Dr. Cusi and all of the other back end staff I have dealt with are great. However the front staff are cold at best but lean more towards rude. The place could definitely use some sprucing up aesthetically, its very barren. I have had no issues with wait times; the longest I've sat in the waiting room was 5 minutes.

I go to Dr Melvin James and he is the best psychiatrist I've ever had, one of the best doctors I've ever had, too. He truly cares and is willing to explore many, many options for your treatment. He is very reluctant to prescribe habit-forming drugs, which is another sign of a great doctor.
Only reason DR CUSI..i love him..other than that the wait is sometimes lengthy the seats are very uncomfortable you are sitting in a room that is EXTREMEMLY COLD with the AC blasting and the door shut. I dont like the atmosphere. Instead of listening to you they wanna get you in and get you out..i will be leaving very soon thumbs down for me
I've been waiting in a room for over an HOUR & 45 mins!!!! This is the 3rd time I've been stuck waiting in a room for a VERY unreasonable amount of time! Not once has anyone checked on me and I was told I was next over 35 mins ago!
The front office sucks. I dont deny that. This lady said I had a credit and left me in the lobby for about an hour. I watched 2 waves of new people get seen before me. I got up and stood in line. She called me up. Asked if she could help me. So I asked. Did you find out about my credit... she FORGOT and never checked me in at all. Her response was "I hope you havent been sitting there this whole time. I'm not sure where I couldve gone? Since I thought I was waiting on my appointment. Then another hour waiting on my usual doctor since I "missed" my appointment. Which isnt his fault. Luckily. Mr. Stephen is the only person I'll see. Because dr. Cusi would not change my medication because he felt my "benefits" outweighed my "complaints" they did not I could not stay awake all day and was miserable. Saw mr Jones and he took me off everything and I'm down to a pill a day. I feel I can talk to him openly and honestly and he has my best interest at hand
I called and the lady I spoke with was very calm and understanding to my needs, and further more she calmed me down and asked for my information. which I gave to her. I have an appointment on the 16th of this month.
This is the worst place in the world, not only do they not listen to a word you tell them, they also throw the entire medicine cabinet at you. I have been waiting for them to send my medical records to my Dr. for 3 months, and they will not return the new Dr. office's phone calls, or mine. So, I have been struggling really badly b/c I can only be prescribed 2 out of 6 medication b/c of no medical record....
My doctor was phenomenal, but I had to stop seeing him after about three years because I could not get my correct prescription this month when DAW was accidentally not checked. I called seven times over a two week period trying to fix this. I asked for a nurse to call me back but none did. I do not know why getting a prescription corrected (which is the difference between relapse and remission) suddenly became impossible. The office staff and nurses change frequently. The ones there now border on hostility. I would not believe it if I had not personally experienced this, because my difficulties getting the office staff or nurse to help me were simply unbelievable.
The staff was really nice and the doctor was very helpful I love the fact that he didn't just want to throw a bunch a pills in my lap and call it a day he gave me just what he thought I needed and also suggested therapy I would recommend this place to anyone who really wants help
The most positive parts of this clinic are Dr Cusi and Steve Jones. When I call to make my appointments I request Mr Jones, he always works with me with getting my medication correct. If I call in to have a refill I always get help right away, the only reason I didn't give CCNC 5 stars is because the atmosphere is quite spartan and sometimes the receptionists aren't as flexible as the clinicians.
