Food is excellent as always. 4 stars because our waitress tried to up sell us over 5 different times and was being really pushy about it. I don't like to feel pressured when I go out to dinner. If I want to have one glass of wine don't pressure me in buying a bottle.

This rustic spot in the design district in Miami serves up tasty Mediterranean fare. All the dishes are made with quality ingredients that are combined tastefully. The grilled hallloumi, baked feta, stuffed zucchini and greek salad were all delicious. The only thing that was lack luster was the pita bread, which had good texture but little flavor. Overall though, I really liked the place and will definitely return.

Good choice of Greek and Mediterranean food in South Beach. The dishes are of simple preparation, little elaborated, but with very goid flavor.
The atmosphere is very cozy, since 80% of the tables are located in a beautifully ornate outdoor patio.
The price is quite reasonable in relation to the other restaurants in the area.

Greek food here - super tasty. I will probably become a regular. The bill was good for what you get. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.

They are very friendly and the stuff did a perfect job they served us very fast and the food was delicious. The thing I like it that they changed our plates when we finish the food and bring us another clean plate !

Service was super slow. I think only one person was working. It took about 15 mins to get 2 sandwiches and a soda.

Went here twice in a week for lunch. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. Loved the outside seating . Over all a really nice place to visit and great value for money. Definitely try the chicken kebab and the baklava for desert. This place was recommended to us and it was a very good decision to visit this place. Service was good, the place was beautiful and the food was excellent! Highly recommended to make a reservation in advance for they are always fully booked, we waited for 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth the wait. We'll be back for sure!

Poor service, I walked in places semi crowded I'm giving a seat at a four top cuz there's no two two tops it's a blank table for people come in sitting next to me that are about 80 years old dressed in golf attire immediately the same prep person wipes to table puts all the settings in place and right behind him comes the menu guy brings them some bread and I'm sitting there like a dope watching this and then they black tournament looks over at me and says he brings me a napkin that he refolds from another table puts it on my table from a dirty table and I get up and as I'm walking to the front to formally let him know that I'm doing a review the waiter comes over like he's going to wait on me while I'm standing at the counter I do enough to know that if you're not going to recognize the customer and you're going for quantity vs quality then I can't be bothered.... I will know for the gyro that I was going there to eat for my review with a glass of wine or Mediterranean style beer you have to pay $5 to park in their lot and $11 for the sandwich go figure what makes sense that makes because there's no parking in the area you combine that with the Fantastic service I was just read it with and it's I might as well go eat a hamburger somewhere for the same price and not have to pay for parking...

This is is my first wonderful dining experience. They have the best food and hospitality I have ever had in my entire life. Customer service is mind-blowing and that is something that I haven't experienced in my previous visited restaurant. The ambiance and the setting arrangement were also great. I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely coming back here.

This was more than a meal, it was a traveling dining experience. I felt exactly like I was back sitting near the Aegean Sea enjoying the best flavors of food I had once before enjoyed. I recommend making reservations (only for the reason that it will ensure you are seated as soon as possible), but the wait was not bad (30 minutes arriving at 3 pm on a Saturday). Comfortable seating is offered while waiting.

The hostesses were friendly with smiles and actively worked to seat guests quickly. Our orders were taken just as we sat down. We asked for recommendations which turned out what we have been searching for in this area. All waiters/waitresses were also smiling as they provided excellent service. Before I could say, Can I get.. The waitress knew what I was going to ask and immediately answered without hesitation. It is apparent that the operational management/ownership support and train their staff very well.

I give the service was a 10/10.

The food was incredibly fresh and masterfully prepared. We ordered the Turkish mezze, Baked Feta Cheese (amazing), Mussels (delicious), and the Beef/Lamb Kebab (perfect mix of spices). It was very obvious from the taste of bread that it was homemade. The food was a 10/10.

Great food. Pricey. Service is good but careful because they will take the plates before you finish!

First time here, the menu has many delicious items. I started with mussels and octopus to start - very tasty and the octopus was tender. Also tried the spicy mandolin kebab The portion was very large. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was nice. The only real issue was parking--we ended up paying for parking. We will do this again

I like the spicy mandolin kebab. It's really good with a pitcher of sangria.

The food and service were superb! I enjoyed the chicken kebabs and would certainly return to sample other favorites.

We found hair in both of our meals. I went over to this place for lunch with my sister and we almost threw up on top of our food. These are some pictures of the second plate where we found the hairs. The first plate had even more hair and it was discussing. We immediately left the place. What a terrible experience and low higiene. I wouldn t recommend it to anybody after what happened.

A superb dining experience! The food is delicious and the staff is amazing that makes you feel right at home. Everything about this restaurant is exquisite. I can t say enough good things about this place. Visit this place and you won't be disappointed. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know.

Nice outdoor dining area that is covered with fans to cool off as best as they can in the heat. Had lunch here and ordered the octopus which was excellent. The lamb burger was ok. Service was average. The restaurant also allows smoking so that is a big drawback.

Excellent for vegeterians. Zucchini was delicious. Eggplant dish and salad super fresh.

Delicious homemade Greek food. Beautiful and relaxing outdoor patio dining area with big shade trees and fans to keep customers cool. Would dine there again if able to next time I'm in town.

Hands down probably the BEST food i have eaten in a while. Everything on the menu was delicious. Def try their kofta kabab sandwich and dumplings.

We came on a Friday night for a 9:30 reservation and we were exactly 23 minutes late. However, they refused to give us outdoor seating

I will say, there are not many tables outside for two. She told us we could wait "a few minutes" for the next table. When I asked her to specify, a few minutes meant 30 minutes. We opted to sit inside instead- which is very small; albeit cozy.

