Shady business practices lead the way at Burnsville Toyota. They sent me a letter stating they needed used 2018 Tacomas, and would pay over fair market value for them. Knowing good and well that was highly unlikely given my previous experience there, I was contemplating selling, so I took the truck in to get an offer. The offer was 5-10% below fair KBB trade in value. I drove directly to CarMax and was offered 6% more for the vehicle. Had a great and efficient selling experience at CarMax and will never return to Toyota Burnsville. I would have no problem with the low-ball offer, just don't send misleading marketing material that consists of straight up lies.
This week I bought a RAV 4 from Burnsville Toyota. I worked with Ken Harris and he did an outstanding job for me. He was very professional, patient and I never felt pressured. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a Toyota, to contact Ken at Burnsville Toyota.
After a rough start to purchasing my vehicle the Sales Manager at Burnsville Toyota saved my experience with his due diligence to make sure he fixed all of the problems and Toyota USA should be grateful and thankful to have him as an employee. Thanks again Eric!
Horrible service placed an offer on a jeep that has been on there lot since 11/5/18 today is 4/3 sent 4 email request no responce back. responce. Sent 4 request on there website and no I responce. They are trying to sell a 2014 jeep for 26k with a knocking motor. Sales manger had a sales person call and told me he will take 150 dollars off. Yeah I'm good. Hyundai next door has the same jeep 1 year newer 11k less miles more features for same price. Guess where I'm going, These guys should remove make an offer button on there page! Cause they obviously dont do business with people that want to a make a deal. Just another gready dealer looking to milk every cent he can on an over inflated market. Sales person was nice. Sales manger sucked!..
Friendly staff, I bought an extended warranty through them on my used car (not a Toyota) and when I got my routine oil change I had them look into something and they said to bring my car to the auto makers dealer. I was slightly surprised they didn't want that business. I'd buy another car from them. Maybe not get serviced though.
Since 2013 I have only taken my Camry to Burnsville Toyota because of the excellent service I have always received. I am a hospice nurse and my car is my office, my patients depend on me to be able to get to them when they need me. Your staff understands and respects that. Shannon, service, has been phenomenal in taking care of my office . Couple months ago I brought in my car to have checked over as my teenage daughter was taking it to Colorado. Shannon gave me his card with his direct number for her to call him if she ran into any car issues and he would help her safely get the assistance she needed. You never get that much personal attention anywhere. His care made me a life long Toyota customer.
It was a pleasure to work with Ken Harris. He was very knowledgable, honest, patient and understanding of my needs. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to go the extra mile to negotiate on my behalf. Happy customer!
Very good experience, Andy the service adviser was very helpful and we got the Camry all set. The car was even ready ahead of the estimated time so I didn;t have to wait as long as I had planned.
I have bought 2 cars from Burnsville Toyota and the service I receive is always amazing. I bought my Scion here back in 2016 and I bought my Camry in 2018 and I'm in LOVE with my car! I always have good service at the service department and Matt and Troy were very helpful in getting me into my new Camry! I will keep coming back here and I would recommend this place to all my friends. I am a Toyota owner for life!
Amazing team! Can't recommend them enough. Tyler was incredible and made the whole car buying process a genuinely fantastic experience. Answered any questions I had and was always very kind and polite. Never once felt pressured to do anything I wasn't sure of. Thank you Tyler!
I m not happy with my purchase make my story short ,i was asked to give my social security and my drivers licens to test drive a toyota camry Se2020 ,when i came back ,they run my credit with out my approval and my sales man had already pulled and run my credit and print out the payment but it was very high later on i called i complaint about running my credit with out my consent and i was told to come in and they will make right,Mr nathan did make some adjustement on the trade ...i test drive a blue car and i end up with a gray car ,less features and i was told my payment will included gap insurance but i end up paying extra $800 ,over charged extra 100$dollars on remote starter than any toyota dealers ,please do not give out your social security without signing a legal form,im stuck with a car that im not happy with and i was told its the deal of the century...... i dont think so, not recommended ,they must get a way with this all the time......
Service gurus Andrew and Austin took good care of me. They determined that my Prius needed new tires and, eventually, will need a new shock absorber. The tires were on sale, so I got 4 for the price of 3 plus a $60 rebate and free tire rotation for the life of the tires, which seemed like a good deal. I appreciate the coupons that the dealership offers and will hold off on the shock absorber until an appropriate coupon becomes available. I also appreciated the shuttle ride to my house in Eagan and enjoyed ta;king to Jeff(?), the driver. And thanks for the free car wash!
