Great meal and service. The band was tops. Great night out.

Meal was tasty, staff courteous not lots of atmosphere though

Meals were exceptionally beautiful. Bigger and better than the photo on the pop up menu card on the table. Even won some money on the keno. Keno lady was nice and friendly. Wife had $5 pavlova and said it was divine.

Great night, fantastic service. Dallas was amazing. I would definitely recommend Irish Finnegans.

The stuff were rude and when they stuffed up they tried to blame me. I was a long time customer but will never be returning.

Last time we went food and service we great but this time the service was super slow and half the food was cold. One of us ordered the special only to be told it wasn't available half an hour or so later. They replaced it with fish and cold chips. I give one star for this visit and that is generous.

My and my brothers steak were cooked perfect. Compliments to the chef. Quick and friendly service. Great steak special.

Steak was char grilled and asked for medium tasted burnt salad was average and chips were just warm and gravy was tasteless and they didn't give me what I ordered overall very average

We went to Irish Finnegans tonight, St. Patrick's Day, hoping for a wonderful Irish experience. We arrived to find ZERO Irish music (rock and roll playing on the speakers), poor service, a mixed-up order, over-cooked and over-priced food. NOT impressed.

Garlic sauce isnt right, small pokie area, good dance atmosphere if you're into seniors.

Typical pub vibe with a typical pub feed. Very friendly staff who are relaxed yet willing to help. Family friendly environment in the restaurant. The live entertainment was awesome! Good way to meet the locals.

Great when their proper chef is working, otherwise I have found the meals can be inconsistent. Otherwise great service.

It was quite busy (Sunday night) it took a little while to find a clean table

Food was fine , tryed to play pool but not 1 pool que in the hole place asked barman he said you have to bring your own stick

There to celebrate a birthday some of the dishes selected were not eaten while others enjoyed theirs maybe next time will be a little better.

As usual it was fantastic we visit our son who lives in townsville and irish finnegans is the only place we go out for dinner thanks again to all the staff .

Good range of food and specials at good prices. Had pan seared tuna which was cooked very well. Good service, clean venue and reasonably priced drinks. Overall good pub food for a good price.

The staff here are very friendly however the food is a bit average compared to the other dining establishments in the area. The main good point is that they offer $9 lunches which are decent value.

Was a busy night and we didn't have a booking elsewhere so settled for here. Staff was nice food was pretty much what you'd expect. Parmi is a good option if you can't decide.

The parmy special was great for what you got on it.. however they should add a veggie option (like eggplant parmies) as we would go alot more

Our server informed my partner and I that she will be bringing out our menus and cutlery shortly but she never did. We ended up having to look up menus on our phone to find out what to order. We waited for roughly 15 minutes before the kids meals came out - but still no cutlery to eat it with. My partner ended up having to ask another server who was cleaning a table next to us for cutlery. The steaks were sub par average. Partner asked for medium to well and got rare. The cleanliness of the restaurant and our booth was appalling. Sorry but won't be going back there again.

on arrival there is no welcoming presence and often a scramble to find yourself a table. The staff always appear to be too busy to offer any assistance and will watch you struggle with children and throw dirty looks your way. When ordering the staff are rude and anything but helpful. Don't bother to order anything off the advertised "specials" because they wont have any in stock and will wait until after you've paid to advise you. i am a regular here due to the cheap average quality meals provided, but the service is shocking and needs a big shake up, training and investment in there team.

Asked me to take my skally cap off in the smoken area.. Then ask if thay could turn the music up for 3 songs on the juke box she goes yer just a little bit not a fan any more it was once the best place in town once

Had the best night at Irish Finnigans. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back

A nice venue with a good atmosphere and lots of choice on the menu. The meals were very quick to arrive, but they were a little basic and weren't all that tasty or appealing. I ended up eating all mine, but it was only OK, and my wife only ate half of her meal. The prices were reasonable, however, which helped overcome the food. I won't be back in a hurry with the current menu, but would try again in a few years.

Had not been back there for over 4-5 years as food was never that good but decided to give them another chance. Place was almost empty mid week for dinner . Wife sent back her pink chicken parmi and my garlic prawn schnitzel was the worst I have ever tasted.... so bad i actually felt sick afterwards. Will never go back again.

Good food, great price, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere

Nice little pub, locals are friendly. Staff are great. Decent pub meals on offer. Very enjoyable. Sunday pool competition is worth a look for pool lovers.
