Nice park with various activities.
Small functional bungalows that are equipped with the essentials.
Unfortunately, the additional offers are very expensive.
And the fact that you should try to save water is all the more consumed in the associated swimming pool.
All in all, it's okay.

We have a good time. We had booked an apartment. It is a very beautiful park. Something to do for every age group.

Come to centerparcs het heijderbos from a very young age. But the last visit was so disappointing. We knew of course that there would be measures because of the corona. But after calling several times about the conditions for swimming, we received no information. We were only told the conditions you will get on arrival. Then after a lot of effort finally heard. That we can swim at least 2x for a midweek. Then when we arrive we are told that the minimum is actually the maximum number of x swimming. as soon as we indicate at the reception that we are surprised about this and ask why this information is not given when you ask for it by telephone. Then you get the answer you should have rebooked you had enough time for it. Then there is a time block of 1.5 hours where you are already at least half an hour to enter. A whole part is also closed off in the pool.

The cottage on arrival was incredibly dirty. Cookies between the couch, spiders and cobwebs in every corner and on the walls. The floor seemed as if a bucket of water had been emptied, it was wet for at least 3 hours after entering the house. And that for a VIP house. During dinner we were stuck to the tables. And after we asked for a cloth, nothing could be done about it, because the tables were affected by the disinfection. (a cloth over the table and the problem was solved). It was also very difficult to find a place at all to possibly eat something or have a drink.

Apart from the cycle center, the staff was not to be enjoyed. Was snarled and reacted gruffly. Almost 1200 spent for a midweek. And badly left a day earlier because of how badly regulated it is in the corona time. And for all the problems that arose at the Park, we received compensation with a cup of coffee, tea or soft drink and an apple cake.

Very nice place for vacation especially with family. The most services are good for the children and the rest of the family but some things are very questionable. For example there are no security cameras in the supermarket above the Kass. The reception when we asked for official documentation of an incident at first they tried to fool us and then thy wrote in hollandisch. For us was absolutely unacceptable that they stood above every customer law and right and through the direction no existence of an official apology their site.

We recently visited the parc.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed about it. The bungalows are very dirty, the outdoor area is infested with nettles etc. (ideal for children). Dying wood in the trees, leaves from last year.
The prices are way too overpriced in my opinion.
Here you really notice that it should only be a money printing machine, a shame.

Nice park! The jungle dome is really super beautiful, highly recommended.

Food at the snack bar and grand cafe were unfortunately disappointing, there are also no flyers to look through so that you know what there is to do in center parcs itself .. very sorry that the app is needed for everything! Furthermore, there were no pans in the house only lids, the hairdryer was broken, lacked cutlery and so on. For the money you paid for it, I really expected something more!

Ok stay .. little better !!
A center park especially dedicated to children which can be penalizing for adults. A clean but dated premium cottage for 2 people. Well appointed but the bedroom area is not worthy of a center park: aged carpet, perforated curtains, completely bedding stoned (we sleep in bowls !! Back pain refrain !!), awful decor ... broken TV signaled but not changed ...
too bad because it would take little for it to be nice ..
Nothing is written in French and no one is French-speaking and even at the reception English is not mastered .. luckily the servers are friendly and willing !!!
Note a decent dome but to flee on weekends because stormed by locals who come to settle there for the day .. and leave no room for others .. impossible to find a chair to put down your things !! limit the entries so that it is viable !!
One day we even saw whole school buses arrive for the day: help !!!
In short, a decent stay but which remains expensive / in terms of services and far from what the French or Belgian park centers offer in terms of "luxury" despite a very high price.

A modern, cozy and clean house. Fresh bread rolls delivered to the door every morning and different rolls well varied every day. Due to Corona the swimming was shortened several times that we had no knowledge of, here could have been better communicated so that we could have used the full swarm time. Furthermore, a great park to more fun Center Parcs experiences!

