Phew! This place gets busy! Bless all those workers who have to consistently clean after high foot traffic & deal with long lines of customers in drive through. Glad my food was hot but I do not recall hearing my pleasure.. not even once.

The original Chick-fil-A, this place is an icon. Worth the stop to or from the airport. It's open 24 hours (except Sunday of course). One of the few Chick-fil-A that serve steak and hamburger. I highly recommend the Mac and cheese or green beans for your sides.

Speed of service is poor, even when there isnt more than five customers. Three people got their orders before me even when I was first. I normally don't mind but the employee attitudes were rude and off-putting when I asked them how much longer my food would be. Expect to sit there a while.

This experience was exactly what I wanted it to be! The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the fried apple pies, but everything else was fantastic. As a long-time Chick-fil-A, this is a must-have experience!

This place is cool. If you like Chick-fil-A this is a must visit. We sat on the Dwarf House side so that we could feel the nostalgia. The food was mostly standard Chick-fil-A food which of course is delicious, but there was also the ability to have standard food or a mix of both. If you sit on the Dwarf House side they do table service which is pretty cool for a Chick-fil-A. The only complaint that I have is that I got the collard greens and they were very bland. Everything else was delicious as I would have expected. If you get a chance and love Chick-fil-A, definitely check this place out.

Parking lot was almost full so we thought our service would be slow and minimal, but we had a very short wait and our food came out quickly and tasted DELICIOUS! Love the history behind this location and awesome that they serve breakfast all day

Chick-fil-A is like no other fast food restaurant around...so it s somewhat appropriate that the original Dwarf House is like no other Chick-fil-A. In addition to the standard Chick-fil-A fare there are additional things such as steaks and various specialty items not found at any other location.

The combination of being open 24 hours (still closed on Sundays) with great food and the friendliest staff around leads to it being busy most of the time. As a result it does take a little longer to get food out of the kitchen than other Chick-fil-A locations, but when you take into consideration the number of customers and that most of the food is prepared fresh it really isn t that bad.

There s limited seating inside for the full service experience which can lead to a long wait for a table, but it s worth doing at least once - especially if you re a local history buff.

The number of people using the drive thru often makes the parking lot look like I-75 during rush hour traffic. Despite it appearing to be pure chaos it is actually well organized with a steady flow maintained.

Awesome place. The original building has had an addition so where The Dwarf House is to the left side and a Chic-fil-A to the right as you walk in the door. The original restaurant reminds me somewhat of a Waffle House style place in that you walk in and take a seat at a both or a stool, i.e., you have wait until a seat opens up. So you may have a wait. I had the Chicken and Waffles and they should be served at every Chick-fil-A.

3 employees were walking the lines taking drive thru orders but completely skipped over me. Even after trying to get someone's attention, I was still ignored. Once I reached the pay booth and told someone that they didn't get my order, they asked where I got in line (basically blaming me). Not one person apologized! If the employees had not been bouncing back and forth between the two lines, I wouldn't have been overlooked.

Always has been the best ever. You used to have a burger named after my uncle Robert Harman is it still on your menu. We grew up with the Cathy family in Hapeville and was wondering. I used to go there and go thru the little dwarf house as a little girl.

Visiting the 1st Chick-fil-A was amazing. Seating at the bar gave us the opportunity to speak to some of the employees more than what we would it have at the open area. This was back in April 2011, I remember the employees gave us a homemade apple pie that the restaurant used bake there, now days they buy from a local baker. We bought souvenirs and took some pictures before we left. I will recommend to visit this place and take your kids to the Dwarf House, the restaurant playground. Was this Helpful?
