We purchased a 8x8 Polycarbonate Greenhouse from The Glasshouse Company last July, the product arrived in timely manner in good condition. The instructions were surprisingly good and it went up in one day. We love growing in side the greenhouse and my husband has now installed a wine glass holder. Gary and the team were great to deal with... Thank you - Would recommend.

We purchased a large glasshouse from this company. We are bitterly disappointed to say the least. It leaks like a sieve. At no point in the discussion process were we informed that it would leak. For the $13000.00 price tag you would expect an outstanding quality glasshouse. Another $2000.00 to erect it which was exhorbitant as is only took maximum 1.5 days Total $15000.00. The only reason it wasn t returned for full refund is because it is now full of plants that we have nowhere else to store. At no time were we offered some sort of discount or compensation for a faulty second rate item and they are not standing by their product. We have spent months trying to silicone every leak but it is just never ending. Before purchase people need to get a written guarantee that it will not leak then it will be up to the supplier to actually rectify the problem. Learn from our mistake.

I love my greenhouse and the masses of vegetables I can grow easily all year round. The staff at The Glasshouse Company were very helpful and friendly when we had questions about erecting the greenhouse and it has proved itself to be very strong and built to a high standard.

Compared to some greenhouses on the market, these are very strong and well made - we found out the hard way!

We were assured that our first greenhouse, from a competitor company, would definitely withstand 140km winds...buyer beware, within just under 12 months, and a couple of severe storms with winds around 100 - 110 kph, my beautiful, spacious, polycarbonate greenhouse, full of plants, ended up a crumpled mess.

Following this, we researched other greenhouse companies and The Glasshouse Company was on the top of our list to replace my greenhouse. Gary was very helpful and knowledgeable and upon inspection, these glasshouses seemed to be a lot stronger. Compared to our first greenhouse, the components are considerably more heavy duty and overall construction was hands down far more superior. The old greenhouse rattled and banged in the wind, this one barely even gives a creak.

I have waited 12 months before posting this review just to be sure, and it is still standing proudly, having made it through some pretty severe weather. After the first experience, I was quite hesitant to even have another greenhouse, but Gary managed to put my mind at ease by adding a couple of extra components just to be extra sure I wouldn t have a problem, for which I am so appreciative.

I would STRONGLY recommend checking out these greenhouses and comparing them to others on the market before committing to buying your greenhouse. The standout features would have to be the anchoring and fixings at the base, the size of the bolts used to fix into the footings and the rubber seals used to keep everything in place.

I also purchased a couple of cold frames (mini greenhouses) - these are great little units as well - great design and very strong.

In summary - be cautious and don t waste your money on inferior products. The Glasshouse Company greenhouses are the best domestic greenhouses on the market.
