Poor service, 3 rooms with over 6 people each didn't have water from 2pm to 8:30pm and malfunctioning aircon in my room. They waited for us to get mad thrice before they responded and did something to fix their problem.

honestly nice hotel food was great and the premium room was fantastic but lots of problems 1 cereal was served is sauce bowls, 2 power went out twice, 3 stray animals bugging me for food but as long as me and my cousins have fun and are confortable its a great hotel

You will fell in love with the view of the taal lake! I like how exclusive this place for members only. The staffs are amazing and so accomodating truly shows the Filipino hospitality. If you know any friends who is a member of this club you should ask them to let you stay even just for one night and it will be the best thing you will ever experience! I am so loving the place I forgot to take a photo with my phone!

This place has a really nice pool 7 foot deep at its deepest. The inflatable play area looks to need maintenance so we avoided it.
Has a massage salon on the grounds but it wasn't open for our stay (in room only )

Attended a friend s wedding here, and we were of course, at the mercy of the weather. It was fortunate that it didn t rain.

The place is ok but food and service isn t too good. We found that we served short, and there wasn t much ambience at night except for some lights.

Please brief your staff during big events sched. It's very frustrating when you ask questions and they don't know why you're there in the first place.

Room was good and spacious. However, the lake front was really dirty. So many plastic trash and other garbage floating around. The resort owners should take responsibility for cleaning their lakefront if they want to showcase their resort also my 1st time going there the staff had to make us wait 3 hours or more for our room to be available even though we've reserved our room. The 2nd visit was the same, they said check in at 3 pm but we already arrived passed 3 at around 4:30 pm and it still not available. I will not recommend this for people who value their time, money as well as the environment since they don't clean their lakefront.

When we got there the rooms were not ready yet, we had to wait half an hour. And then it took them forever to provide towels. But the food was good.

A quiet place perfect for a family get away...always wishing to stay a little bit longer...a hard habit to break :-)

Nice place, the apts and rooms look good but we only did the day tour. Fair buffet breakfast and lunch, good price, but nothing exceptional. Be warned that when we were there, the food places inside did not take credit cards, although the resort itself did.

Nice pools, but hot and bright in midday and the bar and snack shop were closed.

The place is really great if your looking for a serene and comfortable resort. The pool is also commendable because its clean and free from cleaning chemical like chlorine (instead they put salt/sea salt). I can say because I have skin asthma and i cant swim too long in a pool full of chlorine treated water. In short ''hindi po ako nangati". We also love the breakfast buffet they offer at Terraza Cafe. The view is so eye-catching. The rooms are big and clean as well.

It s a great place to stay as there s lots of things to do. But i was attending a summer camp here so the activities in camp are restricted nice place to go to.

AC did not blow cold, but maintenance cleaned out the filter quickly. Activities were pricey and I am a tourist. Food was pricey, as well.

despite the recent taal volcano eruption, you'll see that the resort is doing their best to make the place available to others.

Was only here to check the place out for a company activity. Resort is spacious and it's nice that they have 3 pools. The waterpark/inflatable island also makes this place more interesting. Have tried the food in their restaurant and I really enjoyed it. Wish I had more time to tour around the place.

A very good place. It has a great view of the Lake TAAL. The service is 3.5/5. The food is good and plenty. The is a pool and swimming at the lake is an option. The compound is very good and it has all the amenities fit for a family getaway. The price is reasonable.

It has the best view of Taal Lake/Volcano. Perfect way to escape the busy streets of Manila. Recommended for Family/Friends Vacation. They have some water activities such as Kayaking, boating, etc. They have 3 swimming pools. Also it has a restaurant.

2 of 4 pools were dirty - especially the kiddie pool which was full of algae on it's walls and floor. (algae shouldnt be able to grow on chlorine treated waters, even then it should have took more than a week to grow that much so the pool didn't have maintenance for more than a week i assume). 0 out of 5 stars

Water in the bathroom was intermittent. You'd have to wait 10 to 20 minutes for it to come again. This might especially be worse if the place is fully booked. Bathroom water also kinda smells like bad, like dead fish or something. Bathroom itself smells like pee. Looked clean but smells like pee the whole time. 0 out of 5 stars

Rooms are big though and the view is very picturesque. 4 out of 5 stars

An amazing Resort Hotel in the Gateway to Taal Volcano..

Food is great. The pools are amazing. Rooms are clean and cozy and give a warm and relaxing vibe :)

This resort has the best view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. It is only a 1.5 hour drive from Manila via SLEX->STAR->Tanuan Hi-way. The food is relatively cheap and you can bring in food from the outside. Just don't expect to go swimming in the beach.

