its been worth staying here. Close to Universal Studios and lots of restaurants. Overall: great fun for kids, not so great for adults.

From check in, during the stay and from check out.. AMAZING. My family & I were very pleased during our stay. staff is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. One think i didnt like was this lady by the entrance door asking us if we would like to go on a resort tour for an hour before going to a park then get a 100$ giftcard. Everytime i walked in and out from the hotel, she would be there to ask and ask. Little annoying but i understand thats her job. Other than that, my family and i.. especially my oldest daughter loved the water park. They have 3 water slides (FYI -which has height requirements) and little kids water slides. I loved how the life guards are set up and they are always on a lookout for anything. There is a lot of fast food around and convience stores... burger king, mc donalds, popeyes, chillis, iHop, hooters, Pizza hut, cicis Pizza, dunkin donuts, checkers, walgreens, dennys and also the Titanic museum right next door. approx. 20 Mins to Disney would. The rooms are okay. Has a little smell at the beginning but fades away after with the AC. The 2 queen bed room are specious. Beds are very comfy! Bathroom was very clean. The housekeepers cleaned the rooms daily and left them very nice and organized. They provided us with towels, cups, coffee everyday after cleaning.
One of the pools opens at 8AM and the water park at 11AM. They provide you with many towels(upon request) while youre in the pool. You can eat and drink aside the pool without a problem. Food is great. They have brakefest buffet from 7 to 11. Kids are 4.95$ and adults are 12$.... ALL YOU CAN EAT. Also they have fresh made food for lunch and dinner, very good.

I truly recommend this hotels especially if you have kids. You will enjoy it!!! I can't wait to go back next year for sure.

Stayed here several times. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good burgers. Not too expensive for I-drive and if you have kids the water slides look like a lot of fun.

So disappointing I really wanted to love it. Nothing is clean the entire place had a layer of dirt. We had adjoining rooms and both rooms were smelly and the bathrooms had mold. An inch of dust in a.c. vents and no Wi-Fi at all. The water park slides seemed a little cleaner than the pools but not by much. The ledge of the pools had black mold and you you couldn't see the bottom of either. They were filthy and the life guards are decoration only. There were kids that are taller than 5ft jumping in 3 ft of water and no one dupin stopping them. We won't be back I really hope something is done before someone gets seriously hurt or sick.

Traffic is heavy in the entrance, not easy to get out.

Their communication: I called a couple days prior to my check-in to ask if adults can get on Parrot Perch?..He said "yes, adults can enjoy it" etc failed to let me know the thing was closed down. Came in to check in the NEXT day, and after checking in he tells me AFTER that Parrot Perch was closed! Also the check-in failed to communicate and provide what ammenities were available and the times.

Channels: 18 news channels , 7 sports channels & only 2 movie channels

Staff were incredibly slow and the room had things missing.

My Daughter and I stayed at the Hotel for 1 night but next year it will be longer. The Hotel was great and the Waterpark was great. The Staff was very nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Thank You, Danyele Fisher

Gave my grand kids a few days of vacation .great service nice rooms and they enjoy the water park very much.

Friendly manager. I fell asleep inside the store one hot day and it felt so good inside and the food filled me up. That would make an u one fall asleep but the manager woke me up very kindly and was very professional. Thank you and God bless to all but he staff?

Decent accommodation at a reasonable price. Close to universal parks and other local amenities.

We entered the swimming pools only and it was excellent for the children and it was OK for the adults ... covered by the sun almost two thirds ... I was attracted by the great availability and intensity of the attention and care of the rescuers ... Price was $ 19 for anyone who entered a large or a child but children less than 36 inches Free ... There is a cafe inside the lounge for those who do not want to pay a ticket and stay around the children ... Children under 12 years old must be booked ...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was horrible!! The room was dirty and smelled horrible. They never replaced the soap or shampoo in the bathroom. There was an extension cord connecting all of the appliances (lights, fridge and microwave). Which I have never seen in any hotel before. At night we turned off all the lights not knowing that the power to one side of the room, which included the fridge was shut off and all of our food spoiled. To avoid this from happening again, we slept with the lights on. Our room was cleaned late in the evening and they did not replace our towels. When we asked for new ones they said they ran out. This also happened at the pool, they ran out of towels. We tried visiting the arcade, which had no air conditioning and the workers left on a break and never returned. The water park was decent and had many lifeguards. It was not a place I felt comfortable or safe staying. I will NEVER stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

An old hotel that lacks remodeling. They charge a fee of 34USD for the water park even if it is not used.