Unfortunately, this park did not surprise us in a positive way. Poor information on arrival (important information such as map not received). The car cannot be parked at the accommodation. The result is a 20-minute walk from the car to the bungalow. Parking car also a drama. With difficulty finding a parking space. The food at the park is very bad. Ordered pizza but unfortunately little pizza could be recognized by this. A pizza should be round and not octagonal. At Pizza shawarma you get a piece of bread with something similar to (frozen) chicken fillet. The cottages are very outdated but clean. The heating is one with a manual (or just defective?) In the morning the switch quickly set to 20 degrees to get some temperature in the house again after a very cold night (apparently the heating switches off completely at night). The heating is switched on with luck or if you are unlucky a reset is sufficient. Regarding baby swimming, the agreed time is unfortunately not met and the bath water was too cold for the babies. All in all quite disappointed in the park. The above points could really be better ..

I love this park .. an absolute experience for families or couples.

Typical, attractive Centre Parcs forested layout. Only visited for day at Aquadome - great rapids.
TIP: if you are considering doing the Jungle run area, buy it at the time of getting your aquadome ticket as it is about Euro 2 extra instead of the normal E9.50. This area has a great run around for the kids with a nice cafe for the adults.

The old houses can really not much at center parks. we will probably go back for a few days to a center park but only for a modernized house and a 50% discount on the main price. There is now so much more competition that do better

The park is really very varied. Great is the Jungle Dome and the wide range of activities. In terms of price, Het Heijderbos is the cheapest of all 5 Birdy Parks. That's probably because it's one of the oldest. But he is still very beautiful.

The houses are very old and if it has rained it is best to walk a bit on a path full of blubber to get to your house. Not handy for people who have difficulty walking and you can throw your shoes away at the end of the week. If you go, you pay six euros in parking fees while there is hardly any parking space available. The pool is fun for older children, the whitewater course goes so fast that they were all covered in bruises.

Relax away from the concrete jungle, fire on and chill

Good Park had been there 20 years before and must still say just as happy .. Super much to do the jungle dome and and the aquamundo my Kids think we have enjoyed
This time we had a premium house and that is already an improvement when it comes to cleaning
2 minus points were that a number of things were defective in the game hall, this was also the case with the hovercraft bumper cars.

Lighting along the roads is also pitch dark. Evergreens all you can eat is just not worthy. This also reported to the manager on the spot. Resolved by booking other restaurants for the next day.

The park as such has many great opportunities for children and has much more to offer in this regard than the park on Bostalsee.
The prices for these activities are also quite reasonable and sometimes you get quite a lot here, especially at the events in the kids club which we noticed particularly positive.
Also noteworthy are the AquaMundo and the Jungle Dome. The latter is a large indoor playground in jungle optics with exotic animals, shallow streams, climbing, waterfall, caves etc ..
Also the AquaMundo is really great, which also impresses with the jungle look and has a wild water slide which is intensively observed by lifeguards. In addition, it offers something for every age. A highlight was the outdoor pool which had underwater aquariums and you could watch with appropriate diving goggles and fish.

So why only 3 stars? This is partly due to the gastronomy and the other on the property. We had a VIP Bungalow (# 455) near the center which was the right choice for the location, but this was the only positive. Because it stank pretty much in the bungalow. Already on entering it smelled pretty musty though all windows were open. The sofa set stank of cigarette smoke, the room behind the kitchen, in which the children slept, smelled when it was closed Moist / Modrig and if you forgot to close the door to the hall, on which the toilet was, then it smelled everything after drain / toilet.
The first days the bread service came quite late, around 8: 30-8: 40 clock, which also led to the fact that we could not have breakfast because the first activity of the children has already started at 9 clock. But this had improved significantly, as we had complained. This was relatively easy to do via WhatsApp.

The food or the food are unfortunately a disaster. We tried every restaurant and what you have to say is that you can not get acceptable quality for the high prices. Even a pizza in Nonna restaurant is not edible and was left by the kids left. We assume that an unsuitable type of cheese was used which gave the pizza an unpleasant odor and was rather greasy.

