Very disorganized building.I've been renting here for 6 months and I had problems with crazy water and sewer bills, long waiting times to take elevators, Not heated swimming pool and NOT heated jacuzzi! who designs a hot tub without hot water? Not recommended.

It is a very beautiful and well-kept tower with all kinds of services and luxury details. Melody is centrally located in the Miami entertainment district. This is very convenient if you are visiting like us, or live there. Rent values are low compared to other neighborhood complexes.
Melody tower is a great rental accommodation! Better location impossible! Amazing views and reasonable pricing.
The units have wood floors, stainless steel appliances, great views of all Miami. Public transportation available, supermarkets, art museams just a block away, what more can you ask for?! It has a convenient store in house, Melody Market... and a restaurant that is just steps away from home. Only bad thing is that it hasn't opened yet, construction is a bit delayed I guess..
The staff is very polite and responsive, especially Armando. I love it here!
I LOVE THE STAFF / THE ANIBAL MANAGER AND ITS NEW WORKERS ARE THE MAXIMO.OJALA DO NOT CHANGE HAHAHA THE BUILDING AND THE VIEW THAT HAVE ARE SPECTACULAR. I LIVED THERE AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT.
I had overall great experience with the leasing and administrative staff of Melody Tower. They are really there to help. Some tenants on the other hand should really be fined for ignoring rules and regulations.
UPDATE. Things that need to be improved:
- Heated pool. I understand that you personally don't believe in heated pools in Miami, but everyone else in this city including majority of your residents do. The pool area is empty since mid October. Moreover, it was sold to the residents as heated and this is probably why everybody is upset now. - Water bill. Increase in 30% since September 2016 is out of control. There was no advance notification or explanation provided to residents. - Parking garage safety. Mirrors and lane dividers has to be installed. installed speed bumps is a good start. - Valet service has to be organized. This is a residential building not a parking garage for Arsht Center. - Elevators are notoriously slow. - Automatic payments for rent or water. Writing checks is so outdated and bad for the environment. Yes, I did ask the management and they said it's not possible.
I came here for a week from Europe to visit my friend and the experience I had was horrible. The people who work at the front are so rude it s incredible, they ll act nice to the people who are moving in, but when it comes to other things it s the opposite. They told me they will not open the door for me unless I get a key card when I don t even live here and they know that. It s their job to open the doors to guests especially when you call the guest from the outside to let you up. That I can t expect them to keep opening the door for me every time. First off to open the door all they need to do is manually do it from there computer when they re sitting down. Also the elevators take at least 15 minutes to work, and when you get one there s 50 people in. There were about 3 people at the front desk who worked there and they all saw me struggling to get in with my luggages and they didn t even give me a second glance to help. Worst experience ever, if my friend didn t live here I would never ever come back.
Don't get fooled by how new this place looks. This is the worst experience ever, in my life. Management is GROSSLY incompetent. I repeat I N C O M P E T E N T and grossly. A bunch of amateurs on steroids. There's absolute no security in this building. At night they have one old lady who can't say a single word in English at the front desk. This lady is supposed to be in charge of the entire building. If there's an issue on another part of the building, residents are at the mercy of rapists, murderers armed rubbers, you name it. They barely pick up the phone. The same phone line covers, "security" maintenance, management and the leasing office. The entire building staff is made up of about 4 people all pretending to be jack of all trades. I'm going to sue these people for their incompetence and ineffectiveness have caused me a lucrisive job opportunity. I wouldn't get into the details here. Stay far far far far away from this place. There're dozens of building in the area that will be available soon. Again, this please is a total joke. This is just 1/20 of the issues I have with this place. I could write a dissertation about how totally incompetent management is.
Worst building in Miami. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Elevators are a real nightmare, be prepare to spend around 15 to 20 min every morning from your house to your car. Staff is very unprofessional and rude, specially Abel Polo... he should be fire for the way he trates tenants. The Melo office should review the type of employees they have on their buildings....