0 start effort for this place. My son had an appointment this morning @ 8 am. I get to the office with all PPW filled out and ready to go. I hand the receptionist My son's insurance and my ID, she then hands it right back to me and tells me that I have to reschedule because my ID is expired. ( which is ridiculous) I called my husband, he came to sign off on the PPW and show his ID, and I asked one of the receptionist before he gets there that he won't have to stay the visit because he was already late for his job, she says Oh No Ma'am. So my husband comes, signs, and then ask the other receptionist ( because the one I tried to check in with told me that she was busy with someone else's PPW) if my husband was okay to leave, and she say's no ma'am he will have to stay the whole visit. Why are you trying to make it so hard for a child to be seen. you had my husbands ID. I work in a medical office and I have never heard of your id being non- expired to take a patient. ( were not military). The receptionist was very RUDE, unkind, and treated us like we didn't matter. Will never go back here again. My child seen me get upset in an office that is supposed to help you with those kind of emotions, not make you feel incompetent. Horrible experience. I wish I had the receptionist's name.
I have been a patient here for awhile, sometimes as a walkin on Fridays. I chose to come here and now am in the process of choosing another facility. There are to many negative details after this last visit/medication issue to go into and I am not a person to badmouth any facility, in fact this is the 1st ever review I have sent out. I am a smart, caring individual who has to rely on a medical practice for part of my daily wellbeing, meaning medication and med refills. I am a cash patient as I do not qualify for Medicaid or any other assistance. I also work in the medical field and understand that people rely on us for a service...yes, service.... The fact that you are understaffed and make mistakes is NOT my problem..i can understand once maybe twice, but when you are dealing with folks wellbeing and they rely on you and follow all of the protocol, you should not Ever, ever reprimand someone...you as the provider, should go out of your way to be compassionate and understanding and also apologize.. It goes a long way when someone is upset because of your continuous errors and lack of communication within your staff... I'm not saying everyone there is incompetent, but let me say this...in the field you, yes, you..have chosen, you need some feelings and empathy, especially when your at fault. If not, find another career that isn't directly effecting people's lives. I left a note for the Founder of this facility, Dr. Anthony Cusi.. Let's see if he calls... Good luck...
I would like to give this place 0 stars, but since Google needs at least one star to rate a company, I had no choice but to give CCNC 1 star. Although the doctors and staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful, CCNC's medical practices are extremely self-centered and are created for the sole purpose of protecting itself at the expense of its patients.
Previously, my doctor had prescribed me 3-month prescriptions of the medication that I needed. However, once he joined CCNC, things completely changed. Initially, he would only prescribe me 1-month prescriptions, and wanted me to see him every month. After 4 months of this nonsense, I finally complained to him and asked him to give me a 3-month supply, to which he simply gave me 3 1-month prescriptions! When I asked him why I couldn't have a regular 3-month prescription, he told me that it was because of new state and federal laws related to Class 2 medications. I did my homework, researched NC state law and US federal law, called my pharmacist, and called my insurance carrier and they all said the same thing: "Your doctor can prescribe a 3-month supply of Class 2 medication on a single prescription to you and you will be able to fill it at the pharmacy without any problems whatsoever!"
Currently, I will be traveling to another country for a work-related business trip, and need a 3-month supply of medication. I scheduled an appointment with CCNC, met my doctor, and told him that I was traveling abroad and needed a 3-month supply of medication. I was simply told by the doctor that he could not do so, and that he could only write two 1-month prescriptions and that my family members would have to mail the medication to me abroad. After my husband, complained to him, he finally wrote the 3-month prescription that he should have been writing this entire time!
The moral of this story is know your rights as a patient. You are entitled to a 3-month supply of Class 2 medication on a single prescription from your physician in the state of North Carolina. If they tell you otherwise, they are LYING to you!!! I will never go to this place ever again and I will see a reputable doctor who actual cares about his patients and prescribes them the medication that they need and in the correct quantity too!
I do not understand what people love about this place. The atmosphere is sterile and rude. The "offices" where you see your doctor are bare rooms with uncomfortable chairs and signs taped to the walls reading "DO NOT WRITE ON THE WALLS" and "DO NOT SIT IN THE DOCTOR'S CHAIR." I am routinely left waiting in a room like this for over an hour after my appointment time to spend less than five minutes with my doctor. I have been trying to get my prescription posted to the only pharmacy that will fill it for a low co-pay (express scripts) for over three weeks. They just keep giving me samples and playing phone tag with me.