As a result, after just one week, we were really looking forward to our home. Conclusion: For a long weekend a good choice, also because we only need about 30 minutes to get there.

Nice in itself ... but not exactly child friendly. Everything was incredibly expensive. 2 persons buffet almost 60 !!! Everything has to be paid except the swimming pool is free. Beautiful pictures were taken by us, but for 60 pictures 250 !!!! Of course, that will only be said when they are finished. Once and never again ... I can only advise against it

Our (5 pers) visit was from 17-19 December 2018.

I liked the following:
+ free WiFi
+ easy check in
+ no accommodation deposit
+ free life jacket rental in Aqua Mundo and great pools for toddlers

I didn't like:
- many closed restaurants
- Additional costs in the children's play area
- Too many chargeable gripper arm play sets
- expensive restaurants

And I found the cleanliness in the apartment really bad. 80s establishment and really dirty and odorous.

It's a shame - but I hope that it will be better in summer and that the apartments will be thoroughly cleaned.

Nice park with sufficient facilities. House outdated but absolutely clean. We had house 442 which has a nice location close to the facilities and the backyard is wooded. That ensures that you have a wonderful holiday feeling and some privacy, but the sun worshiper is not satisfied. I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but I am not used to going on holiday in my own country in the high season.

I had read many bad revieuws, so I went there with a feeling. Once arrived everything looked great and everything was very clean! We had a premium house with his 2nd and the beds were good and there was a better couch than in the pictures. we did have a problem that our door lock was broken and so we could not get in and out of the house. We had called twice and then they came to deploy a whole new slot. We had a super fun and nice weekend here. We love to come back again! I quickly get dirty from things (houses, hygiene) but this didn't bother me!

The Aqua Mundo is beautiful, but beautifully decorated. But, everything is said with that.
The lifeguards are not really involved with the people in and around the water. The catering staff, however, is. Strange distribution.
Besides the family slide, Heijderbos only has 1 other indoor track, although most Centerparcs have 2.
The family slide is incredibly fast, perhaps too intense for some, but the dangerous thing is that it ends in the middle of a current of the fierce white water course. It creates a lot of collisions, which is especially dangerous for children.
The whitewater course is, as I wrote, quite intense but there are several possibilities to get out prematurely. I have never survived this one without multiple bruises on legs and arms! Maybe a little too ...?
Unfortunately there is not much fun for children to do other than sliding, a water playhouse would have been in place. There are now some stray devices in the corners of the pool for the really little ones.
The outdoor pool is beautiful, there is a waterfall, there are couches, a cold bath and the start of the whitewater course and above all there is a beautiful meadow where you can rest in the grass

It was a great time spent here with my friends. We were in a Premium cottage with two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with a bunk bed. Bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub. The toilet is located separately for good luck. The cell has a high chair for small children, a dryer for the terrace and a cot.
The kitchen is quite well stocked and equipped, namely: a small fridge with a small dish, dishwasher, gas hob, extractor, microwave, toaster, coffee coffe-maker (you have to have your own filters), a cappuccino probably Dolce, something like that kind and there are probably 5 caps and a kettle. In the cabinets you will find 8 plates of each type, salad bowls and such small desserts (for ice cream). Glasses about 20 pieces, about 8 cups and 8 wine glasses. Measuring cup, 3 pots of different caliber and a frying pan, juice extractor, colander, grater, knives, ladle, corkscrew, cutlery (a bit like the four of us, at the same time enough for the next time you had to wash or almost empty dishwasher) ). We got such a box with 3 tbs of dishwasher, a sponge for dishes, 2 graters and 2 kitchen towels. We had to buy liquid for the dishes ourselves, a useful foil for covering uneaten leftovers, air freshener to the toilet, because the ventilation is poor, an additional kitchen towel. Although some of the pictures also show towels, we did not have so it probably depends on the standard of the cottage. So it's best to take it to the bathroom and the pool separately. The cottage was not somehow dirty or not cleaned, as some people write.