I have been living here since May 2016. This review is long but I just need to put my points out there. Decide for yourself if the pros outweigh the cons. Pro: I love the inside of my apartment. Sound proof windows and balcony door. New appliances. Granite counters. Laminate wood floors. The view is amazing. It is in a convenient location, blocks away from Bayside and Publix. It is not far from Wynwood, Midtown, Miami Beach and Brickell. Right around the corner is the entrance to the highway. Cons: 1.I have not received a copy of my lease agreement despite asking for it at least 3 times. 2.Parking garage is a nightmare even when I am driving 5mph. No mirrors, speed bumps or lines on ramps. I get anxious and dizzy easily and I am on the "7th" floor. The garage floors are like this, 1, 2A, 2, 2B, 3A, 3, 3B, 4A, 4, 4B... You get the idea. They contract with a valet company so guess what? They add congestion to the parking lot. I was told before I moved in that there will be fobs and gated arms. Nope none of that. Several motorcycles and bicycles have been stolen. There is a now a security patrol in a golf cart. This is a joke. They should check who has a parking sticker before allowing to enter the garage and park themselves. There are no cameras in the garage. 3.Noise everywhere. I can hear AC units at the Adrienne art center's rooftop. The AC unit inside the apartment is loud. The garbage chute is in between 2 apartment units so they put a time restriction on when you can take trash out. 3.Pets have to take the service elevator which is always dirty. I thought this building was pet friendly. Those who have pets that tend to have accidents and do their business in the other 4 elevators, please have a plastic bag and at least paper towels on hand. 4.A few days after I moved in, there was a cart of trash and cleaning supplies in front of my door. I had to complain to the front desk before it was removed, and they said it belonged to the cleaners. 5.There's no dedicated line to reach maintenance. 6.Security at front desk act like they're full of authority. I've sat in the lobby waiting for my ride and been asked what I'm doing. Then they keep peering over as if I'm a suspicious character. Valet and security have both threatened to call the cops when guests sit in their car at the road curb or on the first floor of the garage, to wait for me. 7.There are 4 elevators. During rush hour, the elevators are so crammed like tunas in a can that you have to wait for the next one; which is fine, except you have to wait another 5-10 minutes for the next one to arrive (yes I have timed it everytime). Any other time, all but one will work and the rest will stay on the floor they're on. 8.Expect to only get ONE key card. This costs $50 and any other key cards will have to be requested and charged an additional $50 each. 9.They add rules by posting a paper in the elevators. The residents joke about this and correct the misspellings, which is kinda funny.
Moved here 2 months ago. Office stuffs are horrible in this location. Lady name Percella in the office has really bad attitude, she acts like she is paying my rent to live there or she own that place. She should not be in this type of business. Same with the guy name Agusto, he has also the same type of horrible attitude. One time my wife asked him '' how long is the pool open to? Agusto ans: " i dont know, come back in two days and i will give you an ans''. When i said we will complain about you to the mgt he was like go for it. Unit windows super dirt, parking is horrible. There are no convex safety mirror in the parking garage. NOT SURE HOW THEY GOT CITY PERMIT TO OPEN THE GARAGE? I almost got into an accident few times already. When i moved in place was dirty as hell. Armando was the Only person i found here was helpful. Not recommended this place. I got stuck for a year because i signed the lease.
I ve lived with this Melo group for 5 years and 4 years at melody tower. At first you walk in and the apt will like very nice and also the building ,but after you move in the nightmare will start. if someone coughs Next door you can hear it if you have any issues management doesn t care and doesn t do anything about it. For the last year I have had a disturbing Nose from a water pump that stopped working I couldn t sleep at night for a 1 year the Managment didn t do a thing I called Melo group offices and they didn t do anything as well so I decided To reach out to my lawyer since they breached the contract by not fixing a problem. The lawyer sent a letter and just than they fixed it. Keep in mind I always pay one time never have I ever missed a payment, cost a problem, or got any complaints. I am never home I work 14 hours a day. I got a letter in the mail from Melo group wanting me out of their apt my the 30th of them month without any reason and band me from any of their buildings just like that. My advise stay away also the price isn t cheap as you think it s actually More expensive than other places STAY AWAY there are a lot more issues here just don t want to keep on writing.
The luxury apartment boast is a farce. If you are thinking of living in the one bedrooms sandwiched between the two and three bedroom apartments, be prepared to be sleep deprived, involved in your neighbors love of loud music and neurotic dogs that missed the training cycle. I've been here for 2 years and have found the place to be a rip off the longer I stayed. Super thin walls, yes these may be standard dry wall but is it ok to pay $1900 a month and be privileged to hear every conversation going on in the neighbors place, word for word? I now know the guys next door to me have rent problems. Management is good if Abel deals with the problem but if you are unlucky and get the "I love myself" grey haired guy, forget it. My advice, if the view is all you need to survive then this place is for you. If you want more go elsewhere. You are not getting value at Melody.