I was there Monday nite 11/11/2019 and purchased a different vehicle worked with Ricky Vang and talked with Nathan Dietz. this is my 5 or 6th vehicle i have purchased from this place. They have always gone out of there way to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. I would never buy a car or truck from anyone else anymore. Great people great place.
It has been a constant downward spiral. I went in for an oil change and as I left ran over to the burnsville mall. Then headed home on 35. As soon as i hit the highway my hood popped up and luckily caught by the secondary hood release. Then I got home to have to replace 2 tire air caps. From there I did not drive it the rest of the weekend due to snow took the other vehicle out instead. Today a hub cap fell off in the middle of hwy 13 on the way to work. This was suppose to be an oil change they didn't even latch my hood. This was my 2nd time using them for anything other then a recall and likely my last.
All the folks I've dealt with at Burnsville Toyota have been great to work with. Ken Harris was my salesperson and he was always available to help me when I had a question or an issue. I felt I got a good deal on my new Prius and a reasonable value on my trade-in. If you are looking for a new Toyota, I highly recommend you contact Ken Harris in sales and check out the Burnsville Toyota service department.
I arrived without an appointment and my 10,000 service was completed promptly. It is a pleasure to have my Corolla serviced at Burnsville Toyota. I recommend this Dealer for excellent Sales and Service.
I purchased a 2012 FJ Cruiser from Ben Lemke at this dealership a few weeks ago. The dealership as y'all know is located in Minnesota. I live in Missouri. At the time I went through the purchase process I was working in Montana. I found value in the vehicle regardless of logistics. Ben went out of his way to assist me in getting the vehicle inspected by the mechanic of my choice & frankly worked above & beyond what you typically get from even a reasonably good dealer. The vehicle is everything he told me it was over the phone. Throughout the process he acted as if I was the customer possibly spending my hard earned money at his dealership when I necessarily could anywhere else which again, I've weirdly noticed you don't get in terms of attitude everywhere else. I would & very well may do business with him again.
I have 2016 Toyota Camry the car have problem all the time and because have 50000 miles he charge me full price you think if you have a Toyota that you can go up to a hundred thousand miels but actually is not ones you over 36000 God halp you I spend over $5,000 in a few months so far to fix it for 2016 I'm back to my Audi again and I'm selling the Toyota.
Bought my car from these guys. Been bringing the same car to this place for 14 years. Thinking about replacing my tired old car, will probably buy it from here and continue to use their service department.
Ken Harris helped us when we were buying sienna 2017 , he is a wonderful human being and a great sales man.I would recommend Ken Harris to everyone I know . We are happy with our new car.
We are 100% satisfied with Burnsville Toyota. We had a comfortable and pleasant buying experience with Ken Harris. Our new Highlander arrived ahead of schedule and when we went to pick it up, Ken Harris provided us with a good time frame on how long to expect to be there. Additionally, he had everything ready for us. He went through everything in great detail. He even helped us sync up our phones to the car's computer before we left. If you are looking to buy a new car...ask for Ken Harris at Burnsville Toyota. He cares and provides exceptional customer service.
I went to Burnsville Toyota and spoke with Mike Miller. He was great. He answered all my question about what would be a best fit for me. I will be back and hopefully work with Mike again.
Great service! They take care of me at Burnsville Toyota. I will never go anywhere else. The staff is very professional and helpful, plus the lounge is welcoming and relaxing offering free wifi so you can work while you wait.
I received service on my vehicle this evening and could not have been more impressed by the customer service and efficiency of the Service Department. Jason C & his crew did a great job providing me continuous updates & quicker-than-planned service. It made my evening! Great job to all!
We (my wife & I) worked primarily with Liz. I shopped around a lot and dealt with a variety of car salespeople. Liz stood apart from them all as by far the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She's clearly an industry veteran that takes pride in her craft.
As a whole, I found Burnsville Toyota to be a great experience too. Friendly folks across the board that wanted to help us make an educated decision without coming off as pushy at all. I'd enthusiastically recommend stopping in here if you're in the market for a new Toyota.
I bought a brand new car I told about so many Issue they keep saying there no problem and the warmth expired they said they find every issue I paid $36000 for 2018 Toyota Camry XLE i will file complain with Toyota as starter and and I will with State and than BBU.
Never sign up for one of their email listservs. I have clicked the unsubscribe at least a dozen times and also marked it as spam, yet they keep bombarding me
Worked with a guy name Tyler Borgen and was fantastic to work with. Definitely knew his stuff and has a great personality. Would definitely work with him again!
