Great place if you are in need of food. I am there often with clients. wait time is 5-15 mins.
You will need ID. a current bill with address same as on your ID- if you dont have that, bring lease as well.
You will get to chose the items you want, and if you have a Nevada ID you will receive additional USDA items.
This place is great what what they do is priceless, but social service and welfare building suck IMO. I can call any other building and get a actual person. But no not the social services building it's crazy!!! Like i can't get a actual person on line to set up a pin. I guess the people working there are to busy making there laps around the building with the lame alpha females the rest of the woman don't even look like they want to be doing it, but don't feel like rocking the boat. and here's my favorite the two name callers that can't pronounce names. Best food bank I've ever experienced. It's like shopping in a grocery store. You pick out 10 Ibs of food that you want/need, and not just handed a bag or two of things you end up throwing away. You're also allowed 10 lbs of fruits/vegetables. For those who do not eat animals this is ideal.
They were no help went for a thanksgiving turkey and was told if I hadn't been in 6 months I wasn't eligible. If I hadn't needed it I wouldn't have gone there.

This was the first charity that helped when I moved Las Vegas. An excellent non-profit that helps lots of Vegas Valley residents.
I went there and filled out all the right paperwork to be put on the late list because i work nights at my job and they said i was good to go. I went to work and when i came all the way down there to catch some sleep before work again the next day, they told me that my name was never put on the list and got turned away. Never again will i go there to rely on help because they obviously dont care about people that work and are homeless
Myriad of social services for the disadvantaged. Food. Expect long lines. On site secure parking. Some squalor. Occasional disgruntled disturbances.
The food here is terrible and the staff are completely unprofessional. This charity forces you to exit and walk through a dangerous bum-infested street called Foremaster Lane, where I have been assaulted and battered several times. I hate this place and every single member of this rotten organization and religion (Catholicism) deserves to freeze in Hell.

Confusing when you first arrive due to the emense amount of people there who are in need. I was there to get assistance with food from the SNAP program and once I found where I was going, staff made me feel comfortable and explained the procedure to me. But they offer so much more to homeless or others in need. Including, day housing that no doubt saves lives during summer afternoons when the desert heat reaches 115 degrees.
If you need help with anything, they're a good place to start. Like food, WIC, or whatever they're going to help you.

They don't circulate the air, people just passing and spreading sickness back and forth from one person to the other and back again looked more like a Hospita and a refugee camp than a shelter. They make you wait in line for hours to get a bed for the night while people show up at the last minute just to cut in line saying their friends were holding their spot such a shame and sad for the people that really need a bed get left out in the cold such a shame to Catholic Charities to allow people to really take advantage of the system like that it's not first come first serve it's a fine example of "it's who you know" and it's the lowest form of low.
I am lucky to be even be out alive! Never again will I ever face this place again. People are crazy, the environment is repulsive and made me sick, the staff are cruel and heartless and treat us like prisoners, the food is so disgusting and people probably spit in it for all we know, need I need on. This place has made me a survivor. Heave my warning. Anyone who is homeless and in need of help, DO NOT COME HERE. I piss over top this hell!!!
They have several services here: shelter, pantry, social services, free meals, & others. I use the shelter and meal services. The shelter is cool but sometimes they DON'T have a blanket or sheet for you to sleep with. And sometimes they DON'T have towels for showers. The food is okay as well. It's free so beggars can't be too picky.
Great pantry place. They have a variety of services. Make aure you have the proper documents then it will be a breeze. Id, ssc for everyone in your house, rent bill.
As the Catholic Church has more money than sin, they use indentured servants (volunteers) to get more profit from human misfortune.

It's a good place to get on your feet has a social services, wic office, and plenty more.
Always helpful. Most of the peoples there are respectful and willing to help with a compassionate attitude. Some people there are volunteers who never volunteered before. You can tell the ones who are learning how to volunteer for the first time. But, overall, good service. I am grateful for the resources they offer.

This is a great place to find homelessness rampant. This organization provides resources like food, shelter, and referrals for other needs that can help you gain the things to bring you closer to your goals and out the trenches!

You need an id and current mail every time you go here. Other then that it's the first place I suggest that people go for food help.
They are better than most about food prep. Particularly with separation of items so that people with particular problems with some foods can still eat. However I suspect they are cheating the state by double scanning the cards they use to keep track. I've also found a type of discrimination that disallows someone with a hearing disability from joining their work program.