Nice park in a wooded area. However, the houses are very outdated and poorly maintained.
The houses are badly cleaned. Lots of dust everywhere and no clean dishes.
The park has a lot to offer, but an outdoor swimming area would not be wrong. Especially at warm temperatures.
Parking is not possible at the houses, which is not wrong, only you have to park in a parking lot now, which is a nice walk from the holiday home.

Other facilities in the park are very nice. Cottages have a lot of privacy in a beautiful and quiet environment.
Staff are very friendly throughout the park.

Unfortunately absolutely disgusting!

My wife and I stayed in a bungalow for 4 days with two friends, this bungalow was a mess!
The carpets were strewn with dust, the ceilings and curtains were full of cobwebs, some of which had already accumulated layers of dust.
To make matters worse, the absolute climax came when we found a diaper from the previous owners under one of the beds. When we complained to the front desk, 2 people came to clean, but they only disposed of the diaper, the rest looked like before.

Once and never again is the motto here.

Expensive wifi, medium friendly staff and should have been renovated years ago. Next time we will look for something else.

We stayed at another center park last year and loved it. At that time he had 4 stars (birdies). So far I haven't rated any whereabouts, but this short break at Center Park Het Heijderbos got me to do it. I cannot understand the good rating for this park, I was blinded by this when choosing a park. I should have read the individual reviews, because I can only confirm the negative reviews. We are in Center Park Het Heijderbos right now, I've never lived in such an old house. Inventory worn out and everything very old and uninviting. The houses urgently need renovation. Price and performance are not right here in the park. We have been to various center parks and other parks many times, but when choosing a premium holiday home we had never received such a bad house. Personally, I am not thrilled that the sink is not next to the toilet, but has to be walked halfway through the house. Across the hall, past the kitchen, is the bathroom with two sinks so that you can wash your hands after using the toilet.

We (luckily) only booked a midweek from Monday to Wednesday. The choice of leisure activities fits, but does not justify the price. The son was looking forward to the Indoor Jungle Dome so much, but it is closed on Mondays. That is why we went to the swimming pool, which is also in need of renovation in the changing area. I was speechless about the cleanliness in the changing area, the remainder of a pad stuck to the ceiling and chewing gum residue in the corners. For this I try to upload a photo. We would have loved to go again. But since everything was clean in the swimming area itself, we stayed. We liked the water slides there.

We will not visit this Center Park again.

Not nice. Accommodation nowhere near as described. Wanted on the water the house for fishing as in the promotional video had extra 35 euros to pay more and the house we got was in the middle of the forest and the promised water therefore was a stinking inaccessible pool. See photo.

Centerparcs is really dated. Rented house 412 for a week, it was downright nasty. From bathroom to toilet, I didn't dare let my daughter walk barefoot through the house. Never go to center parcs again.

Nice park but the activities are way too expensive! Very poorly maintained bungalows.

The bungalows need a general overhaul ... as well as the interior. We even lacked a simple salad bowl. The beds are very worn, the terrace was not clean and had several stumbling blocks.

Old houses, dirty stains on carpet, smelly toilet / sewer, yellowish duvets ... Very disappointed.

Old houses from 1983 are rented out for 1500 euros a week. The paint is peeling off the ceiling and the sofa is worn out. But the children are having a good time in the swimming paradise.

The condition of the houses is in need of improvement. The prices are borderline, sometimes - from my point of view - inappropriately high. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Jungle Cathedral is great. The swimming pool with the slides is great, provided you can endure the noise with the shouting permanently. My conclusion: very nice, expensive and I expected more of it.

We only give a star for the location.
The rest was a disaster. So much money paid for such a disgusting house, under all hell. I rented a children's house especially for us and what I found there was a dirty, shabby house. The high chair where my 8 month old baby was supposed to sit was so dirty. And that was more than older filth. The cot and mattress so disgusting and musty. Center Parc should be ashamed. The whole house was sick. We left 3 days beforehand because my whole body was itching with disgust. Sorry about all the money we paid for this vacation.
First I had to wash every pot, fork, etc. because everything still had leftovers.
And then the cheek to take so much money for every single activity.