Awesome place! If your in need of a vehicle go see Ben Lemke! My wife and I were looking for a new truck and we drove almost 3 hours to this dealership. I talked with Ben Lemke over the phone and he was very helpful and was extremely nice making it an easy decision to make the drive. Ben went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. I was surprised by his professionalism and attention to detail when it came to our needs. Like I said we live 3 hours away but we will be making the drive again next time we need another vehicle. Thanks Burnsville Toyota and thank you Ben Lemke !!!
This is the last time I will ever visit Burnsville Toyota. I have leased 3 Camry's and 3 Sienna Van's from this location. Every time I visited it was a different and not so pleasant experience. Today, the Used Car manager, Eric Samsel, purchased my 2018 Toyota Camry with 18,800 miles for $16,300. The negotiated price was $16,354. When I asked him about it, his comment was, "I never do odd numbers". If you look at Burnsville Toyota's used car prices, they are nothing but ODD numbers. This manager was supposedly Burnsville Toyota's 2016 Award Winner. If you visit Burnsville Toyota, walk away and come back in a month, likely the same salesperson will not be there. I will let you figure that out for yourself why no one stays working there. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for a vehicle purchase. They used to be a wonderful dealership, but that is not the case anymore.
Had my engine replaced at Burnsville Toyota in my 2008 Toyota Prius Dec 2015. I found out just weeks after the install that this used engine burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Went back to the dealer within the first month complaining, also the engine is overheating because the lower radiator hose leaked out all my antifreeze... Says that, this is normal and not a cause for warranty replacement. Prius engines can burn this much oil and still be good... Every time I went back to complain about this engine, they had one more excuse and one more attempt to fix the problem, like using heavier oil 10-40, and flushing the engine... and sea foam in the engine, really! But replacing it like they should of was out of the question. None of this did anything but give my catalytic converter a beating...
I eventually gave up and just accepted the fact that I needed to add oil every week and that will just be that. A year and a half or so has past since then and now I'm to the point where I'm just going to replace this engine, but before I do I would try to work things out with Burnsville Toyota that installed this used engine or Toyota even... Called Toyota Customer Experience Program, they agreed that this should not of happened and I should not be having to add oil to my engine every time I get gas. If my timing was better I would be able to take Burnsville Toyota to court but now I'm outside of this first year warranty I'm SOL.. just a costly lesson.
So now, less then 2 years after paying this crazy amount of money to keep my car running I'm having the engine replaced AGAIN because I'm sick of getting oil on my hands every time I fill up my gas tank. I'm not going to sell my car because of a lemon Burnsville Toyota installed.
This time I'm staying far away from Burnsville Toyota, and Toyota dealerships and its looking like its going to cost HALF the price, with 3 year warranty.
Stay far from Burnsville Toyota for anything other then oil changes, but even then your chancing it.
Burnsville Toyota will do anything to avoid honoring a warranty, or fixing a mistake they made.
Service here is a little screwy. I've actually gotten turned away for service (repairs/maintenance) several times! They gave me excuses like "why don't you take your car to another shop for such a small thing," "we're out of stock on that common part," and "didn't you make an appointment? We're too busy."
Also, the typical oil change takes about 90 minutes, which is too slow.
For those who want to go to a dealership rather than a cheap/quick tune-up place, I recommend a dealership elsewhere.
I recently moved to IGH and was in need of a new Camry. I shopped 3 other dealers and Burnsville Toyota was hands down the best experience. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks to the entire staff at Burnsville Toyota.....looks like I found my car place.
Ken Harris met us in the lot and He made us feel so comfortable there was an instant connection. Ken serves as a military Chaplain and me in law enforcement and he thanked me for my service , I felt I should be thanking him!! I had a very unreliable car and needed dependable transportation and Ken provided that in a very educated, streamlined and concise way. I saw in a very short time the value in Toyota and felt so knowledgable that I knew I needed to buy a new Toyota and this family owned dealership. The recession in 2009 hit us hard, but Ken instilled the confidence in knowing I can do it and I qualified for 0 percent making it a no brainier...Ken made the process smooth, simple and I won't ever go anywhere else!! Ken made me feel like part of a close family. Best of all being active in our church Ken did a prayer of blessing for my new 2016 Camry And everyone who rides in it.. As my past college professor stated on my 4.0 paper I wrote back in 1987. " Ken's superlatives fail me!!! Ken you are TRUELY number 1!!!!
Buy from Ken Harris! I had a wonderful experience this past week when I went to Burnsville Toyota. Ken met me when I walked through the door and stayed with me as I explored different options. Throughout the process, I felt respected and listened to. There was no high-pressure sales push and I didn't feel rushed. Ken listened and really seemed to take my best interests in mind. The overall experience was great and I drove away with a vehicle that exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Ken!
