Everything was pretty good. Stayed two days and hostel service was good. There's a beautiful beach area.

My one of friends' wedding function was at Citrus. Their foods are quality and their service is in good level. They have swimming pools, facilities for recreational activities and many more. The hotel has interesting facilities with beautiful look.

It was great familiar and respectful climate in this place...

Nice environment. Wedding receptions and accomodation available. Good for family outings. Lots of scenaries because near the beach front. Very spacious environment and two giant pools.

Fine place to spend a holiday

Great hotel with delicious food and nice comfortable rooms. We stayed there for 3days and 2 nights and the stay was amazing. The hotel staff was really professional and helpful. Lunch and the dinner was quite exceptional and they had wide range of cuisines for all 3 meals. The Swimming pool is good but it was not depth enough for diving, that was only minus point I could get. Bathrooms were large, fine and super clean. Bed was soft and the other facilities in the room was wonderful. Worth for the money you spend.

The quarantine stay at Citrus Waskaduwa was a great experience. The hospitality service from Abi. Sandaru and Wijitha was excellent.

Room, food and service were quite quite average. And the hotel looks as if its not been maintained well. Overall it was a very basic and average expense.

They are charging LKR 10,000 for the photography even you get a full board room.

One of the worst front office ever seen in a 5 star hotel. Lot of bad experiences during our two night stay. Never going to this hotel again.

A very spacious hotel but lacks uniqueness. Prices are as expected and the service is good.

Big lawn for kids to play. Food was good and a decent pool. Getting a triple bed is tricky. They offers to turn the couch into one to our surprise!

This place is ideal for a wedding and it has a nice view of the Sea and nice service...

We spent a day here great food great service only thing that I regret is the stupid agoda booking system didn't show us the checking time had to stay 1hr to get our room sorted ..staff is very patient & helpful

Had to wait in the lobby till my room was ready, although it was reserved in advance. No customary welcome drink at the time of check-in. Found a wet towel in a closet. Dinner buffet lacked options, and specially there were no beverage options. However, the breakfast buffer was quite good.
On the plus side, the room and bathroom was well spacious. Nice see view rooms. (I guess all rooms have sea views.) Nice sea view garden. Friendly and professional staff. (Will add more later.)

My staying with my family was ok. Had a grade service except for some small issues. Food was ok. But selection was bit limited. (This must be because of less gust occupancy I think) the lady in the main restaurant insists to sit the location that her choice. I refuse because my 3 year girl was not comfortable. But the staff in the restaurant was very friendly. Speedy room service. Very good free internet is available. Rooms need some renovation. Shower cubical get flooded. :( the other thing is the are charging LKR250 for 2 water bottles but mark price is LKR35 each :(

Fantastic stay at Citrus Waskaduwa over the weekend. We stayed here for one night. There is parking available, check in wasn't too bad. There was a small wait of 20 minutes so they could set up our room.

Room was tidy, an extra blanket, two pillows per person, two shower heads, wide range of toiletries, plenty of towels, fantastic view of the ocean, widescreen tv, etc.

Pool was great, 1.2m deep in most areas and quite wide. Lots of deck chairs to be lounging around in.

Buffet styled dinner was great, lots of options to choose from and helpful staff. Breakfast was also buffet and plenty of options for a Westerner or if you're Sri Lankan.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay here during our time at Citrus and we wouldn't hesitate booking here again.

I reached Citrus Waskaduwa on 1st September 2017 at around 3.00 p.m. ( Check In Time is 2.00 p.m.). I had prior booking for two nights through one of the top most travel agent of Sri Lanka. More than 5 staff members were at the reception and they made me wait for more than 45 minutes to allot the room. To my surprise many others who walked in after me were being allotted rooms on the spot. On 2nd September 2017 night when we returned back to the room after dinner we found two cockroaches running on the floor. With great difficulty i threw them out , unfortunately house keeping had no answer. On 3rd September 2017 I had placed my US-POLO T-Shirt ( Red Color-2XL) on hanger for wearing after bath but last moment I changed my mind and T-Shirt remained in the cupboard. I have been travelling a lot all my life but first time this happened. It came to my notice in the late afternoon and hotel was immediately informed. Normally house keeping staff is required to take care of all the belongings left by the guests and hand it over to the desk. Unfortunately, once again housekeeping failed to perform. The T-Shirt was gifted to me by my son and that's the only reason I chased the hotel. Finally, the hotel rooms are horizontally placed on each floor starting from 001 to 0046. This is a 150 rooms hotel and there is only one lift. If your room is 0230 you are required to walk the entire lobby crossing rooms from 0229 to 0201 horizontally to reach the lift !!! Hotel must make provision for rooms near lift for Senior Citizens etc. etc. We experienced many things not appropriate with 5* standards. We are vegetarian but all said and done with whatever limited cousin available we enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
