Carina Lauer Review of Centerparcs Heijderbos
The center and activities are great. Unfortunately...
The center and activities are great. Unfortunately, most of them come with a surcharge - but we know that now.
The Comfort and Premium bungalows are really very shabby. We were initially in a comfort bungalow, but it was so shabby and shabby (and that doesn't just mean the many insects) that we couldn't let our children sleep there with a clear conscience. Fortunately, after a hefty complaint, we were able to move and from there we lived in a premium category bungalow. It was better there, lighter and friendlier. Nevertheless, it is worn and the bathroom is simply no longer up-to-date. No water pressure and much too narrow a bathtub for showering. And lots and lots of spiders. Insect screens would be really attached there in the middle of the forest.
Swimming pool was great and the food at the Italian was really excellent and reasonably priced.
Our tip: Be sure to visit the park and if you can somehow afford it, take a VIP bungalow. Premium is somehow also possible, but you should definitely keep your hands off Comfort. In addition, the park is very spacious and you really have to walk forever in the cheaper bungalows.
