Great place for team building. Rooms and accomodations are clean. Easy to checkin. Views are fantastic specially from the Terazas Cafe. Food from buffet are limited but ample and satisfying.

Lovely place to stay. Unfortunately they over booked. So, in the middle of our vacation they moved us to a sister hotel, even though we had booked several months in advance for a whole week. Very upsetting.

Check in took a long time. It was already past 2pm and yet the rooms on our supposed to be floor were not ready yet. It was raining during our stay so we spent most time indoors. But the rooms had no wifi connection and the cable tv signals and power supply were not stable. Also as we were preparing for check out, we were not able to take a bath because the rooms lost water supply.
The resort was fully booked but their service was lacking. They should not accept too much reservations if they cannot give the necessary services.

Everything was as expected. Food and accommodations were superb. Booking was also easy and everyone was friendly.

Why this was only 4 stars was only because of the pool. The pool felt not as clean as it should be maybe because it was peak season but all else were great! Perfect for families and large groups.

I was disappointed to know that the Aqua Park is not included in the package. We have to pay it separately although it is cheaper since we're checked in clients. The rooms are big and spacious. There's kitchen area however, you're not allowed to cook. Can't go swimming in the lake too.

My staycation here was very nice. Thanks balai isabel for the wonderful experience. Pools are nice, especially the biggest one( salty though). Staffs are nice and accommodating, the place is so relaxing. Rooms need improvement especially your appliances. TV's are too old. Cellular signal is too low inside the room and also the WIFI.
Your room is so wide I LOVE IT! Especially the beds. That's why I'm giving you a five star. Kudos and more power. Hope to comeback again soon.

I would highly recommend this place for Team Buildings. They have everything the team needs to enjoy throughout the duration. Also, I've been jere twice, both for team building. One was in 2014 when I was with a big group, and the other one was just 2 days ago and I was with just 13 people. There was no dull moment for me duraing those two stays in this place. That is, when it comes to the venue.

For the food, I would specifically point out Balai's Fried Chicken. It's so good, you might end up eating a lot of it. We had buffet for the 3 meals. Since I am not a big eater, it was just ok for me. Besides, not everything they served was pleasing to my appetite so I did not eat or taste almost 50% of those foods. Their "houses" are of different types. The one we just had was with car park and kitchen. The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, water dispenser and water. It's also got complete set of utensils. Your team can actually cook since they alsi provide cooking utensils. So if you get a house like that, better cook than avail of their buffet. They also have a la carte menu.

The pools are clean. I'd commend them for that. The place is scenic. The aqua park is okay, but I will not play in there again. We jumped from the highest point and also did the slide. It was fun, but the water was just turbulent at the time, and it was really hard for us to float. It's like the water is gonna drown you by itself. The sight itself of thw aqua park is not attractive. One factor is because of the water that is dark, and the obstacles are plain white. If you have body problems like me, do not play. I had previously had a bone fracture, so I did not finish the challenge just to be safe. But if you're into adventure, by all means finish it! It's really hard to finish, but fulfilling if you do.

There's an abundance of trees which I love. Brunch offers a wide spread of selections. The room I stayed in (Superior room w lake view) needed maintenance - the sink drain needs to be cleared; the toilet has black stain so must be replaced; the shower turns cold a few minutes after the hot water is turned on; the tile grout needs to be cleaned or replaced. The staff service is commendable. I give them 5 stars.

No telephone in the room. I have to walk down three floors and walk all the way to the reception for a request (which by the way is at least from our unit is more or less 200 meters). No wifi in the room. There is wifi but available only at the reception or common place only which is the reception (wifi is a necessity in every room). Parking space is realy bad. There are so many units but not enough parking space (Do they expect that people will come without a car?) there is supposed to be a car park enough for every unit. Before we were able to get into the room it took us more than 30 minutes in waiting. Now for consolation - the room service staff and security guards are great. Very respectful and attentive. I suggest you look for another place other than this one.

Very poor service! I called up 5x for e-car fetch. Food tastes like carinderia. Their serving of food was not enough to feed our group. They did not offer refill. Additional pillow request puts P50/pillow on your bill.

