With mixed feelings. On the one hand the well-known feeling of being away with your family, but now with grandchildren. Mission because they are the same houses, but now 30 years older. Broken tiles on the wall, if the CV is, no one sleeps more and because the ladies cleaning get 13 minutes and 15 seconds per house to clean is not clean. Even more, toilet rolls and paper of the previous occupant of the house and it smells like there dwells an incontinent Grandma. So that.

The accommodation is a bit older, but overall functional. Super Aqua Dome! Well booked, fast full restaurants (unfortunately high priced), nevertheless relaxed atmosphere. Still neat mosquitoes in the fall on the way - how will that be until midsummer? Lies in the middle of the forest and there are many stagnant waters / ponds. Almost every leisure activity costs additional money

The house was not cleaned clean on arrival, and is in need of renovation. One evening when we came back from a shopping trip around 10:30 pm, they did not let us drive to the house. The sleeping children in the car we had to wake up and we had to lug all the bags. Discussing everything at the barrier did not help. Such a bad service I have never experienced. It's the second time I've been in this park and the last time. A pity, but apparently they do not have to worry about the customer ...

Light and shade .... Professional handling from E check in to contactless check out. The facility is located in the green and ensures a pleasant deceleration. The half board offer can match a 3 star hotel. For parents with kids, the park offers many recreational opportunities. Aberrrrrr ...... The cleanliness is not dirt, filth, ancient cobwebs, high renovation traffic everywhere. Everything was getting old and verhunzt.Nur the Vip bungalows made a decent impression. Of the comfort and premium bungalows I can only Guess. Price is underground. We had with 4 people costs over 1000 euros in 2 days. Premium bungalow, half board, various activities and other catering on site. From the perspective of the company but everything was done right. Maximum profit at the lowest cost. As long as the customers would continue despite bad reviews I also invest nothing

The trip had to be canceled in March due to covid19. A refund has not yet been made after 9 months. Three months ago, reimbursement was promised after about 6 weeks. There is no response to inquiries whether information is missing.

Service in case of problems is super and fast. Duvets are too thin for the winter period, because the bedrooms are very cold. Take-away is very expensive and will not be delivered. If you are a 15min walk from the restaurant like us, it is not an option at -8 degrees.

We were with you for a weekend away with my in-laws. In total with 12 men, 7 adults and 5 children. I just want to announce that the stay was good for the rest .. only on the last night we all went out to dinner at your all you can eat restaurant in the plaza .. we got it right there on the evening itself meaning .. all back home we came home from a cold fair ... I think the food we ate was not good or bad temperature !! .. with my family we spent the entire evening above the toilet. 3 people including a daughter of 1.5 years .. and with my sister in law another two people ... I suspect the food at your restaurant .. this was a nasty end to a good weekend with you ..

We stayed for a week in a comfort holiday home for 6 people.
The system is getting on in years. Our children still had a lot of fun there, the swimming pool is great and the activities, which are best booked in advance, were good.
The biggest disadvantage is the condition and cleanliness of the house! It was very dirty and musty. Animal hair on the mattresses, endless dust, the old carpets totally dirty and that for 1000 euros a week. Absolutely overpriced. People with house dust allergies have no business there.
Found suspicious bites on the children's body, hope they aren't bed bugs.
In any case, we will not go back for the money you can go to the swimming pool at home.

We had booked a premium cottage for a weekend, the cottage was kept very clean. Dirty broken floors, sweets came from beneath the benches given the layer of dust and mold had been there for a few months. Mattresses were all sagged. Dolci coffee machine did not work, dishwasher did it occasionally. The floor covering in the bedrooms was covered with stains. In 1 of the bedrooms the stucco came off the walls. The radiator in the bathroom has probably not been bled for so long that more air than water ran through it. The cottages are really unworthy of centerparcs, the swimming pool is very nice and we spent the most time here. Minus point was also that the jungle and the kids factory are closed on Mondays, the result is that you cannot use everything as is said. (It is in the brochure under the small print section) Too bad because the park has the potential to be very nice ..