I had a terrible experience I would not recommend it to anyone nor would I ever stay here again.
It's cheap and not worth it.
when I arrived the room wasn't cleaned properly. I asked for the floors to be cleaned and even then I have to walk with thongs because the floors are sticky and dirty.
The towels are of bad quality are very thin and small.
But the real issues are with management, someone vomited in the pool, I told reception twice and they did nothing about it. the pool was full of guests everyone swimming nobody knew about it, I had to tell them one by one.

Horrible service stood there for the weekend for my 2 kids birthday party. Rooms were so hot ac did not work and when i called front desk it took 2 hrs for service they had said that it was garbage on filters that it looks they haven't change the filters in years wow. When we reserve the bands for waterpark it took us so long to get them. We had 20 plus people and we had to go to the front all the time because they couldnt keep our names so all day saturday we couldnt spend it with the kids because we was actually doing the front desk work for them another wow. Our room keys didnt work for 3 times and when we call the last time the there was an attitude and said with anger " we have no room keys so you have to wait" oh hell no that was not professional. Not a good place i wish no stars -5 and i notice that tbe managers only respond to good reviews not the bad ones thats how you can tell its very bad

Horrible place! The have hidden charges and my sofa and loveseat was filthy. I had to cover it up with a sheet. The bath tiles had lots of black mildew present and the tub had large black chips in it.
For it to be a three-star and has such high ratings I was totally disappointed!

Room smelled like a wet towel and the shuttles to universal fill up too fast. Wound up having to cab it to the parks anyway.

One of the most dirty hotel ever. Super expensive for what it is. Cockroaches Everywhere inside the room.

Very large area. The pool was dirty, the rooms are big, good location. Breakfast was not included in the daily rate.

My family and I visited CoCo Key Waterpark a few years ago and we had a great time. This is a great alternative to the more expensive waterparks and a great place for a families with younger kids (little kids to young teens).

Although we took teens, fabulous place for younger ones. We enjoyed the people, the great location on I drive.

It's water park is right inside the place and everything is right there close to it so u can just walk there

We started our day at the water park. I did like the fact that we could use it before check in. We had an infant with us and baby floats are not allowed but life vests that small aren't provided like other ones were have been to. The bathrooms were closed for several hours making it difficult for the kids when they had to go. The room (2116) seemed okay to the eye but one of the beds smelled so badly of urine we couldn't use it. There was no hot water in the shower and no conditioner. There was a roach in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Most of these things are minor (the urine bed being the worst) but all added together i wasn't that pleased with my stay. The kids had fun and their memories are what matters most.

The water park was great and the rooms were cozy. However, the breakfast wasn't a all you can eat as they said. They were selfish with the sizes of your meal.

air conditioner was broke they maintenance guy that fixed it was awesome , there was no customer service help when asked about getting to the parks so we had to pay taxis at $50 per ride

This place is a JOKE. The rooms are unclean, the staff is useless, and there is a fee for everyrhing. I had to contact the front desk 3 times out of my 2 night stay due to loud and obnoxious guests to finally be placed in another room. According to management "We never give refunds". My family could not sleep due to all the noise. If you stay here, be prepared to build a strong tolerance for loud guest that security ignores, lazy staff, urine scented bathrooms, and be sure to bring extra money for hidden fees such as the use of a microwave. #sad Also, I'm pretty sure the photos of this place are extremely out dated. They portray what the place may have looked like 10+ years ago. #decieving This is indeed a Motel 6 with somewhat fresh paint and a water slide.

The resort is amazing, especially considering the price we paid. The water park is awesome. The arcade had more games than we were used to seeing (we from out of town). Even the laundry facility was bigger than we are used to on a resort. There are so many activities to keep guests (especially my kids) entertained. It is very close to the Disney parks, which is the reason we are here. We didnt want to pay the Disney resort prices, so Coco was a perfect alternative. The only cons thing I can think of is that the rooms were not at the same level of quality as the rest of the resort. The beds were comfy, and the tv was modernized. But the rest of the room seemed comparable to a motel. Room service is excellent. Also, there are busses that will take you to universal and sea world. That sucked for us because we had Disney tickets, but an added bonus for those wanting to go to those parks. Overall, it's really a great hotel in a great location. I apologize if it seems like my thoughts are all over the place. I'm writing this review while eating wings and fries in their restaurant. That's great too

Unfortunately we left the hotel earlier then planned as we were missold the hotel by our travel agent.