In the holiday park there is much to do for children and adults and you see in nature what is very beautiful and peaceful. But the houses lack a lot of things to cook and very old-fashioned because you cannot cook properly on the gas stove.

Rooms are not clean. You have to pay for everything except the Aquadome and Jungledome.

Jungle and Aqua Dome are super, the comfort houses are quite outdated. (poor furniture)
Service in the restaurants is reasonable, long wait for service.

Center Parcs has always had a good reputation for us. Nice parks with many activities in the park, nice houses and the possibility to really get away for a while.
Unfortunately, the Heijderbos is dating. The houses are old (and our house was not cleaned properly, they did come immediately that day extra cleaning: excellent service) and may need an update. There is also room for improvement in terms of sustainability. Cooking on gas, a very old-fashioned thermostat that does not register whether you are there and no possibility to separate your waste.

Most Center Parcs parks are set up in such a way that you can drive around, which prevents congestion. The Heijderbos does not have this, so it can be quite a traffic chaos on arrival and departure day. The hiking trails are also in need of a new layer of gravel / pavement to prevent mud and puddles when it is wet.

The AquaMundo has a nice baby bath and a separate nice toddler bath. Unfortunately, it is difficult to supervise these days due to the design of the toddler pool.
There are many fun activities in the park, also for very young children. An addition of an indoor arcade / playground for small children (0-5 years) would make it perfect.
The people at the park were very friendly and helpful, which is a real plus for Center Parcs. The restaurants were good and cozy.
We had a wonderful week and enjoyed our holiday. But next time choose a different Center Parcs park.

But due to the corona crisis, the pool was closed which was a real disappointment. The contact at the reception was also very impersonal. Key in a letterbox instead of checking out personally, for example.

Spacious park, thank goodness we had our bikes with us, but you can also borrow them on site.
There are three of us in a comfort holiday home in a quiet location. House and inventory very shabby and musty.
No oven in the kitchen, you are forced to buy bread rolls on site. No pizza in the oven or similar in the evening.
The toilet and bathroom are separate. After using the toilet you have to run into the bathroom to wash your hands.
Restaurants aren't exactly cheap either. You can't understand if you go on vacation here with children and, in addition to the overpriced accommodation, the restaurants are so expensive.
Aquamundo is great.
Other activities can also be booked and paid for.
If you have children over the age of 12 with you, it quickly gets boring, because there are hardly any activities for big ones.
We booked a kitchen package, but you have to buy detergent separately, what a logic ...
There is a clothes horse, but no clamps.

In principle I am a big fan of Center Parks but everything here is very shabby or poorly maintained / serviced, but I don't see everything with children's eyes I think my son has great fun here!

The entire Centerparcs experience was fine, there are plenty of activities for the kids and that is definitely worth it. Hygiene was hard to find in the market dome, chip shop and in the house. Lots of dead bugs, cobwebs, dirty floor, etc.

Very good for kids in all ages, the activities for the kids are nice but in August must reserve upfront. All the activities are very expensive for non Euro visitors. The standard of the rooms (VIP) is ridiculous, the village does not provide toilet paper once it runs out... no room cleaning, the cost effectiveness is medium. Same for all Netherlands very pricey other countries provide much better cost effectiveness.

I have booked a house at center parcs Heijderbos. I explicitly asked if there is a decent wifi connection to be able to play online. They promised to deliver this but now it appears that the connection is only 8mbit while you need 25mbit to play online. Even the 4g network of my phone is 4 times faster than this.

There is not enough investment in the guests' welfare in the simple holiday homes. Unfortunately, the focus has been shifted towards additional sales to the holidaymakers. Have come here since the kids were small.

Top park! Super aquamundo, friendly staff, good food and always pleasant.