House looked nice from the outside. That was it! On the inside, everything was dirty, the windows to the walls. The room was also not been run, so it was very humid inside. We got sick too. Bah. But nice staff who came to clean things after we called

Park has a beautiful location, close to Germany and in a beautiful part of northern Limburg. Close to the river Maas and close to cities such as Nijmegen (very nice center) and nice places to relax, Plasmolen is definitely worth a visit. At the park itself, certainly a lot to do in the summer. Parkplaza is disappointing when it comes to the hospitality industry, expensive and low quality for prices that you ask yourself if they know what they are doing. On average 20 percent more expensive than other occasions and for example you pay 11 euros for a drink garnish which comes directly from the supermarket of the cheapest quality, and then even half a portion from the box, sandwich croquette 7.50 with stale bread. S. evening a fries and hamburger made of cardboard for 2 people 18 euros. There is certainly room for improvement. The cottages, despite some dated pretty good, although there is certainly something wet can be done to combat mold. The staff is nothing to complain about, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, except those who work in the kitchens, they can still use a refresher course.

The center and activities are great. Unfortunately, most of them come with a surcharge - but we know that now.

The Comfort and Premium bungalows are really very shabby. We were initially in a comfort bungalow, but it was so shabby and shabby (and that doesn't just mean the many insects) that we couldn't let our children sleep there with a clear conscience. Fortunately, after a hefty complaint, we were able to move and from there we lived in a premium category bungalow. It was better there, lighter and friendlier. Nevertheless, it is worn and the bathroom is simply no longer up-to-date. No water pressure and much too narrow a bathtub for showering. And lots and lots of spiders. Insect screens would be really attached there in the middle of the forest.

Swimming pool was great and the food at the Italian was really excellent and reasonably priced.

Our tip: Be sure to visit the park and if you can somehow afford it, take a VIP bungalow. Premium is somehow also possible, but you should definitely keep your hands off Comfort. In addition, the park is very spacious and you really have to walk forever in the cheaper bungalows.

Very basic accomodation, houses in bad shape with outdated furniture. Long queue times on arrival, couldn't enter our house for 2 hours after appointed time. Very cheap though, good view from our bedroom, the pools are also nice.

Just great for a holiday.
Our little girl (2 years old) was thrilled. And even adults do not get bored.
If you are looking for entertainment, action or peace: everything is taken care of!

We are here for the 7th time. The equipment of the VIP houses is great. Whirlpool, sauna.
The cleanliness gets 4 out of 5 stars.
The park and swimming pool are great.
Eating out in the restaurants is expensive and just okay.
Everything you need is available in the super-equipped supermarket. Everyone there is very friendly and the prices are okay.
The problem solving in the event of a power failure was outstanding. (Caused by our teenage boy)
Super friendly staff who were at the house in 5 minutes.
We'll keep coming back.

Center Parcs is always a great place to go with children. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bungalows are always great, but they are never completely clean. You must be able to see through that. The Pret show is great and the children experience a great evening there. Dining out is expensive in terms of price / quality ratio.

Actually, we would have to give even less, if not minus, stars. The accommodation was very nice in the years very old. The rooms always had a certain basic humidity, after which everything smelled. And unfortunately we had to clean because the cleaning crew obviously not very good. Here we have found thick dark black dust pads, as well as many dead like living spiders. Unfortunately, we have NEVER received any feedback on our complaint, except for a mail with the content, thank you for your feedback.

We went to Heijderbos with worry after reading the bad reviews. But we could be taught better. Our house was very nice. Everything clean and tidy. The park itself is very beautiful, even in the cold season. There is a lot to offer, but it has to be paid well. The Aqua mundo and the jungle are awesome. Had a lot of fun. A trip over the weekend is definitely worth it. We booked breakfast as a buffet and it was very tasty and nothing was missing.

