Visiting my sister from Alaska and I was jet lag and wanting breakfast or dinner she suggested the dwarf house which I had forgotten about I must say I was most impressed with the quality of the food in the organization of Elliot in a communication to the wait staff they seem to flow I will be coming back when I visit Georgia
Love everything about Chick-fil-A! In general the staff is well trained, friendly and efficient. I've never gotten service better at any other fast food chain. I'm guessing it's a better place to work making for competition to get hired. Don't change a thing Chick-fil-A.
It was so cool seeing the dwarf house . As much as we love Chick-fil-A, and this one definitely didn't disappoint. We sat in the self-service section. Chicken minis and chicken sandwich were good as always. I absolutely love their fruit cup and yogurt with granola. Food came out very fast. Considering this is the first Chick-fil-A, it is a must for those fans that have never been here. It is worth the trip, we came from two states over to fly out from Atlanta. Made for a great sidetrip!!
This is the ORIGINAL CHIK FIL-A!!!, where it all began. You learn the history of Chik Fil-A, how it all began, seeing the pictures_ the milestones of the family, the business, and the town. This location not only has the menus carried throughout the chain locations, but the original menu, including BEEF (STEAK), FRIED OKRA, COLLARD GREENS, AND SWEET POTATO SOUFFLE, and Waitresses!!! And the kids especially loved the dwarf size door entrance, especially for them, and the huge, round booth table, with room for 6-8, comfortably. The staff is beyond genuinely sweet, patient, and extremely helpful!!! And they are proud to be where it all began, and to share the history with you! If you love Chik Fil-A, then you definitely want to come here! If you are going anywhere near Atlanta, stop here! It all tastes better here, as well!!!
It is a amazing place to go and it has lots of history behind!
Tonight visit was scary shoot out. Car upside down on the track.
Everyone servicing is nice and corteous, but some of the ladies working here are angels. If I lived in this area, I'd be here all the time!
Awesome to see the ORIGINAL Chick-fil-A considering that I work at one in Wisconsin. Very very super friendly staff as you'd expect and they even gave me a tour of the BOH!
I went during lunch. They were extremely busy, however everyone there was so friendly and they kept the line was moving.
Now who can ever say anything negative about Chick-fil-A. Just totally delicious. And the new choice they give you whether you want fast food takeout or restaurant experience was a genius idea
Food taste great, however, the wait was too long...
Historical location! Fun for the kids. As usual, the service is wonderful and the staff is friendly.
Just ok. Drive through line was out to the street and slow. Over half the fries were small fragments. Not terrible but not great either
Very difficult parking lot to maneuver. No place to wait for to go food.
Been in line for 20 minutes, barely moved. Incompetence and inefficient...
Not the best service. Seemed very distracted. I was expecting more
I've been eating here for years with my family and it's a tradition for us. Previously I even wrote a 5 star review. However the service taken a dramatic nosedive recently. Service is now slow, the wait staff will forget items or just act like they don't care.
I could go on but you'd be better off going elsewhere. A waffle house will be much cheaper and probably offer a better experience all around. Sad to see a tradition bite the dust.
This is the worst Chick-fil-A restaurant I'll ever visit! I came with my big family to get some dinner after a long day, only to experience the worst customer service ever! Our order was mixed up, the cashiers and servers had nasty attitude. I'm a lover of Chick-fil-A, but this is terrible! Very unfortunate!
Was a little disappointed with chick-fil-A my sandwich was over cooked not juicy at all, the fries are not salty, service excellent cashiers very pleasant, for future info. Please, please, please season fries with salt
And make sure all the sandwiches are fresh and juicy as always..
This Dwarf House Chick-fil-A is open 24/7 and has a diner inside also
I had the hot brown, with loaded baked potato and the lemon morangue pie it was amazing, and Queen was an awsome waitress
Ummm did you say open 24 hours!?!?? #winning! And they serve you!
Service here is great no matter what Chick-fil-A you would tend to they customer service is always a plus especially when you ask for extra pickles and they do it for you and not a problem food is always fresh it's never hard is never cold is just right
Sat in line over 20 minutes today for breakfast, and then got to my destination with the wrong item. There was no apologies for the long wait
Slowest location I've ever been to. Took 20 minutes to place my order in the drive through. When I finally got up to the speaker I was told that the menu item I wanted could only be ordered inside. Worst service I've ever had from a Chick Fil A.
Great service and experience but they sometimes get the orders mixed up as they are trying to do things too fast in the drive thru. When I go back to get things fixed, they do it without hesitation, question or bother. They aim to please and I always give credit for that. Being gluten free, I have to make sure that I get my orders right and ask for things to be repeated not out of being a pain but to ensure that I get what I want and they are not wasting food. Great place. The dining room service is top down.
