One word: mind-blowing. What a great experience at this art museum from the moment we entered to the moment we took the elevator to the second floor. Mind blowing. Was great meeting the people in the third floor too. Don't forget to visit this place if you are in Tulsa.

Tulsa's art community isn't massive, but this is one of this city's greatest artistic accomplishments. From interactive installation art in The Experience, to galleries and studio spaces, this place is a great collection of talent from the local area. Absolutely worth the price of admission, and they change things up regularly so things don't get stale.

This summer, I have been teaching yoga on ahha s back garden terrace. I ve been so impressed by the serene space in the heart of downtown, but perhaps even more so by the helpfulness and friendliness of the ahha team. They make each visit cheerful, fun, and carefree. A great visit whether you re stopping by a gallery, the terrace, or just swinging through the museum shop.

This was not a planned part of our trip, more of something we stumbled upon and I could not be happier about that!! This gallery was so incredibly interactive and fun!! 20/10 will DEFINITELY be coming back next time I'm in town!!!!

The new exhibit on the second floor- The Experience:Imagine is sooo awesome. We want it to be permanent, we had so much fun in the music room. My Grandkids loved the 2nd & 3rd floors. The 3rd floor is the fun studio. Huge room with activity tables for children & adults with every kind of art supplies imaginable for almost all forms of art, art books, easily, you name it and you can spend as much time there as you want creating. The 1st floor has a wonderful exhibit of modern Native American art by Oklahoma artists.

Very VERY disappointed at this gallery for beginning it's policy of charging during the First Friday Art Crawl. Art Crawls were set up across the country to allow people who don't have the opportunity or MONEY to see local galleries and immerse in art. I walked up to the door and saw a $10 admission.....nope. Saw wonderful art in other venues, not a clue what was at the AHHA Gallery.

Me and my three children were so excited to finally visit AHHA. We planned our Saturday for AHHA and we were so excited when we arrived. We arrived, walked in and paid and began our adventure. As we were done with the first floor we were ready for the second floor, but then we were told that the second floor was temporarily closed since new attractions were being added to it. Once we found that out we werent too happy with the visit. My kids are 7, 3, and 4 years old and the second floor was exactly what they would have loved. The lady that greeted us and took my payment never mentioned that a full 3rd of the museum was closed, we paid full price for not full service. The 3rd floor was crafts and book reading and painting, the same crafts and things we do at home or at school, so it wasn't too exciting. Overall I am very unhappy with our experience. We most likely will not be back and I will not give any recommendations for AHHA. We should have been notified that the second floor was closed. Unacceptable.

I learned that there are open hours for their studio workshops such as print making, wood shop, photo lab, computer graphics. Tuesdays, Thursdays, select hours & Saturday. I'm in. Fantastic equipment & space + other membership benefits, starting at $40 a year.

I'd give the artists 5 stars, but the staff? 0. If you are blessed enough to work for a wonderful art museum with unique interactive art, you should be proud and happy to work for the place. There were two workers up front and they both talked to someone for over 10 minutes while we just waited. They were just having a friendly conversation and didn't care that we had to wait. They saw us. They weren't busy. One could have easily helped and sent us on our way as the other talked. They just ignored us. It was VERY rude. And the person on the 3rd floor didn't help or greet anyone but did complain about cleaning up a mess.....of course it's messy.....it's ART. Hire people more grateful and engaged and proud of art. It's not a hard job.

However the second floor was AMAZING. And the 3rd floor had a LOT of resources and fun prompts. Go early and plan a day there so you can lay back and enjoy the art and create art. It's a wonderful place.
Also very kid friendly!
Hopefully next time I go different people will be working.

Very fun place. This was my second time through and still had a blast. It is full of odd sculptures and videos some of which are interactive. The top floor is a creative space full of crafting materials. They offer art camps for kids and from what I read on a bulletin board they do quite a bit to promote art. There is an awesome balcony on the top floor with seating and restrooms. The experience could be overstimulating to someone with asperger's, autism, or epilepsy as there are a lot of flashing lights and loud sounds.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at AHHA. Our two year old loved it too! Definitely one of my new favorite places to visit in Tulsa. If you're visiting from out of town, it is the perfect place to visit in between lunch and dinner!

ahha Tulsa is a unique and wonderful place, I visited and perused the building on a Saturday afternoon. It has a local artist gallery on the first floor, the experience exhibitions on the 2nd floor, and the studio on the third floor, as well as a rooftop, in which you can work and create art with the materials they provide, or possibly your own materials if you contact them first. This is a place that I would definitely bring friends, and my family. It is great for anyone who has little children as well because there is a lot for them to do and enjoy. Can't wait to return.

Ahha was awesome! I actually thought we were going to see an interactive Christmas themed exhibit and was pleasantly surprised to find out we would be be visiting The Experience. It was still an interactive floor and much different than anything I've ever seen in an art museum. My partner in crime found it scary but I thought it was enjoyably odd (:

If I had to explain the exhibit to anyone debating visiting before it closes on December 29th, I would say it was made by/for people interested or currently on psychedelic drugs. Very weird. Very fun. Little kids might get creeped out, but nothing inappropriate. The Experience suggests you wear glasses similar to 3D shades making the various colors and patterns really POP out and grab your attention.

The workshop floor was also a surprise. I thought there would be 3 floors of exhibits but the 3rd was a place to contribute your own creative pieces and I found that both fun and challenging. The have a reinvented gumball machine that provides you with a spark of creativity should you lack your own and I can't say how much I liked that. It led to another half hour of fun conversations and a horrible attempt at a neck tie.

After this visit, I'd definitely be interested in checking out future exhibits at Ahha the next time I'm in Tulsa and looking for something to do.

As a born and raised Tulsan, I have loved watching our downtown grow. AHHA has been an integral part of that growth. Downtown Tulsa now has an awesome selection of art galleries and exhibits and AHHA is one of the best. It's constantly bringing in new artists and exhibits that inspire you and challenge the way you look at the world. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I came here with a friend a few weeks ago and it was very cool. I love immersive art. This exhibit has plenty of photo ops which is fun. Suitable for all ages, good location close to restaurants & shops. Admission is $12 I believe. Try to have exact change, as it s not super convenient for them.