Overall I was really impressed on my car getting fixed. When I first entered the service place, what surprised me the most was..I have to know what would my warranty cover, so far it's been a while since I've signed those papers. But he didn't know what was covered and so I had to call over to Maplewood Toyota to get the information and they were able to pull it up within seconds!! I've always went there and was always satisfied no matter what. As I got my car back just on thursday (9/14), I noticed my paint was chipping off of my back bumper and went to lamettry for an estimate. I never seen it before especially when I had it towed in (8/22). It's been sitting at the dealer for three weeks and they had no clue because the person who I was with left the company a week before I picked up my car. It is not from the tow truck because it was raining that day when I had it towed in. The general manager said it could be from hot oil when lamettry said it's from heat. I did not had anything to do with heat especially when I only park it in the drive way. There was nothing there before and now the paint looks rusty and bubbly and its starting to chip off. Overall, I give it a three because the business I got at the end wasn't too satisfying, especially leaving my car with an empty tank at the time of picking it up. What if the car just died on me, I had the kids with me and it was literally to the E! You test drive it for almost a good solid month, you should at least put some gas in there.
Working with Ken Harris was incredible. He goes above and beyond to make the car-buying experience positive and to make sure the customer is happy. I will definitely be going back when I need my next vehicle.
This review is affiliated with Burnsville Toyota and the type of people that are hired by them. My experience takes place with one of their mechanics. He felt it would be necessary to exceed the speed limit and dangerously attempt to pass 2 vehicles in the right lane to obtain the spot in front of them before turning right at a light. As we approached the light I was nearly forced off the road by a blue crossover vehicle. I looked over expecting to see someone under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. The passenger rolled down his window and the driver began to verbally assault me. I abruptly stopped him and looked at his mechanics shirt which I read out loud Mike, from Toyota. I turned right and obeyed the speed limit as he aggressively followed me tailgating very close. I contacted his manager Scott who simply told me that Mike was on break and he cannot control what his employees do on their time. This makes me wonder if Mike drives his own vehicle with no consideration for his passenger or my own life, is this the type of person that you would want test driving your vehicle? Is this the type of person Toyota wants on their payroll? Would the owner want someone like this wearing a Toyota badge on their shirt? I, nor my family, will use any services or make any purchases from Burnsville Toyota because of this.
Service advisor Jason was personable and most helpful in sorting out our transition from Texas to Minnesota. The car was serviced as promised and we received a comprehensive report on the status. The only negative was that after I had set up the appointment, I was not able to add information to the record to change the service request. This should be a priority as it is the company's key communication tool with the customer.
Was seen very last minute for some interior issues. Was given estimates and a diagnosis. No pressure, fast friendly service. Free unlimited cookies while waiting, wifi, tv plus coffee bar...Free car wash code
We had a good experience with Jeremy Fears! He gave us a good deal on the car and we got Out of there very fast with our new car! He was very good at explaining things and was very nice. I will definitely come back for a new car soon. If you need a good deal or just a better car, i most definitely recommend coming here for a good, clean, better working, and a good deal type car!
My car has been only serviced by Burnsville Toyota since purchased new in 2010. They charged $683 for new front brakes, radiator flush, oil change and a retro-fit kit . Called Good Year and received quote of $532 ($151) difference. Good Year didn t mention having to need a retro-fit kit and at the time, I didn t even know I had paid Toyota for a retro-fit kit. Told Paul, director of service they just lost a very good customer. He asked how he could make it right and I said match price and told me he would have to look into it further. Told me he checked a couple of GY service centers and the quote I received was what he was quoted without the kit. Then said kit is around $40 - 48. That s still $100+ over GY! He proceeded to tell me in his voicemail that their technicians are paid higher because of training/experience and parts are Toyota certified. So are GOOD YEAR PARTS and service techs! Done!
My previous bill in February 2018 was $1500 - I wonder how much I OVER PAID then! Hmmmmmm!
Ken Harris and Kevin Xiong were an incredible sales team when it came to purchasing our 2015 Toyota Sienna. Both men were honest and completely dedicated to getting us the perfect vehicle for our needs at a price that we could afford. I'm afraid that I've lost my negotiating leverage because I won't buy a car from anywhere or anyone else.
"Ask for Ken Harris" I looovvveeeee this new Toyota! The brakes are very good, and the seats are comfortable. The Bluetooth is amazing, and the new technology in the car is beneficial. I'm glad I went to Toyota to find a car that is worth it! And Ken Harris for being an amazing salesmen! He has the jokes and my sister and I love his jokes.
I'm beyond happy to be a customer of Ken Harris @ Burnsville Toyota He helped me get my new Toyota sienna I felt like talking to one of my family member not a car salesman.
