Beautiful but anyone who assumes their audience is too sophisticated for Coke or Pepsi products is seated in the Wang's balcony section where the temperature is above 90 degrees with no ventilation. Enjoy.

Amazing old fashioned look. We saw a very impressive act here tonight by some young talented individuals. Very impressed and enjoyed it with my whole family. Only complaint I would have is there are no signs to the bathroom and you needed to find some one to ask where one was.

Alvin Ailey was, as always, terrific. But there is something wrong about the way the theatre allows people in - crowds, ten and twenty deep churning outside until they finally opened the doors, then the crush to be admitted; the theatre overheated, seating assistance haphazard. This has been my experience of this theatre for years. Time to fix it.

The theater is truly lovely...but definitely made for a time of much shorter, skinnier people. Be prepared for your butt to be squished and your knees to be jammed against the seat in front of you. If at all possible, always get seats along the rail lol

John Legend was stupendous but the Wang is a dump. Way too hot, my shoes stuck to the floor because of the filth left behind & the seats are so tight you can barely stand up. Disgusting place. JL please pick a better venue next time.

The rows have always been close together
People used to be shorter so I get it but now they have installed cupholders to the backs of the chairs making it nearly impossible to find a comfortable position if you are over 5'3". Very disappointing to spend a lot of money to be so cramped and uncomfortable that I could barely walk by the end of the night.

Best acoustics in the city. I will see a show I'm on the fence about if it's here. My father went to shows here back in the 70s and he loves the room as much as I do. The legroom can be tough depending on where your seats are but it's an old place. I love the ornate decorations on the walls. You have to see a show here if you haven't already

Saw little big town and the staff was so rude I will never come back again. Telling everyone to not video when wasn t was just taking picture. Telling people to calm down when they were just cheering

Fabulous experience and venue. Show reviewed was The Sound of Music. I only took this down to 4 Stars because at some points the acting was labored and the ensemble's harmony intonation was not spot on. Although that warps me out of theater world, the average Jo wouldn't notice it. "Climb Every Mountain" was a showstopper in my heart, and the reprise. We were on our feet at the curtain call!

Easy parking right on the same block, restaurants across the street and w/in walking distance, entrance through security check-in quick and efficient, and of course the interior decor was elegant and ornate throughout. From a distant perspective decor seemed well maintained, and actually was entertaining itself. Beautiful. Staff were professional and helpful.
We sat in orchestra, row O. Saw Shen Yun! Fantastic show! Had to sit on my coat for extra height to see over the heads in front of me. Otherwise, perfect view and comfortable with cupholders at seats.

Outstanding decor. Great shows. Leg room is awful. I am 5'10" and I had to turn my legs sideways to fit in the seat, and my knee was still jammed into the back of a seat, and sore by the time I left. It made an airline seat seem spacious. I would have given 5 stars if not for the torturous position I was subjected to for 2 hours, completely ruining the experience.

I purchased tickets to a performance. I showed up on the day of the performance to find a note in the theatre window that all of the performances were canceled. I called the theatre and was told that they canceled the performance a week ago and had refunded my credit card. That was nice but what would have been nicer would have been to contact me so I didn t drive over an hour and already pay for parking and have to watch my daughter cry because she was looking forward to seeing swan lake. I checked and rechecked my emails and no, not a peep was sent about Swan Lake but they were more than willing to send me email after email about other shows that were happening. I was not alone as a few other families that were walking up clearly were not informed either. Funny how when purchasing the tickets they had all my contact information, phone number, mailing address, email and yet they couldn t make sure contact was made To notify me the performance was canceled after spending a lot of money on tickets. The ticket representatives attitude was less than desirable as he made it seem that I should have figured it out when I received a credit on my card. I m sorry that statement won t come for another two weeks. Pretty sad..... I would not purchase tickets for any theatre operated by the Boch group as you are only setting yourself up for disappointment.

What is not to love about the Wang. Great acoustics in this Majestic Theater. Yes some of the seats historically are not comfortable but with the addition of new seats going in hopefully this problem is solved. In the balcony it may be hard to see but hearing is never an issue.

Just came back from seeing Sound of Music at the Wang. The theatre is old and majestic to be in and the seats are slanted so most seats you are able to totally see the stage. The downside is that being an old building there are not enough restrooms; however there is a dedicated handicap bathroom. Staff were super accommodating. The sound system and music from the orchestra was awesome. I would recommend seeing a play/show anytime but go in knowing the set-up. It will make your time more enjoyable. P.S. you can bring in soda, water and a snack during the show.

Spongebob Musical Tour as AMAZING!!! Would have just given 5 stars, but the staff needs to work on their customer service skills. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and lack organization. Reason for 2 star deduction!

The building is great, staff is friendly, and seeing a concert here is quite an experience (though Nick Cave is always special), but the seats are SO close together. You can hear everyone on all four sides of you breathing. I understand the place was built when people were smaller, but it makes for a very uncomfortable experience of you're not 5' or under and rail thin.

Beautiful venue excellent acoustics. Good sight lines from the balcony. Not exactly a lot of legroom and I'm only five feet six. Considering it's a downtown concert venue the drinks are reasonably priced.