If you're a family this place is perfect, water park, games arcade etc.. But as a young couple on a Honeymoon it's not suitable at all.

The staff are accommodating bus as stated it wasn't for us.

We also had a similar issue as previous reviews involving bugs... That did dampen the mood alot.

We usually stay at a location that offers cabins, and try to avoid hotels. We stayed here as part of a package for the Universal Harry Potter exhibit. It was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The water park kept the kids going and exhausted at the right times lol. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Super cool hotel/Waterpark. Great location, very helpful staff. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.

Just arrived at hotel on 9/6/18 the room smelled like mildew and the bed was infested with BED BUGS. I took pictures and requested a full refund. I had my 7 month old & 6 yr old grandsons with me. I left the hotel and send to the Holiday Inn....VERY NICE AND CLEAN

this is a great hotel for a family vacation. And is everything to keep your kids occupied and you can even relax while they play. Hotel staff is mostly friendly and helpful it would be nice if some of their attitudes were a little more energetic. I also really dislike a hotel that charges $10 a day to park in a lot when you really don't have another option. I suppose since many people fly into Orlando there may be less space for parking. Still it's hard to not feel taken advantage of to pay to park your vehicle in a place that you're already paying a substantial amount of money to stay in. Otherwise great place everything you need is right on resort property and if you can't find it here you're surrounded by stores, attractions, and more.

For a budget hotel with a water park this was a pleasant suprise. Room was clean and we'll maintained. Water park and pools were good. This is a very budget family hotel and I would recommend for the budget conscious families.

A really nice vacation spot. A little bit older in terms of hotels. But what they include makes up for it I think. Quite a few pools all generous sizes. The attractions and slides are a lots of fun. The staff is very friendly.

Very eh. Half of the slides in the park were closed probably cause it was off season. Room was kinda dingy. It was fine for an overnight stay but way overpriced for what it was.

Clean rooms, I liked the hotel. Staff were efficient. Only gripe, the toilet flush kept getting stuck. Good location, if u like pizza, Cici's across the road for a buffet.

Charged my credit card double, one of the main slides was closed and while making reservations they never told me. Also she told me they had a breakfast free, wrong. Rooms are diffenly not as pictured in website. Ac didn't work properly. I want be coming back

Great place with water park. Nice room, clean. We were at poolside, when door was closed it was amazingly quiet, just a lot of foot traffic outside window. Weather closed park most of day, (International Dr kept us busy) and being able to use park while waiting for 4pm checkin is great. We will definitely go back.

This hotel is disgusting.And looks NOTHING like the pictures!!
We checked in to the hotel and went to our room. There was a dingy smell upon entering. I washed my hands, picked up the hand towel to dry them off and a huge chunk of hair was stuck in the towel.
I was disgusted. I went and asked for a new set of towels.
I then started inspecting the room more when I got back to find that the entire bathroom floor was covered in hair and pubic hair.
They also were charging the resort fees when the water park wasn t running.
We ended up checking out and going to the crown plaza.

The Waterpark is surprisingly large for a hotel! Rooms are comfortable!

The waterpark is split into 3 main sections: the children's area, traditional pool area and the main Waterpark. All 3 sections have waterslides increasing in size and complexity. There is an amazing kids area with a large shallow end that has water towers with huge squirt guns, water trees and 3 kids slides. The kids pool is about 4 ft deep and 30ft wide by 60ft long. The slides range from 5 ' to 100' or higher around the park. There are about 50 or more tables sets.

The facility is overall well designed and provides every amenity you would want besides room service. Of course you can just order food delivery instead. The food on-site is half decent but I'd rather eat elsewhere. The TV's in the rooms are 60"+ and brand new. The rooms furniture and design is fairly new and must have been recently updated.

Great place to visit and is truly an all inclusive experience.

It was ok , the first room we got smelled like cigarette ,but they were able to get us another room . The second night it rained really bad and our room was facing the pool and we were on the first floor , the rain water flooded the room. So we had to switch rooms again to the second floor. Alittle bit of a hassle but overall hotel was ok .just a couple of issues.
