A boring place to have a drink. Place needs a good clean. Many bar flies on pokies. Owner rude and hides in his office under the stairs. Bars on windows are for what? Had three beers here stale glasses. It was like having a beer at a funeral home. Staff don't want to be their so it runs off into patrons...

The Centen is a relaxing place to unwind on Friday afternoon or a great place to meet friends on the weekend. Family friendly but also plenty of places to have a drink without the kids. They try hard to support the community.

Booked in advance for dietry requirments, told on the day its too hard because its busy took way too long to get meals. None of thw meals came anywhere near the same time. Every one around use had way more chips with meals ( maybe running out ). One of our group had to be reimbursed for the meal they orderd as they forgot it. Must be doing alright as we were a pre booked table of 14.it was 6 years from when we were here last, probably won't be back, better places to eat.

Used to be our local watering hole, go to for lunch...food continued to slip, we had multiple bad meals there, decided to take our business elsewhere. Also had a loudmouthed male cook who used to yell at wait staff like he was a pg version of Gordon Ramsay, very off putting when you're trying to enjoy a drink and a meal

The food was atrocious, the $26 seafood basket was cheap pre-packaged frozen seafood with no taste, cooked in old oil that was over due for changing. The pulled pork nachos had no pulled pork but overloaded with salsa. The carbonara was glugy and tasteless. We tried to eat in the beer garden but couldn't put food in our mouths without getting a mouth full of flies, we had to move inside. Drink were over priced. It's a shame because it does have a good outdoor area for the children to play. I guess they still get people going there because it's convenient and close to home.

Popped in for a quick bite between appointments and WOW! What a surprising, refreshing experience.
From the outside it looks a little "local & uninviting" but Good Golly....the service was exceptionally friendly & authentically welcome & knowledgable about food choices.
The food!!!! A-ma-zing taste sensation. Hubby had the curry special which was rich & totally delicious. I had Chorizo & Calamari salad with pine nuts, feta, currants & rocket- Devine.

Amazing food good value. Kids love the free space to play and the jumping pillow. Some of these reviews and e a joke by idiots expecting table service when it isn't provided. You grab cutlery yourself. I don't mind. I appreciate the value for money. It's a great pub style environment and great food

Cheap drinks and expensive food not affordable for food. Heaps of kid play equipment. The other side is a quiet grass drinking area with shade. Beautiful and entertaining atmosphere. Really recommend you try for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.