All in all, our short break was great (4 adults, 2 children), aaaaber: I personally was a bit disappointed with the "Aqua Mundo", I have for the MANY guests much larger presented! Since you can eat + drink in it, that is, could remain theoretical throughout the day, I would have liked beach chairs or the like; certainly more comfortable than these plastic chairs, which are close together. Fat minus point; just like the water slides, the m.M. after all are not suitable for children who can not swim yet, even together with the parents. Naturally, my six-year-olds do not want to go on the baby slide anymore.
You also see when booking, how old the kids are- you would not have to give us a bungalow that is SO far away from everything. The Jungle Dome is great. Otherwise I think everything is quite expensive (2 adults, 2 children 1 game of miniature golf = 21 ).
We had booked half board: the buffets in the morning & evening were fantastic; a lot of choice, and it was always refilled quickly. I do not think we'll go back, though it was nice overall.

Make frequent holidays in Center Parc. This park remains in our minds because it is the only one in which one constantly hears the almost running off the highway outside the house. Otherwise, this park is not recommended. The big highlight is the jungle dome. Mainly because of this the park has not been a complete flop.

Already on arrival ... dirty accommodation, sticky floor in the kitchen area. Devices gather dust. Missing booked options, and thus endless waiting in the accommodation.
The faucet is defective on top of it as a dot. Did you not notice this while cleaning? So the not small amount of water that escapes? So it seems reasonable to assume that nobody was here.
Sad!
The condition of the house? Inadequate. Every single corner is smacked. All furniture with quirks and defects. The walls with marks of not having seen any fresh paint for many years. A room smells like someone has died or water is falling in it.

The house was very dirty on arrival and smelled of mold.
High chair had to be rinsed first because it was so dirty.
Chimney side window defective.
No fire alarm, only a holder.

Tables stuck and all in all very old and neglected.
Eating and drinking 30% more expensive than normal.

The small ponds with rotten water caused a lot of mosquitoes

Otherwise everything was fine, a paradise for children.

The cottage is cozy and cozy, you have 2 toilets, 1 large and 1 small. You also have a storage bladder for example a pram. The bedrooms are good and the mattresses are comfortable. In my opinion it is a nice park. It is fine for a few days, weekend think the best. Plenty to do to fill your days such as a swimming pool, jungle dome, market dome to eat and drink in the evening. We had a VIP house and that was a bit far-reaching glory, but we could continue. However, I found the cleaning poor. Hair and dust everywhere. kitchen was well equipped for cooking.

Very nice and helpful staff, nice bathroom and many opportunities for leisure activities - perfect short break ...
Free WiFi with around 1Mbits is available and sufficient to use the Centerparcs own app.

A beautiful park, unfortunately you have to keep your eyes on the path to avoid the mines left behind by friendly dog owners. The description "car-free" is lived very freely.
Apart from the technical equipment, our bungalow seems to have remained unchanged for the last 10 years (February 2008 we were already in this CP). During our visit to Bispinger Heide in 2012, we noticed that areas were already being renovated.
The cleaning of the bungalows could be better: A clear demarcation between the cleaned and the uncleaned area under the sofa in the living area cannot be overlooked. This is also what the areas under the single beds in the sleeping area look like (yes, it is very tight, but feasible).
On the day of our arrival we could only move into the bungalow after 4:00 p.m. A puddle in front of the fireplace indicated cleaning - an area between the wall and the dining table, however, indicated the opposite.
There were no technical defects in our bungalow.
In the swimming pool: The hair dryers for the "little ones" were disturbed several times during the week and couldn't be used.

Good service: If the mattress is "worn out", you should contact the reception and it will be replaced.

Centerparcs would be happy to come back again - I don't know today whether I will travel here again.

We were in a renovated house, it was fine on the inside. However, they remain dated houses. Instead of patching it up, it would have been better to rebuild it.
Park is very beautiful, with many facilities and enough Covid-19 measures are also taken.
The park is car-free, sounds very nice. However, we were quite far at the back of the park and everything was quite far away with 2 small kids. Even during rain the car was not allowed to enter the park and we had to take the pram through the rain.
To solve this, you can rent golf carts for big money. So instead of being knocked off your socks by cars, this is done by the golf carts. In other words, children can still not play on the street. All in all, the low-traffic is just a business model for center parcs.
Prices of restaurants and supermarkets are on the high side, but there are also plenty of facilities outside the park.

