Brilliant day again at chessington, my little boy loves it
Took us 45 min just to get in on a Monday, very unorganized but staff was helpful and kind
Great day out. Expensive entrance fee. We have a Merlin this year so we benefited from free entry. Shop prices were pretty fair. Gets very busy very quickly. The queues for the rides were very long. Most of them were a minimum of 1 hour. Animals were brilliant. Both my kids aged 2 & 5 loved the animals. The maps could be abit clearer and maybe more info dotted around the park. They have a free app to download for all info and ride waiting times.
I had an absolutely amazing day. Everyone was really friendly and the queues were really fast, There isn't really that much of a point buying fast track for anything but Rattlesnake (45 minute wait). I really recommend Dragon's Fury, it's fantastic!
An excellent attraction lots of fun for all the family. There is things to do for my 8 year old son and my 13 year old niece. brilliant day out and all of the staff are friendly and polite.
A good theme park, particularly for primary age kids. The car park at the moment is TERRIBLE! Deep pot holes everywhere and extremely muddy getting to the park. Saw a guy changing his tyre at the exit as we left. Not surprised.
Booked online went 3 weeks ago, loved it the only problem l didn't get to go on any rides (my own fault) staff were lovely also. This is the second time going not sure if l would go again as I've been twice and still not been on rides LOL.
Great place to enjoy a day out with rides for everyone of all ages.
Visited with our 4 year old and had an absolutely fantastic day. There were some hints closed but that was due to covid19 so fully understandable. We were a little confused why our 4 year old wasn't allowed to go on the log flume accompanied by us but could go on the vampire ride (he didn't as we didn't think it was safe). Apart from that it was happy faces and great memories all round
Visited their half term Animal adventures. Only selected rides open. But still managed to have a fun day. Only downside was by the time we got there. Both cars parks were full and they were advising people to find alternative parking and then we could walk in.
Brilliant family day out. Almost too much to do in one day! Good combination of theme park and zoo.
Great day out lots of rides for all ages, animals in between, helpful friendly staff, food very affordable. Definitely recommend it as a day out
Good all round entertainment waiting time proves you have to be patient but worth it
Brilliant. Something for everyone. Animals and rides. The hotels are fab especially if you get a room facing the safari park.
Great day out. Loads to do. Animals in great shape. Love the Sea Life centre. Recommend
Nice family day out, environment was great and the animals look healthy. Good sets of ride too. Worth the while
Excellent day. Queues could of be smaller if some of the rides were man by two people. Fiona on the graffalo ride was hard working and helpful to all who got off the ride.
Almost always busy, extremely long waiting times for rides, food very overpriced
Apsolutey amazing, rides for everyone but mostly family centered although the rides are beautifully themed and each area is so uneqe...
Enjoyed the our stay using all the rides, however staff in the swimming pool area not so helpful, and Alfie on reception could've given more advice on what where and how....buy a digit pass to collect all your ride photos.....
It s amazing!! I went for half day but I didn t manage to see neither half of the park! I really loved it! And you have animal and zoo safari and games and rollercoaster! Everything you want is there!! I really liked it and had lots of fine! Will come back to see the other half for sure!
Best theme park I ever been to,(beacuse it's the first one I've EVER been to) the staff was really nice and welcoming one thing to be improved is the price of candy.
Too many people and long queues. Distancing attempted but largely ignored. 1% masks. Kids had 3 rides in 5 hours. Needs a better system ie 1 ticket pp per ride and a time frame of say 1/2 hour.
Need more rides to open ..some rides are partly closed not being r maintaining regularly and therefore we should be allowed part refund on our admission price.
Just spent another day here, absolutely love it here, the staff are the best in any of the theme parks we've been too, always happy and chatting and the park itself is fab plenty to do for all ages!!! Be back next week chessington and I cant wait
Apart from the enclosures being far too small for the poor animals, the rides were fun and only had to queue for around 10 mins
Brilliant place for little children. It's a great day out
It was a fun day out and the kids enjoyed it but after the bigger theme parks it's definitely a bit of a let down. They recommend this for kids 12 and up but I'd say more for 12 and below. It's a great family day out and loads of rides for kids but if you're looking for an adrenaline rush try Thorpe park or Alton towers.