This place is hands down the worst clinic I ve ever dealt with. The customer service is subpar at best. On multiple occasions I ve showed up for a scheduled appointments and have sat in the waiting room for 20+ minutes THEN in the room for at least 40 minutes, that s for a SCHEDULED appointment. My last appointment I sat for over an hour in the room and by chance Dr. Cusi walked by (after me asking nurses four times when I would be seen) and said I m sorry they told me you had not showed up I m glad I saw you. Had he not walked by I m not sure how long I would have waited. Two weeks ago, I called to refill my medication within the 72hr period they tell you to allow and I got a call the day it should have been refilled and they told me it was declined because I hadn t been since December, okay that s fine but my medication ran out that day so I asked for just a week refill so I didn t run out of it until the next appointment. Another option she gave me was to come in as a walk in but they closed at noon that day and it was already 9:30 & I had to be at work at 10 so that option would not work for me. She said she was at the Jacksonville office and could not directly ask my doctor, but she would put the request in. I was never notified that it was approved nor that they called it into my pharmacy so I went all weekend without a daily medication that you are NOT supposed to just stop at any minute. I called the following Monday to ask about the refill, was told it had already been filled Friday and they were sorry no one called. I scheduled an appointment for the next Monday, today. I went in to for my appointment appointment that I scheduled last week for today at 9:15 and they told me there was no appointment actually booked for me. The receptionist looked at me and said you could wait as a walk in and see the first available doctor . I told her that I would prefer to see my doctor and she said well he doesn t have a full schedule so you might be able to see him but it would take a while . If he didn t have a full schedule why could I not just make an appointment for today? Unsure. Dr. Cusi is a good doctor and when I was referred to him the LPC specifically told me that the customer service was poor yet he was a phenomenal doctor. I don t disagree that Dr. Cusi is great, the staff however have done nothing at all positive for my mental health. If you want withdrawals and headaches come here; if you want customer service and a team that actually cares about your mental health I would suggest finding anyone else in Fayetteville.
I would rate this place a 10 I Have searched for a place to take my children for months I finally found this dr and I must say I was very impressed We never have had to wait very long to see the dr this place has the best staff I have ever seen in any facility. Thank You For The Services Your Provide For My Children.
It started off great but the more I attended that place the more I hated it. It is hard when you have a 4 yr old and you sit in a waiting room for over 45 mins. If I have to be there at a certain time so does the doctor. The staff is nice but the time and waiting is ridiculous!
This place is like walking into a horror movie. Unorganized people. Phycytrist walks into room says nothing to you, just prescibes medication. I called because i needed to be seen, She told me walk ins cut off at 430, got there at little after 4 and she told me the stopped walk ins at 12 20 today, after I drove an hour. I believe that made feel worse than I already felt! Will not be going back!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been seeing a physician at the Fayetteville office for about a year and a half. My only complaint is with the front desk receptionists. One in particular has a habit of trying to be the boss, unfortunately it just makes her look pathetic and it makes me less likely to continue receiving treatment there. She uses "policy" as the excuse for her ridiculous decisions. Recently, I was not feeling well and went to my appointment hoping to be in and out quickly. I was told that I would not be "checked-in" until I filled out paperwork that I had been given at a prior appointment. I had no problem with filling the paperwork out while I waited to be called back and then finish it in the back after the nurse came to get me. Well, I was told that "policy" required that I fill the paperwork out and then be checked in. This receptionist was new and trained by the worst receptionist that works there, so I just sat down. I spoke to a sweet nurse who went up to the other receptionist and was quickly given the "policy" speech, and then told that her supervisor had conveniently not arrived, so I was unable to speak with her. So I waited forever and just felt terrible the entire time. I overheard another patient complaint about "the girl with the red hair" being rude. It's one thing to do your job and try to adhere to protocol, but it's another thing to be smart and realize that you are dealing with a human being who deserves just as much respect as the next person. It's sad when you are just treated without any sort of human decency or consideration of circumstances. My treatment was basically held hostage because of a receptionists power trip. I do want to point out the fact that one receptionist in particular has always treated me with kindness and decency. Her name is Bre, and I really appreciate her.