The Food:

The shaved Brussels sprout salad was so delicious I was shoveling it in my mouth and didn't come up for air. The Greek sampler was incredible. But, I wish they told you it doesn't come with bread or vegetables. I was embarrassed that I kept asking for more house bread and ordering pita to dip. The eggplant dip was the real showstopper.

The patties and the tzatziki were amazing too. Mandolin hands down has the most authentic Greek food in Miami and I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town.

This was my first time here and I wasn't it expecting it to be so cute and nice inside. Very much enjoyed their food and their service was quality. Definitely deserves more attention

This is Greek-Turkish food restaurant. Broke glass- dangerous- next to my 80 year old relatives' hands as soon as we sat. I was unfamiliar with Barrel Fish so did not order it. Opted for the Moussaka. Yummy moussaka. The Saganski (cheese) appetizer was exquisite. Sangria, with Rose Water in it and garnished with diced apples, was absolutely exquisite. Yummy galaktoboureko & baklava Desserts. The employees from the Hostess, Sydney, right down to our server are very Hospitable. Hospitality as it should be. Parking lot on the Corner charges $5.00 to move your car to parking garage.

This place was a nice place to do vacation trips and chill out. They did work with seafood well and the place was very quaint. I really felt comfortable compared to other places. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! Thank you so much to all of you.

Good food, good environment. They allow you to smoke cigarettes and they do not allow you to smoke cigarillo. And the manager is very rude in that purpose. It smells the same and same amount of smoke. No need to be rude.

Came here on a week day around 5.30 without a reservation asked for a table for 2. The restaurant was completely empty, only 3-4 tables were seated. The hostess said it will be 30 min wait without clear explanation why. We went outside of the restaurant and called them asking to reserve table for two. To our surprise they said come on in and they can seat us right the way. So we went back and just stood there waiting to see what happens. A server approached us asking if we need a table and said that he can sit us right the way. By the time we got to the table hostess stopped us by saying we cannot sit down and have to wait. She said the kitchen is backed up in the EMPTY RESTAURANT. I told her we don t mind to sit at the table and have a drink first before ordering food, she said no. Very confused and frustrated we just left. We are from miami and I really like this restaurant but I wish they had more organized system.

I was on a business trip in Miami with several colleagues for 5 days we had tried a number of restaurants that were just OK. But then we heard about Mandolin a Mediterranean Restaurant in the Design District. The food was amazing. I had tried Calamari and Turkish Meatballs for appetizers that we shared and Lamb Chops for an entree and every thing was delicious. A Beautiful outdoor dining space and the service was awesome Nadia our server as well as the rest of the staff where supper friendly and extremely attentive. If you like Mediterranean food you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended as on of my new favorites.

The tables are outdoors in a very pleasant environment. The service is attentive, the dishes we ordered were excellent (the starter octopus deserves mention) and the price is not expensive.

For entree I got the lamb chops and my friend got the beef souvlaki again I could not finish it all because I was already full from the appetizer. And my friend really enjoyed his entree but his fries did have a lot of salt, that was his only criticism but the fries were so goood, he just added ketchup to balance the saltiness. Our waitress was very genuinely nice and attentive. We will definitely be coming back and I'll make sure to capture the delicious food by taking pics

The food was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. The vibe was incredibly authentic. But the most extravagant part of our experience here was our server. Chris was outstanding. His energy was beautiful, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I have never experienced such a delightful one as I did tonight. Thank you- we will be back:))

Good food, great time. Had the blueberry lemonade, pear cider, octupus, and whole snapper with arugula, all delicious. Only downside is they only have 2 restrooms. Regardless, I highly recommend for a meal with family or friends.

Wow!!! This doesn't feel like Miami! The vibe and atmosphere takes me straight back to Greece. It is so beautiful and the food is even better! Everything here is delicious. I'm a vegetarian, and I recommend the dips, the salads, the feta cheese, the halloumi, sometimes they'll make vegetarian gyros etc.

The worst of the worst of the worst! You'd think you were at the Forge with the type of selection system they have going there. The manager, a blonde, uneducated, impolite (not to mention the terrible attire and unkempt hair) was the rudest of the rudest of the rudest hired help I have ever come across. She wanted to seat us at a table in the corner that my dog would not feel comfortable sitting at. It was cramped and desolate and most uncomfortable. We asked to sit at another table, the waitress said yes absolutely sit here. We did. This rude and most unattractive (personality) blonde hostess/manager came and made us get up from the table. I was irrate! She said it was for reservations only (no sign by the way). I told her absolutely not, this was not right. She said no you need to get up. I said to her but you and the waitress told us to sit here, she said, "sorry, it was a mistake." She proceeded to say, " I offered you the table in the corner." Mind you this table would not be large enough for two glasses of wine, water and one entree plate, let alone two plates. She was disgusting and rude in her behavior. NO BRAINS! Instead, she could have offered us a glass of wine on the house, and could have said please give me 10 minutes to find you another table. She lied about the reservation table! She proceeded to put two people at the table that came after us and were waiting in line next to us. Disgusting experience. I will never be back. Rater drive to Hollywood and eat at Opa, much better and fresher authentic Greek food. I ate at Mandolina a year ago, my friend who brought me there swore by this place.I will meet her this weekend and make sure that she too never returns to this place.

The stars do not reach me. The food is hyper tasty rich plentiful. The attention of the reception the waiters and girls is impeccable always a smile ready to explain and solve any inconvenience. The place is beautiful especially the patio with those orchids. Very recommendable and very reasonable prices

It was a beautiful day. We sat outside for lunch, not on the street walk. The food was very good. We ate small plates and shared. Would go back there again.