This place is the worst. The worst service to residents I've experienced in my entire life. It is a new building and yet it is full of unfinished details and defects. They promote it as a luxury building, but not even jokingly Melody qualifies. Every time we approach consergeria to make a settlement request they give us empty answers. Installation managers have no interest in helping most of the time and don't care about the building (clearly a sign of job dissatisfaction). They do not answer the telephone and much less the correspondence by email. If we raise the request to the main branch it is like nothing. We are just waiting for our contract with these infamous to end to go to another place where the resident is treated with the respect he deserves, especially when we are talking about a rent of $ 2000, then see if our two month deposit is returned because My neighbor stole her money with I don't know how many excuses. It is unfortunate that there are places like that and that my boyfriend and I have made such a terrible selection. There is more to read the answers given by the administration to realize what kind of crowd this is. Please boys and girls, read between the lines and do not rent here or regret it. Good luck!
Just moved into this building. Nice place but definitely needs some work done to it. Garage is dangerous to go up and down it. They should put mirrors in the garage.
Elevators take forever! Stuck waiting 15-20 min at times but overall nice apartment that are well distributed and view is nice from the top floors.
Management is friendly and helpful up to now. 3 star due to the elevators and garage setup but other than that no complains.
The apartment is lovely, spacious and luminous. We love the quality details such as wooden floors and granite counter tops, this is much appreciated considering we pay a super fair price for it. Amenities, covered parking, all well maintained and clean.
I am a tenant and been having a great experience renting my unit Eduardo Concepcion costumer service at the leasing office has been excellent ! The process was smooth and fast with out any headache like other buildings. It s been a pleasure to rent the unit from him . Even after a month he is always available and willing to help in anything we have need!
1. the walls are paper thin. Our bedroom shares a wall with our neighbor's bedroom and I can hear every single word they say clearly.
2. Their guest valet is $15 for the first 2 hours and $25 for over 2 hours. That means if your friend or family wants to visit for dinner they'll end up paying $25 for parking, which is the same price as an ocean drive hotel. Clearly they would rather capitalize on arscht center parking than accommodate the guests that live in this building.
3. The elevators are extremely inefficient. There are 38 floors in the building and they have no system to make the elevators more efficient, for example, having 2 elevators reserved for higher floors and the other 2 reserved for lower floors. This results in an average of 15 minutes from the lobby to an upper floor. Not to mention, they put the mailboxes on the second floor but did not provide a staircase from the lobby floor to the second floor (braindead), so you have to actually wait for the elevator to go to the second floor to check the mail and then wait for yet another elevator to go up to your apartment.
4. They do not maintain any of the amenities. There is visible dried up sweat and grime on the gym machines. The pool is always full of scumbags drinking out of glass bottles and they have no security at all.
5. Their parking lot is EXTREMELY dangerous. There is a narrow winding path and 16 floors. They did not bother putting in dividers or mirrors, and people whip up and down constantly. I've come close to a head on collision many times. The valet drivers are the most dangerous of the drivers.
6. There is no actual management. They live in the stone age. They do not send emails, and they do not answer them either. They require you to pay rent in person which is often a 20 minute or more process to wait for the front desk agent to fill out a "paid receipt." Is it 2016 or am I missing something?
7. When you have packages delivered from amazon, etc, you cannot access them unless management is in, and management is only in until 7pm. If you work past 6pm like the average person, this will be a problem. In every other building I've lived in, they have a system for distributing packages and they are available 24/7.
The best building in the arts district. It has everything, the apartments have a panoramic view of the bay or the center, a beautiful vibrant neighborhood with venues and cultural activities, security, and the price is very competitive.
Very unprofessional staff. No one ever picks up the phone. Finally just went to see the place and they treated me like they were doing me a favor by doing their job. I liked the building a lot but if this is how they treat prospective/potential tenants, then I don't even want to find out how they will treat theirs residents.
The valet parking manager Wiston and Bryan are very rude! They don't have respect for the people who live there, or for the visitors. This company have to be changed. At lease these two guys.
If you are considering to move to any Melo building DONT DO IT ! The developer is garbage ! They hire the worst , most incompetent people to work at their buildings . They re terrible landlords due to their lack of professionalism. Their units are expensive and made out of paper ( literally ) . I can sincerely say that I was a great tenant ; paid rent on time , turned the apt in as new , and respected all their rules and policies for the building . They fail to tell you that for your deposit they keep $280 for carpet and a $300 cleaning fee in the which they rob you from your deposit regardless . The property manager Vanessa is terrible at answering emails especially when it s an issue that she needs to be involved . Customer service does not exist to them.