This place is awesome, loves Dr. Vee staff, highly recommend you to make an appointment, walk-in are not so bad once you been seen a few months!!! Never waited 30 minutes. The longest I've been in the building was 30 minutes. I'll recommend this place to anyone. Reason I gave four stars the lobby area is very small chairs to close to each other. On busy days people are standing along the wall and some men don't have manner when it comes to woman and children!!!! Again awesome place to get serious help.
Telemedicine is convenient, as specially during such a time of world wide crisis due to COVID-19. With this being said, getting anyone to answer the phone, no matter any day of the week or times I call, you can t get through and when I leave voice messages they never get back to me. By far, the most crooked place I ve ever seen, maybe that s because it s in Fayetteville location ! They have no issues prescribing medication off of 3 mental health issues you re having ! They don t mind but yet, you asked it to be upped due to tolerance and all of the sudden it s drug seeking behavior the whole office and it s doctors completely contradict themselves as far as medication and knowing what s wrong and the correct doses to be described. They d send you out with 7 prescriptions based off a couple symptoms and yet say you have drug seeking behavior because of tolerance! This place is just trash I know this more so now because of a long stay mental hospital that they run! I was treated like trash and there for 37 days!! It s called Brynn Marr, look it up! Look at reviews please. They don t help you or give you therapy! You know what they do? They dope you and others up so they don t have to deal with you and YOUR issues! and if my call isn t answered by the end of the week I ll be requesting my refills and hopefully receive them in the 72 hour window as this is all the pharmacy can do for I. Above all, they do not answer the phone! I will be changing my psychiatrist doctors office because this isn t professional AT ALL! Truly amazes me how they re still open and running, they ought to be SHUT DOWN!
The Dr and all the staff give me a great treatment they are awesome understand n help me Dr Stephen is a great person and understand n help me so much God bless all of the staff
You should be cautioned that you are unable to reschedule therapy appointments - regardless of the reason our whether you give a 24-hour notice or not. Therapists will release you or "refer you out" at their discretion. Doctors there are great, but be prepared to wait a while.
I've been seeing Dr V. He handles my meds for anxiety. I'm autistic and the entire staff is very understanding and helpful with my needs. They need more support staff and parking. The rooms are unfriendly and sterile. I would go back
Proffesional and caring. My doctor made things make sense! Thank you! Everyone's worried about the "environment" its about Dr patient relationship. Not how fancy the place is!
I left a message 4 times in their office at the nurse s station since idiot Dr. Cusi made a mistake in writing my prescription. It s been more than a week and I m still to hear from them. Absolutely horrible service, I don t advise anyone to go there.
I have been calling since Thursday of last week to get a prescription refilled. Not once has any one called me back or answered the phone. I have left voicemails after voicemails. If Dr. Jones knew anything about the medications he prescribed, he should know you cannot just quit taking them. I have been on the same medications for 3+ years where I saw the same doctor for all of those years in GA. I guess since I have moved to NC, Dr. Jones thinks I should come see him every 5 weeks but only gives me enough of my medication for 4 weeks. Now I am on day 4 without them. I wouldn t recommend this place to even my worst enemy. He is just appointment hungry so he can get paid more by making you come in for yet another appointment. During the appointments, he doesn t listen to a word your saying and just sits behind his computer clicking away.
My son saw Dr cusi before he ever went to this center. Now it seem like he just wants to hurry you up to get out of there. These people don't care about helping people that are struggling. I have call and ask for help and they tell you 48 to 72 hour for a response. These drs should be checking on patients that they put on meds to make sure all is well or to see what else can be done. My child is struggling but no one gives a flip. Walk in my shoes for a day.