It has everything you could ask for, fun for all ages. It's has so much there you need more than the one day to complete the park and all of its attractions. Very populare during school holidays. Would recommend you go outside of the kids 6 weeks holidays
Had a fantastic stay....food in the temple was superb staff really helpful would highly recommend
Brilliant fun, a wide variety of rides and attractions to suit everyone. Ideal for all age groups.
We went during school holidays so I guess we should have expected to queue for rides. For one of the rides the queue times was 2 hours. On average it was 35 to 40 minutes, when you have two 4 year olds with you this isn t ideal as they get easily bored. It seemed a bit like there was a push for us to keep purchasing. For example you have to pay for parking which seems unusual to me especially when the entrance price is fairly high and then it feels like you are expected to buy a fast pass as without it the experience isn t worth it. Overall it was very expensive and for the 4 year old category there are much cheaper better theme parks.
Overpriced for children's entertainment venue. Once in the park all the rides are free but every add on like food, drink, icecream etc are extortionate. The park needs some TLC, bits of cement or plasterwork have crumbled away in places. For the price charged there should be some funds for maintenance. Park staff are eager to close up bang on time or a tad early but not early to open up for hotel guests.
Lovely family day out place. Lot of rides for kids and adults to enjoy. Some basic eat options but I would rate 5 star given the fact it has nice rides and zoo.
When you have to wait 2 and a half hours to get on a ride after paying lots of money, it is not good value. In 7 hours of being there and getting on 4 rides then I think that they have to stop selling tickets, after so many have been sold. So that it gives people a chance to get on as many rides as possible.
For the money the queue lines are just all too long because the rides are too short and can't carry enough people, resulting in long waits.
Love this place. But queues were far too long. Some 2hrs+ only had time for 2 rides need to restrict entry if overcrowded!
Fantastic weekend away. The park has so much to offer the rides, amusements, animals, sea life centre, shows. There really is something here for everyone.
A great benifit was staying in the hotel and being able to enter the park early and the swimming pool. Highly recommended.
Some great rides. None that we wanted to go on were broken down, although I did hear the water soaker on Ramsey's revenge wasnt working. Some of the queues were way too long, although one ride said 40 minutes wait even though we walked straight on lol. Park was fairly clean, although some of the toilet facilities could have been better. Can recommend Tiger Rock and Vampire. Overall a good day out and liked it much better than Legoland and maybe even Thorpe park.
Brilliant fun but very busy today. Had to queue for ages for every ride.
Lots of different things to do for all ages. Plenty of places to sit down and have picnic or use fast food or sit down restaurants. Toilets were surprisingly clean. Great day out
Considering we're in pandemic this place is atrocious! Staff have no gloves or masks on when preparing food. Social distancing is know where to be seen and markers on the grounds have all but disappeared. Run completely by children. Roads out of venue have dangerously stupid potholes. All in all a god awful dump & badly ran.
Many attractions closed. Unsuitable for young toddlers as they can't go to many rides( high restrictions). Staff not interactive. It was a quiet day there and still waiting time applied. Won't be returning anytime soon.
Great day out for my little boys first trip to a theme park
There are other theme parks in the near vicinity of this resort that offer much better value for money. It has severely fallen in quality since I was last there.
The rides feel, and in some cases are, out of date and in a state of disrepair. At the tailend of the summer the big rides consistently had a queue of over 100 minutes long; imagine what it's like at the height of summer.
In the end, unless you get a discount it's just not worth it.
The glamping and safari were my most favourite but the all-round experience was excellent
Great day out. I took 1 star off because I wish during the summer months they would stay open longer then 5pm, it's way too early to close, you don't get enough time to do everything.
Amazing place and Great fun! Great to bring kids and teanagers.
Nice, very well set out, like Disney. We went during heat wave and there are few places to sit in the shade. Everything is expensive. At closing time a couple of thousand cars have to squeeze through very slow barriers that require scanning a barcode, something that seems challenging to many. Exit roads dump you into right hand turns onto very busy roads.
Great day had would definitely book in advance online though, cheaper
A great place to go, the children enjoyed their time at the theme park..
Family day at Chessington for my son's 7th birthday it was a good day out but I wish the staff was more friendly and welcoming especially for the kids. Example... when waiting to be served for drinks and snacks at a premium Price! The staff customer service was dreadfully poor.