Expectation vs reality.. poor and slow service by the staff except the room attendants. Aquapark is not enjoyable since it is by the lake and it is way too expensive for such experience. Pools is not strategically located in various locations. Car parking is not organized. Sad to say they prioritize foreigners though locals also pay the same price as them so expect discrimination. Foods for the buffet is not worth the price and as much as possible they dont want to refill the foods after the buffet starts even at peak seasons and at early time (715 pm). The place is huge with trees but walk to various facilities is too far but they only provide 1 working shuttle when they say we are fully booked so they are not really prepared for the peak season. Massage is not also organized since they don t know the schedule of their staff even though the counter informed us of the availability but ended up cancelling since they are unorganized. Only thing we enjoyed is their taal trekking package but that is beyond their service.

Our stay in Club Balai is okay not that great. The downside is our dinner experience in Terraza Restaurant is worst. Your order will take 30-45mins if you will make a follow-up but if not goodluck to your order. Its better to inform your customers how long the order will take not always saying sandali lang. How many minutes is sandali lang for you?!

Cozy place. Have swimming pool and beach and water sports.

The check-in and check-out process is a nightmare. It's chaotic and would take too long before your name is called. It's ironic that they wouldn't allow early check-in or late check-out, but might as well get there 2 hours earlier, so you get checked-in at your appointed time (3pm). The resort is ok but the room/apartment we got is old; has moldy smells and cupboards were not clean. If you're gonna cook, better bring your own utensils and cookware. The lakefront view from the front office was obstructed by the inflatable water park. It's a shame they have to do that; should have left nature alone to provide entertainment for the guests. Won't be coming back to this place.

Great weekend family getaway. Just 1.5 hours away from Manila. The place has many attractions like the inflatable aqua park, kayak, swimming pool, sports facilities that fanily can enjoy. If you love enjoying the beauty of nature, this is the place to be.

The place is very expensive. They should upgrade their amenities. The service is superb though.

Place: If you are finding a quiet place to relax, this is the one for you. They have different amenities that you can choose from so you can bond with your loved ones. Fees apply. Beach is not that attractive but they have pools as alternative. They have poor signal but can work both ways. Can help you find time for yourself since you'd be away from social media. There are security personnels and other staffs almost everywhere to assist you with your needs since they do not have telephone inside the rooms. Place is clean and maintained orderly.
Food: They have limited selections. Nothing exceptional. Most of the time during our stay they offered buffet for 750php/head. Mostly "lutong bahay". They offered servings of ala carte but again, limited choices. Pizza was good though. In case you don't want their menu there are restaurants just outside the place. Near the entrance
Staff: They are kind and friendly. They would greet you with a smile as soon as they noticed you. They are quick in terms of addressing your needs or concerns.
Location: If you have your own car its going to be easy to get to the place. Travel time would take 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, depends on the traffic. If you would take the public vehicles, it would take 4 to 5 rides depends where you're coming from. Fare is roughly 250 to 350, one way. Can be higher. I suggest to just rent a car if coming from Manila of traveling by group for comfort.

Overall, stay was good. I got to relax and enjoy my time with the family.

Stayed 4 days

Visited there from 2-13-16 till 2-16-16 for my wifes cousins wedding, we flew from Florida USA for this. They rented 2 villas (1 for brides family and 1 for grooms family). On the wedding day we all left for the church, and upon return, both villas ransacked, passports, ID's, electronics, cash stolen. Over $100k worth of items lost, including the data on the electronics (family pictures and possibly personal information). Luckily my wife and I had a room in a different area of the resort and were left unscathed. The resort hasn't been handling the situation properly and it has been revealed that this is the 3rd or 4th time something like this has happened there. It's a very suspicious as the resort is gated and has many security guards roaming around, noting that theres a guard shack across from one of the villas mentioned. Steer clear from this resort. The rented villas were not next to each other and both villas were empied. Obviously they were targeted and from my perspective, it seems as if it was an "inside job". Ive seen how it almost ruined my families wedding and I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Customer Service in the pizza resto is the best! I gave it a 4 because they don't have a phone inside the room to call the front desk for any assistance and they also have very weak wifi signal to none at all.

The place is beautiful! The rooms were also very nice!

They have 3 pools, a water park (additional charge), courts where you can play sports, pool tables, bicycles for rent, and spa (additional charge)

But don't expect to go swimming at the beach.

Peaceful environment, complete facilities, great view! Perfect place for getaway! Really love the pink lady at the bar !
