Friendly staff, loved it!!

So I got a rib fillet steak sandwich for the "$10 special of the day"
Ohh man it was amazing!!! I if I had gone anywhere else it would of cost me easy $30 plus!

Dancing some.dude trys to fight me and I get asked to leave. Last time I checked the constitution allows you to defend yourself. Funny thing is I didn't even hit him.

Could use some exterior painting but other then that nice place.

A great Irish pub in Townsville. I enjoyed every minute. Great entertainment from a young lady who sang her heart out, what a singer...!

Good staff, some good bands, nice venue (when the dance for don't flood ) tonight was a good night out.

Classic Australian Irish pub setting including an occasional angry drinker but overall pretty good. Lost my phone containing my licence, credit card, debit card & cash while out for a few drinks. The bar staff at Flynns returned the phone & all contents completely intact the next day.Myself and 3 friends visited this pub while passing through Townsville a couple of weeks back. We weren't expecting much excitement given it was a Wednesday night. We were very wrong.

By 10pm the place was full of people all having a good time. The guys running the bar were the life and soul of the party, especially the big guy with the fantastic beard.

I go in most Wednesday karaoke nights, and the bartenders are great, security is pleasant, and layout is nice to have a full evening. Is close to nice food too and the strand. If they could manage to find a way to close one of the men's toilet doors for some privacy I'd put up to 5 star.

That new bartender, I think Julia was her name, man she's amazing. Responded to orders quick, was really nice and friendly, she was killing it.

Has large open area where YOU CAN SMOKE AND DRINK
VERY UNUSUAL NOWADAYS
So great for those that do. Instead of those horrible cramped uncomfortable places like the one at Cowboys!
And just about everywhere unfortunately as it seems imbecilic to ban smoking but not drinking!
They are both bad, of course, but they do kinda go together!
Also has a brilliant karaoke Wednesday night and a really quite smart crowd then!
Bit rough and dingy, few fights break out later at night and security not always on to it promptly but can be gotten promptly.
Not super clean like most pubs arguably, but it's ok for women pretty much as has security but also cos on main street.

It is what you expect from an old Irish pub. Great live music, sticky floors, grotty toilets and ok cider.

Great variety of live music! The new kitchen is Bonza! We got a roast dinner for only $10! Very delicious!

Establishment correct, a little too much waiting, however. The food is good, a smile from the waitress at the checkout would have been appreciated