I lived last year at Melody tower and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, because of a job transfer I had to move out of state. Thanks to the managers for making me enjoy my stay.
I love live in this place !The view from our apartment is incredible, and the location is so convenient, in a highly walkable area literally a couple blocks from several restaurants, stores, museums, the AAA, and the MetroMover. BUT...The complaint I have are THE GYM!! There are NO MIRRORS in the GYM!! who doesn t put mirrors in the gym? nobody ever answer my e-mails about this. Wish the gym was 24 hours as my schedule is all over the place
Looking forward to hearing from management so I can go back and make a 5 star review !! Thank you!
Such a nice apartment! Great view and awesome customer service from the building management. I m in love with the amenities, I m working out super hard and the gym is fully equipped. Lovely and positive vibes.
The worst building in Miami. Sketchy, management doesn t speak English and they don t care about their residents at all. Get ready to wait for the elevator for 20+ minutes. They re always broken and no one fixes them.
I find it pretty suspicious when I read multiple, detailed 1 star reviews in a row, then see them followed by a bunch 5 star reviews with no information. Really makes you wonder if any of the good reviews here are legitimate, eh? If you're having doubts, let me tell you a couple things about this place...
First off, the apartments themselves are actually pretty nice for the money. No real issues except the walls are pretty thin, but this is to be expected with almost any affordable apartment. It's a new building, so you'll have brand new appliances and your bathrooms should be in decent shape. The balcony is also nice if you're high up. I had no issues with the actual units. They made this place tolerable for 2 years.
Now, here's why you get a 1 star review Melody. Your management staff is absolutely atrocious. Seriously, I've never seen such a dysfunctional group of employees. Skip the circus folks, and just walk downstairs and watch these people operate. The Ringmaster (guy with the grey hair) will orchestrate this band of clowns for your amusement and frustration. Ask them a simple question and they will act like you're being such an inconvenience. Ask them for a copy of your lease and they'll look up from texting on their phone, roll their eyes, and tell you to send a message to their group email instead of just printing you a copy.
You think you can get something simple such as a parking pass? Think again! They once gave us passes for spaces that were already occupied. We went back to inform them of this incident and they told us they would "make a note of it" instead of simply handling the issue on the spot. Apparently, doing your job and keeping a simple diagram of vacant/occupied parking spaces is too excruciating for them to handle.
Moving in or moving out? You're in for a real treat! These guys will schedule 5 moves on the same day, at the same time in order to make it the most painful move of your life. There's only 1 service elevator folks, so put your dukes up. It's going to be a fight!
You'd think with 100's of residents, there would be a locked room for packages that was somewhat organized. Well my friend, think again! Walk into the mail room and there's packages scattered everywhere. You will likely spend 10-15 minutes sifting through clutter and pushing through everyone else's packages before you actually find yours. Oh yeah, and they leave the door wide open and don't monitor who goes in and out. Harry the homeless man could walk right in the building and take whatever he wants. Never order something somewhat expensive and have it delivered to this building!
I could continue, but I think you get the point. The only joy you will really get out of living here is when you're making fun of the people who operate this building. You'll get a chuckle when you talk to your roommate about the time you saw the grey haired manager (The Ringmaster) smoking cigarettes in the stairwell, right next to the "No Smoking" sign. You'll reminisce about the time you made a noise complaint to security, and they told you to "call the cops", and went back to watching whatever Youtube video they were watching on their phone. If nothing else, future tenants, you will have these cherished memories to laugh at the rest of your life. Good luck to you, dear friends!
I lived at melody for two years The only good thing about the melody is the location. VALLET AND STAFF beyond rude, Furthermore, they entered my apartment without notification or knocking on my door while my 1 year old daughter was playing. I called the police and I did not even get a apology from management. Stay away!!!!
Nice and trendy high-rise located at Downtown Miami. The community here is lovely and it's a safe building. The management does a great job keeping up with the neighbours and the staff, so almost never will you encounter an issue, and if you do Abel Aneiros is your guy. He's been there for us since we moved in, great job!