If you've ever had Chick-fil-A, this is completely new experience!! This Chick-fil-A has waiters and very different things on the menu. Beautiful atmosphere, and of course very friendly staff! Very fun experience, highly recommend.
The employees were so polite and friendly even at 5:30 am. Amazing experience!!
Longer than usual wait in the drive thru but my order was correct and the service was great as it always is.
The drive thru logistics were confusing and slow. Unlike other locations that constantly walk orders to the car to keep the line moving several of the employees were clustered in groups. By the time I got to the window my milkshake was soupy. However, they did replace the milkshake and we courteous.
This is the original chic fila. The full service food has a long way to go before it can be described as delicious. It's basically a waffle house inside a chic fila but costs more. The regular self serve section the food is always excellent
I always come for their waffle. It's better than waffle house!
This is the first and best Chic-fil-et. Met friends here and had waitress service. It was a very good lunch.
Imagine something between a Chik Fil-A and a Denny's with weird dwarf theming. If you can set your expectations to that level you'll do fine. The budget-minded gourmand might indulge in the "Hot Brown," a breakfast food item you can eat. I ordered a plate with two sides that came in plastic containers fresh from the microwave. Now thems good eats. Still, if you're inmeshed in Chik Fil-A lore you know the significance of this holy site, and will rebuff any criticisms of the quality of the food or its presentation to the consumer. There is nothing I can do to stop you, is there?
It's the Dwarf House, not just any old Chik-fil-A: the spot that started it all. As a fast food establishment, it's got the counter that you expect at a regular Chik-fil-A, where you can walk up and order, then enjoy the "dine in" seating.
But why do something at the Dwarf House you can do at any fast food place? THIS original Chik-fil-A is also a sit-down restaurant, with smiling servers and menu and everything. It's worth the wait to eat in this section, which we detour through Hapeville to do during most our trips to or from the airport.
Fancy a Hot Brown? Or do you prefer a salad? Cornbread or biscuit? Iced tea? Coffee, pie?
The menu lists chicken tenders, but as my mention of Hot Brown suggests, you will find other items on the menu that sound more like Cracker Barrel. I often get the vegetable plate, with choices like fruit cup (I know, I know), Cole slaw, sweet potato casserole, fried okra, collard greens, and mac and cheese (I know, I know!).
Don't miss the mural with Happy, Dopey, Grumpy, and the gang off to work, heigh-ho, heigh ho; the statue of Truett Cathey on a bench out front; and the tiny red arched door for smaller visitors.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's a quiet place, clean, good food. The attendant was attentive. I really liked the decor, it draws attention. The price is adequate. It has a varied menu. It is close to the Atlanta airport. Easy access using uber. It has accessibility in the bathroom.
Customer service is always excellent for me at this location. For the most part my orders are correct. My only complaint is one employee who needs to be trained a little better. I go through the drive-thru majority of my visits and one girl that takes the orders gets my order wrong every time she takes my order. The problem is she doesn't listen and I have complained threw times and it turned out to be the same person. I order for 4 of us and it's the same order each time. As soon as I start to order the girl would say is that all are you done after each item. I have to tell her no I am not done I am ordering a total of 4 meals and again throughout my order are you done are you done is that it. I have to tell her no I am ordering 4 meals but after each meal she will ask are you done is that it. Then when she answers back she always gets at least one meal wrong because she doesn't listen. Management Chris had to fix my order twice from her and a female manager fixed another meal on a different day from the same employee. The first time I complained they knew who I was talking about and said she was new and she gets a lot of complaints about her cutting people off and messing up on orders. By the third time I would think someone would monitor her and help her more but the same behavior continues. I won't stop going because of one person. If this wasn't such a norm with the one employee I would give 5 stars.
Had their spicy southwest chicken salad, it was very delicious and quite filling!
Took over 20 minutes to get breakfast in the drive through.
You know its really good when this is all you have left SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION as always
They are always busy, but with good service. Make a is the best, she is my fav!!!
Great food. Love the hot brown and not the same at other Dwarf Houses. Service is always excellent
While the food tasted real good, the drive thru line was very long. Furthermore, the cashier in the drive thru forgot to give us napkins.
What a great experience visiting the original Chick-fil-A restaurant. Service was great as always as has come to be expected with this company. It's pretty interesting because you can order quick service or sit down service with an extended menu. If you happen to be near the Hapeville area would recommend you to visit and see history. Overall highly recommended.
Good food. It takes a long time to get in and out.. Always a line.
Chicken so good, they must put crack in the batter..
It was fast service, and the people were nice enough. However it was dirty. The tables had food residue left on it. The parking lot had lots of trash. The food was yummy as it is at all chickfila restaurants.
It's a 24 hour Chick-fil-A, with a diner menu as well. What's not to love?
They make their teens stand outside to take in money faster in all sorts of weather...too hot and too cold. Not cool.