Not recommanded at all in term of services this is terrible. We asked if it was possible to order sandwishes or pasta but the staff told us that only pizzas were available. 10 min later some pasta and sanwishes ordered by the table next to us arrived. My friend ordered the first one, a margarita which they forget we had to ask three times to get the pizza. I personnaly wanted some desserts which were shown on display but the staff told me it was not available only pizza and made up escuses for the pasta that I saw from the table next to us by telling me they brought their own food. Question, does the guys at the pool made their own sandwishes ? Answer no, it was a a terrible lie, really change something this is terrible services

When we had our day vacation is totally horrible. Our aircon is not fix and cable.. they came to our room thats why we did not enjoy our privacy. My baby is sleeping that time but they need to fix the ac and cable. I will nit recom this to my friends.

Great location, right at the shores of Taal Lake and gives you the perfect view of the sunrise or sunset. The pools are big and spacious so it doesn't feel overly crowded even with a lot of people around. Lots of fun activities to do with the whole family.

Minus one star though because the rooms are kinda old and not very well maintained. We got a room with a defective toilet... Though they did fix it right away after I informed the front desk, it was broken again after one use. Also the TV in our room would randomly turn off because of a loose wire.

The food served in their restaurant also isn't very good and is expensive for the quality you get.

The place is really great. The pools are very clean and so many to choose from. The food is superb, especially its "buffet" i love the villa we stayed in. So many rooms and they are really very nice. We have a great time exploring the place. Had a grand time watching fisherman catch "tawilis" in the lake. The palce is so huge you will not have enough time to explore it. The church is really nostalgic and very serene. I remember praying for my family and that i felt really really good inside the church. Enjoyed the music being played while we were dining. Its was a grand old time. Spending a vacay on this place w/ ur love ones will surely be a family time well spent. hope you have a great time as i did here. Thanks! GOD bless!

At just an hour and a half drive from Alabang, I d say Club Balai Isabel is an ideal weekend destination for anyone from the South of Metro Manila. Let s start-off with rates, an overnight stay for a condo type room with a loft good for 6 pax with one bathroom and small kitchen cost us around Php9k, breakfast not included. However guests have access to three different pool areas within the resort, an atmosphere that of an upscale residential area within a forest across the lake vibe. They have a ton of facilities that you can check out on their website, among them that i have seen upclose are bike rentals, a spa, a community billiards table, a chapel and function halls situated at different areas of the property. Certain activities require a fee for equipment rental(jetski, banana boat, life vests and entrance for the aquapark). They are supposed to have a couple of F&B outlets spread across the facilities that draw the most people(Kumintang swimming pool which is their biggest, located near the Chapel) however only two are operational, Terraza which is like the main dining outlet and Isabel s panaderia & pizzeria, both located pool side behind the lake front. They have plenty of open spaces for fun activities like frisbee, small games of flag football or just kicking a ball around. I rated them 3 stars only for the following reasons: On the first day, my bed had ants. Which the room attendants seem to deal only with insect spray whenever they make-up the rooms prior to checking-in, what lead me to assume this? On our way up, the stairs reeked of bug spray! Management could do better with proper fumigation during off-peak months to address this issue. Bring topical insect repellant too, cause mosquitoes cannot be helped given the heavily wooded surroundings of the resort. The Buffet for me is overpriced given the modest selections however ala carte options are available. Expect the quality of the food to be Okay if not Above average(good but not rave worthy). My over-all experience deserves a return visit and I would recommend folks to come check Balai Isabel out.

I stayed overnight for 5 nights. During this time the service was fairly poor. It took my friends 2 days to get towels and water that were supposed to be in the room when they arrived. Our bathroom door locked and wouldn't unlock because it was broken. And the water heater was broken, fixed a day later and then broke again after 1 person got a warm shower. The hotel WiFi was down after our 2nd night. The food service was poor as well. The staff was friendly, to their credit. But we experienced long wait times for bills or additional rounds of drinks. Most things that I thought would be complimentary were not, such as the aqua park. We used most of the other amenities as well, such as the jet skis; which were not cheap and one was barely running and died constantly or ran out of gas during our 1 hr time limit. We did not receive a discount or a refund for having to use a broken jet ski that did not go full speed and we were not told it was broken before we paid. Overall the drinks and food I thought were well priced. But everything else was not. I enjoyed my time here but would not return.