I am moving into my new apartment today. Not sure what the other folks are saying about them not answering their phones or being rude - my spouse and I have had no trouble thus far in the process. The building was shut down for a few days for fire inspections, perhaps they missed their calls due to this issue. The apartments are beautiful, bright, and up to date with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and the location is up and coming. Great price for what is offered - the pool area is absolutely beautiful and the fitness center has everything you need to get a good workout (coming from a BA in exercise physiology). Cannot wait to be moved in.
This place is good only for its location. The rest is just sad; from the quality of apartments (bathroom tiles falling off, kitchen and laundry appliances never work, elevators never work..) to its management. The garage is horrible, first few floors taken by the valet, so get ready driving up to the 8th floor. The staff at the front desk is very very very rude, never willing to help. After 2 years of living there, paying rent on time, they still thought I work there as a cleaning lady. They lost my extra key and refused to admit their fault (yes, somebody lost a key from my apartment and they refused to replace the lock). The front desk does not have a problem to yell at your face, no matter how much you try to work with them. So if you can take your money elsewhere, I would highly recommend staying away from this place.
Great deal. Building offers so much for such a reasonable rent. Plus management is the best, they know how to keep the property in good shape and the neighbors content.
Very beautiful building, excellent treatment and I am waiting for apartments to come available. Unfortunately they are full, and of course as soon as there are openings I hope you have me. Excellent tour of the building.
Very nice experience overall. The property is well maintained, common areas and amenities are clean and working. And the guys from management where always responsive, especially David Forero, a great person and professional.
I have recommended it to all of my friends looking for an affordable place to live. Have been living here for the past few months and have found it to be everything i was looking for and more. The building is located perfectly in the middle of Miami which allows for a quick drive to Miami Beach, Brickell, wynwood and even north Miami. I cant get enough of the spectacular view from my apartment overlooking the entire city and the new amenities such as the pool and gym. Managers are more than willing to help with anything i need, night time security the only issue i came across but ever since i brought it up to the managers they have taken care of it.
no one picks up the phone or answers the emails. I can't give them a good review. the pictures look good and the web site is very nice, but where are the PEOPLE?
Great customer service! I moved in a few weeks before the COVID-19 outbreak, Jorge Baena was so helpful and attentive during my process of settling in. Management is doing a fine job keeping up with the neighbors concerns and comments. I love the location and apartment, so far my experience has been great.

When I move to Melody Tower in 2016 I realized this was the place where I wanted to live in and now that my lease is about to end, I wont hesitate to renew for another year. Nice building, nice people and very good staff.
Nice building and apartments. Most of the units have lovely views, and the location is super convenient. This last few years the management has done a terrific job upgrading the services and maintaining the property.
I want to give my regards and recognition to David Forero and the rest of the management team. Im new to this building and already I feel at home. It's a great combination of high end apartments and amenities with excellent personal, not only qualified for the work but good people as well.
Living at Melody has given me the ultimate Miami experience. The views of downtown are phenomenal. Wynwood and the performing arts center are right down the street. The management is very helpful and they provide a safe environment for me to work and study at. Very thankful to live here!
My wife and I stopped by Melody tower and Eric Jr was excellent, informative, respectful and with notorious pride! This made us interested in Melody tower so we called the offices. Eric Sr explained us that Melo Group had many properties and that we could stop by for more info. We met Eric Sr today and his customer service is beyond words. We are considering Square Station building now to move in early next year. Thank you Eric Jr and Eric Sr for all the information and excellent explanations. It was a pleasure! You made us feel like home!
I am a current tenant at Melody Towers, and all I can say is that this was the worst decision of my life. I cant wait for my lease to be terminated so I can leave this place. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Management is mainly composed by "recent arrivals" from different countries, who have no idea how to run a residential building. They have zero business ethics. The main office is ten times worse. Nothing gets ever done. The receptionist doesn't speak English, so it takes a while before I can actually speak to someone who understands what I'm saying. The Office Administrator hides behind her subordinates so she doesn't have to deal directly with building issues. The old Argentinian woman in the office, who by the way doesn't speak English either, has a big and nasty mouth. The way this woman spoke to me and some of my neighbors is unreal, She must have forgotten that she eats because we, residents, pay the rent. Please, please, please save your money and go somewhere else. The rent might be a little higher but in the end you will save yourself a lot of trouble by not renting here.
Great apartment complex. Management is very good and responsible, as is the tenant community. No other building in the neighborhood offers so many amenities and space at such an affordable rent.