Great for the family enjoyed the rides and animals they had open due to being the last day of the season. Kids loved it and it didn't break the bank
Such a good day... Plenty of parking and wasn't too busy at all even in half term.
Weekend away with the family. Great place to visit. Caters for Adults and children. Queues were insane so would recommend fast track but still expect about a 20minute wait with those. I'd say to get there early and go to the rides you want first or use single rider entry where available of u don't mind sitting with strangers.
Went with my 1 year old and there was plenty for him to enjoy even though he was too small for most rides. He especially loved the aquarium.
Daughter had a blast in the park but our stay in the hotel didn't go quite so well. Whole host of issues. Needless to say, I'd recommend Legoland or Thorpe Park as far as kids resorts go in that area.
I'm only giving it a four.
The reason for this is the hotel is let down by it's lift capacity and the temperature of the pool.
They have 2 tiny lifts and at one stage me and my partner had our son in the buggy and waited nearly 30mins for a lift we could fit in.
The kids pool was so cold my little boy could only be in the water 5mins before he started shivering and the chlorine levels seemed very high as the water left my eyes feeling very irritated.
Other then that was a lovely experience.
Absolutely love it would go back here again everything is amazing and you're the time of your life or the met the weather and the arcades will do the rides with brilliant and I'll definitely definitely comeback it absolutely brilliant
All Good. Don't worry on other comments.
Avoid bank holiday weekend. Other weekends are ok with respect to queues. We reached at 10.30. Car parking, ticket collection was done in 20 mins. We could cover many rides, but missed one or two due to queue-its fine. However, it's fine as you will be able to cover many rides if you reach on time.
Gruffalo, Room on broom and tomb raider were great. Many other rides, couple of play areas etc. In short, just for it -if you are still thinking.
Great family entertainment, rides, roller coasters, zoo, safari experience fun ride. So much to do. Highly recommended.
Great day out unfortunately many of the big rides displays letting you know how long the queue was weren't working properly. A few rides were closed so not the greatest experience but we made the best of it and still had a good dat
Lovely place, but unfortunately too busy. I thought ,if you buy tickets online ,spacial after locdown , it's gonna be a limited amount of tickets for sale ,but not. Park was packed with people, long quie, no one keep a distance ,mess around.
Great adventure park. The kids loved the rides. Food anf drinks available everywhere. The restaurants have gluten free options. At this time of the year, the queues are short. The app that I downloaded was difficult to use- the blue dot is hidden behind all the flags. It would be helpful to have north-south-east and west direction on the app.
We have been to Chessington with our two kids twice now, the place is starting to get dated and could do with a fresh coat of paint in several areas and new equipment in others.
The car parking is a challenge in itself, best suited to a 4x4.
An enjoyable day out. Great family fun. I think teenagers would definitely want more. It feels like it is lacking something like an overhaul as it all feels a little dated. Shame because I love places like this. I Love the rollercoasters, even though queuing is a pain and to some may seem just a little tame by modern standards. If it works do use the App for queuing times and directions, very useful. Enjoy your day!
We got there just before 11am and need to come back for more adventures :D
Not what i remembered it to be however my daughter loved it but was cheeesed off she never saw a rhino
Went there for Halloween again and really enjoyed it again, I think it is so much better in the dark, the operator on the Scorpion Express was really good he was getting everyone in the Halloween spirit, will do it every Halloween
Great place for people who dont really lkke rollercoasters
A good experience, as usual. We went when most kids were back to school but ours had a second inset day (teach training, etc.). This meant all the rides except for Dragons Fury had either no queue at all or at most a minute or two. It tool longer to walk the queue route on some (especially Vampire!).
Some rides were closed which was a disappointment. Especially Dragon Falls. :(
A shame it was raining until after 11am but wasn't too bad. Although, when I inquired about the free return ticket when it rains for more than 1 hour the staff at the gate assured me that I was wrong and it had to be 2 hours and that I needed to go online to get it. Turns out they were wrong. They should know what their own policy is on this and what customers need to do!!
Other staff were very friendly though and overall the kids, my partner and I all had a great time. :)
Very few rides and extreme long queues. Should do something to improve waiting time - it was more than 90 mins for some rides which is not helpful
Nothing more thn any other park . Pleasure beach is way better
Great time with the kids get there early to make sure you can go on everything
