I was here for a Christina Aguilera concert and I don't even know where to begin. She truly put on a once in a lifetime show! Everything was perfected from the wardrobe, stage pieces, dancers, vocals and the band. She is a great performer with the vocals to back it up.

The Venue: All seats are relatively close to the stage and if you are lucking enough to land a 1st row seat you definitely have the chance to interact with the artists on the stage. The interior design of this theater is beautiful. Staff was fair and reasonable when people tried to make their way up closer from the back. I will definitely be back for another show at this venue.

I took a behind-the-scenes tour with Sam the in-house docent. Sam was highly engaged and very informative. This theater is a gem and must be seen to be appreciated. The tour took about 1 hour.

The staff there went above and beyond to make our experience there better, we experience the problem and they did everything they could to make it better. Thank you so much you saved the show for us.

Beautiful theater! Once inside you will see what I mean. The detailing and interior of this place blew me away. Saw a orchestral show hear and had a great experience. Temperature during the performance was great as well as our view, I was sitting in the first row of the mezzanine section. No issues with sounds. Sneak water and snacks in if you can and go to the bathroom before the show starts. During the intermission at the concert I went both lines were tremendously long.

Enjoying this theater performance on a special day makes people feel as if they are entering the palace. The graduation ceremony is also very strict, and the whole process is solemn and grand. Sitting in the front box to watch the performance is very meaningful. Write a perfect ending to this journey,

It's a beautiful theater but if you're in the balcony, sit in the first couple rows because otherwise, you won't see. The rows aren't steep enough to see over the row in front of you and then down to the stage.

I love the Wang Theater! I went to a Derek Hough concert, and it was amazing! My only complaint is that if you got the very back seats(like I did), I could mostly see not the stage, but the wall above the stage.

It's beautiful, but not all seats are able to see a stand up comedian on stage, might as well wait for them to appear on YouTube (more than 1/2 of comedic bits depend on body language and facial expressions). It would be fantastic for larger productions though.

Nice looking theatre with great sound. Unfortunately their policies for general admission events lack common sense. There were a lot of people saving multiple empty seats for friends who "just got up to get snacks or use the bathroom". I asked an employee if this was even allowed, and she said it was. She proceeds to tell me that all general admission events are like this and that people can hold empty seats for as long as they want. I told her that people can just put sweaters on the seats and pretend their saving the seat, and she even acknowledged that was allowed. Completely ridiculous! If you get up during a general admission event, you lose your seat! Common sense right? Not for the Wang Theatre. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who felt this way during this event, the seat saving was absolutely out of hand. Also, the security to get in felt like TSA. Couldn't even bring in a bottle of water.

The theater is beautiful but the seats are small and close together. I am 5'9" and not overweight and it is uncomfortable. There is also a very limited choice of refreshments. I wanted a diet coke or Pepsi and could not get it. They had diet Sunkist or RC Cola.

The Wang is a great venue, with a beautiful performance space, reasonably priced snacks (for a theater), and a gorgeous entry hall. Last time we went, we sat on the upper, upper balcony, and the seats were slightly uncomfortable (I'm 6'1"), but they might be more spacious in the lower, more expensive seats. Overall though, it was a great experience.

DO NOT ever buy CitiCenter for the Performing Arts gift certificates for any performances at the Wang! They have outsourced their box office to third party vendors and it is impossible to use the certificate anywhere but at the box office in person. This means double fees for tolls, parking, gas, etc to get into the city to make reservations to see a desired show as well as a vendor tax on top of the outrageous performance prices charged.

Beautiful theatre, seats are a bit on the small side. Security is tight, which is a necessity about now, but it does make getting into the theatre a bit of a chore. View in the theatre is clear wherever you sit and sound is great. Rest rooms are huge and have really good paper towels :)