I like my doctor & therapist, though I wish there was more flexibility in cases of an 'emergency'. With most of my previous therapists I had their cell, or could make an emergency appointment. Here, if I feel suicidal, I might as well do it than hope for help from the clinic.
Don't waste your time going there!!! My wife was there in the waiting room the entire 3 hrs They take their time calling in your medicine. She's been trying to get her medication since Tuesday September 1st 2020.
not even a rating ... I mean he dianogsed my son with severe adhd and gave meds I am on tricare and i called to come to my sons 2nd appt and they was charging me 55.00 which i didnt have .. and now they refuse to see me because the INTAKE PAPER WORK IS NOT THERE FOR THEM TO SEE i mean really get your stuff straight ... this is a huge embarrassment to the MILITARY
Dr Cusi is the reason I stay. I would follow him anywhere he goes. His bedside manner is unparalleled and he is the only doctor I truly trust and comfortable with. Please don t ever retire
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Their 72 hour prescription refill rule is a lie. It could be weeks before they will send in your medication all while you suffer without. Like I said, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
I would rate this company at a zero, because the personal experience from my sons previous therapist (Connie) is unacceptable. For five months she has only visited with my son for a full session three times. He was a weekly patient. She didn't really address the issues that needed to be addressed for my son. When I reported her to my insurance for over billing, she then told her supervisor that she didn't feel comfortable working with my son during his last session. I then told both therapist and and supervisor that I felt that this was retaliation for me calling in a report. Dr. Lee then told me that I had the choice to go to another facility or see another therapist. Being that my son was there, I asked what he felt comfortable with. He wanted to go to another facility. She said that she would send the referral when we inform her where we wanted to go. ( The supervisor, Dr. Lee) The next day I called the office and let the receptionist aware of the facility I chose for my sons therapy. There was never a referral sent. It has now been a month. My son has had no therapy since June.
I would not refer this facility, because the therapy that my son received was inadequate. If you can find another facility. Plus when you have an appointment you better be prepared to wait in the back for the doctor at least twenty minutes. I think that's ridiculous !!! Or if your more than thirty minutes early the receptionist wont inform you of it. I was an hour early, because I thought my sons appointment was at that particular time. I asked the receptionist if I was late. Because I was sitting in the lobby for thirty minutes. She told me that my sons therapist was running behind. She then called my sons therapist. I sat back down for another ten minutes. I was pretty irate by then. When I was going to leave and reschedule, that's when she told me I was an hour early. I felt that she could have told me that the first time. When you have a child that has ADHD and ODD sitting for an hour wont work. I came to realize that recipients of Medicaid and Medicare wont receive the services that is needed from some facilities. Beware of this place, and many others that take advantage of the billing, and the need of many that need healthcare !!!
Been seen by Dr.Stephen Jones for over 1 yr . First off this line up of fools in the office have ZERO compassion for any human life . The desk phone girls are not on task with files or a help they are clueless and to get to your quack of a doctor you go through desk girl to nurse to another and another hopefully thinking your messages or concerns are sent to your doctor to end up with no response no call back to only to go to a nearby er to then be sent back to your doctor who in first place no help. I feel and know they never listen in office just the common ( head shakes) and ( oh that's so sad) that is they're credit of response. The meds I were proscribe had a terrible effect and when reported the no it all nurses came back with the go to er response. Clearly the office as well as ALL Fayetteville offices are crummy with care and with human lives that are in fact at risk. It took myself to get through a suicide then this sorry office excuse for doctors. I rather spend my hard own money on marijuana for positive effect health then the practice here. BEWARE!!
Stephen Jones is not a Doctor, he is a Nurse and an idiot. He let me run out of my meds twice and twice I had withdrawals. Deep down he doesn t believe a word you say and looks down on you for being a patient. Any amount of time is wasted time with him.