Came here twice on December 2019. It was a relaxing vacation. Their swimming pool is clean and clear. We booked a trip to Taal Volcano from the front desk. Will cost you 2,700.00 per person to go to the island but it's worth it.

1 star for the beautiful view or Taal Lake and 1 star for the huge pool but... there are some problems:
1.) Room Cleanliness and Functionality - The room and the veranda floor is very dirty. Felt sands and dusts on my feet with sticky feeling once we enter the room and inside the bedroom. So we did not remove our slippers while inside the room. One of the toilet bowl is clogged. The light bulb in the comfort room is very dim. No foot rug provided in each comfort room door.
2.) The whole place is full of mosquitoes. You better bring insect repellent lotion/sticker for protection. I had mosquito bites in my arms and legs.
3.) Food is somehow "ok" I suggest to bring or cook your own meal because it might be more delicious than the food they are serving.
4.) Very awful payment system for their services - I asked for a room service for a massage since I don't want to leave the room because its very hot outside. The crew told me that I need to go to their reception area to pay for the room service massage before they could send the massage therapist in my room. I ended up cancelling my request because the point of room massage service is NONSENSE, I still have to leave my room, walk 15 minutes in the middle of the day were the place is very hot to pay for the room massage service.
5.) You can rent the bike to stroll the whole place but for me, it's not advisable especially for the children because there are fast cars coming in and out in the roads. No speed limit signs to warn the fast vehicles.

The place is clean and room size is okay. We stayed overnight with kids for a weekend getaway. We are 2 families with kids . They let us use the facilities as early as 8am once we arrived. Rooms are ready by 2pm.

Food is affordable and delicious. Servers are nice however the hygiene aspect of utensil handling is zero. I asked for straw the waiter handed it to me without napkin. On breakfast buffet they ran out of cutlery on hand so I went to the bar and ask the staff. She just picked up a spoon lying on a counter top and wipe it with towel, I refused it :( senior staff saw what she didi so he went to the kitchen and gave me a spoon (which i hope is clean) again without a napkin.

We had a Sunday breakfast buffet (it's free when you checked in) and I was shocked with the food selection. It looks like a lunch spread with adobo, picadillo, ginisang sitaw main dish. I was expecting for longganisa, sausage, tocino, corned beed. The staff said it was served last Saturday and the rotation choice unluckily falls on a Sunday. And they further stressed that the dish caters mainly to team building guest. :(

We enjoyed the aqua thrill, it's not easy though but we really had fun. My 6 and 3 year old kids were crying and scared. Good thing the staff manning the float is very knd, he carried my kids coz I am struggling how to cross the hurdle float! Some of it were deflated but over all it was fun.

There's zumba sesh too, kayak. Lots of activities to do.

Swimming pool close to the buffet area is clean however, day beds are few and no parasol so we could not use it. O hope next time they could put more daybeds.

Beach towels shortage were experienced too. The moment we used the pool we asked for these towel and lifeguard said " wala pa pong delivery" I am shocked. It's the first time I heard such, on a club resort. I am sure the are expecting influx of guest. That same afternoom moving to a bigger pool still no beach towel available. The following day , still beach towels are not readily available. Eventually they deliver the tower but not outright. Let's say a delay of more than 1hour. My fellow mommy who spoke to the lifeguard informed him that we will return the towels to the other swimming pool as our room is closer to that side. The lifeguard said " mam hindi po pwede kasi.. Etc etc" no hospitality training at all! My friend just said "ako pa ba mag aadjust sa kanila , sinosoli na nga ang towel eh para di sila ma short" . Oh well these minor comment that we just need to let go, coz anyway we are there at the club to enjoy :)

Absolutely would not recommend. This was our final stop for our honeymoon in the Philippines and we were so disappointed. It's overpriced, dirty, and with poor service. There were ants in our poorly-insulated room (we could hear our upstairs neighbors all night) that we could not get rid of, the pools are full of leaves and dirt, and the whole place smells like hot trash. Not vegetarian-friendly -- we ended up mostly eating at the resort next door (Leonida's - which I recommend!) which was better priced and had faster service. Advertised as breakfast included, but after you arrive they'll tell you it's not included when you book online. Overall, super loud, unclean, and smelly. And if you look at their reviews, apparently they've been having these problems for a while and do nothing to remediate them.