Full of charm and friendliness.

Full of charm and friendliness.

The elimination of the defects and blemishes due to the age of the park, which have now been sufficiently mentioned here, should finally be taken care of from 2020.
This is really about time, dear management.
Am curious.

Anyone who has accompanied, got to know and love this really large park with old trees and often natural forest areas in its aging process will probably see Het Heijderbos differently than a one-day flyer who is always looking for the newest, hippest vacation home at the cheapest price.

The park is gray in honor, but still fit and very
very wise.

We haven't had to worry about any of the numerous employees during our 20+ stays here.

Everyone has a day when it is harder for them to smile than usual. That is why they are human and not machine.
In another society you might ask the other person about the respective reason, speak to them well and express understanding.
Most people find it easier to give an anonymous negative assessment on a platform provided by an otherwise disreputable operator.
How to call into the forest .......... !!!

Most of the employees here put their hearts, souls and minds into their work and try to get the best out of their "old boat".
That's what matters.

Problems that I do not report on arrival cannot be resolved and may remain undetected over several bed changes.

Too much shade on the terrace!
Hello!!!
Anyone who judged such a fact in a map service with satellite-supported images as negative could have checked the location and vegetation in advance.

Conclusion:
Old park with unspoilt forest and great employees.

Lovely park .. nice pool only the corona rules in the restaurants change daily makes it a bit unclear. One day you get bragged for you and the next day you can do it yourself and so it changes back and forth every day

As with so many previous reviews you can read that the accommodation is not brand new or ultramodern and in all honesty not shiny. But none of the above points affected our mid-week in the Heijderbos. We don't come to the center parcs to spend a whole day in the cottage. For us, that is merely a breakfast and sleeping place.

The swimming pool was also a bit less to our 'needs'. No cool (tube) slides, 2 bland mini slides with half an hour of sliding time and a mega Cool white water raft that was 'too wild / dangerous' for 6-year-old son, so we had to do it all week with the wave pool da what turned out to be waveless.

This is our first time in Center Park, everything looked very nice on the pictures and the description of the houses was very nice. After we were able to move into the house, the disillusionment came. Unfortunately the house is not clean, dust on the beds, the carpets are dirty where our 9 month old son has to crawl, the taps are rusty and so on. Unfortunately, not all that nice

With the many bad reviews you get almost scared to drive. We were currently the third time since Mon-Fri. VIP- 4persons.
Bungalow was very clean and nicely decorated with sauna and whirlpool. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The swimming paradise has been newly renovated and is very clean. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. For the children, one is a dream. Next year again.

The area is quite large and apparently always well attended even out of season (many children). Ideal for families, you kids can experience and discover a lot or can easily find contact with other children. The offer is basically OK. You don't have to worry too much about what to do on the weekend. In terms of price, I feel that the relationship to quality is no longer entirely appropriate. The newest huts are getting on in years. Have now paid just under 180 euros for two nights in a premium house (priced in the middle segment). But you have 36 square meters of space (really not much), no dishwasher, extremely saggy mattresses, no oven / grill just a cheap microwave) and very expensive WiFi (actually cheeky that it costs anything at all). The price of the food in the restaurants here on site would be basically ok, but considering the quality it is absolutely overpriced. Had a burger with a portion of fries in the grill restaurant for 18 euros. The quality of the minced meat was really bad - otherwise the taste was also rather below average. The atmosphere on site is made quite nice (like jungle camp / Indiana Jones style), but relatively loud screaming from the children playing - which is certainly less of a problem if you are there yourself with children (so I don't rate this as negative - you have to just know).

There's not much going on around it. I.e. the activities are limited to the park, where you will be asked to pay extra for everything.

The staff is friendly and courteous.

Parking spaces are available, but you are not allowed to park in front of the buildings (only for unloading). Otherwise you have to park in the collective car park, which depending on the location of the rented hut can be quite far away and is chronically overcrowded (we searched for a free space for a good 20 minutes)

I think we won't come back here again. What is offered is simply overpriced. (Too old, too expensive, too little / no standard equipment like elsewhere in the meantime, insufficient quality)