Horrible!!! Purchasing is exceptional...repairs as time progresses awful! My husband and I purchased a 2006 Rav4 and paid extra for side curtain airbags knowing it would be our teenage son's car. The car had been in due to a piece holding the side airbag in constantly falling out. They never were able to repair it adequately. Shortly after the warranty on the vehicle expired, the air bag light went on...and sure enough there was a faulty sensor in that side airbag curtain that needed to be repaired costing nearly $1000.00. I was told by a rep. at the Toyota Service center there was nothing they could do....even though it had been in for airbag issues all along. The warranty had expired approximately six months earlier. Yeah...I get it. However, this was a SAFETY issue. We spent extra for a Toyota because we feel the only way to come out ahead on car expenses is to purchase a vehicle that will be kept in the household for many years. Watch out....the minute that warranty expires it will be a battle! Opposite experience with Honda. Lesson learned....no more Toyota cars will be purchased by this household! This review has been written by the parents of Ryan Condon under his name since he is the primary owner now of the vehicle.
Bought my 2018 Rav4 Platinum from here, easy and great experience with Liz. Had a few things added (running boards, body moldings) from service. They all have been great and nice to work with. Daves the man!
Ken Harris was thorough about answering our questions and showing us the features of the car. He was genuinely a good listener, which is appreciated. My kids love the moon roof on our new car. The service personnel were great too. Thanks so much!
This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. The entire process was much easier than I anticipated. Our salesperson, Larry, was very friendly and helpful.
I just bought a new Prius Eco from Ken and had a great time doing it. It helped that we've driven similar cars and have similar interests. He knows the Prius extremely well. He made several calls to get info about the crossbar accessory and when he couldn't get good enough information he gave me great advice about my next step.
They did not honor their quote for Camry LE 2015. I double confirmed the price by email whether that price is with 0% or not. I got the confirmation from Liz that price quotes are with 0%. I have that confirmation in my email Now when I planned to buy car today, I called first whether Liz is available or not because I want to make sure the sales benefits should go to Liz Sampair since I am working with her for long time. But it surprised me when I spoke with Liz. She did not agree to her own quotes, instead started rude. I wouldn't expect this kind of response from Toyota dealerships. They must respect customers and honor their own pricing.
Wow, what a complete disappointment. Had cash in my pocket for a new highlander, and dealt with 2 flippant sales people (very dismissive, like we were keeping them from something). Have never driven a highlander or seen the new ones. Was told they didn't have any new vehicles to show us, only 2015's. Asked what the difference between the platinum and the limited was told a heated steering wheel, perforated seats and 6k. Wow. Hope that's a heck of a nice steering wheel!! He had no information on an 18, and suspected changes, but didn't know what. Wow, just wow.
I was greeted quickly and enjoyed a pleasant interaction with the service manager. The work was done faster than expected and everything was explained before presenting the invoice. Great job!
My experience from the moment I drove in and was greeted by Salad Ismail was SUPERIOR. He was professional and friendly and made me feel like he was truly happy to be of assistance. Thank you, Toyota.
Today i bought my first car ever on my own from Karen at Toyota Burnsville!! I was super nervous to buy a car, especially from a dealership because of all the horror stories you hear and how movies make it seem. I was hoping to buy a vehicle i had saw online so they directed me to Karen from internet sales. She gladly looked up my vehicle choice and let me know it was still there. I was prepared for the worst but instead she asked me right away if i wanted to test drive! I was so excited because i didnt know all i had to do was have a copy of my license made and then just go! I got back and long story short i felt like i was buying a car from a good friend. I was welcomed by all the staff and it was SO easy and everything went SO smoothly. I will definitely be going back to buy another car along the road! Thats all for now. Thank you Toyota Burnsville!!! I love my new truck!!
KEN HARRIS is best at what he is doing. Although Burnsville Toyota was out of model of the car I was looking for, Ken got the car for me from another dealer on very next day. He is very knowledgeable about each model of cars. He explains pros and cons of all the models in a crystal clear way. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Burnsville Toyota is a great place to service your Toyota. They seem to care about the customer as well as the cars. I always get very good service from the service department, and never get surprised with additional charges. and.... now that Mary is there... the sales team is complete!
Ask for Ken Harris! Ken exemplifies what a car salesman should be. He was knowledgeable and confident, but was not pushy. This was my first experience leasing/buying a new vehicle, and he was very patient, understanding, and helpful. Everyone that I interacted at Burnsville Toyota were nice and helpful, and they got me a great deal! Not only am I happy with my new car, by I may never go to different car dealership again.
